.....

Any news on Jordan Clarkson though? I thought he is on the trading block after the Jazzz let go of Mitchell and they are rebuilding from ground up.
I only read about the interest from the Bucks and the potential return to the Lakers but I really have no idea to be honest. Maybe the Jazz will just offer him an extension so they could still have someone that will help them to compete and not plunge to the bottom of the table.

I think the Lakers are pretty full at the PG position and seem to be sticking with Westbrook. I was under the impression that Clarkson would have been the piece in any deal to get the Lakers picks and take Russ’ contract. Russell said today that he wants to go for the MVP this year, so maybe he’s feeling better this year… I’m not so sure MVP is in the cards for him ever again.

Yes, but I guess the Jazz is not interested on Russ contract. Hopefully Clarkson remain as a Jazz, but as I have said, the rebuilding process has started and so those Jazz players will have to go including Conley, in which there is also noise that Lakers is interested until they got Pat and then Dennis, and Bognadovic. Hopefully it will be a win win for those remaining Jazz players.

They don't have any option if the management will trade them then they just need to go with the flow, it will be good
for Clarkson to stay as he is familiar with the system.

But like what happened with the other stars, if the management trade them then they will go and play with the team.

If ever Jazz let Clarkson to stay, he might gain more minutes of playing time, together with the new young cores for
this upcoming season they will try to win games.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 29, 2022, 06:14:05 PM
Yeah, he has a lot of enthusiasm this coming season and it seems that the Pelicans are really looking to make a good run with him healthy. Only he seems to be in the fighting weight, I mean yes he can jump even with the heavier weight he got but it's better if he will slim down so that he can elevate more. Still, he is a force to reckon even if he decided to play one on one, or playing low post. So it's very exciting to see Zion back once again with latest hype and for sure, new highlights.

It also puts less strain on his legs and feet. That is the main reason his contract has weight limits stated. Pelicans do not want to risk him getting injured again because of his weight issues. That is a good move I guess since many are commenting that Zion is too big for his playstyle. He likes to be athletic but the strain on his legs and feet from those moves causes the injury. If he lessens his weight, he can do his moves without putting his health in danger.

The management observe that after some season of Zion with the team, now it's really a good challenge to this young star,
if he will be able to maintain that weight, the chance that he will not be prone to major injuries.

I like him pairing with CJ both are offensive stars with good role players around them the chance of moving to the next
round or maybe if chemistries will favor them, maybe they can achieve more.

Wait and see if what adjustments will be there for this team since Zion will play now this upcoming season.

Who said gambling will always be loss in future? There are both way returns like profit/loss and you need to be sensible gambler to balance your situation well and that's it.If you are not professional then you can enjoy with your small bets only.

You just don't go beyond your limits and keep up your budget if you don't want to end up in worse situation and play in well manner.

Are there really a lot of gamblers that end up in profit ? I doubt that as in the end, the house always wins. I know there will be some good days where you have a lot of luck but most of the times, if you keep playing, you will end up with a loss.

Not lot but there are some who can, experienced and pro gambler who knows how to handle their emotions, they are not after
exceeding from what they allot to their gambling activities.

People / gambler who understand both risk and profits that they can achieved during their game, but like what you said.

It's the house who will always win and nothing to argue with that, aside from any exploit or any hacks no chance that you can suck easy money
from the house.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 29, 2022, 12:07:17 PM
Another update on the undercard, Top Rank has added Nico Ali Walsh, the the grandson of “The Greatest.” He is still a bubbling Middleweight, so the future looks bright and hopefully he can carry the last name of his Grand Dad in boxing again. He will be fighting Billy Wagner, in six rounds.

It's good that we will see him fight in this under card, however, he could be pressure in his shoulder because of his last name. So we will see in the future, if he has what it takes to carry the name or simply another ordinary boxer that has the legacy in his name.
I'm not a believer of Nico Ali Walsh. Bob Arum and Walsh are just riding under the Muhammad Ali name. I am not saying that it is impossible for him to improve but so far I don't see anything special since his debut. Bob Arum cannot baby him forever, a cherry-picked opponent will soon upset him. I bet he will have a worse career than Salvador Sánchez II and Jorge Paez Jr.

