1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan as the Next Big Destination for iGaming Operators? on: May 10, 2019, 08:33:28 AM
Well Japan is one of the best destination when it comes to tourism due to it's beautiful tourist destination, hospitality and discipline. With regards to Japan being a hot spot for iGaming destination I think this will be great since we all know Japanese are creative in many ways and also they are really advance in regards to technology, this is an advantage if they will be making online-casinos.
1522  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange BiKi.com Appoints Southeast Asia CEO, Ethan Ng on: May 10, 2019, 08:06:15 AM
It is good to know that there are countries in Asia that are developing platforms. It will make a great impact since we all know that traders nowadays are really particular in regards to picking exchanges. I am not aware of this exchange but,  let's hope that it can provide good services, security and liquidity to it's user to be able to become known as one of the leading platform in crypto sited in the Asian region.

1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will at least one federal bank starts holding btc in upcoming crypto summer? on: May 10, 2019, 07:18:45 AM
How probable is it? Who is more likely to do this apart from St. Louis Federal Reserve? Will it immediately trigger a bandwagon effect when it happens or it will take time for others to follow?

I doubt if federal banks will ever support cryptocurrency since they are against it. Cryptocurrency had made people forget about banks since using crypto vs bank is far more convenient, time-saving, and cheaper.

However, due to anonymity, who knows whether if such banks are secretly holding bitcoin. It is possible, but I doubt if federal banks will ever announce it's support for bitcoin.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oldschool BTC Site Help on: May 10, 2019, 07:05:58 AM
Well, you must be referring to bustabit just like most of the people suggesting here. It's one of the oldest and most trusted crash game. I used to spend most of my time in that site before.
1526  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What people prefer Now- A Centralized or Decentralized Exchange on: May 10, 2019, 12:41:37 AM
It all depends on traders preferences. Both of them has their own advantage and disadvantages. Centralized exchange sometimes may require KYC which we could agree most traders find a burden and risky because of possible credential leak or disclosure. On the other hand it offers liquidity and not to mention has larger trading volume compared to DEX which most trader are looking for.
1527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: May 10, 2019, 12:22:44 AM
I am not quiete sure, but I have a U.S. citizen friend who lives in our country who buys bitcoin using credit card in coinbase. Just try to check it out, and try to find a review first before transacting with your credit card, as you know it is risky to use credit card carelessly especially in crypto. Good luck.
1528  Economy / Economics / Re: Deflation based currency such as Bitcoin to counter promote economy. on: May 10, 2019, 12:08:02 AM
Currently, all major currencies issued by the government have natural inflation of about 2%.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, is much different, it, in fact, does not have any inflation but deflation.
Bitcoins are created less and less and the number of users does not affect the quantity of creation of Bitcoins.

Inflation on a low level promotes spending while deflation in Bitcoin promotes holding...

My question is, would an economy with a deflation based currency such as Bitcoin work?

As if the government would accept bitcoin to replace fiat just to avoid inflation. Bitcoin will never be a solution for i flation, if so, this would've solved the hyper inflation Venezuela had faced.
1529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going up again. on: May 09, 2019, 11:59:27 PM
It is achievable and no doubt that the market price of bitcoin is rising again. Recently there are a lot of good news going around crypto, adaptation, development, and other events related to crypto that potentialy have contributed to the market growth. This year had been a good steady growth for the whole market, let's just hope that this will be a good sign that the market is preparing for the next bull-run.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you think Bitcoin will be by the end of 2019? on: May 09, 2019, 11:51:11 PM
Most people are expecting it to be at $10,000 and I think it is feasible with how bitcoin price is moving today. As long as the market recovery goes slowly and steadily we can see a huge growth of crypto price compared last year.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 09, 2019, 11:44:54 PM
That is why I never just randomly click on websites and try new gambling sites. Sending that amount of money in an unknown gambling site is not a good idea. Well, let this be a lesson to your friend. Never ever enter a gambling site without even looking for reviews, feedbacks or even testing it with a small amount.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of these hacks? on: May 09, 2019, 08:40:45 PM
I guess it's none of two. I believe that Binance would never do anything to break the reputation of cryptocurrency because it would also affect them negatively. They have done their part when it comes to security measures but hackers are too smart to succeed with their plans to steal.
Binance didn't want to get hacked because it would surely ruin their reputation as an exchange. They might fail at some point but they didn't intend this case to happen.
1533  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tax optimization via digital currency on: May 09, 2019, 08:08:22 PM
If the government would accept tax payments through cryptocurrency, it will be more convenient to both parties to pay instantly.
However, we all know how the government works and moves when it comes to taxes. Cryptocurrency users might also get taxed if it happens.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin attained the maturity stage or is too early? on: May 09, 2019, 07:44:29 PM
I think Bitcoin is now too firm to be affected by controversies and negative news on trend. its maturity still depends on how investors and traders deal with the issues being thrown to it. The price movement is actually getting better which simply means that investors' understanding is too broad that they know how to deal with the market despite the hacking and laundering issues.
I agree with you, and it's a good thing that the price is now more resistant to bad events. Perhaps, we won't see the kind of bull run we saw before. But maybe a similar drop will not occur as well. It is better to see a mature growing community, that slowly helps Bitcoin to move forward, than Bull and Bear cycles. I think that now it's safe to say something has changed for better, but it doesn't mean the price will recover fast.

