1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 05, 2022, 12:09:23 PM

True, but boxers who enter this game have to be aware of the risk, and he has to accept the risk. That's why they need to have the right training so they will be 100% ready and they can take the punches from their opponent. Referee has a big role in boxing, they have to make sure that they are doing their job well to protect the boxers and to make it a clean fight.

Their conditioning is crucial and also the weigh-in is carefully checked because the overweight can throw harder punches to hurt their opponent and can be fatal as what has happened in the last decades when they don't really care about their body weight back then. Right now they are extra careful and they even cut the maximum rounds to 12 to minimize the risk of unnecessary accidents. Furthermore, the boxers are aware when their opponents are not competitive when they hurt them so much and some of them ask the referee to stop the fight.

Which is really a concern that being address, way back they are just bringing the fighter in and let them showcase their fighting
skills regardless of if they've got same weight.

On that note, the danger on the opposing side is high so they segregate the divisions and let the same class to fight each other
and if they wanted to move up, there's a required requirements to meet.

The organization are really concerned to lessen the chance of an accident that may take place if the rules will not be implemented properly.

That's why the percentage of ring accidents and serious injuries before are higher. It's a good thing that after all those years, the organization has focused on wellness and fairness of the game so their players won't face a higher risk. We can't deny the fact that weight has a huge impact on the gameplay result so it should be fair from the beginning to make sure that the whole match would flow smoothly.

They need to adjust to make it safer for every fighter when they step inside the ring, the mistake that has been made before
should not be happening anymore.

Fighters nowadays are balance with the weight and the capabilities, it will be on their skills and talents that they will standup
from their opponents, good competitions, and much safer fights.

Though there are still some cases especially during the amateur fights but all in all it's lesser comparing from the old era of this sport.

These guys are really something and they need to do some difference in this upcoming season because the fans are expecting so much from them.
Fans are hoping that they will see better improvement to these team after those drama, by looking with how they played in their debut seems that they are all good and comfortable playing with each others, building chemistries still on its way for these three superstars.

Quote
These preseason games are just a warm-up and nothing really matters what the outcome of it these guys really need to take care of their bodies not engage in some real games until the real season games come.
For real fans, I know they understand that pre-season is just a warmup games and there's no bearing but for critics what we expect?

Quote
I think they won't gonna make the same mistakes where they missed a number of games without playing together and with Ben Simmons added to the roster, they can really make a difference this time if they can avoid getting seriously injured where they needed to sideline for 2 months and up.

If they can maintain their good health, the winning chance is higher and the chance on chasing the title is not by far.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2022, 02:51:30 PM
Kai Sotto is still in his 20 years of age and surely he needs to build up muscles for other teams to notice him that much this he is bulkier than Golden State's Patrick Baldwin jr. and I think if he could acquire faster momentum and get used to his surrounding he can surely play like Kevin Durant in my opinion, and I think my boy Kai Sotto will surely improve so much because he still has a lot of ceiling to fit up too,

Playing like KD will be too much of an ask for the young guy. First, they play a totally different position. Second, you need to have extreme handling skills to be able to reach KD's level. They may be near in height, but KD is a totally different beast. He already improved a lot based on his recent games. He is not sluggish anymore and has better positioning under the ring. Another year of experience and we may see an NBA level of skills on Kai if he does not stop training and improving his game. The body that he needs will naturally follow if he continues to improve and mature.

Let's only think of that once Kai gets to the NBA, he was not even drafted yet, so our expectation is too much. The good thing with him is that he keeps improving, if he will become a superstar in the NBL, that's where he will get a good chance to be in the NBA.

Still far in my opinion, unless he will show big improvement and he will gain more minutes than what he's getting right now.

Kai's mindset will bring him to his dream career. I agree that he's not stopping, and he keeps trying motivating himself to reach
that dream.

Only time can predict how Kai will become in the near future. For now, he needs to keep on pushing and try to learn more with
each experience that he's gaining from every different league that he is playing.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden 100x gem of November - December is...? on: October 04, 2022, 09:00:48 AM
Some of the new coins that I believe can skyrocket up to 100x are XRP, Cardano STEPN, etc, there is no harm if we dare to try or invest even with a small value, a good opportunity to get big profits can be easier for us to get if investing in cheap and new coins.

As long as you are willing and you fully understand what you are doing, there's no harm and no one will blame you since it's
your own money that you are using.

Ripple and Cardano are assets that you can take the risk, no doubt that there are still investors who continually holding
and collecting both coins in the belief that it will bounce high.

It's more on how good your timing and your appetite when seeing serious downfall, always a risk but trusting your judgement
is what will keep you on the right side.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 04, 2022, 08:47:21 AM
I miss the days when there were also world title fights in the undercards. Legendary Manny Pacquiao for instance used to defend his title while on the undercards like during the Lewis-Tyson fight. Glorious days for boxing. Now it's all about playing safe and money.