Pretty sure that Arum knows how to milk him, that's why he was added to the undercard as I have said. So he can have few wins here and there and build this name, just like what they did to JCC Jr. Fighting all tomato can and cab drivers in Mexico and once he venture into the big boys, he wasn't like his Father.

So let's see how far Nico can go with his career, he can earn millions by just by his last name. And hopefully he can go and win a belt at least to make everyone around him proud.

Arum knows how to play with the audiences and fans. With the name behind Walsh, it can be a future money maker
for Arum, he will continue to expose his fighter and make him look good.

Two things, he can train hard and might achieve more success or Arum will just keep using him and hyping his
name to attract more possible fans to believe and support.

Still on his hands, if he will pursue and try everything, he got to line with his granddad's footprints there's nothing wrong
in dreaming of having a successful career if he will back it up with hard work.
1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 29, 2022, 11:22:30 AM

I think this fight is a already a go even if there is no contract sign yet. Too big not to happen, Inoue wanted to get all the belts, while Butler wanted to derail all his plans. The fight is still in December though, lot of time to prepare for this huge fight in Japan.

There's no reason this fight will be cancelled, with the ample time, both fighters will be able to prepare to give the fans an entertaining fight. However, we cannot prevent the majority from thinking Inoue will just dominate here, I hope Butler has something that would surprise the fans, if this will become a big upset, we will surely see a rematch.
I also don't think that this fight is going to be cancelled. Maybe they just have to sign the the contract in the dotted line. And since there have ample time, they might be just waiting for everything to be well written before they accept specially Butler since he is the one who is going to travel to Japan. And his team needs to know that everything will be secure including the venues and purse split and maybe a rematch clause, just to make sure that Inoue can get back his title, if he lost this fight.
Both fighters wanting to watch each other, so they will not cancel this fight. Remember that it's an undisputed championship, it's the biggest fight in a certain division, so let us not think negative, this fight is gonna happen and both will be prepared.

Indeed, they will push this fight as they will expect a huge money if this happens. We should be positive, as both camps are now still negotiating.

While waiting for the final contract, both camps are preparing now and expecting that they are both conditions when step inside the ring.

Be as it may, both are champions and expect that they will not disappoint the fans and the people who are working on it will succeed.
1586  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: September 28, 2022, 10:54:26 AM

Floyd won another exhibition match in Japan,

I have forgotten about that fight, thanks for reminding. Another easy money for Floyd. Google says that Floyd would get 20 millions if he competes and 30 if he wins that fight, and most funny, 1.5 million if he appears on a press conference. Surprisingly, this exhibition fight last more than 1 round.

Damn, 20 - 30 million is a dream money fight for some of the elite boxers that we have right now, Canelo is still the cash cow, but GGG get around that money fighting him. So just imagine those lower weight class champion, I doubt that they can get around how much Floyd is making in exhibition fight in like 6 minutes.
I'm also curious though if the organizers can really get more than what they gave? $30 Million is already a huge money, a money that a lower weight class champion cannot even earn in a year.

They'll get more if they sold more tickets.
Regardless though, these organizers will not pursue exhibition matches if they don't get a handsome profit from it. May it be they get more than what the boxer gets or the other way around, they are still earning millions.
Put Mayweather or Pacquiao or anyone who's retired and formerly dominates in any combat sports in the ring for an exhibition match, and we can easily tell it's a guaranteed money.

Logically right! Promoters will not spend time and effort just to pay the fighter's check but for making decent money,
they continue to bring exhibition fights to earn as simple as that.

Look how Mayweather collecting easy money from those fights that he made, and now,
we will see also Pacquiao doing his own versions of exhibition.

Maybe the difference is Pacquiao announces that the profits will go to the chosen charity while for Mayweather every
sweat means a huge amount of dollars.

1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 28, 2022, 09:45:26 AM
Well, it's not new anymore that people wanted some spices before the actual fight to somehow make the fight more interesting. I know Zurdo is one of a kind but he needs to prove himself first against Bivol before starts boasting and saying lines like that.

If that is what he believes, then we just have to let it that way. Zurdo might be boasting but actually, he won't have the guts to say things like that if he's not sure about it. Might be because of his perfect record, he thinks achieving it is really difficult although he's correct on that regardless of the level of popularity of those he fought before.

Against Bivol, this might be the biggest fight of his career that's why he is pumped up. Let's wait if his talks is not just about talk.

