The good thing is that they got Iggy at the tail end of his career, that's why he was able to play that well and become a finals MVP and if I'm not mistaken the win started the franchise to become what is is right now, dominating the league with Steph.

So just right for the Warriors organization recognizing what he did and yes he can mentor the young members, those who will follow the footsteps and continue their dominance.
They got him for cheap and yet he was the Finals MVP. I think that's worth every penny to sign him again like an appreciation gesture for doing a great job at both their offense and defense. He doesn't even need to play anymore just like how Dirk Nowitzki was guiding new players in the Mavs while he still has a contract.
I sure think this will be the last year of his career. I see him having a job somewhere in ESPN or TNT after this run.

Good point! GSW signed him with a cheap contract and yet he really performed well and win the finals MVP.
with this new contract, even he won't need to be inside the court most of the time the gesture of appreciating him and keep him after he
has been traded once is a good way of saying thank you for his services and contribution to the entire organization.

I like that idea seeing him beside other former stars commenting on how the players and the teams are performing. Just hope
He's not as a shy type of person, though not like as broad as Draymond was. Roll Eyes

1603  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: September 23, 2022, 11:19:07 PM

Jazz yung iooffer nilang kapalit.

1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 23, 2022, 10:51:10 AM
I think I like the idea though of the winner getting the bigger slice on the rematch. And I think it will favor Crawford to some extend, yes he will be getting like 40%, like what we have been saying. But if he won the first fight and the rematch clause was automatically activated, then it will be the other way now. Crawford getting at least the 60% now, the biggest purse. Although again, if this for us is very easy to understand, then why not their legal counsel translate it in paper so that they can sign it right away.

Crawford for now is not caring about his slice. He just wanted to push the fight and will be after that whole thing after
the first match takes place. If he wins, then expect a much better slice and much bigger demands.

It will be great for the boxing community once the final date for the upcoming fight will be announced as it's really
been waited a long time ago.

The delays are keeping the fans hanging in the air, still waiting for any result of the negotiations coming from both
camps.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 23, 2022, 10:32:28 AM
Why did nobody said Wolves?
They've been talked about when the trade happened. Go back a few pages to read the discussion.

Quote
I mean nobody expects them to be champions this year for sure, but they got Gobert and he is a good player and that improved Wolves a lot. It gives KAT to actually be power forward as well which he could be very good for and could cook smaller defenders down there,
I'm not sure about your point here. Why do you expect a Guard or a smaller person to defend him? You know for sure that the game has evolved and even the bigs would go out of the paint to guard. Expect another power forward to be put up against him.

Quote
...with two giants on the floor at the same time, they could end up with a lot more wins compared to last year.
Yes I also think they are a playoff-bound team next season if no serious injuries would hamper the giant duo.

I think the Timberwolves see themselves as top 4 in the west.  The west is rather weak compared to years past.  I can see the Warriors, Suns and Clippers being better but other than that I can't see anyone competing with them if they stay healthy.  I can see them winning 50 games.  Going deep into the playoffs.

You forget about the reigning MVP in Jokic in Denver. And with a heathy Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. they will be a contender for sure.

And so is the Dallas with Luka, although they lost Jalen Brunson, they are still a good team specially in playoff. This team doesn't choke with Luka around.

Memphis of course with Ja Morant, they and the Warriors seems to be building a rivalry.

And maybe we can see some surprise too with the Lakers, so the West is not that weak, remember that they are the conference defending champion.

West is full of super team in my opinion, though, it will be the game system that the Wolves will develop with their new
improve lineup, they show some good run last season and fans expect them to do more.

If they can utilize the twin-towers that might be a big edge for them, the last one we have seen was the Spurs combo
with Robinson and Duncan.

Looking forward to see quality game from KAT and Gobert as the interior might be stronger, both the defense and their
offensive presence.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 22, 2022, 05:33:08 PM
I am just a bit sad at why it should be Lauri Markkanen that was traded but I guess the Jazz likes him because he is young and will be good for their rebuilding strategy.

