241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Technical Analysis: Bitcoin Pops Again, Hits $6400 as Altcoins Go Nowhere on: November 01, 2017, 04:20:16 PM
You can't expect to see altcoins to have the same performance that Bitcoin gets. So I agree with other posters Altcoins are not going nowhere.
While it's true a lot of them are in red when you check coinmarketcap there are still some doing good. And in the crypto world, everything can change in some hours. Don't make assumptions about altcoins based on bitcoin because it is not relevant.

Right, we can't expect that the market price of the altcoins will soar up high too like bitcoin. In crypto world, the changes in the value of the altcoins are not directly proportional to the price of bitcoin. Altcoin maybe on dump now but who knows what will happen after few days. Crypto coins are volatile and even if bitcoin is high now it doesn't mean that it will have the same value tomorrow, it can fluctuate down immediately.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin Price So Fluctuating? on: November 01, 2017, 02:59:54 PM
Price fluctuation with bitcoin is a common factor, but what an user needs to focus is the end result. Here with bitcoin after price fluctuation gradually the price moves forward towards growth than going downwards. Based on the fact the fluctuating feature is the one that makes bitcoin more of a potential asset.
The price fluctuations in the bitcoin is caused due to their increase and decrease in demand in the world wide.We knows the bitcoin is a limited amount so the availability is less when compared to usd or gold so when someone buy or sell bitcoin it makes effects in the total bitcoin which is the reason for fluctuations in bitcoin.

The chart shows that there is a great demand for bitcoin that is why its price have fluctuated upward making it reach $6200. Instead of questioning the volatility of the coin causing its market price to increase or to decrease we should just be thankful. After all this is what we are all wishing, for bitcoin value to continue increasing, because it will benefit us all especially our holdings.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 01, 2017, 01:43:59 PM
Yes i think it is risky. Because we don't know what will happen in bitcoin later. It's either you gain a big profit, or you lose everything you have.
At least, spare some of your money for emergency. So you won't be totally panic when you're at loss and have nothing at all, no money because you already spend it for bitcoin.
Maybe you can deposit your money instead of just saving it? I think it will gain you a bit profit rather than just saving it normally.

Right, it will be too much risky to put all of your money in bitcoin. Even if the price is soaring up high right now we still do not know what will happen to the market value in the future. Investing in bitcoin looks promising and convincing for us to have a good fortune but still it will be better to spare some of your money. In case that something bad happens in your investment there will still be money left on you. Crypto currencies are so volatile for us to entrust all of money.
244  Other / Meta / Re: Decreasing my posts daily. Please help me? on: November 01, 2017, 12:39:12 PM
I experienced that too. I think because they removed the thread that I have been posted or maybe they delete my reply because it's not well constructed or my post is redundant.

There are many reasons or speculations why posts are being deleted but I doubt that somehow it is because of low quality post because based on my experience, when your post is on low quality they send you message saying that it is. Nowadays, posts are continuously deleted and I think that the reason behind it is because the whole thread or topic is being deleted by the moderator. We can't blame or ask them to stop it even if it is affecting our post count because it is their responsibility and work to check and see to it that there spams will be reduced or that there will no spammers.
245  Other / Meta / Re: account was banned ? on: November 01, 2017, 07:58:45 AM
One of the main reason why account is being banned is because of the indolence of the owners.  This is a forum where ideas and opinionsbare being  exchanged. We have to right and say our own idea and not copy it from the internet.  As fat as I know, it is mentioned in the Beginners and Help thread and as a Newbie,  they must read first the topics in this section for them to know the basic things in this forum or for being  a member of this forum.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: November 01, 2017, 06:58:02 AM
You can grow your bitcoin owings thru the volatility of bitcoin, so i'm checking the price of bitcoin, i suppose around 5_7 times in one day.

It is just right to check the bitcoin price everyday.  As a trader and a bitcoin earner we should be updated of the changes in the value of the tokens in the market. Because of the volatility of the coins I am able to earn profit by holding bitcoins.  Checking the market price will help me decide whether to buy or to  sell my bitcoin.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: October 31, 2017, 10:53:11 PM
Trading is still going on well, but holding of your coins now for a longer term is of more profit than trading immediately there is a pump or a dump,  cause every trader now is looking for a higher profit with the lowest risk.

Right,  I have also noticed that.  The price of the coins is continuously increasing especially bitcoin  and holding seems more profitable.  When it comes to altcoins the price are low after the bounty distribution,  holding or setting order in a profitable price is much smarter. Most of my  bitcoins comes from trading  and because of the fork the value of bitcoin continue to increase.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: October 31, 2017, 09:59:16 PM
Obviously not. If trading was gambling, then all the wall street offices would shut down after being in loss, because no one will invest money into them if it is considered as trading. There is just risk, which is true for a lot of things in life. Its just not a pure gamble.

