1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: August 03, 2022, 01:59:25 AM
Impressive to see that some other government around the world uses the same tactics as the government where I am located from several years now and from where bad or good it be I don't want to get moving again,I have created my legacy here so I am OK.The fact that the government takes a slice of every business is the same as where I live.In fact they were so massively involved in making gambling prohibited offline or online favoring clearly the brother of the Prime minister as only his website can be accessed online without VPN,all other websites that have the word "bet" in their domain are totally closed.Same with offline casinos, only the two big ones Regency and Grand are open, every body else was shut down. The two big ones are owned by deputy parliamentarians, they have big shares in them that is why they are open.

Corruption is the same all over the world. Somewhere it is allowed to grow and somewhere not. Any decision to have the state control something increases the possibility of corruption, so what is discussed in this thread has a simple answer: the government should not own any business. If this happens in a democratic country, then the abuses will be small (but they will definitely be), and if in a non-democratic country, then everything will end up with either the dictator directly or his relatives owning the business.

Very close and that's reality, both in democratic and non-democratic country, corruptions are present. The control of the government over

to any business related ownership will always have stain of possible act of corruptions, even in some portion of it can really help to raise good amount

of money for the government, but we can't deny the fact that abuse from people behind will always remain.
1782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: August 02, 2022, 03:12:38 PM
People are in a hurry to make gain  but they forget the thing that you can win if you have patience. If you are in greed of making profit then you will absolutely loss your own money. Be patience and wait for the right time so in this way you will be a successful trader. Greed is not a good thing and it will make you loser and because of this greed you cannot make profit in trading.

Yeah a lot of new people who enter the crypto market only want quick rich or quick profit so they didn't have the patience that is needed in the market. Those people should learn from their experience when they lose their money when it comes because of their greediness. Learn together with your friend and always support each other so one of you won't fall into greediness because of lack of mentality.

Correct. Having someone who can work with you side by side will allow you to find good success in this kind of business.

It's not easy since inside you there's really a kind greed that will try to dominate you, but if you have someone who can give you advice and

work with you, you'll be able to overcome the greed and you'll be able to adjust in whatever direction you needed to adjust.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 02, 2022, 01:36:00 PM

They relied with adjustments too. Somehow the Boston Celtics found a way to break that play even if they are using big men like Horford and Williams III.
But, the same was done by Warriors with adjustments that is way better than what Boston did. I must say this, Steve Kerr is a hell of a coach, he must've focused on what Phil Jackson was doing way back he was a Bulls player and then some added wisdom from Coach Pop while he stayed with the Spurs.
He is a product of successful and intelligent coaches although he is a bench player, I guess that's what made him better because he see everything in a wider perspective.
Observing how the two top coaches in this league give him enough idea on how to execute those plays. He just keep improving

how the triangle works and how players will move and rotate to see the openings, a kind of adjustments that each player needs to

work on their own. Nothing to question about how good and tough coach Kerr and how he handles the entire Warriors Squad, the core

and all those role players from the first champion that he had as a coach up to last season.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 01, 2022, 05:52:18 PM
[...] Look at Stephen Curry, if he is not good at 3-point shooting, he will not become a great player, [...]

It seems you forget that Steph has great talents aside from shooting. He has great handles, can drive to the basket, and is a great facilitator. True that his shooting range is what makes him unique but that is not the only reason why he is successful. It is the combination of all his skills including his basketball IQ, handles, and great shooting range.

I agree with this a lot. Stephen Curry shouldn't be seen just like a player who is very good at three-pointers only. He is nearly like an all-around player actually. He contributes to Warriors by nearly every kind of statistics. In my opinion, Warriors are the luckiest team to have maybe even the best player who is playing professional basketball actively now. When he is out of a game we can clearly see how it affects the team. I know that there are really good talents like Poole who can carry the team in Curry's absence. But Curry is just something else.  Grin

Steph is a total complete package, but I admire his IQ a lot. He's a good shooter, but it didn't end there. He can attack the basket

and he can also pass the ball to the open man. His killing edge might be his 3 point shooting skills, but aside from that, we all witness

how good he was in adjusting from each type of defense that being designed for him. He's there to take the challenge, and he's really

successful doing all the best that he has.
1785  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 01, 2022, 05:01:21 PM
Balak ko bumili ng isang team, not for earning purposes but just like to treat it like any other games na nilalaro ko currently.