They need to sacrifice him because they got a big fish, with Mitchell leading the team, there's a big chance this team will be a contender in the East, so hopefully our expectation will happen so Mitchell also at the same time can prove to the haters that he is not the problem on the Jazz.

He doesn't have option since Jazz wanted him during this trade and Cavs really wanted to have Mitchell prioritizing
him over a young gun might be the basis of this trade.

With a healthy Mitchell, the chance of Cavs to the playoff is much better. They have a good run last season but
due to injuries Cavs fail short and now with Mitchell it's really a good reinforcement.

It will be the chemistries among the stars and role players that really needed to establish for them to make
their way and win more games.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 22, 2022, 05:16:12 PM

It will be nicer if this fight will not remain as a hype, I mean, it should come into reality so fans will stop speculating anymore, some are positive while some are already negative about the chance fo this fight happening.

No doubt and indeed it will be nicer if we all got updates from the promoters so fans will start the countdown
of days or to book this, fight and be placed on their calendars.

Till there's no final update regarding to any signing of contracts, there would be a lot of speculation coming from
the fans and all those who really wanted this to happen.

For now, everything will remain rumors or speculation and everyone is free to think if this fight will take place
or some excuse will show up for this fight not to happen.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 22, 2022, 12:41:59 PM
The way PBC is treating Crawford, I don't they will be able to sign him if he beats Spence except for a 1 or 2 fights deal that would guarantee a title shot against undisputed super middleweight champion Jermell Charlo. After that, I think he is headed to DAZN.

As a knowledgeable in boxing, do you think that regardless of who will win on this match between Spence and Crawford, they will face Jermell Charlo next at the super middleweight?

Or a rematch is bound to happen first?

I really like that this fight between Spence and Crawford should happen now to now end the issues of who's the best in the Welterweight and finally will move on to their next plan.

There is a high chance that a rematch is bound to happen first regardless of the result, I don't think that Spence or Crawford will just move-on without having a second bout to try and settle their scores. Also, a rematch clause was stated and that's expected as this is an undisputed fight and a measurement on who's really the best boxer in the welterweight division.

I also will go with this speculation, if there is a rematch clause, then it's definitely bound to happen. But I guess it's more of the money that they will get on the rematch and so obviously, they will go for it.

154 lbs can wait for this two, their rematch will be more lucrative for least say a Charlo fight. Charlo is good no doubt, but it could sell less as compare to Crawford vs Spence II.

Rematch then a trilogy, that's what I'm seeing if the fight will be close as it's easy to manipulate using the judges. The first fight is very important to be entertaining, just like the fight between Canelo and GGG, people wants to see a Trilogy, it's hyped and they made a lot of money although the result is boring.

More money is good for business. The belts will be the stake, but money will speak loudly and both camps know how big
it was in case trilogy will be supported by all the fans.

It will be nice to keep seeing the hype and even the final date still not being announced, the huge crowd already expecting
how great both of these champs will perform.

We will see the first match and how fans will enjoy it will be the big factor to collect a huge amount of money once rematch
happens.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 22, 2022, 11:41:52 AM
That 4 year deal was already as a good as what he wants to make. Well, he probably have that proud issue then and thought that many teams would like to get him.

He thinks that he is more valuable than a 4-year $84 Million. Sometimes there are players who think they are at the point of their very best performance. Not wrong at all but at least he was able to open his eyes to reality. That deal is already good but since he believes other teams will offer him a $100M deal, that's not what happened.

Not late though. Schroder can show what he got on this season and see if he will be eligible for a much decent contract later on.

Yes, he is still very young, yeah, be become a sensation when he turn that huge contract and then decided to play at Celtics with just 1 year contract and obviously less money.

So it's time for him to show his talent once again with Los Angeles, and maybe they will offer him some better options next year.

