1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH Touch 500$ in new year? on: November 26, 2017, 10:50:32 AM
Most defintly, Eth is best cryptocurrency right after bitcoin, people really underestimate how good Eth is, and because how good it is and how many new things it brings to the crypto world makes it  the next perfecxt traget for investors and bussnies owners, right after bitcoin, and in my opinion the higher the bitcoin will go the more and more people will start getting interssted in the cryptocurrency and this will lead to ethereum becoming more popular wich will lead to its price rising up, it may not reach high prices like bitcoin where it is worth 1000$ or 2000$ dollars, but it will be the most used crypto currency, just look at how many people are annoncing the release of ICO's which are based on ethereum.
1602  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is on an uptrend on: November 25, 2017, 10:31:08 PM
It seems that all crypto currencies are now on an uptrend. Any fiat converted into crypto is booming and it seems to be a snowballing effect where more people invest and the value goes higher and higher. I believe this is because of the strong gains everyone is feeling right now and I now understand why some people think its a bubble.

But when you come to think of it, we are still early adopters right? Are there analysts who really project bitcoin or cryptocurrency value to skyrocket in the future? (aside from McAfee of course).
It is with no doubt that we are living in an era where the digital form of moeny is being used for everything, we use the internet to shop to entertain and even to buy food all of this is done through moeny that is converted to its digital form and this has led to the apperance of cryptocurrencies which are a mich safer and faster way to use money, a currency that is free from any goverment or bank curroption, and for this reson people are starting to relize how good they are and little by little it is getting more and more popular, and this made thier price become so high so it became the perfect traget and the perfect way to make some fast and easy profit while it is still new and still growing fast.
1603  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: November 25, 2017, 09:01:19 PM
I  think, that bitcoin is becoming more and more popular has gotten the attention of noy only invstors and big commpanies that are on the rod of making it a legit payment method, but it also gotten the attention of many goverments, some of which have chosen to support this new type of currency by making it leagal, and some others chose to ban it or limit it, bitcoin being not controllable by govermments or banks, and using it provides a complete annonymity made many poeple spectecul about it and ithink that in the next few years, we will have a clear idea on where bitcoin will be since it is going to become more and more popular on one hand and has a high value providing a massive profit to the users on the other.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do the name affect to the price??? on: November 25, 2017, 09:42:50 AM
There are lots of selling techniques to have a higher sales and having a good and attractive name is one of them. If the name attracts the costumers or buyers the demand will be high but the price will high if the supply is low. I think the name is slightly affects the price of the certain cryptocurrency but it needs a good project and the other selling techniques. If the cryptocurrency reach the highest demand, I think it will boom the price. Name affects the price but it should be accompanied by other techniques to make a cryptocurrency successful.
I agree, the name alone does not affect the price, a few years back when people didn't know shit they would ahve fallen for another cheap product made by a big company, today people ahave learned from past experiences and a long trial and error and they usally they don't rush in just for a product from a big name company, take for exemple bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold, these tow crypto currencies were derived from the bitcoin, they haven't been successfull at launch but when the devs lowers their mining difficulty they started having some progress, and that proves this point.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to all coins when bitcoin reach to 10k? on: November 25, 2017, 09:17:05 AM
Some one please tell me !
Thank you Grin
Well i think nothing is gonna happen except the fact that as soon as bitcoin reaches that mile stone it will gain more and more attention and more people will start investing not just in bitcoin but in cryptocurrency in all, because you see since bitcoin reached 1000$ or so it became hard to mine, a normal person with a norml computer can't mine it, and buying it would be so expensive, the only way to reach it is by exchanging other coins that are easier to mine and easier to reach, and bitcoin reaching 10k will only make people use altcoins even more so they can get bitcoin.
1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is King on: November 24, 2017, 11:06:29 PM
I think that Bitcoin cash had a slight increase because devs forced it to be so, at first iat launch it was not that succefull because people thought that it was going to be another altcoin derived from bitcoin, but after a week or so, the diificulty of mining it has gone down compared to bitcoin which at the time witnessed an increase in both fees and transaction time so people switched to mining bitcoin cash for few dyas and that realy gave it a push in price which increased thye number of people using it, and now bitcoin cash is starting to become successesfull.
1607  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like heroin on: November 24, 2017, 08:41:23 PM
Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.
You got it all wrong those type of drugs only do damage to your organism, while if bitcoin is done correctly it will only be beneficial for you, you are reading too much into this, bitcoin is just a currency, I do not get any kind of thrill by holding bitcoin at all.
If anything bitcoin should be compared to is gambling, having bitcoin and saving it is like gambling because you always want to keep saving and keep on greeding each time you see the price of the bitcoin going up, and always there is just a bit more, until some day the price might fall and lose, the addiction that is tied to bitcoin is nothing compared to the addiction of gambling or drugs because, you are not hurting anyone or you are not losing anything, it is just there if you are lucky you will get more profit as long as you have it.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins to buy today and why on: November 20, 2017, 06:52:39 PM
Hello,

If I visit this website it is almost always to have an idea what the trends are and what coin is a steal.
Hopefully you guys think the same please use this to tell what coin you just bought or you would buy and why.

