461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi Im trader over 12 years of experince here is my goal on: June 05, 2023, 09:40:26 PM
Im trader over 12 years of experince.
I like to challenge myself iwill use mainly moving average indicator.
My goal is to start with 7$ and in 15 days i'll turn this into 229376$
I'll post here results when i have done this my PNL from binance.

Did you remember to put a comma in your number- 229376 ?
I do not believe that you have 12 years of trading, most likely you have a lot of experience of losing at gambling games if you set such goals.
I think that with such leverage you will lose your money in the first days, and you will have to try many more times until you understand the stupidity of your idea.

Probably you might lose your capital instead of making you profitable after that. But let’s see what happens to your trade right after. If you can do that, you’ll have a lot merits to gain but I’m quite sure that there’s no way you can do that. However, trading outcome differs from each of us. But if you can manage to make more profitable after that 15 days, then you’ll have my salute.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 05, 2023, 09:23:34 PM
I believe parents know best for their children but if parents have crossed their lines to the extent of forcing their children to do this, to do that, then that is not reasonable anymore. Although bitcoin can give security and can brighten their future, but if the children do not want to engage with bitcoin because simply they have their own reasons too, then we cannot do anything about that but just learn to support whatever their goals in life. When they become mature, I guess they’ll be responsible too for their own lives.

Gervonta Davis attempting to serve his house arrest at the four seasons and then deciding he’d rather go spend it at a multimillion dollar penthouse is wild to me. He was really thinking that he’d get to use his house arrest like a vacation and just serve it wherever. He can’t be surprised to be back in jail as a result. He’s totally insane.

Indeed, he is now serving his jailtime in real jail unlike from what he have imagined after violating it.

Tank Davis Violates House Arrest, Taken Into Custody

He seems to be naïve about it instead of serving his 90-day house arrest properly and be sorry for what he did towards the family, he is already lucky to have a situation like that instead he still pushed his luck in going into his newly purchased multi-million dollar penthouse.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 02, 2023, 05:28:53 PM
Freaky statistic in my opinion. If a player made 5 successful dribbles, but it was 5 successful attempts out of 100, then all these actions were at a loss for the team. Miracles of univariate analysis when, with the right approach, you can achieve any result you want and pass off bad indicators as good ones. I'm not saying that Messi was consistently bad, but such statistics are only annoying.
Well, we all know that Messi does not want to continue at PSG, obviously PSG has a lot of power worldwide, a lot of money, any article that they can filter in the news to justify a possible PSG departure is possible (this is also mere speculation ) now if they say it as a measure to discredit the Argentine national soccer team a bit, it is something else, it is known that in Europe it hurts a lot that France has not won, things can go in that direction, although it is not something very nice, but It is quite possible, players like Messi, CR7 make enemies out of nowhere, just for playing well, sometimes it is to cause more shock or it can be mere envy.

I don’t know what you meant (maybe you didn’t understand what I wrote), these statistics are just in favor of Messi, but I see that it is completely divorced from reality and does not mean anything. I don’t think that PSG is interested in somehow influencing the reputation of the Argentina national team or Messi - for them, his departure is a competent mutually beneficial decision. He's not worth the money they pay him.

Could be right and could be wrong, Paris Saint-Germain might save a lot of money about Messi's departure because it will be too much to ask that he will still play like he is still in his younger days as he is now getting older as the goes by but that also gives the Paris Saint-Germain a negative reputation because somehow, their power is not that good anymore, I know that they still have a lot of great players like Neymar, Hakimi and Mbappe, but with Messi's departure, that will certainly make a difference.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 02, 2023, 04:51:29 PM
And as expected by everyone, the Nuggets takes game 1 very easy if I may say that. And as I have said in my prediction, it's a blow out win, double digit lead advantage. Aaron Gordon was the X-factor in this first game and it seems he is enjoying the matchup whether defense or offense that the Heat is putting up on him. The last time the Nuggets lost, it takes a combine Booker and Durant to have a perfect night and beat them. I don't see anyone on Heat's caliber though, although it might take like Butler and Bam to really contribute big in their offense to offset the Nuggets in this series.