Anyone heard of Jae Crowder wanted to be traded by Phoenix suns? it just pop up on my feed but I haven't read the story yet.

Another chance was given for Dennis. It's his game this upcoming season that will bring him
to get a ticket for better compensations. That past mistakes need to be forgotten and move
forward to showcase his talent.

It's his chance to prove something that he was worth if he managed to impress the Lakers
management or if ever, he impresses any teams with his game, the chance is high since he
was given another opportunity to show up and play in front of the fans.

Quote
Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver announced in a statement Wednesday morning that he has started the process to sell his stake in both the Suns and the Phoenix Mercury. This move comes after Sarver was suspended for a year and fined $10 million by the NBA following the completion of an investigation into his inappropriate workplace misconduct.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/suns-mercury-owner-robert-sarver-announces-he-is-starting-process-to-sell-both-franchises/

Wow, LA Clippers have a huge chance to be a champion this season, as long as John Wall will be healthy and he will still perform the way he used to when he was still with the Wizards, I think LA Clippers can make it to the NBA finals. I know we have the Warriors here, but I'm now rooting for a new team that is a great contender.
Hopefully, they stay healthy. I wonder if they will put John Wall into load management like they are doing with Kawhi. Wall is also prone to injury, so if they load manage him, they can prevent some serious injury. They are great team in paper, hopefully they can convert it in the court.

They can manage him for sure as the Clippers is a good team, and even their 2nd unit is very competitive, remember when Paul George was injured? No PG and Kawhi and yet the Clippers still remained competitive. I like the way they play as a team, to be honest, they are really good, and they'll get better once they are fully healthy.

I like to see how Wall will contribute playing alongside with PG and Kawhi, it will be a challenge in terms of chemistries.
All three stars are known to be a legit scorer and they love to dribble the ball and create their own offensive attacks.

It will be more on how the system and the rotations together with all the role players who will be playing with them.

They are indeed a competitive squad this upcoming season hope they will keep the system that involves everyone.
1612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: September 21, 2022, 10:48:32 AM
The wider Bitcoin is accepted, the easier it is supposed to buy it. So I think time will come when buying Bitcoin becomes a lot easier. In Bitcoin's earliest year, it was almost impossible to acquire it. You have to mine it yourself. And then little by little as Bitcoin gets more and more accepted, sellers and exchanges became abound. Today, you can even do it with your cards and paypal or through an ATM and other payment options. As soon as Bitcoin becomes more established as a payment option, access would even get easier.

The technology is not stopping to upgrade so eventually we might see more ways in buying and using Bitcoin
I agree with what you have said, we will see more after some time.

The timing for buying and storing for is good and once more people got that interest to use or to invest with
this crypto asset, we will see more possible to acquire this coin.

Likewise, the success depends on the adoptions that will happen in the future, we really can't conclude
but adoption wise, there's a big chance.

Yes ofcourse, nobody can accurately predict the outcome of an even going to happen in future especially in gambling.
So even if we lose the bet it's still one of the outcomes that had happened and we should know that fact.
Moving on from a loss is definitely a skill that not everyone has. Many people chase the losses and end up losing more.
Moving on from it and planning out your next move is the strategy that everyone should focus on.

There's no such thing as perfect gambling so we can't expect consistent winning because no matter what strategy we may apply, the result will always be unpredictable. For me, chasing our losses will only lead to more losses so accepting failure and moving forward will be the best step that we can do to reach our target profit. Gambling is a challenging and exciting journey if we'll enjoy it.

Very important to have when you are involved in gambling is to know how to accept. It's true that chasing your losses
can lead you to lose more than what you really intend to use.

There are many stories like this where a gambler is just having some fun and when experience defeat, they are
aggressive to recover back by trying to add more to their bankroll.