I know how much it cost now to build a decent team? Or kahit di na build basta iyong meta team sa ngayon?

I know it's about strategy but just want to take advantage of low cost Axie teams today unlike before na di abot-kamay ang presyo.
Casual or competitive ka?

If Casual ka, more or less 1500-2000 or kahit 2500 makakabuo ka na ng decent team.

1786  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 01, 2022, 03:06:14 PM

They've been always active on their Twitter account and its indeed they are posting on about their casino games and not just putting emphasis with their Rollbots. Honestly, im waiting for something new about
promotions and stuff that would be Rollbit will be rolling out.  Smiley

Its been a while since Rollbots did make out some noise and lots of gamblers had benefited out into it actual utility or into those people who had considered on making some investment
even though its not really something that is cheap.

Even it's not cheap there are investors who understand the full potential of this investment and they really earn a lot after participating.

Something that worth to risk your money right? Now, it's  a question on how long you are willing to hold, whatever path those early takers

will go they are still in the profitable side and they will continue to enjoy what Rollbit did with their Rollbots.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 01, 2022, 10:39:07 AM
Basketball in the 70's and 80's was a different game then what it is today. I'm sure winning 8 championships in a row is tough no matter what era we are talking but the game has evolved so much since then it will be a hard record to match.

It is indeed. 70's,80's,90's,2000's, and 2010's are a completely different era. And yeah basketball since has evolved.
I also have to agree that winning a championship then and now where never too easy.
I have never witnessed the 80's era, but I did have a glimpsed of the 90's and I can say this is the era where athletic players inspired by Jordan has began and Kobe was his product. While the late 2000's was where bigger, faster, and strong players where developed the likes of LeBron build. While the late 2010's was changed by Steph Curry's spectacular 3s.

90's basketball is very physical, now it has evolved because a team who have great 3-point shooters will likely win the championship. Look at Stephen Curry, if he is not good at 3-point shooting, he will not become a great player, and also now, big men are already shooting 3's, we have good 3-point shooters like Jokic which is a good example.

NBA evolve and adopt the euro style basketball game, where shooters are everywhere. Like what you mentioned, big players are now also

focusing on shooting outside unlike before, where they are more dominant inside. I used to remember the rivalries of Hakeem, Patrick and Shaq

they are all inside the paint and their presence is very impacting, unlike now, the like of Giannis, KD and LeBron, where a combination was

made.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins achieve goals I set? on: August 01, 2022, 10:32:08 AM
it's very important to do an analysis before joining the project,
other than that by doing the analysis it can help and know what to do,
success or not it all depends on ourselves
Yes, every wise and serious investors do always do that. If you do that then you will find yourself investing on the proper coins only and not those who are considered to be a junk. I don't know why there are people who chose to invest on a junk coin. Did they really believe on that old saying that there can be treasures on them?

In real life, maybe but not in the world of cryptos as everything here works differently. Only those greedy coin developers are going to be happy if you keep feeding them. I think that all wants to be successful but unfortunately not all are doing it the proper way, that is why there are still some who are unsuccessful.

Maybe! or they are trying to ride as there are always a good chance that they will be able to take the opportunities gaining huge amount

of money out from those junk assets, it's just a matter of luck and timing. Luck in terms of maybe the developers will bring good amount of

support money to hype the coin and timing if an investor will manage to place their entry from the dip and once plumped take place they

can sell it in a higher value.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 30, 2022, 06:42:41 AM
Look, I have to disagree with you only on the part where you say that players tend to stop playing when they reach their loss limit, I believe that many players unfortunately tend to bet more and more as they lose in order to try to cover their losses.

Yes, this is always the case that happened to the majority of gamblers.

Setting up a budget doesn't really work since they are just tempting themselves to gamble more.

If they win, they will still continue to gamble since they are lucky. If they lose, they will still continue to gamble to recover their recent losses. Whatever the result of their gambling session, regardless of the situation, whether they winning or losing, they will still continue to gamble as their adrenaline tells them to do so.

Setting up a budget per session is not an effective way to minimize loss. It's better to force ourselves to have self-discipline when to stop.

