61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency market - what are you doing in this market conditions? on: June 16, 2018, 02:44:05 PM
What are you doing right now in this bear market?
Do you think we are in a bear market or is it just a correction?

Well at this point, the correction is probably over and we're just not getting over the bears just yet. Though with how fast and how high the price moved last december, it's also possible that a correction is still in play. Patience is always the key in times like these especially if you've entered at quite a bad time
True and besides what we can only do now is wait. You can sell but if you know that the cause of it is not going to be worth it then choose to keep your coins/tokens in the wallet. Day trading could be an alternative at times like this but keep in mind that the profit is only little or maybe just enough besides it is riskier than holding especially if you don't know how to do it. It will consume time watching the market price and waiting for the price where you can earn profit.

I also do day trading and holding but I will pretty much prefer holding because guarding the market price is stressful. I have experience that the price of the coin I am watching go up when I am not on guard and it is very frustrating.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people afraid to invest in cryptocurrency? on: June 16, 2018, 02:12:14 PM
Some times I usually think of the reason people are afraid of investing in cryptocurrency, despite the its value and durability, cryptocurrency is a standards investment that will always give the investor the chance of becoming a millionaire due to its appreciative nature, people fail to understand the fact behind cryptocurrency investment, most times the people trying to invest may not have a maximum knowledge of cryptocurrency.

Maybe they have a trust issues because it is truly hard to trust things that you are not sure about it. Yes you can say that this is legit because you are spending a pot of time now in this thing vut if you are new to this you will of course feel the same way and maybe they have a history before that they have been a vuctim of a scam so that thing can affect the behaviour of the people so we cannot blame them if they do not want to invest in cryptocurrency. And it is our fault if they invested but then they lose money
Your point is considered since cryptos are in deep right now and in addition cryptos, most especially bitcoin, are used in fraud and scam investments. In our country, bitcoin is not that popular but since it reached its peak price last December 2017, its name made a huge noise in the field of investments. More people became more interested of it but these past few months had been hard in bitcoin because there are so many bad news about it being scam. Those who have heard of it are having doubts and those who have only heard it the first time are getting a bad idea and thought of it.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real-Life Professional Gambler will help you recover your losses on: June 16, 2018, 12:53:05 PM
we can see how he plays and follows his steps. but back again, it all depends on our luck.

Well of course, don't think that his shoes will fit yours. And don't be easily deceive by your belief that it will happen to you because it might not work the way you wanted to. I know we think to ourselves that if somebody can do it then we can do it also but this will be a case to case basis. Money is involve here and with just one wrong move everything can turn to nothing.
Right. There is no such assurance to win in gambling as there is no professional man in gambling.Everything happens depends on luck or chances.Maybe if you're just lucky that day then you could win series of games but i don't think that it will also happen in the next days because for sure the owner of that gambling site will also do some actions of how they can get profits.
The gambling house would definitely do something to prevent someone winning big consecutively simply because it is their own loss. Just like the other forum members, I have also watched the movie about gambling entitled 21 which feature the use of Mathematics, Statistics and Probability in winning any gambling game. It really is a cool movie because it shows how gambling games can be beaten with the right math skills but I also doubt if that could happen in real life.

The owners or the people that manages the casinos (offline and online) smiles when there are so many people actively gambling but hates it when a person win big in any of their games. I also doubt if there could really be professional gamblers, if they have strategies in winning a game I think sharing is not an option.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: June 16, 2018, 12:05:16 PM
People will just be comfortable of using bitcoin when it can be use in all transactions such as spending in day to day necessities, like buying goods, foods or even for transportation.Surely if that happened people will used bitcoin.
Yeah people can be accustomed in using bitcoin through that way but right now this seems impossible. Bitcoin is may be known and used by many people around the world but still there are places where modern technology can't reached. There are places especially rural areas where people may not be informed about internet, much more about bitcoin right?