It applies even you already done with doing your research and think that value bet will allow you have good
edge but if happen that you lose, it's better to forget about it and move forward.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 21, 2022, 08:17:12 AM
We don't know what happened in the negotiation, because they kept most of the details the most important thing now is the fight will finally push through, the Canelo - GGG did not live up to our expectations I'm sure this fight will, and what a way to set the date, at the last quarter of the year if there's enough action, drama and it lives up to the hype then this fight could possibly be one of the candidates for the fight of the year.

After this secret conversation, I hope the final decision will now be officially signed.

We are waiting for this fight for several months. They should treat the boxing community with a good news. Smiley

A well-deserve treats coming from both camps, by announcing the dates it will save the fans time and money to allocate for this fight.

I'm pretty sure that there are lots of fans who really wanted to see these two champs inside the ring fighting.

No doubt it can be a fight of the year, both are known to be undefeated and the belts that in stake, something that a fighter would
really try everything to win.

But until and unless an agreement is reached, this will only remain to be a dream match in the sport of boxing. And the final agreement isn't just something that even both fighters verbally agree to. It will have to be in the form of contract signing. Until a contract is agreed to by affixing their signatures, nothing is final. So dates, venues, purse-split, etc don't mean anything if in the end either one of them won't sign. But I hope both of their camps would also take into consideration the strong demand of the boxing fans. And that's to make this fight happen.
Yes and so we shouldn't be get as excited though, there are still a lot of things that the camps need to settle in writing. And so there is no still sign contract, everything that the media has reported, nothing concrete about this fight.

They have the date of Nov 19 if I'm not mistaken, but it can be taken by anyone if they don't reach an agreement as early as November as there will be no time left to prepare.

There were two tentative dates that came out, one is November 12 and the other is November 19. Las Vegas was also the rumored venue. But again, no signed contract no fight taking place. Although there seems to be no insurmountable obstacle that is hindering the fight from happening, there must still be certain details that are ironed out until now.

So far, I don't think the fight will take place in November. September is about to end. Both fighters will need more than 2 months for all the preparations and neither will formally start training until the contracts are signed.

Both champs need proper trainings though they have that routine but coming to a big fight.
They needed to have enough time for good preparations and to assess what fighting strategy to use.

November might be adjusted unless they already agree behind the door, and they are just making sure all the details
inside the contract are being reviewed well.

For the fans, as long as the fight will take place wherever it is and whenever it is, still a good fight and worth the wait.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: September 21, 2022, 07:04:32 AM
Yes, I think this red will last a long time too. Don't waste money guys, be careful. We are going through a very difficult time right now. The price may be heavy, because this year looks a little different than previous years.

Inflation, geopolitics, and macroeconomic factors greatly affect the growth of the crypto market today but the stock market and other investment instruments are also experiencing similar conditions.
But excessive fear will prevent us from making profits in the future, the right time to invest is when the market is bearish.
The current bearish phase is actually good and healthy for the crypto industry, like natural selection, because it shows good and bad crypto projects.

Bear market reveals many alts that only created for pump and dump, assets that don't have any
real usages and they are suffering a lot in terms of value.

On the other hand, those good projects are giving investors a great chance of buying more and hold for some time.

When the market starts to pump back, the profits are really decent. It's more about how you do your good research and
how you project your target profits.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2022, 08:51:39 AM
I cannot imagine Russell Westbrook's feelings and emotions right now upon knowing that Schroeder his former backup in OKC is the one to start and he is now the backup PG. Although I am not that sure if Westbrook has grown enough to be mature but I still doubt the guy. But if the Lakers cannot send Westbrook out then they will make history. I guess this is the first time in basketball history that a backup PG is paid $47 million for a single season.  Cheesy

If that's part of the plan, then there's nothing Westbrook can do about it.

But yeah, that's $47M and all you have to do is to wait for the coach to call you and replace someone that's already tired
and give them some minutes to rest.