I agree with this. We can't conclude that the market is well matured but it's resistance to different controversies is an indication that it's ready enough to face bigger events such as the bull run. The fact that the price is increasing despite the latest Binance hacking issue is just a sign that Bitcoin is in the process of maturity which we could take as an advantage.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spain – busted - Crypto ATMs used to launder narco money on a large scale on: May 09, 2019, 05:52:15 PM

These illegal transactions are ruining the name of Bitcoin in other countries. Sometimes, controversies are the reasons why most countries are afraid to adopt it as a currency.
Crypto ATM is what we are all aiming for but due to these crimes, I don't think it would be easy for it to be implemented.

Weren't there limit to each withdrawals to such ATMs?

Banks can always find ways to avoid all these laundering, even if they used fake IDs they can't just withdraw that much like 9M Euros in 3 months, that would be suspicious so if they already find it out the first month, it would have been avoided.

Their limit is too huge where they can withdraw up to £2500. I think they planned it well and did it for a short time. Crypto laundering and hacking is getting worse these days and I just hope that it won't affect the reputation of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
1536  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: May 09, 2019, 05:11:29 PM
Cryptocurrencies are illegal in mostly poor authoritarian countries(Saudi Arabia isn't poor, but it's definitely authoritarian). We don't need the support of such countries(maybe except China) and let's hope that no country form the green area will move to the red area. Grin

Better to let everything be green
It will happen in the future, I guess Grin
But we need to be patient, and we need to wait for the time to answer.
Meanwhile, we don't have to think about where bitcoin can be accepted because as long as we can use bitcoin for the transaction on the internet, then we don't have to worry or afraid.
Soon, the other country which is not accepting bitcoin will start to learn about bitcoin, and they will accept bitcoin like the other country.

It's a long and skeptical process for Bitcoin to reach most countries but it isn't impossible. If we'll see the continuous development of Bitcoin, bigger countries are now willing to adopt and regulate it. If that will happen, it will influence other countries even those who are banning it. There are just developing countries which can't adopt it this early but that's acceptable.
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain technology is changing the world on: May 09, 2019, 04:45:27 PM
Blockchain plays a vital role in the economic growth of the world. It has been changing every user's life for years and it's reaching out every corner of the world. It only needs mass adoption and acceptance to make it an international currency. Bitcoin has contributed a lot and is making life more convenient because of its functions as a mode of payment. It's giving us financial freedom through its profitable investment.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what we can buy with bitcoin ?? on: May 09, 2019, 12:02:23 AM
With so much speculation surrounding Bitcoin, it’s worth evaluating what you can buy and transact with in Bitcoin for regular, everyday transactions as well as some more fringe use cases.

SO WHAT WE CAN BUY WITH BITCOIN IHEARS TRAVELS BUT THERE IS OTHER PRODUCT CAN BUY IT Huh?

There are certain merchants and countries that accepts bitcoin as payment, but it varies and limited as of now. Here in our country, you can use bitcoin to pay your bills, travel, buy some goods, and a lot more. It all depends on what country are you on, since there are countries that supports cryptocurrency and there are still some countries who are skeptical about it.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please help urgently, usdt cheated to a cheating usdt address on: May 08, 2019, 09:45:52 PM
Why will someone you don't know chat with you and tell you to send 100k usdt and you'll just send it for whatever reason he told you without researching about it. You should also know that such person would have used a personal address to receive the funds so it can't be tracked back to him/her.

I agree with this. Why would you send such a huge amount of usdt to a stranger online? That's another trap that we should get rid of. No matter how hard you track that address, I'm sure that the hacker has polished and smoothly transferred your funds. It's a lesson learned for you. I wish that you could still do something about it. 100k is such a big amount.
1540  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Make Sure You have 2FA enabled on your exchange accounts on: May 08, 2019, 08:56:51 PM
This is interesting. You have got to be stupid to not enable 2FA related to anything important to you. 2FA is seriously a game-changer, but some people are just too lazy to enable it leading to these incidents.

Such people need to stop being so lazy and need to get their shit together.

I would not say that they are stupid to not enable 2FA on their bitcoin related accounts. They are just having less knowledge about security of their accounts. We who have better knowledge should always try to educate them about this thing but if they still do not enable it while they know about it already then I can say they are careless or maybe they are just too confident with their account's password and they think that no one will be able to hack their accounts.

I certainly agree with you. Nobody wants to get hacked after all. These people seek knowledge and they would not share this kind of incident just to get bashed. The best thing that we can do for them is to share our knowledge regarding this matter so they would know what to do next time. Let's just stop victim blaming.
On the other hand, hackers are wiser and they move in surprising ways. Enabling 2FA upon registering on an exchange is the best thing that we can do for now.
