1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future is crypto currency on: December 22, 2017, 06:11:28 PM
I guess it is right that social media al so had changes with the rise of bitcoin. Bitcoin has been the topic that goes around especially in twitter. People have also been dividing their previously alotted time with for social media into it and bitcoin.
There is no doubt about it, bitcoin was the deciding factor, the reson why cryptocurrency exists and the reson why they are starting to rise, since it has been created bitcoin has had many critisism and every economist there is said that it is a buble and sooner or later it will go down, but after what people seen this year, after the massive profit that some people had from just saving and beliveing in the cause of bitcoin tehy were able to make profit that exeads the 2000%, and this made many people aknowladge the power of bitcoin and teh cryptocurency, and that is why this market has become the new investment for anyone that wants to get some profit.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is going down? on: December 22, 2017, 05:47:13 PM
Why bitcoin start going down and down will it goes below 10000$?
I think that the most reasonable explanation for why the bitcoin price is going down is due to the fact that the major miners have stopped mining bitcoin and this lead to the miner fees going up and the transaction time increasing, along side these factors ethereum, bitcoin cash and some other altcoins were having an increase, and this lead to some people switching thier bitcoin to these ones to make profit from it, there is no telling what will be the stop point for bitcoin but the others are going down and as soon as the fees strat getting back to normal, i ma sure the price will start going up again.
1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: December 22, 2017, 05:24:44 PM
Hi brothers.

New question for you.

What is your best way og gambling.

Real casinos or digital and why.

I prefer the real ones because i can drink a beer or some cocktel or whatever.

some of them have people singing and good mood...

But the digital casinos have some magic too, specially because you can bet in your pijamas...

so, what is yours?

Good day
For us all here digital casions are far more better than real ones, it is true that in real casinos have an ambiance to them, but in real casinos you need a lot of moeny to be able to bet, and this puts it at a disadvantge, because when gambling with bitcoin for exemple you are a ble to put as much as you want, and in real life you need to have an id which comprtmises your identity, while in digital casionos all you need to have is some bitcoin and even a 10 year old could use them.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: December 22, 2017, 03:06:26 PM
For and addicted gambler, no amount of profit will stop them from gambling because they are addicts.

For reasonable people though this is not true and one might stop after winning a set amount of money. But there's no end of greediness.

In my case, I will stop after winning 10 BTC because I'll be too busy Driving my Porsche instead of Gambling^^

How many BTC it would take for you to quit gambling and why? Or, if any amount of BTC would make you quit gambling at all.

The problem with people and gambling, is no amount is enough to make them stop, greed is a sin that is in our nature and if don't,r control it will consume us, if go into gambling with a mindset that you will stop after you win you are going to come back and try again because you get blinded by the fact of how easy it is to make the money you win, and always come back for more until eventually your luck runs out and you lose what you have got, so people telling that they will stop at a certain amount is a lie.
1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: December 22, 2017, 01:05:39 PM
i really don't understand how the price increase or decrease?i saw that price coin changes randomly. If anyone help to know trading,I will be very grateful.
That is the problem with cryptocurrecy trading, you can never predict when the price will go up or when it will go down, take for example bitcoin, at the beginning of the year it was 1000$ then it went down to 700$ and than quickly went to 2000$ and after 6 months reached    6k and a month after it 10k and than in a couple of weeks almost 20k and now it is down to 13k, the point is there is no telling when the price will change or how much it will change to, all you need to do is to be prepared and patient.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin expectation end of 2018 on: December 22, 2017, 11:57:04 AM
A trader just made a million dollar bet that Bitcoin would be over $50k by the end of 2018  A large trader (or traders) just plopped down a million dollars betting that Bitcoin would hit $50k sometime in 2018.
With what w have witnessed this year from the bitcoin price it comes to no surprise if it actually hits that price, last year bitcoin was 900$ worth a couple of months after it bitcoin reached the 2000$ point and in November it reached 10k, less than a month after it it reached almost 20k, as far as when the price will hit 50k it is no known wether it will take a year or a month as the growth is unexpected and unpredictable, so just hold your bitcoin and you will make profit beyong what you can imagine.
1527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell BTC for Cash on: December 22, 2017, 10:05:18 AM
Hello,
I want to sell BTC in Las Vegas. I want to get around 2000 Dollar, depents on the x-change how much BTC I have to spent.

I have to opportunities:
- Sell BTC to a stranger found with localbitcoins.com
- Sell BTC on an ATM.

The x-change rate at an ATM is quite poor, but for me it sounds "safe" to sell it to a maschine.

In general I do not have any idea how it will work. I have a german wallet on bitcoin.de and I'm not interessted in transfering it somewhere else then to the buyers wallet due to the high transaction fees.
What would you think how long I have to wait, until the payment is processed? I'm not interesssted in waiting a long time to get the deal done.

Any tips for the deal beside public area, free wifi and counterfeit money?