Many people yearn for bitcoin to be used as a normal currency like dollars, euro and etc for paying everyday expenses but that won't happen easily. Fiats are used because the government approved their use and we know how much the government opposed the used of digital cryptos.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: June 15, 2018, 08:56:11 PM
Short term for me is much better and more profitable but with a great risk compare to the long term investment.  Long term investment is also profitable but all that we can do is to wait until btc price will finally rise.
Especially in the bearish trend and short term investment will be much better because if the price will be recovering again soon and then we can try to take our profit and walking out asap to secure our amount. Long-term is very risky right now. And i think that short term can catch the momentum on the bearish trend.
Well it really depends on the person doing the investment. If he is good in waiting then long term investment could fit him, he won't need to check the price every minute since his money's welfare will be judged on a given time but if he doesn't have patience then short-term is the other way around for him to earn profit in here. I personally take short term investment riskier than long term because the price could change any time plus the fact that it is also time consuming because you will have to give time watching the market.
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk Bounty millionaires. do they exist? on: June 15, 2018, 02:24:42 PM
I haven't personally met a bitcoin bounty millionaire but I know some people who have made a fortune already. They were my friends who joined this forum 2-3 years before me. I admit, there is a regret that I did not believe them the first time they told me about this forum and these campaigns/projects/ICOs. I could have made a fortune already  just like them but I entirely believe that how we become fortunate from here will be based on what and how much effort are we going to give. People have different beliefs as well as their own ways of earning here. This forum offers so much, from trading, mining, participating in different bounties and etc., we have a broad choices, it will be up to us where we are going to excel.

Most forum members are doing bounties and trading because these two makes up a good team when earning cryptos. The earning is not always that big but I assure you that when you received the reward from participating in a good campaign that succeeded,  it is up to you how you are going to make the most out of it.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see BTC over $1,200 again? on: June 15, 2018, 01:23:49 PM
A whole lot of you who posted above me apparently did not check the date this question was asked. What I can see from this is that the future is going to be bright than the present. The OP asked if we could ever see the price over $1200 again around 2015, and here we are 3 years later complaining of a drop in price around $6k. I hope some newbies can use this to strengthen their hope in the long term value of bitcoin.
This is clearly a proof that bitcoin moves forward as time passes by and that its price is getting higher and higher. Dump may be frequent this past few months but we should not lose hope and faith that bitcoin will surpass this. Bitcoin started having a low price and it needed years before it reached its position now so we also need to give it time to recover.

It is okay to be worried because it is normal for us who are investing time, effort and money in earning cryptos and learning it but we shouldn't give up what we had started in here. Our market is known to be volatile and let's take that as an advantage for earning profit here.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend less bitcoin/alts now? on: June 15, 2018, 12:32:19 PM
I still spend my btc. Sometimes I need to pay for some stuff online and the regular places I use have Bitcoin as a payment option so...why not? but it's just small and cheap stuff so it doesn't actually feel like a loss to me. I also sell some of my btc whenever I need some extra fiat asap. As for alts, I usually don't spend that much, I'd rather use btc.
I am not in very much favor of spending of any of the crypto coin especially when it comes to that of the bitcoin. It is because spending of the bitcoins will only result in wastage of money and that it is much better not to do any such thing as the market is quite low for now and that saving is something which can help you in having more profit in the coming days.
Spending bitcoin is very expensive when the market price is low so it is not really advisable to use it at times like this. If you are a thrifty person you will deeply feel the importance of bitcoin right now especially if it is the only thing you have as an option to be used for paying expenses, buying needs and etc.

I have altcoins in my wallet but it is also not a good time for these to be sold, the price are really on dip and as much as I want to buy something for myself and my family, I would rather hold for now.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why red again. It should slowly turn green on: June 14, 2018, 07:58:53 AM

a lot of people wrote in the beginning of may it will be a good month. now the end of may and everything is red again. From which month can we expect a week of green?

There are different speculations and sometimes it is very hard to expect and you will find that what happened is different from what you expected.  I guess we will be seeing a green one on August this year.
Speculations are speculations and no matter how much we want these to come true, we can't control the outcome of the events in bitcoin industry. It is not wrong for us to make opinions and wishes that the price will continue to soar high but of course, I am sure that there is a feeling of disappointment when things didn't turn out the way you wanted it to be. We aim to see green always but I am afraid that it is not happening for this month, might as well continue holding and wait for the rise again.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling in the crypto market on: June 14, 2018, 07:02:57 AM
I think the crypto market now seems to be more suitable for gambling than for normal life, as it seems to solve a lot of things like fast, convenient, anonymous and easy to dodge. the law.
Are you saying yes and no? Grin Grin
This favors a typical Gambler and specially those gambling addicted because they can do it anytime and anyplace, things that is not possible in past when you need to go someplace to sustain or Vices and boost your addiction

