The size issue will be their biggest problem. I mean its true that none of these players are at their prime anymore, and not many players would be able to sustain such a longevity anyway. However, even without their prime, if they can all be %100 healthy, they would be a great team. The issue is not that they are not at their prime, the issue is that Westbrook acts like he can shoot, instead of his usual driving, Harden plays absolutely no defense, Kawhi doesn't even play, dude had 50 games last year, no games the year before that and 52-57 games two seasons before that, so he basically doesn't play, and doesn't show up much on playoffs neither, only player that could be trusted there is PG, who still does his best, even if its not enough. So all in all, a clippers with Westbrook, Harden, Kawhi and PG that plays 70+ games each, and plays all playoff games? I would say a title contender easily, even this year beyond their peak, but I bet %100 guarantee that they will not play that many games, most of them will keep on missing games.

They have Zubac as its center who is decent enough and there's also Plumlee. So far the betting odds aren't buying on the current Los Angeles Clippers line-up. This must be the reason that the team has been suffering from injuries for years now and this season makes no difference, especially on the hyper-sensitive Kawhi Leonard. But provided they are all healthy in the coming playoffs, I still put them below the Nuggets, Bucks, and the Suns.

Meanwhile, I am surprised Boston is now the top favorite. I'm still sticking to my old pick which is the defending champion Denver Nuggets.

Spurs winning over Suns last night was quite the surprise right ? Because for me Spurs kinda looks like the less improved team over the season break and I also think they do have a rough journey this season.

Clippers are looking great so far and if Hardens joins them , I think they will do a pretty amazing job this season and maybe who knows , they will reach again a Conference final.

should have cashout when the Suns are not making it. this occurence is getting frequent, the last time it also happened with GSW they almost made it in the 3rd quarter giving fan some hope and then miserably failed in the last quarter.

i walkout the house to smoke and buy something, when i came back i lost. this time, among the 3 bets only clippers won.

And what a big lost for them, I mean everyone is playing good, even Gordon, who we haven't seen for a while to be this aggressive shooting from the outside and getting inside. And then Grayson Allen trying to be Steph with hist long 3 point shoot as well. Everything was falling for them, even Durant has a good shooting night. But as the saying goes, the game is 48 minutes. You can't play just 47 minutes and then collapse on the last minute or so.

This what happen to them and it seems that Durant freezes in the last second. And that steal of Keldon Johnson from Durant, could be one of the plays for the year this early. And the Spurs outscored the Suns in the 4th, 33-19. So it's a miracle in Halloween night.

The determination coming from the young minds of Spurs squad made them to complete the snatch against the Suns, not sure why Suns
didn't call a timeout when Wemby made that followup dunk.

Maybe they don't have a timeout left or maybe since they are still in the lead and they've got the possession, they think that they can just
run the ball and wait for the Spurs to foul them for a possible FT.

That steal by Johnson in the very hands of KD and in front of the refs and the whole Suns crowd, it's something that will be remembered for the
rest of the season for sure.

Honestly, he needs to gain more weight when it comes to fighting for the rebounds because he is not like Shaq in his rookie year, he is simply overwhelmed by the way these players defended him because of how they hype him every day before and after the NBA draft. Now the eyes of their opponents are against him and he will suffer more than his teammates because of the pressure they gave him earlier. But if he can survive all of these things without suffering some serious injury, I'm sure he will be more than fine when he reaches his prime and he will more likely become like Giannis but have some more shooting capability from long range.

It's a tough call to make for the ref as Jones trying to foul him and Johnson stealing the ball was happening simultaneously. Johnson may have stolen the ball first before Jones grabbed Durant's arm.

I don't think so. The Suns were expecting a quick foul from Spurs with under 7 secs remaining so the play was to give the ball to their best shooter which is Durant. He did well protecting the ball against the players in front of him but nobody would have expected someone to steal from behind and from the corner.

I think Victor needs a little more time to adapt. By the way, he averages 16.3 points per game and grabs an average of 7.5 rebounds. I think that's pretty good stats for a rookie. The only thing I would point out is that he shoots a lot of three-pointers with a relatively poor field goal percentage(26.3%). It looks like his desire to shoot the ball overrides his desire to fight for the ball in the paint. It's understandable because the likelihood of him getting injured is pretty high if he struggles in the paint.

The only thing I would point out is that he shoots a lot of three-pointers with a relatively poor field goal percentage(26.3%). It looks like his desire to shoot the ball overrides his desire to fight for the ball in the paint. It's understandable because the likelihood of him getting injured is pretty high if he struggles in the paint.