Butler and Bam were trying to lift the team, but it was the off-night shooting performances of the rest of the team.

they've been outscored by the Nuggets, that tight defense really bring that big impact to the outcome of the game, Nuggets fans
surely enjoy what they've seen from all the players who step inside the court. They provide what the team needs and give enough
rest for the core players and continue that great performances.

As far as I can tell about what happened in Game 1, only Bam have tried to lift the team because I don't know what happened with Butler. He seems to be tired about the recent series they've finished because instead of being the one who always try to penetrate the paint, I didn't see that much of Butler and his stats are actually much lower compared to his last 10 games. Fatigue might be a factor but who knows.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 01, 2023, 08:50:55 PM
I think that will be the better options for Rolly Romero now, of course a Ryan Garcia fight will be a block for him and his camp. Eventhough Ryan has lost his fight against Tank Davis, he is still one of the most bankable star and that's why everyone is still wanting to fight him including Romero.

But I guess WBA did him a favor here by ordering a Davies mandatory fight. Ohara is a solid 140 lbs and his name could be one of those who might reign in this division in the future. So it make sense for the WBA to order Romero and see how tough he is before calling out other 140 lbs fighters including Ryan (yes, I think Ryan will move up to 140 lbs in his next fight).

I'd say WBA really did him a favor because he will be stagnant if ever he will wait for Garcia until he is ready because we know that Garcia might have to lay low first in the next couple of months before having a fight for himself which I think will be a tune-up first, so a fight with this Ohara Davis will really make Romero more ready and busy, on the other hand, he might have some opportunities down the road if he continue to be active.

Romero's camp should be prepared about what could happen next for Romero because after all, they are not that kind of beginners in this industry who should be informed about what could be the next and also, they are under Mayweather who is under Al Haymon's guidance. So they shouldn't be shocked about this mandatory fight as almost every boxer is and was having it even if they just have finished their fight recently. He should be grateful because he is still garnering some fights even after that controversial win he got.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 01, 2023, 08:25:27 PM
Naoya Inoue is no doubt already compatible with the 122 division and honestly seems looked overqualified even before entering officially that division. If let's say he loses to Stephen Fulton, it's just that he can't take the champion here but against anyone else in that division, Inoue can surely topped most of those. But I'm sure if he really loses here for real, the fight is a close one and a rematch is probably the next in line.

If Inoue loses this match, then we will all be proven wrong because we are expecting an easy victory for Inoue to claim the championship. I mean no disrespect to Fulton, but when you compare his record to Inoue's, there is a significant difference. So, even though Inoue is the challenger in this fight, many still anticipate his victory.

I wouldn't expect a rematch because I truly believe that we will not witness a closely contested fight. Most likely, the fight will either end early or go the full 12 rounds if Fulton opts to avoid taking risks and decides to focus on surviving rather than engaging in exchanges of punches.

So if there's a rematch, most likely the champ has succeeded in defending his belt.

There is no rematch clause in this fight as per Fulton already. He admitted that this is just one fight and then see how it goes. He really wanted to go up in weight already and fight Brandon at 126 lbs it's that maybe his camp stop him from moving up because there is one fight that they need to settle and that is the Inoue fight.

So if Inoue losses, then he will remain in 122 lbs and maybe fight for the belt again.

And then Fulton will go on 126 lbs, relinquished his belt and then go for the champion Figueroa at 126 lbs. That will be the best scenario, in my opinion.
We still don't know, yes, what if he beat Inoue? then for sure there will be huge money for him in the table in the rematch and if he is going to be wise and intelligent, then he might have to do that, have a second fight, but this time it will be in his own terms, like in the US so that he won't go back to Japan.

Fulton is still very young, so the future is bring for him. It's just a matter of making the right decision in his career. And hopefully his advisor will really take care of him, on his career path, whether to move up to 126 lbs.

