281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Trading becomes Unfavourable on: August 23, 2023, 09:39:21 PM
There are few factors that leads to unfavourable trading, these factors includes Greed, and chasing a trend, Traders are expected to encounter Challenges during trading and relating these challenges with people's experiences can be the key in solving the challenge,
Sticking to the trading plan is also good to avoid unfavourable trade as changing plans in the middle of a trade Can really lead to a loss in trade.

There’s no place for perfect trading in the market. If you won’t fall for profits, probably you’re on your way for some losses. So never expect that you trade to win all the time, because in reality trading is more on losses instead especially if you are still a beginner trader. But no worries because you will learn eventually from all the mistakes and losses that are happening in your trades. Quitting should not be an option. Yes, you can take a break from trading, but after that, keep on trading again because that’s the only way you’ll gain more experience and become a skilled trader in the future.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the effect of having plenty children to the national economy of a country on: August 23, 2023, 08:11:44 AM
To me having plenty children isnof no use and it is just a way to create over population in a country. This is the major problem. China is facing now and they are trying hard to control it so that the population will not excess the total plan and provisions for the country. I think there are more safer ways to regulate over population which involves control birth rate.
The government are mostly responsible for restructuring of her country in a way that citizens will not keep producing children unnecessary. There are laws that need to be set aside to reduce over population then there is uncontrollable birth rate.
You are right. Not just China is suffering from this problem but even other developed countries as well. While it’s good to see a complete family with their parents raising their kids, but with the present economic problems, basic necessities prices are increasing, services are becoming more expensive, how can a low earning parents feed their children and provide their basic needs? For sure, not only the parents will struggle but also their children as well will be deprived from living a quality life. So if the rate of birth control will be limited and the government will set minimum number of children in each family, I guess that will be a big help for the future parents and for the unborn children as well.

284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: August 22, 2023, 03:50:05 PM
Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo
I've seen the news about the Crawford vs Canelo challenge, it looks like Crawford is very ambitious to beat Canelo and box, but I often watch boxing Crawford or Canelo are both really good bettors, but I often see their opponents talk a lot of nonsense and ambition, will end up losing.

I've read some of the comments from Crawford on social media towards Canelo.
For example:
Quote
"Ability always pays, not size, remember that," says Crawford,

Quote
Canelo is not big, I'm not scared at all, although he is muscular.

And many other words spoken by Crawford to challenge Canelo, I think Crawford underestimated Canelo.

I have a hunch for Crawford can't jump 3 classes, he will be eliminated in the ring for the fight between Crawford vs Canelo.

I can't blame him for being gutsy and having that much confident because he is already a 2x undisputed champion now which makes him think even more that he can still add more to that record to make it more unbreakable. But yes, jumping towards three weight classes is a different discussion and Crawford haven't even know what it's like to fight at 154, what more if he will got 168 directly where he's more likely vulnerable against a guy like Canelo who's been around that weight class and dominating it for a couple of years now.

What Crawford is doing right now is trying to get under Canelo's skin to make him agree with a fight with him while also selling it to the people to make a hype.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 22, 2023, 01:38:20 PM
He looks out of shape, judging by the picture shared, but it doesn't matter as he has already proven that he is the best in the heavyweight division. When he defeated Wilder, he solidified his legacy in the division he currently reigns over. So, even if he does not look as intimidating with that body, I have no doubt he can still be the best once he steps into the ring.

Judging from this picture he is probably confident to easily beat his opponent and he thinks he won't need intense training at all. Well, that's their own perception about this fight but I'm sure Ngannou will not gonna be like that ever since this fight is his revenge for the UFC and to prove to them his worth and skills. I guess this won't be his body shape when he comes to fight Ngannou because it won't be good for him to lose either because he has some clean records anyway unless he doesn't care about it anymore.
We can count on Fury, as he definitely knows what he is doing. He is the champion, and I'm sure he won't come unprepared. Ngannou, the opponent, is a KO artist, so Fury cannot be too complacent, even though this bout will be held in his favorite sport, which is boxing.

Anyway, it's still a bit early; we have 2 months left, and I think that's ample time to prepare and trim down a bit to be physically fit for the fight.