Boxers these days are moving like they were the promoters or organizers rather than boxers, they are too attached and more interested to know the money business instead of focusing in making their own legacy to be known in the industry just like the good old days. Probably the reason why almost all known boxers in the industry had built their own promotional company after their professional years.

In my opinion, they already taste the luxurious lifestyle, and they are not willing to go back. That's why even they already retired
they still wanted to continue doing business.

Most are building milking cow I mean discovering new breeds and they will use their name to promote the fighter and make good
amount of money.

On the topic, Less than a month now for this fight, Loma is expecting to come up with another good performance, a startup fight
for his comeback, let see what he got for us.

Did PCSO (Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office) manipulate the result or the winners defied the odds?  Roll Eyes
with that eye-roll, it seems like you are being sarcastic when you say "the winners defied the odds?". anyway, despite me thinking that there was no manipulation, I think an investigation should be done to prove no manipulation happened but knowing how Filipinos react to this kind of situation, they won't believe it(or at least the majority) if it was proven no manipulation happened.
Investigation can help, but knowing the government I’m sure it will just a waste of time.
There’s a lot of issues going on with our government right now, It’s sad but hopefully those winners are real and let’s just be happy for them, as long as all the winners will get their reward. Now this can be a proof that more winners are possible with Lottery, despite of the doubt about the system.

I'm with in this opinion, with a lot of issue right now, the senate is needed to prioritize what is more important instead of using
long time in investigating this issue.

Though I'm sure there are winners that are surely disappointed since winning a jackpot is a once in a lifetime opportunity,
and sharing it with that huge number of winners gives you a smaller amount of winning of money.

500K might be a good consolation and far better than nothing. If what happens is for real, there's nothing else that winners
can do now.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 04, 2022, 07:57:32 AM
I particularly know that many people go for Inoue, his category and way of fighting shows that he is a boxer who manages to do many things accurately and efficiently, I think these things are good to take into account, but Butler has many good things and characteristics special ones that can make you give a big surprise.
It is actually good to see that there is a division of thoughts on who ia going to win and who is your bet.

Both has good stats but it seems that many are for Inoue based on how he has beaten Donaire two times and as well as his past opponents.

Butler has a good stats as well but it is like many will not change their minds on how impressed they are with Inoue's past fights.

Yes, I agree that both fighters are preparing to the best of their abilities to get the win. There is too much at stake here. The winner becomes the undisputed champion and the first ever bantamweight undisputed champion since the 4-belt era.

But I cannot deny that I am one of those that belittle Butler's ability to win here. It's just that the credentials and stats probably all belong to Inoue. The fight venue alone will make Inoue feel at home and will further boost his morale. Inoue has every reason to win here. But I have so much respect for Butler for taking this suicidal fight. At least he never hides his belt in England and tries to defend it against contenders. This is history in the making and may the best man wins.

The venue itself will boost Inoue's aggressiveness, he will surely want his home crowd to see exciting and entertaining
performances coming from his camp.

Same with you. I guess Butler's acceptance for this fight gives him a credit being a title holder, unless he and his camp
back out but for now it will be an anticipating winner takes all matchup.

looking forward to see what adjustment Butler's camp will be, he's the underdog but still a defending belt holder.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: October 03, 2022, 11:37:37 PM
Another good reason that can make one to change mind towards gambling is old age which we will all get into in a matter of time, this has been found with grown up adults in gambling, some still gambles actually evennat their old age while some don't have any derived pleasure in doing that anymore, the conditions of an elderly gambler bith physically, mentally, emotionally and medically are necessary observable determinant for them changing minds on gambling at their old age.

Ya, age matter as they are commonly use the old fashion ways and are not capable or not willing to change up even there's already
changes that happening around.

People who will continue loving the way they enjoy the game and are not willing to take the chance of testing the experienced of using
the new ways of gambling, they are stuck with the one that they know from the start.

It's not that they can't understand, but they have their own reason not to follow the emerging progress and updates. They are
safe with the government rules as they will simply abide by the law.

1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 03, 2022, 06:03:02 PM
I think the Lakers is not the organization that develops young guns but just acquires stars that will secure them championships immediately. They are not the type of team that wants to go through rebuilding.

Agree with that, they are a team that can afford to sign superstars, so why would they start with the young guns? They were able to do that with Kobe, he got O'neil, and when O'neil left the team, they got Gasol and Odom. Now that they have Lebron James, they'll make sure that he will be surrounded by great star players and they won't mess up again this season for sure.

Lakers are a big business organization, so they are capable of hiring and signing players and every piece that they are needed
to be there and be a good, competitive team.

