Self contradictory. To make murder legal REQUIRES law. Outside of law it's a matter of morals. Immoral men will murder regardless of law.
Thus, the first requisite of freedom is general competent armament. For those few men without morals to be made to think twice, or never again.
"Whoever desires to found a state and give it laws, must start with assuming that all men are bad and ever ready to display their vicious nature, whenever they may find occasion for it." --Niccolo Machiavelli I'm guessing Lohoris would be the first to found a state if ever we were absent of one. Since murder would then be legal (which would just make it killing, technically,) it would be assumed that all people, everywhere, would begin systematically killing every person they came across, until everyone was dead. Somehow, I don't believe this is normal human behavior. I mean, y'know, unless you're the head of a state with billions of dollars worth of a military to dispose of in some way. Then it would just be a waste not to kill people.

If the ultimate tax is hyperinflation, Bitcoin's some kind of government kryptonite. Crypto-nite? We need taxes, they just have to be adjusted, severely!!
You'll get much farther once you do the following: 1. Stop saying we. You are not me, so stop speaking for me. Say "I", as in "I need to be taxed", as it sounds much better and less crazy. When you say we, it makes me believe that you're okay with people being robbed, as long as you're not the only one getting shafted. 2. There is nothing the government offers that must be forced upon us, nor is there anything the government offers which cannot be taken care of by the private sect. If we truly need the services provided by the government, and many of them I believe we do, then it would be difficult to believe that the market could not handle these services. Example: I like protection. I want to pay an entity to protect me when something bad happens. Right now, I'm not only forced to pay for protection, but if I don't like the service, tough! The government is the top dog on security, and even if I hired a private security firm to protect me, they must ultimately answer to the men on top, none of which I've elected to protect me, none of which I wish to pay, and whose services I do not want, yet would have to pay for on top of private security. If the services provided by all forms of government through tax are enough to pay for both an oversized military and local police, and highway police, and constables and sheriffs, all through the little bites taken out of every dollar I earn, would I not then, if I were no longer taxed, earn enough to pay for these services on my own, if I truly wanted them? 3. If the men in power adjusted taxes, do you truly believe they will do it in the average Joe's favor? And if they did, how long do you believe, given the political history of, say, America, that these tax changes will remain until they begin to change again? It would be better to simply remove the ability for the men in power to tax, and to strive for a system as explained in point 2. This way, there's no opportunity for a central source of power to become corrupt, as we've seen happen time and time again, as there would be no central source with enough power for bribery to be a lucrative investment. In this case, it would be the average Joe who has all the power, and he would have little power: ideally, only enough power to alter his own life, and no one else's.

PPCoin has a competent developer so that's the one I'm holding onto. I had Litecoin for a little while but didn't really hold onto them. The others, I have no fucking clue, 'cos there's too many of them now. The moment a Litecoin derivative was born, it's like 20 new altcoins followed.

Why is Ebay and Paypal so Technically Retarded When it comes to BitCoins? Why can't they have a Seller and Buyer protection policy for BTC? Why can't they figure out how to systemize the sale of Bitcoin through the Block Chain Info? You think with the Billions they have in $$$ they can hire and/or train people to be Tech literate.
I'm pissed off because someone pulled the Charge back scam on me today. And Ebay/Paypal always side with the Scammers no matter how much proof you have. I had proof stating he received it in email, block chain proof, all kinds of proof yet nothing is ever good enough for those people at Ebay!!!
Because they aren't a currency exchange service. Futhermore, there's no way to charge back Bitcoin, so it's impossible to have buyer protection anyway.

Have you ever noticed that the only people who actually discuss anything with Shaggy are the people who disagree with him? What is he gonna do when he's ignored us all?
Register another account? Or use his old account.. Dank. Lol Dank and Shag would probably get along famously, but they're not the same guy; Dank looks different, I think.

I wonder if anyone was guessing way back when that their novels would become so incredibly popular, people would still have debates about them the world over, two millennia later, let alone live their entire lives according to them and for one, or often more than one, character.

I'm not quite sure if know the answer, but given how you're a hero member....
If I get a desktop for gaming and whatever, and I have this laptop, if I buy an asic miner or something, could I hook it up with my laptop and it wouldn't make a difference if I used my laptop or my pc?
The ASIC miner is doing all the hard work, so it shouldn't matter what kind of computer you use with it. I've never had one before so you'd have to look into how an ASIC is hooked up, but, with my general understanding of computers, I'd say that it could be hooked up to anything which supports its connection without any detrimental effect on the computer it's being paired with. But aside from that, getting your hands on an ASIC is even harder, and likely much more expensive than having a separate mining and gaming rig.

You're better off keeping one PC for gaming and another for mining; if you plan on using the same PC for both, you're not going to enjoy that video card for very long Plus, you have to decide if you wanna mine or if you wanna play video games, and that's always a bummer. But anyway, the gaming PC I have right now cost about 1k, and with the accessories (monitor and stuff), cost around 1.4k. I have no idea if there's any way you can get a good gaming PC for 700, but you'll likely have to build one if that's the case.