Yes, I don't think that Fury is someone like that who is going to be thinking that this will be an easy job for him because if that's the case then he is already underestimating Ngannou for that just because he comes from a different sport. He definitely know better than that specially when it comes to situations where he will be called out and challenge is undefeated record, it might not be against his belt but his record is certainly not a thing that he should be complacent with because it will be a big embarrassment for him if in any case he will be defeated. You know, there's only two sides of the coin and we never know who will because chances are chances, no matter how slim it is.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 22, 2023, 09:38:48 AM

4. Make the 24 hour rule
This rule helped me when I was building in this way. Because when I want to buy something, I put it off for 24 hours, and during this time I learn how to assess these things. Usually the excitement we experience disappears immediately after a few hours. You imagine the sacrifices you will make when you accomplish them. Like the small savings you have or sometimes we will even borrow the money we will use here. At least in this way we can avoid impulsive buying or bursts of emotion.

This is really the strategy I am using right now because it is really working when you have the urge to buy, mostly right now that we can buy using our phones and are mostly easily tempted, like right now new phones and other stuff that you found nice, which again we know is not needed, but because we can't control ourselves when we buy, we have like 24 to 48 hours to know if you still need it or want it.
I can also say that this strategy is really useful. Instead of spending my money, I end up saving it. However, this is only applicable when talking about your wants, but if you tend to buy your basic necessity, you will have no choice but to spend your money so you can have what you need. Still, spending within your budget and having some financial discipline are a must. Otherwise, you end up overspending and start taking personal debt just to provide your basic needs.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong way to accumulate. on: August 21, 2023, 09:42:15 PM
What are your own thoughts on wrong ways you think people follow in  bitcoin accumulation.
Lack of patience.

They think that as people tell that they should DCA and they obliged, they'll already going to become rich. That's not it, even if you DCA and follow suggestion of experienced people, patience will still bring you far.

As said that it shouldn't be pressuring and stressing, many of the investors are not patient. They think that at all times the market is hyper, no it's not.
Patience is one key to success. If investors never been practicing it due to their greed on profits and just invest big time in order to gain quick profits, then obviously it will still end up unsuccessful. It’s not actually how many time you try to accumulate bitcoin or how big your capital is, but it’s how you handle your investments with the right attitude and patience that will help you not to be impulsive so you won’t end up with wrong decision making.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 21, 2023, 02:40:51 PM
Elon Musk will come up with "crazy genius" ideas that he is known for, and it will not work and he will say that he was "ready to fight but Mark didn't want to do it that way". I mean he could even say that he will go to Space with his spaceships and then fight there with him, and when Mark refuses then Elon will say "as you can see he refused the fight!!". Its really stupid, just do it, you need a ref and a ring that's it, even a single cam from someone shooting it with their phones would be enough at this point, all people would care about would be seeing one of them win, not the fight itself. Its %100 obvious that he is going to end up losing and that is why he is making these moves.

Zuck already dropped the idea and is looking to focus on his next fight with 'real' fighters based on his new post in Threads. He's already not interested since he knows that Elon is just bluffing, and he already offered tons of things to set the fight up and still, nothing is happening. I guess Mark no longer wants to be involved in this cheap marketing gimmick that Elon Musk is trying to do for himself.

Is Mark Zuckerberg really that naïve to even consider fighting real fighters? I don't that is a good idea because this path was just opened because of Elon's gimmicks for calling out Mark for a fight and not that it already fell into pieces, I don't see any reasons for him to pursue this path as it will not lead him to anything that will give him benefit.

Is their giant tech companies boring them out? Because it seems to me that they have a lot of time to prepare for a nonsense fight rather than focusing on what they have and what they are good with.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 21, 2023, 01:23:45 PM
There is this news circulating in the net today that the 8 world division champion Manny Pacquiao will have an exhibition match against a Thai Boxing Legend Buakaw Banchamek.  It was reveal that the $25m exhibition fights will have a six rounds of boxing and they will be fighting @ 154 lbs.  There is a belt at stake here called WBC Legend Belt and will be given to whomever won the fight.  Though it has not been confirmed whether it will be considered a professional fight or an exhibition fight.

Source

I see, I was under the impression where Manny Pacquiao was set to face his former sparring partner, Jaber Zayani, somewhere in UAE or Saudi Arabia as that was the hot news a couple of months ago after Pacquiao fought that professional karate clown from South Korea (I obviously forgot what was his name). Grin

But for some reasons, maybe there wasn't any hype established and so both camps decided to forfeit it and this time, the boxing legend will face a local Thai legend in a boxing fight. Hopefully this time, it will be more entertaining compared to that recent fight where Pacquiao had where it's clear that the arena wasn't even half full.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 20, 2023, 09:26:03 AM
It’s sad to say that majority of the older people don’t know anything about bitcoin. But that never means that they were not good enough to learn about it as bitcoin has no age limit when it comes to learning its idea and its bitcoin usage. That’s why it’s still worthy to teach older people about bitcoin technology and how it would be beneficial to an individual’s life.