Like both of you, we already did it before and they can redo things if they need to do it. We will see if how they will perform
this season if they will come up with good chemistries and good bond together.

With the new head coach, it will be a big challenge for all of them. Fans and critics are all watching with how they will perform.

No doubt, the Los Angeles Lakers is a kind of team who will exhaust its resources just to find that player they needed even if the contract will be expensive, they'll find way. For now, the management will be watching closely if it's time to rebuild the whole team again or anything that will increase their chances in participating the championship round and win it. The team is currently made up of point guards, let's see how would the new coach handle that and the expectation that he needed to meet.

They will surely observe and see how the fans will react to this current roster that they've got. Anything that can create good
impacts on their chance will be discussed for sure.

Not sure if the current squad is good enough and if how the new coach will handle the pressure, especially you've got superstars
that you need to work with.

More on how he will drive the team and how he will earn the respect of each player that will going to play with him.

1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 03, 2022, 03:19:46 PM

As typically for camps, they'll say that they'll have the better stance on the fight night. But, like what everyone is telling that it's gonna be hard for Butler but easy for Naoya.

Obviously, no need to contest that because Inoue is the heavy favorite to win, and the odds are based on the perception of the people which bookmakers do only make a few mistakes on that. Though surprises happened in the sports of boxing, it's highly unlikely that Butler will win.

Bet on Inoue via KO, this will not last long for sure.

Most of the fans and gamblers who backing Inoue will surely take that bet, instead of low odd, with the ML taking that kind of bet
is better, it's very possible that Inoue will put Butler down.

Maybe with the defensive skills of Butler he might extent his stay, but once Inoue already saw an opening, it will be difficult for
Butler to keep his defense and he will be forced to engage and make a counterattack.

We never know when upset may take place, but likewise, it's possible and it happens in every sport, especially in boxing.
1573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 02, 2022, 05:22:51 PM
But the hype is already building so big that fans are eagerly waiting for the result of the negotiation. We are being teased that both agreed in terms already, now we hear that one side wanted the contract to be transparent, or whatever that it means.

So it's either we have been duped to believed that the fight is happening, and they even have a date to boot. Or it's not, they are just putting in some works to keep everyone hope alive that they are going to face, but instead it might in the middle of next year, or maybe not.

The odds posted by the sportsbooks can easily be withdrawn if both camps decided to suspend the fight.
But yes, there's a date already so maybe they are just making some issues to make a scene in the boxing community.
After all, a controversy is always good to promote a fight, and this fight in particular is already a big one.
They are seeing how this one will attract from the boxing fans, and for me, this match is one of the anticipated boxing fights in the last few months of this year.

it's anticipated but long been delayed because of something behind that keeps both fighter's camp not to sign the deal.

Not sure if what kind of negotiations are still on progress, but yes with the set dates and bookies already add the fight in the betting list.

They can easily cancel the bet and bring all the money back to the early bettors in-case the fight got cancelled to whatever reason.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 02, 2022, 04:40:54 PM
With a proper diet and enough time of preparation, moving to another weight division is not hard for this monster.
That's true. They have months to prepare for the fight, it's sufficient to adjust their body and train. It would be a bit different for what Inoue used to but I think it's not hard for him to adjust just incase.

It's too early to talk on that, I think moving up is easier than going down in weight, and besides, Inoue has the power and speed, that's enough to still make him a fighter to be scared of once he moves up. After this fight, if he wins, I think that's gonna be his next move, so let's just wait and see.

It's part of his possible plans, but maybe he also sees more money from this division and he's good at maintaining his weight
so we never know what's the real score is in terms of moving up.

Just how you see it, too early for discussing that and there's always a balancing thing to make a decision, he might be thinking
about it, but for now, he's focusing on winning all the belts.

We will see any update for sure if there's a move coming from Inoue's camp, but for now it will be more on this upcoming fight.

I think, ETH is worth it to investing in. The reason is simple, because this coin has less inflation effect than others.

As with liquidity, these two tokens are quick and easy when you sell. Yeah, Ethereum is a smart investment choice, especially for those who are just starting out in the cryptocurrency market.

It's a smart investment if you know what you are doing. You provide your reason and there are many opinions about
investing to a certain asset.

The best thing here is you know what the team is planning and how progress will take place, both old and new coins
have an equal chance to grow only depending on how the community support the coin.

Find the best project that fits to your attitude when investing your money.
1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 01, 2022, 01:02:12 AM

It's just a rumor so basically that was made up and that's why we don't see any news about it.

Maybe fans or someone who wanted him to leave his former team who created that.

Quote
If you just heard or read a rumor, always don't expect it to be real but I do agree that there should be a change for where Clarkson is. Lakers is out of the option as they have no space for him.

Lakers already signed Dennis for much cheaper contract, enough addition for their offense. Maybe Clarkson is out of any trade talks.