Thanks a lot!
If you are not planing on waiting a couple of weeks until this fee madness comes to an end, than you won't be able to get the most of your bitcoin's potential, whether its at ATM or in localbitcoin the fees are going to be high, so be patient, there is another way, which is through localbitcoi, find a person buying bitcoin hand to hand, and chat with him and explain to him that you are going to send him the bitcoin from wallet to wallet, and you can meet up and finish the transaction, that is if you are in a hurry to sell them.
1528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long awaited Bitcoin correction(+) on: December 22, 2017, 09:30:31 AM
The Bitcoin touched new max, the news about CBOE Futures - is Fact now. There is no new information about Tether huge cap. And loooks like double top on Bitcoin chart is drawing now.
My opinion is that correction will be achieved in the range 8-12 and then big daddys will open new long position with target 25-28 before new year.
What you say?
BTC

I disagree with your title, but agree mostly with the rest of what you said.

it is not really long awaited. we have had lots of corrections each time a rise happens. they are pretty common and they do occur. and most of the times they are indeed huge corrections of 20$ to 30% with a lot of volume going around in the market.

as for the drop, it is a different sort of correction this time because in addition to all the usual things that cause the drop, there is the ridiculously high transaction fees that bitcoin currently has. that never leads to anything good. and it can practically intensify the panic sell.
The price has been going downhill for the past couple of days, but i don't whether it is because of the correction or it is a strategy made by the network like last time to secure the network of bitcoin cash, but what I know is that many people ate afraid, and many people have started thinking about abandoning ship, and if this problem does not get fixed in the next few days than god help us all for what is to come from this.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: December 21, 2017, 10:59:29 PM
In some countries it is and in others it is not, no matter the case the whole point of using bitcoin  is to be annoynimus and be able to do with it what you want, wethere you want to gamble, or trade or invest that is totaly up to you, the goverment has no controll over your bitcoin action and will never be able to prevent you from doing it unless you go and exchange a large amount of waht your win into real moeny , and that will lead you to being questioned on what is their source.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will we ever see players transfer paid with bitcoin ??! on: December 21, 2017, 10:23:56 PM
From one summer to the next one,  the price of the players is multiplied as well as the highest player's price in the history, at least by 2 times. As a result, due to the permanent elevation of the prices of players , and due to the new emerging laws in our sports which is : money is every things !
Could we see some deals paid  in bitcoin ?

With bitcoin becoming more and more popualr and with its high price, it comes to no suprise if we see players being bought and sold to teams using bitcoin, they are after all investments and what better way to invest in them than to pay them with bitcoin, and bitcoin being a huge and a popualr investment i don't doubt that paleyrs already use it, they get paied a lot of moeny after all and i don't think they don't invest it in bitcoin.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what impact has gambling make in your life? on: December 21, 2017, 09:50:32 PM
In 2011, I went into gambling and I was trading in betonmarket, but I got disappointed after losing alot of money and those of my friends! Since then I have a serious fear about gambling and betting. But I have started developing interest again as it see that cryptocurrencies make gambling easy  and if I can control greed I can really make profit.
Well i tried my luck wit hgambling many times and i was successfull, but at the end i think that it is not worth the risk, see what gambling hade on my life was not bad, i did not go on a losing streak and get money from anyone to pay for it, i did not get addicted like most people, i saw what gambling could do to a man, see at one time i ve putt all i had from bitcoin on a fotball match, and i bet on the team that is wining on the last few minitues of the game hoping that i will win as the odds were with me, but just as i sent the transaction the other team scored and it was a tie, and at that moment i saw the money that i have worked hard for for a year fly away, but thank god because it turned out that the transaction was not fast enough and the betting closed just bfore it reached so it was sent back, and at that moment i decied never to gamble again, because it is not worth risking moeny for.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: People are extremely biased towards bitcoin. on: December 21, 2017, 09:09:40 PM
Most people here and reddit will defend bitcoin no matter what instead of looking at the problems. Every time someone comments something about the speed or transaction fees they will just yell ''FUD'' or ''Another attack on bitcoin'' but it's not always that. I have been a strong supporter of bitcoin myself but we have to face it, it's not in a good position right now, sure the price is great but what else? Insane fees that are not getting solved any time soon? I know the demand is high but the ones that are buying are just buying to sell eventually not to support bitcoin, not to use it. The demand will eventually fade away and what do we have left? An outdated bitcoin that won't be able to compete with better coins.

