I kind of have an impression that my activity is stuck at 14, because I'v made 57 posts in less then 2 weeks I'm here but it's stuck on 14, why is this so? Activity increases only every two weeks.

This offer will always be open: build a logo that says "Mike's Art Shop" If it's good, I'll use it, and give a link back to your thread. If not, I'll explain why it's no good and you can try again. You should be following all the tutorials you can find so you can improve; once you create something to my standards, consider yourself good enough for paid service. Send me a PM whenever you're ready. Good luck

Because you all think the flying spaghetti monster debases the reality of god, when it only supports it.
It's not really an argument against God, but against organized religion. Of course it's an argument against god... The FSM is just a rehash of Russell's teapot. It's the best, the oldest, and quite possibly the only argument against god. FSM always seemed more of a mockery of organized religion; God is never given a physical description so it's entirely possible he appears like a flying spaghetti monster. If you follow the belief that there is a God and no religion has gotten it right, it's entirely possible to continue to believe there is a God who created the universe and decided to stop intervening. If you ask me, it's far easier to just acknowledge the possibility of atheism, but I couldn't say the FSM is the perfect argument against there being a God; at such a point, if you abandon organized religion, it's all on you to decide whether or not God is useful in your life; those who do not see use are atheists, those who do--and I've noticed this among many followers of faith--simply abandon religion and decide to go their own path, i.e. deism. Can God appear as a FSM? I don't see why not. Is it likely? No. Has God been disproven? In his common incarnations, yes, but not entirely; the idea has no effect on someone who believes in what can't be true, as long as there is a feeling of existence.

It makes me want to throw up.
Once at Seaworld everyone was supposed to stand up for the US military present but I sat my ass down. I'm pretty sure I was the only one. (I would have stood up on the threat of physical violence but that never came).
That's sad to think about; I wonder how many of them were aware of what the US military is accomplishing and still decided to stand up. I can forgive the person who doesn't know, but someone who is aware and still decided to stand says a lot.

I no longer pay much attention to popular media, but when I did, I certainly had to grind my teeth every time they made an attempt to make me think something was this way or that way. I hate it when news outlets do this; the job of the media is not to cultivate ideologies, it's to report happenings, and yet we can't seem to get any major news outlet to stop doing this, which I presume is due to most of us not realizing it's occurring. For example, nobody needs to know whether the news is "shocking", "disturbing" or "controversial"; if it was, I would know it, I don't need to be told what to feel on it.

He isn't talking about kids modifying the bitcoin client. He is talking about a big scary company (google) with the power to make a crypto-currency mainstream instantly. I would love to see google running a pump and dump scheme anyway It sounds to me he was talking about a 2nd Bitcoin network, not an altcoin. If I created a clone of Litecoin and named it Litecoin, you'd have two of the same coin but with different networks. Still, if nobody uses the 2nd network, it doesn't mean anything.

There are an infinite amount of alternatives, check out the altcoin board. What separates Bitcoin is that it has a larger userbase, and thus attracts more people than the other clones. If someone made a real Bitcoin competitor, then you'd have competition; either way, it's more likely for someone to move into cryptocurrency than it is for someone to move away from it and into fiat.

“Our pasta, who art in a colander, draining be your noodles. Thy noodle come, Thy sauce be yum, on top some grated Parmesan. Give us this day, our garlic bread, …and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trample on our lawns. And lead us not into vegetarianism, but deliver us some pizza, for thine is the meatball, the noodle, and the sauce, forever and ever. Ramen.”
