Car crash deaths are so common nowadays; my favorite DJ died in a car wreck as well. I worry this is how I'll eventually get taken out.

Well, that sorts everything out. The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve. We have to trust them with our privacy, trust them not to let identity thieves drain our accounts. Their massive overhead costs make micropayments impossible.
...With e-currency based on cryptographic proof, without the need to trust a third party middleman, money can be secure and transactions effortless. He saw a problem and solved it

go to thailand. if you are a white guy, they love whities there. if you go to bars and clubs, the women there will approach you. the country is fairly modern, so i wouldn't call it a 3rd world country. cost of living is not very high either.
I'd avoid Thai women at bars and clubs; they're not there to find lovers as much as they're looking for sugar daddies. Otherwise I've been considering Thailand myself, only thing I'd hate is having to go back and forth between nations due to their immigration laws.

They can try. I forget who said it first:
Current System: There are whales, they try to prey on you. When they fail, they make the public bail them out. Bitcoin System: There are whales, they try to prey on you.

You're not a late adopter until bitcoin goes full blown mainstream, completely loses steam and goes through the stages of being replaced by Bitcoin 2.0

It depends on the author of the logo; bitcoin has no officially recognized logo, you can make a new one and start using it at any time you please. The ones on the wiki should all be public domain; see here for bitboy's logo, showing that he's made it public.

The Bible says nothing about Bitcoin. It would be a hell of a lot more impressive if it did.
LOL nothing in this thread will ever top this.

Fiat rules the world because it’s what people are used to. This is the equivalent of starting your argument with, " Well..." Carriages rule the world because it's what people are used to. We clearly see where the argument against the horseless wagon went: out one hole and into another.

I really don't wanna talk about it but if you guys really want to know I'll give a little details.
It's up to you if you wanna talk about it; don't do anything you're uncomfortable with if not for your sake.

the guy is a regular Nostradamus. From his Wiki.
Y2K catastrophe prediction
North predicted a Y2K catastrophe in print and online, and predicted that a Y2K date-rollover failure of the global Information Technology (IT) infrastructure would precipitate severe disruption and the complete collapse of the international economy, leaving American Christians to restore society following the collapse
He seems like a healthy, stable fellow.
