This is really shocking because the used to be playing like a star in his early career as an NBA player but injuries got him good. It seems like the league really wanted to spend on healthy players nowadays instead to gamble on unstable players that might gonna cost them millions of dollars in mistake if they are not careful. Do you guys think that despite his size, he can still be a role player for some teams in the league?
I don't know his situation at the moment, but he was a superstar for me. I couldn't understand Detroit's waived of Kemba Walker. I hope Kemba Walker goes to a good team and gets back to his old performance. My take is he was waived because of his injury and with the amount of his contract piston might not see him as valuable as before, so they are not willing to give him that much or Piston has other plans to sign other players/stars. We really can't tell the future ahead of those past superstars. I agree that one time in Kemba's career he was really the main Alpha but because of the injuries and age those years are just part of his memories. Hoping to see him back, the same way with how DRose got that chance to play even he is also an injury prone star. |

I guess if we look at NBA's history in recent years, team owners would rather invest on young players. Just like in the case of Poole and Wiggins, they see the this 2 might be their future superstar and that it could bring them more championship, so it's a no brainer to offer them good contracts.
We can't read Green's mind but for sure, he either appreciate and very happy for the 2 or he just wish that the Warriors are going to offer him a good contract as well, so will see.

But as you age, and in his case, his skills are going down very fast and if I'm not mistaken, his numbers is the worst in his career if not one of the worst last season. So it's very important for the Warriors to really think about him whether to let him go or offer him but not a contract that he wants. Draymond was just an ordinary NBA Player if he didn't won a championship. Because he played with the best team in the NBA that's why he became popular, and in fairness to him although he does not have an exceptional talent, but the team really struggle if Draymond Green is not around, especially in big games. The timing was right for Draymond, when he play for GSW the splash bro and Iggy was really performing well, plus those big that help them to win the title. Maybe his presence really helps them in winning the game and giving GSW 4 rings, but classifying as an elite star I don't see him close to those mentioned names above, just like what you said, he's just an ordinary player who understands the game well and playing with the right sets of players who are working together. |

I'm seeing either Haney or Kambosos in his next fight assuming he win here. He will push for it and challenge whoever will the belt holder after winning his upcoming fight, Loma will be chasing for another belt and be back at the top. It is interesting because he will expect to entertain his fans once more, most are expecting that it will going to be an easy fight for him and he will be finishing Ortiz with his classic fighting style. There are lot of opinions about his next step, but all will be concluded after the result of this comeback fight. |

However, I disagree that the delay is not about money, still it, they are trying to be Floyd, undefeated, but if this is not going to materialized, then they are robbing us fans.
Not only the fans but are robbing each other of the money, opportunity, and legacy, so many things are at stake here for both of their careers, we can move forward and check other great fights but for these two fighters they just robbed one another with what great boxers should have and they will go down in history as two boxers who are coward to take their career to another level, I think they both don't like the fight to push, afraid that their zero losses will go. Maybe yes and maybe there's other things that kept both camps to negotiate and close the deal. There are things that still undecided or still not being cleared from both sides. I see your point and maybe that's why Crawford on the earlier time said that he's willing to adjust with the amount of potential profits, I mean he's willing to give Spence higher cut. Still unclear if who's making the delay or maybe you are also right with your sentiment that both fighters don't want to lose their winning records. It is really unclear because we don't know anything about what could've been the reason why the fight has been further delayed, both camps are keeping the curtains close and we can't even feel that Crawford is giving some pressure to make the fight happen because he will be at the disadvantage if the fight keeps on moving behind the original schedule as time will not be on his side always. It's really hard to speculate when we don't know the correct details. Too bad if this fight won't really happen. Yes, we are just waiting for a final update if there's already a confirmation if this fight will take place, as far as I understand Crawford is vocally willing to adjust. But we don't know the real score if it's Spence camps who's trying to avoid the fight or both of them are not willing to risk both belts and records. Too bad for most fans who are anticipating this possible fight as time goes by and the delay keeps on happening possibly the interest will lessen, and fans and gamblers will be moving forward. |