I agree with you, maybe gambling and trading has money involve but the result is different. Gambling result in the end is zero, unlike in trading that has sure profit. And if we become addicted in gambling we always want to play even we have no money, we always want to come back for chances of winning or back some lose money. And if we become addicted in trading the result is good, because if we stop from the failures/mistakes we did not reach our aim especially in bitcoin that gives huge profit to the trader.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: October 31, 2017, 04:30:27 PM
I have tried to kw is not always easy to predict accurately my opinion though

It’s really not easy to predict the market and for me the only thing that you can predict when is the next pump is using indicators when reading charts. Trading is all about analyzing and you should learn this thing for you to make good money, also read some news cause this may help you know when is the next pump or dump of the coin.

Same with you, I always read some news regarding of those countries who want to invest and countries who ban the bitcoin. Because of this I know the time of selling and buying of bitcoin, or if in altcoin I choose the coins which is the best or possible become successful. And if the price is dumping especially in bitcoin I always hold this because it is easily recover based on I always experience and encounter in the market.

It is hard to do that but the information was sometimes help me in trading.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country still not legalized bitcoin ? on: October 31, 2017, 02:17:23 PM
I seen some big country started to legalized bitcoin like japan, but i seen some country was ban bitcoin too just like what i hear about south korean and issues about russian will ban bitcoin in next month.
But why they ban bitcoin and some country still not make bitcoin legal in that country ?

I think the one reason why the bitcoin was not legalise and banned in some country is because of using in illegal transaction. Bitcoin is popular now and very beneficial on some user because it is source of income but it can also used in illegal doing. By hiding their identity of the user is hard to detect by the law who used this in illegal doing. Additionally those countries who not legalise the bitcoin has a demand currency which will affect the economy of the countries by competing their currency.
251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 29, 2017, 11:55:06 PM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

I like your investment project. These coins seem to me reliable enough to invest in the long term, waiting for an acceptable return without too many risks. The only thing that does not convince me is your intention to invest ALL your savings in that project, which seems to me unnecessary since any investment always entails risks of loss, and this is especially valid in a market as volatile as this.

Always remember to invest the money you can afford to lose.

Right we should not force ourselves to invest if we can't afford it and also to invest if we are not ready to loss.  In trading,  we cannot guarantee that our coins will be sold to high prices or to its contract price.  The volatility of the coins is shown in a graph and it clearly explains what happened when coins are being bought ir sold. Trading is not always successful so we have to move on if what happened did not go the way we planned it.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 06:53:37 PM
It is not impossible that sooner or later bitcoin will be recognized and be legalized not only to a certain country but all over the world, it is just that there are so many involving schemes that made bitcoin looked bad. We cannot force the government to totally adapt into bitcoin and legalized it immediately, aside from there are also some conflicts and worries present, it will also took its time for its procees for the implementation of legalization.

Right,  for now we can only look out and be updated on the news,  after all we are all just the followers or the citizens who have to follow laws,  rules and etc.   The government is the one who has the power to legalize bitcoin in a certain country.  Even if many people wants bitcoin to be recognized all over the world,  it cannot be done with just one swoop of a wand. The word has to come from them.

Bitcoin is starting to be recognized by many people and if this continue there is a possibility for the government to see it through.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: October 28, 2017, 05:01:13 PM
If I should win a huge amount, I would use it to complete my Education & also upgrade my skills since these are areas I'm poor at. Gambling doesn't make you rich until you hit a Jackpot Cheesy

Good choices, but I would not be saying that gambling while your still in your study days would be good. It would be much better if you would focus on studying first.

Right,  gambling will just be a distraction for studying. You should not also think that through gambling you will be able to pay for your schooling.  Winning in gambling has no assurance and depending to it will be a hopeless case.

Might as well look for a sideline or any job that is applicable for a student like you.  It will be better  to depend on that because getting money in exchange for hard  work is much ideal and realistic than  depending in winning in any gambling game.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: October 28, 2017, 02:06:40 PM
Being a graduated student this year, I never heard bitcoin to my economics class because its not been  part of economics curriculum in college. But, as I first heard bitcoin to my co workers Im curious about it and as I research about bitcoin it comes up to my mind that it really been part of economy to every people in the society, that gives an income to jobless people.Even though its not been part on the economics class in college, I believed that in real lifes situation is been part of it, since the bitcoin is popular as of the new technology is been developed.

Teaching about bitcoin is not in the economic class nor the school curriculum because it is not legalized and the government do not recognize it.  If ever bitcoin will be legalized the possibility that it will be introduced at school is low because it is not a subject to be taught by school teachers but is a subject to be learned from experiences.

Another thing is that things about bitcoin can be self-learned so there is no need for a school and teachers for a regular person to know and understand bitcoin.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no role in real world on: October 27, 2017, 05:01:28 PM
it is very wrong to think bitcoin does not play an important role in the real world, so maybe you do not see a useful bitcoin in our life, but in the future digital payments will be widely used compared to fiat, that's where bitcoin will benefit our lives, do not think for today just think about the future too

Right if bitcoin has no role in the real world then people should not be spending so much time and effort earning it. Some people may not see how important it is and how helpful for people who have financially but to us who are struggling just ro earn it,  we see and feel how important bitcoin has become to our life.