Quote
With San Antonio and Utah losing their superstars, I would expect the Lakers to easily qualify for the playoffs next season. I am also curious if Dallas is becoming stronger next season or weaker.
Something that still we are not sure about, though the chance is better for the Lakers to move forward and not to be eliminated right away.

Quote
They lost Jalen Brunson but maybe Christian Wood and the other players will step up, especially Dinwiddie in the PG position.

Wood's addition might be good, just hoping that unlike with Porzingis he will accept the fact that Luka is the main guy and he's job

is to back him up with all the best that he can provide.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 20, 2022, 08:35:45 AM
Alright, is my understanding is correct here?

If Zurdo Ramirez will win the fight here, is he will be the one that Canelo will now faced?

We still don't know that yet, But as far as Canelo goes, he say he is not willing to face a another Mexican.

Correct me if I'm wrong as it seems it's not sense to have a rematch with Bivol if he will lose here.

Yes, Canelo also says that if Bivol losses in this fight, there will be no rematch for him. And since Canelo already won against GGG, the pressure is on the shoulder of Bivol to win against Ramirez, otherwise there will be no payday for him.

So Canelo might fight someone in 168 lbs, or another 175 lbs I reckon or might be his ambition, go as high as CW and get another belt and seal his legacy as the greatest Mexican with 5 belts.

After winning the fight against GGG, now Canelo has a lot of options, like what you just mentioned,
he can go up and climb to challenge the champion from another division, chances that if Bivol will win
this upcoming match Canelo's camp might negotiate for the rematch.

Cold flowing money that will bring a lot for bivol's pocket this time. If I remember it right, he got much
lesser from their first match.

Coming from this rematch, he might have a better slice or possibly a higher cut since it will be Canelo's camp
that will negotiate for that possible rematch.

^^ I wouldn't call it humiliating to Westbrook though, and he should embrace it. Having someone like Dennis to play guard when he is having a bad night. So at least there will be alternatives as he is solely their point guard last season. So it might be change on him, perhaps coming off the bench. So there will be a lot of experiments on coach Ham, on how he will have to find the perfect fit in this new Lakers.

It's safe to say that Lakers is having a good back up with Dennis playing as the 2nd unit PG, if Westbrook will mess up, then the roster will still not struggle as Dennis is already familiar with Davis and Lebron and their plays as well. I'm expecting that Dennis will be very useful this season, hopefully he will remain healthy all throughout the season.

A good option indeed, Dennis already played with LeBron and AD. He's more familiar with his role no longer difficult on him to make that adjustments.

Knowing LeBron to command the entire squad, I see the value of Dennis in terms of offensive help.

He can shoot both outside and inside, with his capabilities to move and rotate the ball. It will be a wider space
for both LeBron and AD if they will allow Dennis to be their PG. Looking to see if LeBron will also adjust to this kind of game plan.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: September 19, 2022, 02:50:03 PM
If you wanted to earn in a short time altcoins is the best choice for you. Bitcoin is the most valuable coin in crypto but its price is very slow moving and if you wanted to earn on it you need to wait for a very long time with a very big patience. While in altcoins you can earn a very big amount if you can choose the very best altcoins or if you are lucky investing into it.
What is clear is that investing in both Bitcoin or the top altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, and others will be profitable,
actually to invest in both it also requires patience and basically nothing is instant,
with the current conditions I think we need to be extra patient

Yeah, Not only in crypto, regardless of the type of investment, patience is one of the virtues that an investor must have.

Easy money in crypto is a tale of the past.
Today, crypto has matured and become an industry, only those who are serious
and understand crypto and the risks of investing very well can survive and make a profit.

Not good to practice that belief, crypto is no longer a venue where there are more people who
loves to invest with pump and dump project rather than investing with good project that have real usages.

Investment with an alt project might be difficult, but if you know how to deal with your research, the chance is still possible
to pick the right coin to hold.

Keep in mind that volatility might be a good tool to predict the next market movement. It's your call when you already
inside the market.
