He really needs a huge adjustments for his skills to somehow blend well with LeBron and AD's style of play.
Westbrook had enough time to blend with Lebron and AD, but did we see that last season? The answer is no, so WB have another season to finally test if he can really blend, after this if he still fails, I don't know what will happen. But the Lakers still decided to keep him, there's nothing we can do on that but to criticize him and the management if WB is still inconsistent or the same as last season. Under a new coach, we are expecting that he would change the system and improve it, it also means that Wesbrook will improve to see the team improve. Aside from improvement, Lakers needs to be a championship team as that's what people are expecting on them. I heard before that Zurdo is 6'3 just like the heavyweight unified champion Usyk. He was a big super-middleweight and he doesn't even have a slim body which is the issue with taller fighters. Bivol meanwhile is a small light-heavyweight at 6'0. Very interesting if we really look at this height campaigning at LHW, maybe it's possible for him to move up to CW with that height and bone density. Damn, all of these Westbrook rumors aren't that great at all. Westbrook is far from becoming a shooter but we don't know what's on the mind of this coach. It's a wrong idea, that experiment will fail for sure. If i were Lomachenko, from war-braced Ukraine, lost the a fight that would have unified the belts and might probably get a rematch with Lopez, to fix the loss, I would fight Jamaine Ortiz with all I got. If AD avoids any major injury this season, I believe the Lakers could successfully run this roster again next season.
That's right, actually even if Westbrook were struggling last season but as long as AD were healthy, most likely Lakers will still have a shot in the NBA finals. With Lebron and AD leading the team, we've seen that before already when they won a championship. Next season is going to be the last chance of this tamdem I believe, if they will still fail, most likely a trade is gonna happen. The question right now is what are the chances that AD will not get injured? Because after the title that he got in the Bubble, he has been very inconsistent and unreliable because of injuries. He's very fragile that you can't rely on him. I'll just hope for him to be healthy all throughout the season and in the playoffs but will not be surprised if he will get injured because it is what is happening to him for the last 2 seasons. The chances of the Lakers winning a title will be higher if AD will not get injured and Westbrook will improve and adjust. I believe that Lebron can still win a title with the Lakers. Just give him good teammates that will help him. I agree that this upcoming season will be the last chance not only for AD but also for Westbrook and if they still fail then they will be traded. But that always has been a problem with AD ever since he came to the league. He is very talented but his availability is limited because of injury. Maybe there is something wrong with his physical training or something, but they have to do something about it. He is still very young so he should not be easily injured like this. Westbrook can have chemistry with AD and Lebron if they can play together more and that all relies on AD not getting injured. I also observe that unlike LeBron, who's very concern with his physical condition, maybe AD needs to work it out for him to be more useful in this upcoming season. They can work together if they will play longer, but I also the management needs to work with the role players, having a deeper bench with lots of talents can give good time for your star to rest and have enough breathing.
