Sooner or later 45K resistance will fall... I prefer sooner  Wink

P.S. The things are starting to look better for BTCitcoin. Even better than 2021, when we rejoiced at the first signs of mass adoption. Now it is rapidly becoming a reality. 1. If this is the worst bear market in the wake of a possible Apocalypse, I can't imagine what a bull market will look like. There are several new catalizators for this:

1. SEC can't indefinitely deny spot ETF's. If they are not hypocrytes, they should approve Grayscale ETF. They can't even count the letters in support, let alone defend their nonsense denial arguments.
2. This UST thing with a Bitcoin backed stable coin at first planned to buy $1.2Bil BTC's in the next weeks. And they put their money where their mouth is - $250mil were already spent and probably that we see now is the next batch. Now they state in twitter their goal is at least $10B. And these BTC's will be removed from US exchanges and locked into their platform, like Grayscale.
3. If banks offer loans backed up with BTC's, or even better - a proof for owning BTC's, this means no need to sell anymore. And this is game over - BTC has won the battle with bankers, shorting companies, Western Union, etc.
4. For the citizens of countries close to Russia, it is better to keep most of their savings in BTC's, than to rely on the cash, deposits, real estate, etc. I mean, "better" is a weak word. It may be a life saving decision!

300mil high leverage shorts on Binance after the pump to 44k. I'm guessing the increase in margin sells is similar. Thus the probability of a short squeeze has increased. This should fuel the pump above the resistance at 44K-45K.

OFFICIAL – Luna Foundation confirms 6,000 #bitcoin purchase worth $250 million to back its UST stablecoin

https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1506683309388095491

They are planning to buy more with $1 bil. This was a tweet I noticed a couple of weeks ago. At first I was sceptical, but in this tweet there is a proof for this first purchase. More short squeezes in the next weeks are coming  Wink
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 22, 2022, 08:02:58 PM
ETC is on fire on Coinbase. 50-60% in few days! Currently there is 10% arbitrage compared to other exchanges. And since the transactions to Coinbase take days, it will remain for some time. May be this is the beginning of the ETC/ETH flippening. With the support of all miners, anything can happen. And there is still a lot of room for an exponential growth.

Then how the hell is he so bitterly bearish on Bitcoin? If I was in his shoes I would be sleeping every night in a Bitcoin bed with Bitcoin pyjamas on my Bitcoin yacht.
Proudhon=mindrust. There is no way with his weak mentality to hold thousands of BTC's all these years and to be so bearish. He is like Smeagol chasing his lost precious and becoming twisted in his mind.

As we are closing at the 45K resistance, shorts are getting overconfident that it will hold again. High leverage shorts, bear trolls everywhere - the perfect conditions for a massive short squeeze.  Wink But let's first go nearer to 45K. That resistance doesn't look so strong to me. Not even remotely close to 10K resistance which was a bitch. May be the next big resistance will be 100K? I can live with that for 1-2 years  Grin

Amazing story how ukrainians use drones and starlink internet to inflict heavy damage to rashist forces. Kaputin has no answer for that. His army is being disasembled mercilessly each night by 50 (!) squads of ukrainian drone pilots. Fuck russia!  Grin Grin Grin

P.S. And BTCitcoin is doing pretty well. An hour ago I've whatched a report on CNN about the stupid Warren bill. This was a good interview mocking the incopetence of Warren and praising BTCitcoin and blockchain for its usefulness in Ukraine!
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2022, 02:54:05 PM
Russia has lost one third of its army so far.

They've lost a 250,000 people? That's some kind of joke right?

Formations. They have 150 "battlegroups" 100 (some sources say 120) of them were allocated to the war in Ucraine, 50 have been destroyed (approximate numbers).

It is sad that a lunatic brings so much sorrow and death in our time. But it feels good seeing his army being humiliated by a relatively small army joined by regular people. I suspect Kaputin has no clue what is going on, because of the fear to bring the bad news to him. This is exactly what happend to Hitler at the end of WW2. The officers were afraid to tell him he lost entire armies, and he continued to issue orders and move flags on the map of nonexistent armies.  Grin Btw, I have no idea what vehicles will participate in this year victory parade in moscow, but I suspect that Ukraine will have tractors towing tanks. What a humiliation! Not a good time to be a russian  Grin Grin Grin

Some stablecoin announced on twitter that today they will start buying for $1.2bil BTCitcoins. I didn't believe the rumour, but the pump seems to confirm it. As always traders have no clue about anything and continue playing with 1% trades.