Bitcoin is very helpful and important to us today and I believe that it will be more than that in the future. Bitcoin will become bigger in the future and it will be valued in the future.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: October 27, 2017, 03:04:01 PM
I suggest to keep keep bitcoin for a long time, I say so because bitcoin prices will continue to be expensive because of limited stock while demand continues to rise.
well if we are going to put bases on the last past year we can all see that bitcoin is really rising .and it its now really on top .that is why if we are going to put bases to the past maybe spending bitcoin today will be a big loose for tommorow and it is really a huge looses .in case if we have many btc i think we must save btc for the next coming year.

I agree with that.  The chart clearly shows that the price of bitcoin continue to rise and I believe that it will continue to rise even more. Spending bitcoins today especially if not needed will only be a loss.  Many people are getting interested to bitcoin now,  they are starting to recognize it now which may result to increase of bitcoin demand.  Earning bitcoin is not as easy as what other people thinks,  it demands time and effort.  We should think twice even thrice before deciding to spend it.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: October 27, 2017, 07:56:20 AM
I am starting trading some month ago.Bought some alta coin but now all alta coin are down and i donot understad what can i do?I get a big lose if i sell this.So how control my mind ? Cry Cry

In trading it takes patience and tranquility in emotions if you buy at a high price then the price down is normal, many people who experience it like you better calm down and be patient waiting until the price goes up again.

Right,  patience is needed in trading coins but still holding emotions are sometimes hard especially if the price keeps going down.  What I do is just set my order whenever I trade.  I don't watch over the price so that I will not be displeased if the price  keeps going down.  I go back to the exchanger after an hour just to check if my order is processed.

In trading,  if you are not able to control your emotion you will always end up selling your coins at lower prices and loss the opportunity or the chance on earning good profit.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 25, 2017, 10:05:07 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

I don't have any children therefore I am not saving bitcoins for them for now. I am doing it for only myself. If I have children in the future, I will write a testament for them and give them all of my wallet passwords and keys in this paper. Obviously it will be need that I have to explain them what is bitcoin and how to get money with it. But I believe that my children will know bitcoin before I die

Bitcoin is becoming a trend now and if the popularity continues it is not impossible then that before your children will be born,  bitcoin is already acknowledge therefore your children will know bitcoin before you die. As of now,  many people have been attracted to bitcoin because of its big price hike and if bitcoin continue making nose.  The future will be full of bitcoin or crypto currencies.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: October 25, 2017, 07:08:42 PM
We all can lose in gambling  and lose our money but shall we stop or try to win back what we lost ?

This is a very dangerous mentality one that can lead you on being a problem gambler if not properly handled and if you let emotions get off and move your decisions based on your emotions. WInning is good but it should never because you want to take your lost money as that way you’ll end up loaing more
It is really a very dangerous mentality. Winning back losses has ended up making a whole lot of people wrecked till date cause if you cannot control yourself, you will keep wanting to play that huge game to see if you can quickly recover all you must have lost in the past until you keep losing everything over and over again.

I recently had 18 streaks of losses on playing dice on LO, but those are the crazy parts of the game, and if losses cannot be stomached, then no one should even bother gambling when you know the possibilities of you loosing is high.

Yes I agree that we shouldn't try to win back what we had lost in the previous bet that we make if you are betting, take out to your mind what you have previously lose because it can surely make you want to try and get that have been gone, I think it is good to have your mind set like that, because you can not do that winning is not consistent in gambling and you just need let it go,

Actually,  it is not a necessary action to do after losing from a gambling game.  It is not necessary to recover what has been loss because if we are going to  based it from real experiences,  most of them will say that it will only make the amount bigger.  Trying to win back will most likely lead to loss again.  So if I were in that place,  I am not going to force myself.
260  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Pending Withdrawal on Cryptopia on: October 25, 2017, 06:04:22 PM
For how long has it been pending? Have you approved the transaction in your email?

My previous withdrawal took less than an hour to reach my wallet. If the withdrawal is taking too long, better contact support to check on it.

I'm an idiot. Just checked my mail, and there it was.

Thank you! Smiley

Ok thats good, Because they only take like 1 business day to complete the transaction. Cryptopia is comparatively good and do process withdrawals fast.

I was quite shocked when I read the topic title.  I have used Cryptopia for exchanging many times and I never had any problem to it. Actually,  it was the best exchanges I have used.  The design is just right for the eyes and the interface is user-friendly.  The page loads faster and it also has lower transaction fees than the other exchanges.  The authentication and the verification email before withdrawing makes it more secure in preventing other people to use my account in there as well as to withdraw money from it.