For me it is today 17-11-2017:

Komodo: price dropped severely and the dev team is good and I believe it will rise again in the near future.
Vertcoin: This is the peoples coin and as it dropped to +/- 53000 Sat. it is a bargin now.

thx for your input guys.
In my opinion I think that ethereum is the best coin to buy today, this coin have seen a massive development in the past few months, and people have been focusing all their effort and resources toward bitcoin, even though this coin offers a lot of features that bitcoin does not and that is letting people create their own tokens which can be helpful for a lot of projects, and for that it makes it the next popular cryptocurrency after bitcoin and that is why it is worth investing some money into it right now since it is not that expensive, and just to back up my theory look at all the ICO s that are being created, and look at how much money is being pumped into these projects.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: November 20, 2017, 05:53:37 PM
Hello family, I need to take an informed decision on this issue

With the present challenges with the blockchain technology and its present congestion ,

Is it still safe, wise and as profitable as before to start a fresh bitcoin investment?

I'm thinking that investing in a number of the other several altcoins might be much better

Pls I need your thoughts and opinions on this....thanks
Well if we are talking about safety wise all the cryptocurrency are a bit risky to invest in some more than others, but this risk comes at the cost of profit, investing in cryptocurrency espascially in bitcoin can get you some really good and fast profit, so if you are asking which is better to invest in for profit and with less risk i would say bitcoin, because the other coins people only use them as backdoors to bitcoin they mine and try to get ethereum or litecoin or whatever other cryptocurrency there is just to exchange them to bitcoin because it is starting to be hard to get, but all in all cryptocurrency is becomining more and more sort of the new era investment, because people know that soon papaer moeny will disapear and digital money will take place.
1610  Economy / Economics / Re: Massive bitcoin manipulation possible? on: November 20, 2017, 04:48:40 PM
Would it be possible for a group of extremely rich billionaires & other powerful individuals to manipulate the bitcoin market? e.g. Pump and dump, exposure to news networks, lobbying for favourable bitcoin regulation, etc Huh
It is possible to do so but they would all have to have a large amount of bitcoin, the bitcoin market is not that big since there is a limited amount of btc cerceling the market, but the alone can't have a massive impact on the price not like bring it down to a low price or hold it until it is crazy high, because bitcoin is controlled by everyone who uses it and the blockchain netowrk, if the demand strats getting high and there is not fullfiling it the mining difficulty will go down and thus bring the price down, and same goes the otehr way around, the blockchain system was meant to keep the netowrk as balanced as possible so no one can controll it and this making it as decentrelized as it could be.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Many ICOs — What Does It All Mean? on: November 20, 2017, 04:16:41 PM
The world of cryptocurrencies has exploded like never before in 2017. The price of Bitcoin has catapulted to over $7000 for the first time in its history. There has also been an increase in the number of initial coin offerings (ICOs). According to CoinDesk, since Jan 2017, ICOs went from roughly $300 million raised in total since they began in 2014, to $2.7 billion raised as of October.

Read more about it here
Well for me it is no suprise that there is so much money getting piped into the cryptocurrency, i mean since the dramatic increase of bitcoin's price people have been eager to know more about it and it acted as a bridge to intrduce poeple into more  cryptocurrencies liek ethereum which proved to be the best option for developpers and new project founders to get some kick starters and begin their projects, and this by being able to create their own tokens using ethereum and sell them to people, and there is no suprise that we will see more and more poeple going in into this new industry and this new market that is the cryptocurrency.
1612  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: November 20, 2017, 03:54:38 PM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
For hundred of years people have used gold as a type of currency and meterial that where ever you goi in the world you can spend it, but with the evelotion of civilization and the industrial revolution currencies changed from gold to papaer and coins and every country had its own currency, so gold became somthing that is used for jewelery and it being somewhat rare to find its price increased, this lead to people using it as a way to store a large amount of moeny while getting some profit, which made it an unbrakbale market and it had a stable price so investing in it was without any risks, bitcoin on the other had is still a new idea and was only founded 7 years ago, compared to the gold which has been valuabe as long as civilisation, and bitcoin not being cxontrolled by goverments and laws, means that it is unstable and unpredictibale, which makes it somewhere risky, but i am sure in the future bitcoin would become the new age gold, and everyone would invest in it.
1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoin in a wallet on: November 20, 2017, 03:13:48 PM
which wallet that you use for saving your bitcoin, if your bitcoin saved at online wallet i think it have a risk because there are in their server(online wallet developer) and it have a chance to hacked by them, if you save your bitcoin offline in hardware i think it will be save than online wallet

But their is some safer side also to save and hold the bitcoin.Even I was using some site for long period.Coinbase is the one of the best one to hold your Bitcoin for a longer period. You can save bitcoin in coin base ,I gave assurance for that.