This EU ban is total BS. Pushed by some fatneck bankers along the russia sanctions. They so hate BTCitcoin, but are helpless. People don't listen to them and continue hodling and accumulating. It amazes me how things have changed. Only a few years ago, I kept all my savings in the bank and thought they were 100% safe there. When I heard about bitcoin, I started mining and investing, but only what I was ready to lose, as some advised. Then the EU banks took a decision to ban transfers to crypto exchanges. But it didn't stop nobody from trading. The ridiculous thing is that half of the banks allow transfers to crypto exchanges and nobody knows why they do so, provided that they signed that agreement. The same will happen with the current ban if it is voted. The world already knows that banks are not safe anymore, governments lie and steal, and a war can wipe out your savings in a matter of seconds. And here we are at the exact opposite situation: you have to keep in the bank only what you are prepared to lose and be your own bank having your keys memorized. No crypto, no stables, just BTCitcoin. Everything else can be frozen, i.e. stolen from you by the owners. And that is why, BTCitcoin will prevail. USA already realized that and we can expect further adoption, which may lead to the status of a legal tender one day.

So we've got over $1B coming in from @stablekwon and $500M coming from @nayibbukele in the next month into a relatively illiquid period, and no one is front running? Are we gonna pump this ponzi or what ladies and gentlemen?

Quite an aggressive selling around 40K-45K in recent days. It looks like some whale is afraid of something and throws everything including the kitchen sink to dump the price. Just like kaPutin is dumping his army and taking heavy kicks in his communist butt.  Grin Grin Grin

Factsheet on President Biden’s Digital Asset Executive order. It largely promotes studies and oversight but also aims to support innovation and strategic leadership to further the national interest. Seems net positive for the industry. 💪🚀 Source:

500 mln newly opened futures longs in the last day in Binance. This is calling for a new long squeeze. They missed the train last week, so they will try to catch it in motion. Good luck, n00bs! After they are liquidated I expect next week to get to 50K.

Well, this wasn't hard to predict. The usual long squeeze tax n00bs are paying to the casinos exchanges. Nothing to see here, move along!

It doesn't look like a long squeeze - it's a bit too deliberate.

Disclaimer: TA incompetent.

Now this looked like a proper short squeeze!  Grin

May be this time the short squeeze will be extended above the resistance at 45K. Bears are still way too confident and opened a lot of new shorts in the last hours. I see nothing but good news for Bitcoin, so the chances for another pump in the 50K area are good.

Have those longs been closed out yet? Regardless I doubt 50k next week, but back into the 40s would be nice.
Liquidated and stop loss closed. Nobody can tell the real number of realised losses in general. There are some indicators like glassnode stats or more basic like https://blockchainwhispers.com/bitmex-position-calculator#. Nobody can count stop losses and margin trades, which in fact determine the price in Binance. I suppose that those 500mil from earlier are liquidated/closed and the new 200 mil knife catching longs are being squeezed on the way. In the last year, the minimal volume of futures longs on Binance typically was around 1.3-1.5 bil. When in a short period like 2 days it jumps to 2 bil it is an indicator that the same is happening with margin trades. Basically this means that 500mil are waiting to cash out on 1-2% price increase. Which can happen only if there is some major buyer. If those traders make an effort to look at the volume, they will understand that there is no way a 500mil sale to allow the price to increase. And when there is no price increase, the sells are starting to tip the balance causing a domino effect of closing high leverage longs. The funny thing is that there were literally 0 volume longs activity before and during the pump last  week. So these losers are quite miserable and addicted to making the same mistakes over and over again. For now it seems that most of them are liquidated, so the recovery to 45K shouldn't be a problem. 50K might look too far for now, but definitely doable in 2-3 weeks.