Given that Steph Fulton wins their fight, and a rematch will happen, it's not up to Fulton if he chooses to fight in the US soil rather than making it in Japan again because that decision falls under the promoter's and organizer's hand because they are the ones who are capitalizing for this fight whereas the boxers are already have the guaranteed money. So, it will be their call where they think the fight would be more promising, but in-terms of purse cut and other perks, Fulton got that advantage as he is now in the A-side.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 31, 2023, 07:41:19 PM

Miami heat vs Denver nuggets it will be a good matchup as we all know that both teams are strong enough to prove themselves that they are worthy of That trophy. and the most favorate here is the Denver nuggets as we all know how they play they are too strong that Even Lakers can not compete them. But Miami heat and their star Jimmy Butler want to compete nuggets even they have small lineup than nuggets but still they have a chance to win. And in game 1 we can predict what happen next.

Game 1 may provide us with an indication of what could transpire in the series, but the Nuggets must exercise caution, as the Miami Heat have shown proficiency in snatching victories on the road. In fact, they defeated the Celtics three times on their home court during the Eastern Conference Finals, implying that they could replicate this feat against the Nuggets. Their objective is to secure at least one win on the road to gain a home court advantage, ideally in either Game 1 or Game 2.

It will be a battle between who is more dominant in-terms of defense and who can stop the duo of both teams, either the Heat or the Nuggets, if they can be able to do it impressively then we may have an idea who will likely win in this season's NBA Finals. But it will be a rough road for both teams for sure as they know that stopping each other will not be an easy path. Having said that, I think a sweep impossible in this phase.

What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market

They are all promised to have retirement, stable and passive income, happy ending, fast car, fast house, fast woman, big fat profit, millionaire, high risk high return. Some of them got into big loan and loss everything, while they are still having to pay their loan. Are they gonna get a refund? The broker tell me stock market would make a come back again, it is just a cycle thing, technical correction, everybody would get their refund when market come back again. Now is the best time to buy low, when they market come back, it is your chance to retire young retire rich.

I told broker this is snake oil, and it is over. He respond it is not, you see, everybody too is doing this shady business, everybody doing it, you know, ape together ape is strong, when ape is strong, police is weak, law enforcement is weak, they can't fight the ape when ape together. Smiley
All investments have their own associated risks, so we must have all the caution before deciding to invest.  But between stocks and bitcoin, I would say there’s more chances to be profitable with bitcoin. Aside from the fact that it’s highly volatile that keeps the thrill, bitcoin price history will keep on achieving all time highs even if the process is not that fast but with long term hodling, it will be highly possible. However, stocks might still be profitable but its profits are nothing when it comes to bitcoin investments.
470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto influencers secrets that all newbies should be aware of on: May 30, 2023, 09:41:10 PM
Being an influencer means he must be able to spread something good to many people. But sadly, the number of good influencers is not that many and most influencers want to make a lot of money from what they post, no matter if it's a shitcoin, as you say.

If your friend doesn't want to do it anymore, he can just turn down such offers and prefer to provide information about the true things about crypto. And we also can't deny that that's what's happening on many social media. Where there are influencers who provide info, that's where the money is, but it also depends on the audience because they will choose it for themselves.

Be careful when you watch influencers on social media, filter what you watch, and look for more information that might be useful to you. And if you want to become an influencer, try to be a good influencer and provide the right information.
That’s the problem with crypto influencers since they are here not to give you advantage but certainly to take advantage on you. Instead of making you profitable, it’s like they are the ones who become profitable while leaving you at loss. That is why if we keep on relying for them, we will never achieve our goals in crypto. We have to gain knowledge and experience on our own, because that’s the best thing to do. There might be losses along the way but know that they are there to motivate us and not for us to fear and eventually quit along the way.
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 30, 2023, 09:26:44 PM
Cryptocurrency is risky, and while we are aware of the basic requirements that must be in place in order to profit significantly, not all of us are aware of an appropriate season to trade. Most professional traders prefer the bear season, which, in my opinion, is the best period to conduct critical study on crypto projects, uncover ethical road maps, and invest in them for a possible solid future. The bull season is most likely harvest time; we reap what we sow in the market. Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
Trading is usually more satisfying if we are seeing the market in green so that means that market is clearly bullish. But I’m not saying that’s the only time we can make good trading. The fact is we can always trade even when the market is not bullish at all, as long as the market condition favors your trade. That’s why we have to gain as much as experience we need so that whatever the market condition is, we can still make trading a profitable one even when most of the beginner trades are losing at it.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: May 30, 2023, 08:59:28 PM
Recently, I came to read this news