A lot of people are talking about online wallets not being safe because you don't have the control over the private key, but BlockChain lets you get your private key and use it offline, so for me i always ask myself which is safer storing my bitcoin in an online wallet where it is secured by a high level of security and in a server runed by profissonal, or on my hard drive on my computrer that is vaurnable to key logs and hacks and can easily stop working at some point without being able to back it up, and as far as i know i never heard of online wallets either shutting down without a warning or scaming people and taking thier coins.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can't decide where to play... on: November 20, 2017, 06:35:17 AM
Well I don't recommend you taking the risk and gambling again, because your luck will run out eventually and you will regret it, so you better quit while you are ahead, and holding what you have from bitcoin and waiting the price to increase is better and safer than throwing it into a casino, but if you insest on sticking to your idea I recommend casinos that have a wallet in them, ones where you can deposit and play, since the transaction time of bitcoin have increased and the fees got a bit higher having to wait for the transaction can make the gambling experience a bit frustrating especially if you lose.
1615  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: November 19, 2017, 10:36:00 PM
I believe that this would be the right time to cash out some little portion of your bitcoins, but only with the intention of buying more in case there is a correction in coming days, since the line of $8,000 could seem an important psychological level for the events of previous days.

But if you decide to continue holding, it is also a brilliant idea.
For last couple of days we have seen bitcoin rise back after the hard fork cancaling news, which had a massive impact on the price, and with the correction around the corner many would suggest to sell right now to avoid any loses, i personaly thin you sould wait and see what will happen because a lot of pople are looking forward to bitcoin reaching 10k before the end of the year and they want to push it to that point, so there will be a high demand a demand that will push the price, so holding it for me is the best option, but who knows this is the cryptocurrency market it is unpredicitbale, but it is better to be safe than sorry, you will always have a lot of chances of selling but a few chances of buying.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your fav long term hold alt coins? on: November 19, 2017, 09:49:01 PM
For me i prefer ETH to hold for a long time, unlike other alt coins that are constantly coming up and trying to be like bitcoin, etherum brings new ideas to the cryptocurrency scean, it let poeple create their own currencies and for that i think etherum has a bright future, it might not reach crazy prices like bitcoin, but it would defentily become more and more popular and the more and more vaibale it will become and for that reson i think it is worth saving and worth investing in.
1617  Economy / Economics / Re: impacts off cryptocurrency on: November 19, 2017, 04:08:11 PM
in my opinion the bitcoin affect the third world countries in a good sense it has improves the poor countries and provide better facilities and good business and job opportunities to the poor people in the world. those people who have skills they are good in computers they can earn good amount of money through this form if they are good designer they can design logos fof the managers and they can get much more
I agree, for me personaly bitcoin and cryptocurrency can have a massive impact on the world, and i am not just talking about how it could give an oputrounity for those who live in certain areas where the econnamy is bad, and not just giving a pourpouse for those who don't have a hob, it is beyond that, it is an idea that brings poeple together and idea that puts away all our diffrences and makes us work together under one pourpouse, and abitcoin is one of the great exemples of what millllions of poeple around the world could achive without the limites of goverments or banks, imagne what the world would be if people all around the world get paid with bitcoin, there will be no poverty, balance in power around the world.
1618  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your goals in 2018? on: November 19, 2017, 12:59:59 PM
My ultimate goal for 2018 is to be able to buy a property using bitcoin, i know that sounds a bit redicoulis but with the right amount of work and with the price of the bitcoin maybe reaching above and beyond 10k by the end of this year, anything could become possible, it is crazy how bitcoin had a massive development this year, and i am not just talking about the nearly 800% increase over the course of the year, but the number of people that have started using it, and how media actually started focusing on bitcoin which lead and may lead to furthuer adoptation of the bitcoin in different fields as a payment method in the upcoming months.
1619  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing BTC UK on: November 19, 2017, 12:17:00 PM
Well one way to do it i think is via a peer to peer exchanging servecie, like localbitcoin, which is where you would find people buying or selling bitcoin in all kind of payment servecies, either in real lifer or via paypal and i am sure you will find bank account deposit, as for a large amount you can simply exchange with multiple different poeple, and it does not have to be from the uk so they can send you money to your bank account ?, if not then you just try to find the ones in the uk and if that does not work out try  exchaning with people around the world via other payment method like moneygar or western union and then you can deposit the money yourself.
1620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: November 19, 2017, 11:11:55 AM
There is no minimum balance in trading though you will make smaller profit/loss when you hold smaller balance. I think 100k satoshi is fine.
I would beg to differ, when trading you need to take in mind the exchange fees, which must be taking of the profit, and with a small amount you would probably be wasting your money and your time, when you could'v invested it somewhere else, for me to start trading any type of coin you would have to have at least between 100 and 300 $, that way you would ensure getting profit while the prices go up, espacially for bitcoin, as for etherum it would take quite some time because it is not as volitale as the bitcoin market, otherswise if you don't have that amount i would suggest you keep it and try to find a way to get some coins through working or freelancing and then you could start trading.