Know that bitcoin is never limited to young ones, nor older people around. The fact that you are being receptive and show the eagerness to learn, then it’s safe to say that you’ll eventually learn bitcoin as long as you do your own diligence through research and studies.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 18, 2023, 12:10:31 PM
I head as well that Francis Ngannou tried to suggest and submit to the committee that both of them should use grappling gloves (the ones that are used in MMA fights) but it was rejected because this fight will be fought in the boxing ring and will be under the boxing rules, just like what the article is saying above.
For both fighters, this is just an opportunity to make good money, and it’s not so important in what and where they fight, although I think that if it were not a boxing match, then Ngannou would most likely just destroy Fury.  Grin And in the ring they will put on a good show, take their money and go about their business.

It will never be the opposite mate because Tyson Fury is not the one who is chasing for this fight and whether they like or not, boxers always do have the advantage because in this sport, they are the ones who make more money compared to the fighters in UFC or even the ones in ONE championship and other fields. That is why we are seeing some fighters lately who wanted to have some fights in the boxing ring because they can generate more money in it. Just like in this instance, just one fight against Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will have his biggest paycheck ever in his career that his UFC paychecks cannot even match even if it will be combined together.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: August 18, 2023, 06:27:40 AM
Although the fight is not yet final as we have seen Regis throwing tantrums that the Haney's is changing the terms specially the purse split.

I don't understand what kind of disrespectful act the camp of Haney is engaging in. They are the challengers, yet they want to dictate the terms of the purse split. We know that Haney is more popular, but they should respect that Regis Prograis is the champion. As a basic rule, the champion should receive more benefits in terms of the purse split. A 50-50 split might be the lowest acceptable, but if Haney were to request a 60-40 split in his favor, I think that would already be unjustifiable.
Yes, I agree, for sure it has something to do with the split that they are offering Regis, the current champion at a lower cut in the money here. And it's good that he engage the public here. Although not sure if the Haney has replied to it. But if you look at it, this are all businessman who wants to take advantage of their opponents to gain more money as far as split goes.

For me it's ok to call this 50-50, Haney is not a crowd drawer in his own rights. In his last fights, he need to have a good opponent to have a good PPV tickets and live gates. So it's just fair for Regis to complain if he is going the smaller cut here.

He is the current champion, so he needs to maintain his position. Besides, if this fight does not happen, he will remain the champion and can still fight other boxers who challenge him. Who knows, he might get a shot at a unification fight, which I think is bigger than fighting Haney. Haney is the one who needs this fight; he is also trying to build his legacy, so he needs to become a champion. If he is too greedy, he will not get what he wants.

Right, it shouldn't be even an issue to begin with because Regis is not the one who is chasing for a fight, Haney is, and because he is already the champion and he have a lot more options to choose rather than wasting his time on negotiations with Haney who surely got his head way back down. If that's what Haney wanted, then so be it, it will be his loss and not Regis's.

Don't know what's with Haney these days, he surely know that his days in the lightweight division are numbered but he thinks that he is still special and will always get the A-side even if he doesn't have anything to offer. What happened recently against Loma was just a lucky one and certainly will not be that lucky again in his next fights.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 17, 2023, 03:22:06 PM
Just imagine the potential headline: Casimero vs. Inoue – a more significant spectacle than Tapales vs. Inoue, especially considering that the former was relatively unknown before his significant upset win.

Before the bolded text could happen, Casimero should first secure a championship belt and the way to do that is to fight Tapales on either the WBA or IBF belt but that possibility is so slim because those sanctioning bodies have already given the clearance to Tapales to fight for the unification so Casimero vs Inoue would likely to happen after the Tapales fight.

After Tapales' fight? What if Inoue wins and decides to move up in weight? So, there's still a risk that the anticipated fight might not happen. Let's assume the sanctioning bodies have already given clearance for the unification fight, but what about the issue of purse split? What if the camps of Inoue and Tapales cannot agree on the terms?
There are a lot of scenarios here, just like what you pointed out, he could go up in weight, I mean Inoue after "beating" Tapales and doesn't want to fight Casimero as he has nothing to bring into the table.

Or Tapales not fighting Inoue because they can't agree on anything specially the purse split. And then Inoue doesn't move up in weight and still chase some fights in 122 lbs before decided to go to 126 lbs. But everything rest in his hands, he can decide as he is the A-side fighter here. Just offer a decent purse for Tapales and he will be on the way to become a unified champion again.