https://protos.com/spanish-police-rescue-crypto-investor-kidnapped-on-holiday/

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was that one should not talk about his crypto investments with strangers or friends as it can pose various risks. If you are active on forums like bitcointalk and involved in trades, you should not give information which can help others relate to your identity.
Know when to tell things and when not to. But when it comes to investments and life’s achievements, it’s better to keep your privacy and never let other people become aware about it. Just like never share your plans as it could be ruined by them without you knowing. Maybe it’s a good thing that I never trust people easily even those my closest friends because I always believe those who have known you so well might be your best enemy in the future. That’s why if we can keep things privately and secretly, much better so as to avoid ourself from being put into danger.
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: May 29, 2023, 09:59:15 PM
My take on bitcoin in 2023 by the way it bought and was pumping pumping and pumping was like it will never stop. I thought it was my year to make my money and keep much of Bitcoin in my wallet. But the dullness of over 2 months has changed my mind. The scenario poured coldness in my mind but again let me know that bitcoin behaves like an asset and asset has the time to buy and sell not the way I thought it will always be be buying.

I have waited for the price to reach $25k for me to start pumping my money, it never reach there. I grows impatient daily, I won't wait more than 1st of July, any price I see it is what I buy.

I don't like to sound desperate, do I sound desperate or determine to make money?

Bitcoin HODLing for years can not be a lost affair.

Having that mindset will not take you far in this market. Instead of being impatient and becoming so desperate, try not to focus on the negativity of the present event but always look forward on what bitcoin has to offer in the future. If you know in the first place that bitcoin is more on long-term investment, then you should learn to adjust and still see great opportunities whenever the price experience correction or when the market is being crashed. Know that bitcoin will never settle for less, but it always surge high and achieve new ATH in the right time.
474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not rely on articles as resources to learn Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 09:41:33 PM
As long as the sources are adding information for someone who wants to learn more about Bitcoin and it's not corrupting the mind of its readers, that's a fine source.

These sources are even just for free and they've made of course by these exchanges or whoever sponsors them and have it put on their website. And that's the actual fee that every guest or visitor pays them, the traffic in exchange of the resources and information that they've included on these articles.

But it's true that some of these articles might be misleading and bias.
They might be misleading due to some misconceptions that authors viewed from bitcoin. This is why we don’t have to limit ourselves from just few articles and stick to them. There are a lot of reputable and legit resources that we can find online, we just have to explore the internet and do our own diligence to find out which are legit and which are unreasonable. Thus, exposing our minds into different views make us more knowledgeable and wise.
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: May 29, 2023, 08:58:11 PM
It’s not a big amount but it’s simply what beginners only need so they can manage their losses if ever their trades become unsuccessful. And since they have less experiences with trading, then they should not jump into putting big amount of capital because that will only mean huge amount of losses as it’s rare to see newbies in trading ends a trade with a huge amount of profits.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 08:25:46 PM
I don't know your country but as for me to be a good law abiding citizen it's better you don't involve yourself to what your country didn't encourage to avoid violating their regulations. But if you must go further to teach them about bitcoin, you don't have to go above your limits or only teaching them about security aspect and usefulness, it must not only be the investment aspect.
Then secondly, investing in bitcoin doesn't guaranteed a total turnaround of becoming rich or wealth over night. Know too well that if they venture into bitcoin it could take about 1 year or more to get stabilized since the market is too volatile.
I guess it’s not your obligation OP to educate them and provide them the best information they deserve to have. You’ve done your part already and let them do the rest. Learning is made easier right now as everything they need to learn are already available online and they’re free so I think if they’re really eager to know more about bitcoin, then they should learn on their own too. You would not want to be blame in the future if these friends of yours will lose on their investments and made you responsible for their losses. So free yourself from pressures, let them do their own part.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club on: May 28, 2023, 08:39:27 PM
I do bets even if the odds aren't good or I know that the team that I support isn't in good shape in support of them. But this is just happening for sometimes when I think that I'm okay to lose money. I am not die hard as the others but that's just a way for me to support a club or team that I really like. It's not that a lot of money to lose and could just be a snack amount but, it's a way for me to show I like these teams but I'll never go beyond that with an amount that I can't afford to lose.
I get you as I'm also doing that, sometimes, when watching a game I place some bet even I fully know that my team might lose the game but I still place my spare money to show some support and also to add some entertainment while watching the game, but like you, it's just a spare amount, some money that I'm willing to let go for my entertainment.