Well, if Bivol hasn't fought Canelo earlier then this will be a normal fight for Zurdo. Golden Boy Promotions would be the sole promoter and there is a possibility that they will rob Bivol of a victory if there are rounds that are a little close.

Back to reality, I hope both fighters are in their best condition. I love the neutral venue which is beneficial to the defending champion. I know Bivol is in love with boxing technique but I would love to see knockdowns and knockouts.
I think he will try to go for a knockout here, but i guess Ramirez being the bigger fighter, Bivol might have a difficulty achieving it. In any case, we have seen that he can bang and the uses his technical skills, just like what he did against Canelo.

So if he dominates Ramirez, then I guess it will be the same as win though and then fans are going to pumped again because he will be having a rematch with another Mexican.

Yes, Bivol is already used to beat boxers who are taller than him and he already proved that he can outboxed them using his speed and IQ inside the ring, but I'm also thinking that we might underestimating Ramirez that much because seeing his few fights, I can also tell that Ramirez is not an easy opponent to defeat which explains why he got a pretty record and also undefeated just like Bivol.
Maybe the outcome of Bivol vs Alvarez fight still lingering in most minds of the viewers and fans, but yeah, better not
underestimate another strong fighter, like Ramirez.

He's capable of beating Bivol with the reach and height advantage he can fight like Ugas fighting Pacquiao just guard
his critical point and throw jabs that will convert into score.

Inside the ring, we don't know what will happen. The chance of both fighters to win is the same as long as we don't
hear a name being announced as the winner, we can't conclude who will win.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 28, 2022, 09:35:21 AM
You cant say that it would be outmatched considering that Mayweather wont really be reaching out that position or fame if he wasnt that great.Yes, lots had been criticizing on how he fights but the basic concept of
boxing is to hit and not being hit which he had just basically been following that but in overall it did end up on bad impression with that kind of fighting style which do almost involved running and evading.Yes, its effective and he's the solid proof that it could be done and reaching out those numbers and ending up on having no loss.Wondering if Inoue could hit up solid on him, yes its true that we cant really make comparison
considering that its a generation difference. Speaking about butler then this is something that our common sense would tell us that he wont easily beat up the monster.
While some may have had some issues with Mayweather due to his fighting style most experts recognized just as you do that defending and evading is as important as throwing strong and fast punches or having great endurance and a strong chin, however what many had problems with was that Mayweather was very open about fighting only when everything was on his favor as his record was very important to him, and that did not sit well with some fans.

Even it' not working with some fans but he still collecting big paycheck with the type of fighting preference he used.
Mayweather knows and fully understands that such an advantage.

He will not change anything as it was, he's strategy ever since, and with using that fighting style, he maintained his
clean records up to now.

He already retired but we continually seeing him making an Exhibition fight and continue to see the same format
fighting only if everything is in his favor and especially if the amount is decent.

Moving to the topic, Butler might look with that same style but against the aggressive monster he needs to master
how Mayweather execute the style.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2022, 03:11:22 PM
I have read news that the Celtics players were caught off guard about Ime Udoka's case. Majority of them found the news in twitter like Jayson Tatum and so they are confused.

And then they are talking about how excited they are to come back this new season to do it all over again and duplicate what they have accomplished - go to the finals. But it seems that the players are affected by it and they are taking about the 'process', as they will be coach by Joe Mazzulla.

Well, they have no choice but to accept the reality, no more Udoka this season and probably the succeeding seasons as well, but they have a job to do, it's an unfinish job, they reach the NBA finals, it's time for them to win this time.

There's plenty of time to make the adjustment, the current coach is the assistant, so I'm pretty sure he is very much aware of the system and he just need to implement it, we were impressed by Udoka's performance last season, but he made a big mistake, so he has to face the consequences.

I also believe that assistant coach can work it out since he was there when they play the entire last season, adjustment wise they
don't have a lot unless the new coach has a new approach.

But to my understanding, Brad Stevens will be there for them. He knows how to deal with this and even the new head coach will
takeover. The final decision will still need to work with him.

Boston almost made it, just a step away to win a title, but GSW is really inspired not willing to give it up yet.

Floyd won another exhibition match in Japan,

Quote
The 45-year-old Mayweather dropped Asakura just before the bell sounded to end the second round. He tried to get up, but the southpaw couldn’t quite beat referee Kenny Bayless’ count before it reached 10.