If he chooses to entertain challengers, then I believe Casimero's chances of getting a fight with Inoue are high. So, I think that's a better path than fighting Tapales, whom I believe he will beat his fellow champion and unify the belts. If he gets all the belts, it will boost his confidence and he will ride the wave of his success. As we usually see, when a fighter becomes a unified or undisputed champion, they often move up and challenge champions in higher divisions. This leaves boxers like Casimero, who are striving for a shot against the monster, in a bad position.

I sure do hope that Naoya Inoue will leave some spot for Casimero in this present division so that they will both share the same stage one day before moving into another weight class and challenge some champions again, not only the people will be glad about that news but it is his chance also to debunk all the speculations floating around them once and for all because that will definitely not vanish itself if people cannot see a fight between him and Casimero.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 17, 2023, 11:54:48 AM
The NBA schedule is being released today if anyone was dying to get their favorite games circled on the calendar. I know I’m personally looking forward to Phoenix’s home opener against the Los Angeles Lakers, as it will be the first time LeBron James and Kevin Durant have faced off in several years. Will surely be a great game to watch for fans.

I don't see the schedule on the official NBA site yet because it says "no data available." Anyway, if I understand correctly, the Lakers and Suns will meet in the in-season tournament. By the way, guys, what do you think about this change in the upcoming season? Will the regular season be more interesting for players and fans because of this in-season tournament or not?

I read that the Suns would be playing the Lakers in the Phoenix home opener. The schedule should also have been published 2 hours ago, but I haven’t seen it yet either so who knows…

I’m curious about what’s going on in Philadelphia. Now Joel Embiid is scrubbing Philadelphia from his location on his social media profiles…

Now that is confusing because the article that I've found is saying differently.

Quote
Opening night

~ The champs will get their rings before a rematch of the 2023 Western Conference finals, in which Denver swept the Lakers and left James and Anthony Davis agreeing that the Nuggets were probably the best team they had played against in their four years together.

~ As well as being Chris Paul's first meeting with Phoenix since it traded him to Golden State, the Suns-Warriors game will be Durant's first at Chase Center with fans in attendance. The arena opened after Durant left Golden State, and he has been injured for all of his visits since, except for a game on Feb. 13, 2021, in which no tickets were sold because of pandemic restrictions.
Source

As what was said above, the season will start on October 24 and will be having two games in the opening night which are the Lakers @ Nuggets and Phoenix @ Warriors game. While the Phoenix vs Lakers game will happen on the following day, October 25.

These games are indeed interesting enough to see, including the night opener of Phoenix vs Warriors because CP3 now is with the latter and he will be facing his old team with the same roster, not him included of course.

What is the article you posted saying that is differently? I said that LeBron James and Kevin Durant would face off in Phoenix’s home opener, which appears to be the same information you posted. I think you confused me saying “home” opener with “season” opener. While the Suns’ first game of the year isn’t against the Lakers, their first home game is. Or am I misunderstanding something?

Yup, my bad mate. I actually misread the term and was confused by how the the games will go as I thought that the Phoenix Suns will be hosting the game against the Warriors when in fact it is the opposite thing Grin It will be the Warriors who will host the game against Suns and the next day after that, they will have their own home opener against the Lakers.

Anyway, hopefully LeBron James and Kevin Durant will be both present on that game as it has been a while since we have witnessed their match-up and it will be a nice gift to the NBA fans.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: August 17, 2023, 09:45:11 AM
^^ Very interesting that Jermell Charlo is not doing any trash talking in this fight? Or he doesn't want to get himself into the skin of Canelo? Make his mad and then suffer what others had in the ring before him, like Caleb Plant who trash talk Canelo and then he got knock out.

So it's really a change of atmosphere for him. But let's see, as I have said, both teams are very respectful to each other, maybe it's the language barrier or what. But it's good to see that this fight is going to happen, 2 undisputed boxers, MW and SW.

There are only two reasons I see why Jermell Charlo is not saying something against Canelo Alvarez, first is because he respects Canelo because of what he have achieved in the boxing industry and also became a pound for pound king. But I personally don't really see that reason because he can even throw some trashtalk to Crawford who recently became the first boxer to attain two undisputed titles in two separate divisions and Charlo doesn't even bother to talk back.