I believe that Yes this is good for the Gamblers but this only brings more losses and more hingry family,i know many gambles here will oppose but the truth is this is not helping people, this only favors the House and the gambling site management
It is a fact that using cryptos for gambling is more convenient especially to those who have limited time. It helps making the gambling life of any gambler more exciting and more classified  Smiley. Though it is beneficial in that way we must not neglect that one of the consequence of online gambling is increase gambling addiction. It offers fast, easy and convenient transactions making it also easy for addicted gamblers to deposit money for gambling without realizing that there are more important things for that money to be wasted for. It offers secrecy which makes it easier for gamblers to hide their addiction.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin market going to collapse? on: June 14, 2018, 06:29:19 AM
No the market of bitcoin is not going to collapse because bitcoin is much stronger currency in the world economy of digital business. People are spending their money in it and they want to support it more because they know that in this currency they will see a more brighter future. They will not leave it and they will hold their coins. These are some points which is making the coin more stronger.
Let us just say that what is currently happening is the cycle of life in cryptos and to be more specific, this is the cycle for bitcoin. Looking back, we will see that bitcoin had started at a very low price and then as time passes by it had managed to reach its position as the number one crypto. You will also see that the market price is not always going up, there are times when bitcoin needs to crash for it to gain more investors. Bitcoin price falling right now is creating too much noise which I am sure that the whales or possible investors are very much aware. The dump price will be a good opportunity for them to use pounds of money as well as for the potential investors who are waiting to enter this community.

As I have said, this is just a cycle so no matter how low bitcoin price go, it will not die. Eventually, it will start to recover again we just have to give it time.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone find out that you own bitcoin ? on: June 14, 2018, 05:52:55 AM
Bitcoin should be anonymous. But there are many ways to get the data of the trader.
Our identity can be revealed if the Government requests the KYC data to the Exchanger.
And this, probably already happened if the government Want to do it.
It would be hard finding out who owns a certain address because of the complex blockchain technology but I do believe that if someone put two and two together, he might somehow find a way to know who owns specific addresses. With alliance and legal arrangement, @dimastegar is right that the KYC can be used. We are attracted to using and earning cryptos because of the anonymity it provides but I do really think that no matter how much we think that we are secured, we are still not because of the internet.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: June 14, 2018, 12:22:50 AM
How much more fall is possible in price of bitcoins?

we can see bitcoin at worst with 5,500 USD each,
but this is not a hundred percent we can also not seeing that.
BTC may rise anytime also and we can see it 10K USD before JUNE ends.
We can speculate as long as we can but as far as I know, bitcoin price might even fall under that price especially if panic sellers rushes things again. Bitcoin is bitcoin and we consider it as one of the strongest crypto so whatever price it may land I am sure that people will sting cling to it until it recover again. We have been waiting for the rise since June started and we are halfway to it but I doubt if it would recover before June ends. This fall may continue and recovery might take time especially if we want to rich the peak price of $20K again.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best coin for long term investing on: June 13, 2018, 11:24:34 PM
please tell which is best coin for long term investments
[/b][/i]

The best coin for long term investing is definitely Bitcoin because it started the original crypto currency and with its stability it is very profitable and secondl Ethereum is a good investment as well for long term.
Bitcoin will always be the number one crypto for long term investments  not just because it is already popular but also because it have established its position and have prove that it can recover from big dumps (which needs  time). Actually, bitcoin can surprise us anytime of it rising unexpectedly and suddenly. It may not be on a good position now for selling but it is good for buying to those who wants to invest.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty platforms on: June 13, 2018, 10:48:50 PM
I'm just wondering how people get to know about latest good bounty program to participate. I have few platforms that I use such as
Bountyhive.io

Bountyplatform.io

ICO alarm app on Google Play Store

And lastly bitcointalk forum.
Kindly help with good platforms you use
Thanks
These platforms are enough for you to follow the latest bounties. Beside these, you can check some speadsheets created by people and shared in bitcointalk threads. These contain useful bounty information.
As for me, bitcointalk forum is all I need to be informed about bounty ICOs that are currently active. To be more specific, I always visit the Services thread under the Economics and the Bounties(Altcoins). I am also saving the important links in my bookmark so I won't have to search for it repeatedly. I suggest visiting the forum account of the campaign managers that you find very trusted, active and etc. so you will know what campaign(s) they might be managing.

There are sites that shows  ICOs that are active but I don't find it very useful for me so I always stick to me visiting those forum sections just to be updated.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why do altcoins follow bitcoin? on: June 09, 2018, 11:54:27 PM
In my opinion, altcoins does not follow bitcoin. The emotion of human follow the price of Bitcoin. They do not have enough knowledge about altcoin value. They just sell and hold based on the trend of Bitcoin
In observing the market prices, you may feel and think that bitcoin is literally following bitcoin as in when the market price of bitcoin is low, the altcoin prices are also low. This shouldn't be your way of thinking because altcoin is never going to go along with bitcoin. You see, all coins have their own prices and they are all volatile in nature. The fluctuations in their prices are primarily caused by buying and selling or in other words trading, and also because of investing. At times like this when bitcoin is on dump, other people are selling their altcoins because they think that bitcoin will affect it, in other words naive traders go panic selling.