Quote
Bucks would be like one of the best for him but he sure got a lot of contribution to Jazz and will the management willing to let him go?

And who's going to be traded for him that may attract Jazz to let him go, they are in a rebuilding so future draft maybe is what they are aiming.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 30, 2022, 05:36:21 PM

WBC and WBO super bantamweight Champion Stephen Fulton has shown interest in fighting the Bantamweight King Naoya Inoue if possible or if the latter moved up to 122lb. But if that didn't happen, Fulton can fight Murodjon Akhmadaliev instead to unify the Super Bantamweight title.

Just as I thought that the Champions in that division are waiting for Naoya Inoue. I think Inoue can crash these guys at the Super Bantamweight but of course, he just needs to fully prepare for that and don't rush everything.

The way I looked at Inoue, he is overqualified already to compete in the Super Bantamweight. Who's with me or against my idea? Smiley

I'm with you for sure. Inoue is overqualified from his current division if, in case, after this fight against Butler if he wins and collects all the belt
he can move up and challenge Fulton.

And like what you have said, he needs to be fully equipped and prepared before switching to another division. He should learn from what
happen with Canelo after Bivol beat him on Bivol's division.

It's good if ever Inoue decides to climb another division, and the Champ is willing to accept any challenge for the title belt.
1579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 30, 2022, 05:18:35 PM
.....

Any news on Jordan Clarkson though? I thought he is on the trading block after the Jazzz let go of Mitchell and they are rebuilding from ground up.
I only read about the interest from the Bucks and the potential return to the Lakers but I really have no idea to be honest. Maybe the Jazz will just offer him an extension so they could still have someone that will help them to compete and not plunge to the bottom of the table.

I think the Lakers are pretty full at the PG position and seem to be sticking with Westbrook. I was under the impression that Clarkson would have been the piece in any deal to get the Lakers picks and take Russ’ contract. Russell said today that he wants to go for the MVP this year, so maybe he’s feeling better this year… I’m not so sure MVP is in the cards for him ever again.

Yes, Lakers are quite packed already and it's safe to say that they are now on the table drawing some plans for the coming season and thinking what to do to their roster that is full of PG. At first I know they considering to get Clarkson but the Jazz is taking their time to choose the right package because the future of the franchise depends on it. Also, it seems that Clarkson trade have cooled down recently, maybe there's a sudden change of heart.

For Westbrook, he need to do the talk instead of making some statements that will put him in the spotlight if in case he'll mess up again. He needed to forget first that he's not the main alpha because his main role is to support the duo and make an opening for them.

He created the noise, and he should work on it. We never know why he makes such a statement,, but it's a good motivation to find
his old self, don't quote me on this, but all players need motivation to start firing up.

With a kind of challenges and criticism, he might find a way to improve his performance and shut up the bad publicities against him,
it's a top challenge but still doable if he will play smart.

Or, it's just simply saying that he wanted to be the main guy again, and it's a sign of moving out from the lakers organization.
1580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 30, 2022, 06:36:49 AM

Bivol didn't got his money until now? That's harsh! The government should stop interfering from the activities in the sports industry because the people are trying to make a living while putting their lives at stake, Bivol shouldn't be an exemption even if he's a Russian boxer. Unfortunately, I think Bivol will likely receive his paycheck from that fight when the war cools down because until now there's still some conflict going on in Eastern Ukraine. I guess that's exactly the reason why the Bivol-Ramirez fight will take place in the Middle East.

They really need to stay out of it and let the Boxer enjoy his earnings but since huge money is involved, they won't let him slide with it. It's really hard when it comes to money because everyone seems interested in it and they want to get some of it. Poor guy, they should fix everything and don't let it be like that again before the fight because, for the boxers, chances like this are rare because they only fight a few times in a year and sometimes they don't get the same high payments before simply because they're fighting different opponents most of the time.

Maybe the US authorities wanted Bivol's purse paid in tranches. But I still believe that Bivol will get paid without deductions. And Eddie Hearn can help him with it. I'm also glad that this fight venue is in the United Arab Emirates. It will be neutral and Eddie Hearn actually has more influence in the Middle East than Zurdo and his promoter Oscar Dela Hoya. I'm not sure if Hearns and Dela Hoya are already on good terms after the Canelo drama earlier but in the fight conference I only saw Golden Boy Promotions president Eric Gomez who represented Zurdo while Hearn was there for Bivol.

He should get it without any deductions, not sure if still part of the law in regard to their punishment with Russia
but like wise he should get everything.

United Arab is a neutral place for both fighters and the money that possible to flow is also decent, promoters and
handlers know where to find money it's part of scouting.

We will see these two fighters to showcase their talents and only one will declared to be a winner unless it will be