Enforcing yourself with self-discipline is very important, just ow you describe both scenarios either win or lose the adrenaline still

active inside a gambler mind, without good discipline you are unable to quit and stop your sessions, unlike with discipline you can

quit and continue to enjoy, either you win or you lose the enjoyment inside you will stay.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: July 30, 2022, 06:32:22 AM
Most people are taking advantage to buy really low and some are just getting in and out I think how you manage your finance is left to you Now I will really hate all the scenario of bull and bear market people are vibing about but seriously I now have learn to just deal with these situations and I think the mindset of those things are actually affecting this market and making potential project not see the light of the day

If we focus on long -term hold, then buy better, we can get 1 BNB at a price of 50% cheaper than the end of 2021, and the 2022 market trend seems to be difficult to skyrocket like 2021, but if we make the daily trading Profit target is 10% and if it has been met then immediately sell and do not wait too long.

It will depend on how you look at the market and how you assess the full potential of your investment. It's not easy, but you know

how to work with both the trend and market movement, you can choose between buy and sell timing. Long or short will rely on how

you will anticipate the next market run and what kind of asset to hold.
1791  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: July 30, 2022, 01:52:55 AM

1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 30, 2022, 01:03:40 AM
The Nets would have be the winner such trade, imho.

But still, they declined. Brooklyn Nets wants more.

They already got some good offers from other teams and still ended up declining those offers. The longer they keep on waiting for a good offer might result in not receiving good offers instead in the next few days, weeks, or months.

But the good thing about this trade drama with Kevin Durant?

Some players now know that they are willing to be given up by their respective teams even how good and loyal they are.

Indeed! Even how harder you play alongside with the system, eventually you'll be named as one of the candidate to be traded out,

such annoying reality that there's no sure thing inside this league. Everything is part of the business and as a player you are an asset

that can be traded to get a deal even you don't like being moved away. Nets still asking for more or maybe they are not really willing

to set him free and they are just playing Durant's demand being traded out.
1793  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: July 29, 2022, 04:56:57 AM

1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 29, 2022, 04:41:00 AM

So he knows where his spot is, if he is going to be taken by any teams in the NBA, much more with Warriors, it will be a privilege to say at least for him. Just don't jinx the Warriors though, Lol.

Moving to GSW might give him a better chance in winning a ring, I agree that after signing with Portland way back, he already accepted

his new role, he already surrender that alpha thing and a ball hugger mindset. He can adjust and play alongside with anyone now. We

witness how he adjusts to being a role player now. He just need to adjust to his defense since young stars are really doing a damage

when they see good advantage with the matchup. Melo needs to be willing to hear loud scream with Green! Cool
1795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 28, 2022, 04:41:52 PM
We have to open their minds that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are high risk investments, I often talk about bitcoin with friends or family, most of them don't care or are not interested, but when I get big profits then they follow by investing or trading cryptocurrencies, but I always say that all risks must be prepared and don't blame me if lose.

The first impression coming from those who don't understand this investment is the thinking that it's just a scam,

but when they see someone earn a lot from this business, they are in such a hurry to join and invest, not realizing that aside

from the profits there's also risk in losing their money. If you will recommend better to let them know that despite of good potential,

if they failed to join in the right time, they can lose a portion of their investment to the point that they can lose everything

so better to invest with knowledge before taking the ride.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2022, 03:30:25 PM
So all of a sudden, Draymond Green becomes the center of attention the last few days. Now there's more. He wants a 4-year max contract extension. This means he will be paid $164 million for the next 5 years or around $33 million per year. His current contract would be $25.8 million for the next season and a player option worth $28.5 million in the following season. Draymond is too full of himself. Although he is a very important piece of the team, he is starting to decline with his low stats performance in the last season.

And Draymond also mentioned that he is willing to explore offers from other teams should the Warriors' management not be interested in a max contract extension. Do you guys think Draymond is worth that max extension? His current stats are not even worth his current contract if I were to say, but I got it, the management do not want to break the team's core.

Due to their good chemistry, I think he deserves to have a max contract because he is a big part of the success of the Warriors. Though his performance has declined there are some games that he really contributes big to win. It's not only about the stats IMO, it's more about the impact in the team, and we cannot deny that without Draymond, the Warriors defense will struggle.