Mayweather won in the main event of a Rizin pay-per-view show at Saitama Super Arena.

https://www.boxingscene.com/floyd-mayweather-drops-stops-mikuru-asakura-end-2nd-round-exhibition--169302

So another mismatch fight for Floyd and another easy money for him as he knock out Asakura in the second round.

Take note that Manny is amongst the crowd though, so maybe after his match against a South korean and then against his former sparring partner, he might go to Japan as well like Floyd and fight.

Of course it's a mismatch Grin I mean, I seriously don't think that Floyd Mayweather would fight someone who have a fair chance in beating the undefeated Floyd. He may say that he's willing to put his record on the line but we already know the truth behind that.

Hopefully we can see another Pacquiao-Mayweather fight even if it's just an exhibition fight, people would surely love that if that's going to happen soon. Even if it's just an exhibition fight these two cannot hide their competitiveness, so we might see classic fight. I'm rooting for it!

Even it is only an exhibition fight, fans will surely love to see both legends about the ring. The chance, though, is slim knowing how
Mayweather will give his excuses.

If ever, just in case that the wind will move in the right direction, maybe a billion of dollars may change his mind. I don't know but
Mayweather can easily bank money from many exhibitions that he might take.

He won't be bothering risking his clean record just to make some amount facing Pacquiao in an exhibition fight.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2022, 08:59:54 AM
....

That makes the three of them inside the same team an injury prone namely Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and John Wall.
One of my favorite memes when I see injury-prone players come together is that Warriors have the splash brothers while this team have the glass brothers.

The coach probably needs to balance these guy's game time to help prevent their body from breaking. This will be tricky to implement early in the regular season but Tyronn Lue can make it work....hopefully.
Load management is the key I guess so that these guys will be less prone to injuries. They already gave it to Kawhi in his last season but unfortunately got injured against the Jazz.

Glass brothers sounds funny TBH but it's the truth. All 3 of them are injury prone. Well, let's just hope for the best to this team and if they will be healthy all throughout the eliminations and with the amount of good role players that they have right now, I'm guessing that the lowest that they can get is Western Conference Semi-Finals.

Load management should be implemented as by experienced already manifested during Kawhi and PG got injured.

With Wall arrival he can add solid offensive help but only if he will play healthy, the problem can be solved by rotating them properly

I mean making sure that they will be having enough rest and load management can be apply that's much better to let them stay

healthy and avoid possible stress, fatigue, and injuries.
1593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 26, 2022, 08:34:26 PM
or maybe the contract is already signed and they just announce it and surprise all of us.
I doubt with this, actually a big fight will always announced in very beginning to attract many people watch the fights, if they're announce it when the fight are vert close, they can't make good sum of money. This is boxing where the boxer only looking for a title or record, but there's few boxer only looking for money.

But it's good if the fight will be happen since I've heard either one of them want to move to next weight and that's make one or both of them actually prevent to fight each other lol.

That should be the case, they sign a contract announce the fight, fighters train hard, promoters meet with the media to discuss the fight, then boxers do media conferences or make tours to attract and hype the fight this is where thrash talks happen, but we're not seeing these things in their match if there's really a match, no problem with the hype because even if they do not engage in thrash talks people will still buy tickets and subscribe to PPV, this fight is many years in the making and no one in the boxing community will miss this.

by the way, stake's odds is out for this match. so this is indeed happening!

i was thinking, errol will be the slightly favourite here over crawford as he has more belts but hey, this one may change a lil bit once the fight is getting near. so place your bets as early as you can while the odds are good. this fight will sell good and both fighters will earn good amount of money. the purse split may be in favour of spence here though.

I was surprised by that odd. I also believe that it was Spence that will be bookies favorite, not Crawford, but with
what you have shared, those who are in favor of Spence need to act quickly.

It will be change along the way, not sure the basis but with numbers of Belts and previous fight Spence is more
active compared with Crawford.

Maybe it can be a trapped to allure those bettors, but it will be you as bettor or a fan to analyze and pick your
best fighter in this winner takes all matchup.

Are they trading him? Isn't it nice if he will just stay with the team and he will be their main supertar?

I was just thinking, if it's possible then there's no need to ruin that chemistry.  Smiley

We don't really know what's the real plan for our kabayan, pero kung ano't anoman eh sigurado naman na ang supporta ng mga pinoy
kasama nya kahit saan pa sya  maglarong koponan.