Not really a fan of being a heavy gambler where throwing huge amount just to support the team that I'm idolizing.

After all, that is how we show our support and loyalty towards our beloved team. It may not be our national team or our own team that is directly connected to us but what can we do, it is the team where our mind is into. Even though there are some times that their chances are not that strong, we are still supporting them from betting in favor of them and putting our little contribution towards them. Anyway, it's not a big deal even if I lose the bet or not, after all, it is my way to entertain myself and to show my support especially if a fellow kababayan is playing or fighting in other sports.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 28, 2023, 07:47:48 PM
The next game might end up as the most watched NBA game of the season and I think it might beat the final audience because Boston could make history if they win the series against Heat! Also , the pressure moved completely on Heat shoulders and the fact that they are playing on away , makes the game even more harder for them.  Grin

I reckon that it will be the most watched NBA game in the post season because LeBron James already took the "most watched game during the regular season" when he broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record.

Anyway, back to the topic, I can feel the pressure of the Heat is feeling right now because they will be the first team who will get the first embarrassment of letting the long unbreakable record to be broken at last by the Boston Celtics. And the saddest thing is, they will play the very last game in a hostile ground where their chances are a bit lower compared to their chances when they are still at home in Game 6.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: May 26, 2023, 08:28:17 PM

The unification fight seems weird also since Spence is now the one being inactive and all of a sudden the always-keep-it-safe Al Haymon and Showtime approved this? Or is Crawford willing to sign with PBC and commit himself to Showtime after this fight? Nonetheless, I really really hope that it is for real and Spence won't make any excuses later on.

I won't question the timing anymore. I'm just happy that this new announcement is quite reliable, so let's be optimistic that we will finally see this highly anticipated fight. If Spence isn't active and ends up losing, then it would be his fault, but I'm sure he will train hard as he has more belts at stake in this fight.

Yes, I agree. After what happened in the past few months, we are still lucky because this kind of fight has been materialized. It will be too much to ask but I don't consider the fact anymore whether if they are inactive or not because what is more important to me and for the fans is that fact that this fight is finally happening after many months of dancing back and forth.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 26, 2023, 08:01:54 PM
^^ Not just fans, but even his former trainer Eddy Reynoso and even Canelo Alvarez had question Garcia's mentality in his boxing and trainer. But what he did? he separated himself against that great trainer in Reynoso and move to Goosen. Unfortunately, there is a fall out as well and for sure Ryan is putting the blame to Goosen for losing this fight.

However, if this trend is not going to stop though, James is a great trainer, he had trained a lot of elite boxers like Spence Jr. and turn him into what he is right now. But as we have said, it's the attitude and the hard work and perhaps that what lacking in Ryan Garcia and I do agree that he might not reach his full potential if he won't give his 100% on his training.

He cannot accept the fact that he have other boxer in the same training camp that is more prioritized than him. In the first place, Garcia have already done the unexpected being the selfish boxer who have wanted all attention directly to him but Reynoso brought to him the reality, which made Garcia leave the camp.