What makes bitcoin so popular is that it shifted from becoming a crypto based currency to an investment, as its price started getting higher and higher, so when asked about the common problem that bitcoin faces today in comparisoin to the other coins most people won't even bother with it because they don't care if the transaction is fast or slow if the fees are high or low, either way thier bitcoin is always going to stay within their wallets, the only thing that they care about is wether the price goes up or down, when it comes to high fees the transactions are verified by miners, and as we all know bitcoin mining has become a task only for the people that own extreamly powerfull machines, and with less miners comes more transaction more transations mean the more you pay for the miners teh faster your transaction will go.
1533  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 21, 2017, 08:14:38 PM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.
If goverments in my country actually give a shit about bitcoinj they will ban it, not only people who are using bitcoin in my country are becoming rich they are noly students and young people who don't really have a job so they don't have to pay taxes to the goverment, the local currency is becoming sday by day worthless compared to the dolalr let alone 17k dollars, i know for the fact that govermnts who can't controll the bitcoin and they are afraid of it so they ban others belive it is a buble and sonner or later it will colappse so they use it to their advantage.
1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with the price today? on: December 21, 2017, 07:01:32 PM
Things looked somewhat promising yesterday as it was holding steady in the mid-high 16k range, even breaching 17k. Now it's in the low 15k. What's going on? Are we still hodling? Newbie asking for a friend here.
Well with the transaction fees on bitcoin getting higher and higher and with it getting much slower, many people have decied to switch thier coins to bitcoin cash which at the moment shows some promising progress with the price going up to 3000$, and slowly this affected the bitcoin price, but with no worries we have seen the price going down a few months ago and soon it will go back again stronger than ever, so keep calm and hold your bitcoin, because if you don't you will regret it in the future.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is DEAD Again!! on: December 21, 2017, 04:30:41 PM
Many times the bitcoin price have fallen and many times peopel were wrong about it, and many will regret switching to bitcoin cash, it is no suprise for us that the bitcoin has fallen a bit as it is the case every year, and this time it is no different, after the skyrocketing price growth that we have witnessed this year, i don't belive that any man that have a slight sense of mind would ever risk abandoning the bitcoin, may i need to remind you how much was the price mast year, and how it fallen down from 1100 to 700 and people started panic selling and after a month the price started climing again, and those same people were posting how stupid they were for selling it, no need to panic and make stupid decision that you will regret it in the future, bitcoin is always going to be the king of the cryptocurrency and the price is always going to keep going up no matter how others try to be like it they will never reach its level.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Christmas And BTC? on: December 20, 2017, 11:19:23 PM
I was just wondering, to those experts on bitcoin, because I have seen that bitcoin suddenly lay low in going up, and now even plunges.  I needed your opinion.

Does Christmas or any holidays affects bitcoin?
Please elaborate. Thanks a lot
From what i have read and what i have observed over the couple of year of using bitcoin, is each december the price of the bitcoin starts going down, and this continues through the begineing of a new year, but after it it just goes to climbing back again, in my opinion i think this is due to the fact that most of the bitcoin users hold thier coins through out the year and wait until its over so they can cash it out, and this creates a massive dump that effects the price, but there is no worries because the price will soon go back again.
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: December 20, 2017, 10:46:20 PM
It has slow transactions and the fees are high, and it is the cryptocurrency frontier.

What do you think will realistically will take Bitcoins nr1 spot in the future? Bitcoin Cash maybe?  Huh

I really don't think that there will be any coin that will take the place of bitcoin, when bitcoin first was created it had a new idea, an idea that aims to change the way we use money on the internet, to give the power to the peopel and free us from the goverment's control, and also to make our lives much easier with faster transactions and lower fees, but as time went on this coin changed from being a digital currency to an investment , and with it come new coins that were trying to get the same success, the point is bitcoin was the first and unless other coins have better ideas they won't be successfull as bitcoin is.
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is future? on: December 19, 2017, 10:29:58 PM
Is ethereum going to be next bitcoin?
Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency and it had a new idea that everyone supported and still support it to this day, and that is what made it so successfull, so there will be no other cryptocurrency that will be like bitcoin, ethereum is a good currency that has a good idea and it allows diversaty in the market by allowing project owners and poeple with ideas to create tokens to get kickstarters on their projects, and from this idea i think that the ethereum will bloom and become a good cryptocurrency, it may not reach crazy numbers like the bitcoin but defintly it will grow even more.
1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: fee transfer too high? on: December 19, 2017, 11:38:16 AM
Hi all, i'm new to trading and i made my first wallet of bitcoin in CoinBase...now i would like to buy some altcoin but if i would like to transfer bitcoin to exchange like bittrex or other they ask me an high fee for tranfer like 12$ for transfer 100$ of BTC....is it possible? How can you  make good trading if everytime you have to transfer money from wallet you have to pay so high fee?  I did mistake something? thanks
The transaction fees and transaction time have been a major issue conserning trading bitcoin since it became so popular, the amount of transactions that hit the network this year is way higher than anyone expected due to how bitcoin increased in terms of price which made it so popular, and this has put us traders at a disadvantge because when it comes to selling and exchanging every moment cost us money, because if you send your coins at 10k a few hours later when your transaction reaches its destination it could become 9k, so i hope that in the future this issue will be solved and fess won't be high as they are now and transaction go faster.
1540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are the majority of the people part time traders? on: December 19, 2017, 09:19:05 AM
I mean of all the people who are trading do majority just do it as a side job for just a little profit or most of the traders dedicated traders who don't have any side jobs?
What type of trader are you?
Trading has many risks in it and locking your future with it is not a wise thing to do, in addition trading requires a decent amount of money to get started in it, that is why most poeple who are trading cryptocurrencies probably have other jobs as well, because lets say if you are a main bitcoin trader and you made a wrong decesion by selling and the price goes up how are you going to rebuy your coins, unless you have steady flow of moeny it would be the ned of the journey for you, so if you are a trader and you do it as your main job get a real one.