1595  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: September 26, 2022, 08:36:06 AM

Those who want to trade in new but should trade with good idea before trading. If there is no good idea about trade then he is at risk of losing all his money. If want to trade in new condition he should start trading with little money. And those who are eager  If there are traders, it will be better if you trade with ideas from them. If you start trading in this way, you will not lose. And if you trade without understanding anything, then you will lose all your money.
I don't have ideas about using demo account is good way when trading in cryptocurrency trough several years active trading bitcoin or altcoin never I used with demo account, I think what ever kinds between demo account or real account used for trading have different reality. Looks easy how to earn profit using demo account and faced difficulty when using real fund deposit or real account. But to learn about basic trading about deposit way, withdraw and how to buy several altcoin is worth for using demo account.

Not recommended to learn technical or analyze with demo account and deposit small fund is better to try with trading in cryptocurrency, I think need experience begin with trading in cryptocurrency and used real fund money is the best way how make us prepare mentality when trading with bitcoin or altcoin, some time demo account not impact with strong adrenaline when trading on bitcoin or another trading kinds.

Demo account gives you a glimpse of how the actual trading happens, but it's also true that there's a big difference
when using an actual account.

The emotion is there already when you are using real money, unlike with demo account where you can just place your
entry in your desire position and you are not worrying about whatever market move takes place.

Maybe you will learn the basic, but the right practices are still better to learn when using actual accounts.

In my opinion, the rosters of the Clippers, Wolves, and Cavs look promising.

These three teams supported their squads well.
But the strongest among them are the Clippers as we know.
I don't think Minnesota and Cavaliers will have much of a chance in the NBA finals. Because they don't have a real all-star player on their team. Like Kawhi Leonard.

With a healthy Kawhi, I also believe that Clippers will have a good chance of making their way to the next round,
just need another good run and bring the team back to winning passion.

They almost made it last season even both Kawhi and PG are resting, the role players are good and with the stars
playing around the winning chance is much expected.

Plus, adding John Wall, another offensive player, it is really exciting how the team will perform in this upcoming season.
1598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 25, 2022, 07:42:44 PM

The players already knew that they have no choice at all when they are being selected to be drafted so that the team will not pay excessive luxury tax, NBA is business after all as well as the franchise. If the players earn, the franchise needs to earn and save too, that's the point. If only luxury tax wasn't there, I bet the teams in the league will be so stacked up because they will be keeping their players especially the ones who are so vital for the team's win in the championship.

It's a business and most of those stars are after the money more than the title. They will play their best after the rookie year
in hope to have an extended contract up to the point that they will be earning the Max pay out.

If only the team owner can be excused with the taxes and the salary cap, they will keep players that help them to win a title or
even help them to make a good run.

But it's impossible for them to let players to have same salaries. Most of them will ask for more and the best thing to do
is going for the trade and let the players enjoy their luxury of being good in this league.

Yes, Butler now faces a very difficult task.  Perhaps his only chance is to outsmart the Japanese boxer.

He may pretend to be weakened and incapable of active resistance.  And then inflict an unexpected blow to the Japanese on the head.  Maybe this trick will work.  Butler's main problem is that his opponent is younger and faster. Of course, Butler himself will get tired much earlier than his opponent.

Also, he cannot count on his strength, because the Japanese is also very strong.

Therefore, only cunning can bring victory.  Some clever professional trick.

Well, we know that in any boxing match there can be an unexpected denouement.

Unexpected outcome if he will be lucky to convert a KO punch to Inoue, that will be his chance to win,
In terms of all the skills and capabilities by book, it will guarantee that Inoue has a higher hand here.

But we never know what the strategy of Butler will be and how he will deliver his chance to win.

Maybe the chance is slim and basing it with the past fights, we can see the big advantage of Inoue,
prime Inoue with speed and skills, plus the capabilities of strong KO punch.

Sa tingin ko malabong gawin main man ng Jazz is Clarkson, walang dudang magaling ang ating kababayan, pero kung nagawa nilang i trade si Mitchell, malamang wala na silang ititira sa mga lumang Jazz.

Oo malabo yan kasi dapat dati pa. Kahit maganda pa ang pinapakita ni Clarkson lagi syang off the bench.

ibang team.