That's good stats for a rookie already and we can say that there's a lot of improvements will came unto this guy since he's just adopting to the game which is totally new to him. For sure when Wemby gets a lot of experience then got familiar about the league also got a proper team chemistry on the team where he is now for sure he became more competitive player. Many worries about possible injury but its already given and for sure that he also take care his body and be careful about those unfortunate incident that might happen to him since he really know that his career might get ruin if he get a serious injury at early of his career. Future is really good for this young kid and he should continue to strive to maximize his potential and possible can give Spurs another championship on their franchise.

I agree on the stats satisfaction but he should address the concerns on a lot of turnovers. I’m not sure if he is aware but he has a lot of exposure if being stolen a ball when he dribble since he is too tall so he should just pass the ball immediately to the PH whenever has it then get a better position to receive the ball. He is really contributing good on points and defense but he has a lot of turnovers too which he should address to become efficient player.

I’m excited to watch him against big man like Jokic and Giannis. I’m wondering if he can still demonstrate good offense in the paint or he will just stay outside when this big man drive.

He will someday, he needs more experience. Double-double won't be a problem for him and I bet he will break record after record. He is young and he may want to build some body muscles so he can cover more floor when he box out.
Anyway, that's a nice first win for the San Antonio Spurs although I agree that it's clearly a foul against Durant. He was already expecting the call but he also made a mistake by not moving to defense after the defender took the ball from him.

@5.50. I hope that will change as I also will be betting for the Denver Nuggets but I want to maximize the profits. I think it will be impossible though since they kept on winning their games.

Clippers is a strong line-up without Harden but that might change when he comes in. I think by losing most of the bench they played better too, the rotation ain't that difficult for Coach Tyronn Lue anymore as he won't need to change from offense to defense like it's NFL. 
Kawhi Leonard on the other hand ain't that productive on the offensive end last night but it's just the start of the season so I am not judging yet.

It was a dissapointing loss, and it wasn't supposed to end that way. There were quite a few mistakes in the final seconds of the game. I'm certain they won't easily forget losing by just one point, especially after Wemby's crucial offensive rebound. Durant had the ball snatched from him, and his final shot was well-contested. It was, in fact, a great game, but for Suns fans, the outcome was likely disappointing.

I think he has adapted already, it's that the Spurs have a lot of good core and young players and we can't say that Wemby is their main man, after all he is still a rookie and perhaps the same concern as we have right now, he needs to be very careful to not get injured that's why the Spurs are just managing his time in the right now and that's why he hasn't got more rebounds every game.

But he will be good though, they just got their W against Kevin Durant and the Suns. There were moments that the two are guarding each other. And what a comeback win for the young Spurs and it was shocking to see how the Suns melts down in this game.

Spurs is a young squad which I am sensing will change a ton after a while, their issue is that nobody is entirely sure how long Pop will continue to do this, but as long as he can keep doing it for another 5-6 years then they should be fine, he is 74, so he will get near 80 by that time, not easy. I mean they lost by 40 points to Clippers, and they were losing by a huge margin to Suns as well, and then they made a comeback and won that game.

It is a foul but on that angle, I think the ref can't be blamed on this one and plus, the Suns has 1 timeout remaining on that time so with those remaining minutes.

They should have used it for them to secure the game but anyway, 20 points lead by them and then taken over by Spurs with 1 point.

They did, in fact, call a timeout right after Keldon Johnson's driving layup, but there was only 1 second left on the clock, and Durant couldn't sink the last shot. Since I missed watching the game live, I confirmed by checking out the game story, and it indeed showed that they called a timeout.

They can't stick with that only as refs can sometimes miss to call a foul, and if it's not called, there's no foul to discuss. The crux of their mistake was allowing the Spurs to score 14 more points than them in the last quarter (33-19). Had they prevented that big run, the debate over a possible foul wouldn't even be on the table.

It's undoubtedly a tough loss for them, but it's crucial to keep emotions in check. They should take this experience as a lesson, let it go, and focus on the many games still ahead.

Poole's ball-hogging behavior is quite crazy; he doesn't seem to consider passing the ball to his teammates and appears to believe he can carry the team all on his own. Perhaps he's still riding the preseason high when he scored 41 points, but it's becoming apparent that this approach is not effective in the regular season. Defenses are tighter, and if Poole doesn't adjust his mentality, he might find himself falling out of favor with his teammates.

CP3 is number 8 in APG this season why Poole is at 87. LOL.. Warriors knows Poole would continue destroying the team if they'll keep him.