Unlike with the impact of splash bro, Personally I'll rather choose to give the max contract to Wiggins than him, though it's my opinion and

I'm sure there are many other thoughts about him. He earned a lot of attentions nowadays and with his stupidity and arrogance, it might be very

effective in bringing more engagements to whatever he does. For me, He's a very talkative version of Dennis Rodman, hahaha Grin
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 28, 2022, 02:40:37 PM
Snip

Will it be the same as a sober guy or the one who stopped smoking?
Because gambling will always be there, unlike for someone who stopped smoking cigarettes, after a year or 2 they don't like the smell of that smoke anymore, it makes them puke. I know from experience.
But gambling is different, when you watch sports it can trigger the desire to bet for your favorite team and most pay-per-view now shows advertisements for gambling like Draft Kings in NBA. Then, even the commentators are talking about how much the odds are for over and under total score.

I think they are a bit similar.

As long as you're exposed to the thing, there will probably be some kind of pull to do it.

For example, if the ex alcoholic goes to a bar, then he will probably have a beer.

The same with the gambler, if he watches a match, then he will probably will end up gambling on it.

I feel like removing yourself from the situation is probably the best way to not do anything addictive in the first place.

Prevention is better than cure, right? That's applies to this kind of situation if you wanted to stay away from this kind of activities

you better not to go or even come near to any kind of activities. It's better to find other ways of entertaining yourself and

change the tempo in order to fully quit away from this kind of vices. It depends on your own take and it's also on your own

responsibilities and convictions.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 28, 2022, 10:23:24 AM
Spence is not an ordinary boxer, they have almost the same ranking, so he will not take it easy and will make sure he has some strategy that Spence could not counter.

On the other hand, expect Crawford to have some prepared strategies to counter Spence too.

Again, as I mentioned, it's about the good timing to execute their respective strategies. If successfully executed, that's a big advantage already as it will take a heavy toll on their opponent. And if one of them will continue to land a perfect blow, that will result in a possible KO win at either of them.

But for me, since they are currently the no. 1 and 2 at the Welterweight division right now, I'm expecting that they won't just play defense all throughout and care for the points per round. I want to see them challenging each other in close combat while saying "I'm the strongest!".

Indeed! That is why this is the most anticipated fight for years and the fight will be sold out in just a mere hour or minutes after it is published. I'm also siding with Crawford on this fight, I mean, he won't be this determined to get with Spence if he knew that his capabilities won't amount if he will fight Spence. The thing that he's taking all the effort to make the fight happen is a sign that he got this fight before his age catches up with him.

It will be a call now for Spence not to find any reason to avoid this possible fight. Both fighters are expected to showcase their best

and empress the fans, it will be relying now on how the training and conditioning trainers to guide both fighters, reviewing all the previous

fights that the opponents have and plan a good strategy to counter and to find the best timing to attack.

The boxing industry is waiting now on how both camps will agree and sign the contract.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 27, 2022, 05:54:09 PM
Whale controlling the prices is very old and lame thing now. The p/m market depth of bitcoin and eth is highly escalated and there is no way one can move the prices even with billions of dollars. Yes maybe sometimes when institutional investment firms making sells in multiple billion dollars then it could be possibility but this can not be done over and over again just to make roller coster like this! The current market is truly hampered with various factors that are on going throughout the world. I would barely count whales and their black magics these days.

It's a world concern regarding to the financial state of each investment industry. There are many factors that affect the entire

economy, crypto is just another venue, and it's not exempted with how the market moves. Maybe whales can move the market occasionally

but it won't take that long, there are many competitions now inside this industry and whales know that one mistake will cause them huge

losses.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: July 27, 2022, 04:49:38 PM
I'm surprised the majority of the poll participants are actually voting on GGG to win this rematch. There's 70% of them who think that GGG will prevail in this fight. And there's only 26.7% who think that it is going to be Canelo Alvarez who will win this fight. This is the opposite of what the odds are suggesting in betting platforms with Canelo having only 1.20 and Golovkin having a very high one with 4.10. This GGG odds must be very attractive to the majority of those who joined the poll.

@ 4.10 that's going to attract more gamblers and fans to bring out decent amount of money to bet for GGG, a lot of people still believe

that even GGG is no longer on his prime, he can still make a big damage if Canelo will  be careless during the fight, and with that sweet odd

they are willing to spare and risk some amount of their money to favor GGG. Though bookies have other way of weighting the potential

outcome and continue to place Canelo as the favorite.