Or maybe it's the second, where he doesn't want to make Canelo angry because he might regret his decision later on because his win on their upcoming bout isn't even decent enough to consider that he can really afford to upset Canelo in his own comfortable division.
296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies say no to Trading. on: August 16, 2023, 09:21:27 PM
Trading is way more profitable than investing alone, but let’s accept the fact that not all who engage in trading are capable enough to make it work. A lot are only good at the beginning but end up losing in the end. Most especially for newbies as they have no certain knowledge and skills that are required for a successful trading. However, even investing alone should not be overlook as well. Once you decide to invest, at least you have studied your investment more intensively and you have set your own goals and develop ways on how to make it a successful investment.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 16, 2023, 02:42:24 PM

It looks like Eddie Hearn is really Hyping and manipulating the fight by saying that Robert Helenius is a dangerous opponent for Anthony Joshua, for sure he is saying something like this to just hype the fight but the funny thing is if he is not really hyping the fight then he doesn't know what he is saying and it is clear that the Netizens already know what will be the result of this fight but surely Robert Helenius is the only one that has confirms as a replacement for this fight but surely maybe there is a much good one instead of Helenius but surely Robert Helenius surely needs money for him as a replacement,

Surely Robert Helenius is no match for Anthony Joshua, in this fight, you can see the technicality in Joshua's movements in conditioning Helenius where the jab will go and trapping him and pressuring Helenius in the ropes for that feint switching his punches on Robert Helenius Face or Body, surely a very bright Anthony Joshua in this event, he didn't do anything crazy this time and he is very solid towards the fight, and it was really reassuring that he's really going to win this fight for sure,

It was a clear Hyping of Eddie Hearn for saying that Robert Helenius will be dangerous against Anthony Joshua which is not the thing we have seen because Anthony Joshua destroyed Helenius with a single punch, a technical knockout from Anthony Joshua for sure Anthony Joshua is now using feints for sure it was a great fight for Anthony Joshua but it was not well received by many because they probably know that Anthony Joshua will surely win this even though the fight hasn't started yet,

That same figure might not be that likely anymore because people already know what would happen in that fight and it is already expected as well that it will be a short fight because we know that Nate will dominate Jake Paul in a way that he will not expect it. But a $2 Million fight for Nate on their rematch will be a disrespect, Jake Paul is not that kind of fool who will give him that figure as a guaranteed money because if it weren't because of Nate, those figures are not likely.

Yup! It will not be going to be the same figures as their 1st fight but surely the next fight is MMA, so it does not have the same revenue as boxing fights, but surely both fighters agreed that they will have another fight, and this time for sure Dana White wants to produce and handle the fight between Jake Paul And Nate Diaz, but surely they don't really want anyone to help them manage an MMA fight, but maybe there will be a different combat sports to help this settle an MMA fight,

Usually though, if there is a call for a rematch, it's because the fans wanted to see more of the action and that they are not satisfied of the first time. So it's possible that the money will still be there for Nate or even get much higher than the first fight. And for sure as a organizer, Jake Paul knows this, and that if he wanted to more more money and to let Nate says "yes" again, he will have to match or offer him higher that the first offer. And the thing is that there are fans who are willing to buy expensive tickets and that's why Jake Paul and his company are capitalizing it eventhough we have a lot of great pro fights as of late and seems the sports is already in the normal state. And with that I guess exhibition match like this by Jake Paul will continue.

But this time, it will be different because they will make it whether the fans wanted more action but it's still a win-win situation for the both of them because people will be more interested for the rematch compared to their first encounter where Jake Paul's success is somehow inevitable. This time, the highlight will be on Nate Diaz and if Jake Paul wanted another money fight again, he will have to drag Nate Diaz's name again to guarantee a success but apart from that, he should as well accept that this time, his win might not happen but it will not matter because it will not be contested in the boxing ring.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: August 16, 2023, 01:39:48 PM
Super lightweight seems to be an easy weight especially for Haney who have fought so many great boxers in lightweight. I think Regis Prograis is currently the tough boxer in super lightweight, if Haney can beat him, technically he don't have any problem to beat Romero, Matias and Lopez. All of them haven't defended their belt at least for once, that's why I think they're not really strong.

The result of this fight should be Haney win via decision.

If only power is the only factor and measurement to be the best of super-lightweight division then Devin Haney wouldn't have any problems but he shouldn't forget that it will be a new weight for him and a new division as well, and while he's still adjusting to the weight, his opponents like Regis Prograis who is more comfortable at 140 will not show him mercy just because of that. Haney does have a chance, I'll give him that, but not as decent compared to the one whom he will face. And Teo Lopez? It turns out that he's just an underrated boxer who actually does have a chance to be one of the bad guys at 140 and let's not forget Josh Taylor, I think he can still bounce back.

These games are indeed interesting enough to see, including the night opener of Phoenix vs Warriors because CP3 now is with the latter and he will be facing his old team with the same roster, not him included of course.
