121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has dropped so invest more on: May 31, 2018, 09:11:02 AM
For me, this time is is the best time to really invest in bitcoin. We have to be really open minded and become a risk taker when we want to earn big time. And with this, I know that bitcoin is going to recover again in no time. Let us just wait and you will see those those who did not buy bitcoin during this season of investment will regret and be our first customers.
Anytime could be the best time for us to invest in bitcoin because we don't know what will the price exactly be in the next hours, days, weeks and etc.

We tend to think more of investing when the price is at dump because this will surely give a bigger profit when the price rises. We can invest now if we want because the price is still considered at dump after the price growth of $20 000 but it could also make you double-think. You see, the $20 000 price growth is too high and bitcoin now is having a hard-time rising again. Anyways, people still accept and believe that bitcoin will grow more in the future even if the fluctuations now is mostly down.

122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: May 31, 2018, 07:48:00 AM
For me, participation in the bounty tends to one of the investment and jobs. Yeah, in this case, we intend to invest our time and the energy for the sake of fulfilling the task and rules. Although many people consider that bounty hunters are just the people who want to earn the free money, I really don't think so. Every bounty hunter is working to make the ICO that they promote successfully and introduce them tot he community.
Investment is not just about money so all bounty participant are literally doing an investment by promoting and wearing the signature of the bounty. We all want to earn money but not all of us can afford to use money as a capital.

All we do here is investing already, even just allotting time for reading is investing time already. People should remove this way of thinking that bounty participants are just for earning money because it is somehow being unfair. We do our best and what we can to earn money and as long as it is legal, bounty hunting and bounty participants should be treated as a job already.

124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 30, 2018, 11:53:31 PM
Oh definitely I am into regular gambling - there is nothing like a game with a group of good friends. The money is not really important in that case. Gambling with machines (and online gambling in particular) has a completely different flavour to me, it is not my thing, really.
Yeah traditional gambling is more fun when you play with your friends because earning profit is less more important. It can also be played with your family which can become a family bonding but of course there are people who thinks badly about gambling. It maybe because of norms/religion/personal beliefs/knowing the negative effects of gambling which in result make gamblers become sinners to the eyes of other people. These people who wouldn't want to let others know that they are gambling especially to their family would prefer online gambling than the traditional. Others who do gambling online, maybe don't have the time to perform it traditionally. Besides, online gambling can be quite attractive now because of the bonuses and the environment of the gambling site which can make you feel like you are in a casino too.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Ways you are using to Promote bitcoins in you Locality? on: May 30, 2018, 11:12:34 PM
Only one, word of mouth. That is, if they inquire about it. I don't go around anymore telling people how great Bitcoin or the cryptocurrency market is. I tried it in the past but I got shut out! So I realized, why bother?! They're not my responsibility anyways! Why create a burden that could slow me down or stress me out? Why go to them, when they can come to me?! Let them make the initiative this time. I'm tired of convincing others. They'll see the changes in me. That I think will be the best way to promote this system.
It is not like that we, who already know about bitcoin and is already earning bitcoin, have a responsibility to do things like that. To walk around and talk about crypto earning. Honestly, they can hear about bitcoin on news, local and foreign, social media sites and etc. so even if we do not do the talking, bitcoin will likely do the talking itself. What will be important is the matter of interest because even if we preach how profitable bitcoin earning is, it will not be profitable for them if they don't believe.  With the modern technology, more ways are available now for people to earn money without doing interviews and regular employment but not all people see it like this.

Now, I do agree that it is best to let people hear about bitcoin somewhere else especially now at this rate. Let them the one who will come to you because that means that they have interest already.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staying away from Bitcoin for 5 years on: May 30, 2018, 03:42:46 PM
The way Bitcoin is going, $1000 to $20,000 and then to $6,500 and all the bans worldwide and Bitcoin used in many kinds of criminal activities.

I will come back to Bitcoin after 5 years. If Bitcoin is there, it will go the silver way. Just as Silver was $80/ounce in 1980, Bitcoin can go back to $400.
If you are going to stop using or buying bitcoin now and then come back after 5 years, I sure you will regret those years that you don't believe with bitcoin. Think twice about your decision before you do it, because whoever knows? Bitcoin will reach high up again and you will regret that you don't buy today with a small amount of bitcoin.
Leaving crypto business for that long is a big decision so someone should think about it thoroughly. Many of us believe that bitcoin will do better for the next coming years and if this happens, staying away for five years will surely bring regrets. We think like this because of the market history of bitcoin where this coin started for a very low value and shown a big improvement for the past years especially in the market price. There is a possibility that bitcoin will suffer again a huge growth despite the bad news and struggles that it is facing.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: May 30, 2018, 02:58:07 PM
Is price of the altcoin is based on price of the bitcoin?I have noticed the price of bitcoin falling down for past few days on same the price of altcoins are also falling down

indeed in these last months bitcoin prices and all altcoin have a very sharp decline. but in my opinion bitcoin price down does not have the same effect altcoin price drop in bitcoin prices can be influenced as much or at least the investors. the price of bitcoin can be caused by less its investors and also because there are negative issues about bitcoin.

True, it may look like that when bitcoin price changes, the altcoin prices changes too but it doesn't work this way. Bitcoin prices only have an affect on altcoin prices, sometimes there are altcoins who would retain their good prices even if bitcoin is at dump giving the investors option whether to invest on it or not. Every digital coin is volatile and even if bitcoin is reigning as the number one crypto, price is still based on how a specific token is lose/gain investors in the market.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has past few months affected your gambling? on: May 30, 2018, 02:00:51 PM
unfortunately I have not played gambling for a long time not because I do not want to but because I do not have time to play gambling at the moment but I still hear some of the latest news in gambling that uses crypto for betting tools and that's good enough because the profit is not just when gambling but when the outcome of gambling we invest long-term.
Most of my free time is occupied by doing school works and now, school works and reading about cryptos so I really don't have time for gambling. I have been reading in these forum and I know that there are people who have made fortune through gambling like betting games but I think I do not have that kind of luck. I won't risk my money in gambling and would rather wait for a profit even if it takes a long time.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: May 29, 2018, 11:46:29 PM
Business is pretty amazing, investing is great in term of profit making. Saving is not that profitable especially if you put it in the bank so make sure not to put too much money on your savings, it in a time deposit account if you already have crypto investments just so that you can be sure that your emergency funds are safe from the volatility of this market
I don't think that there is a way for you to make your funds safe from the volatility except by converting it into fiat already. This is a good for "assurance" but of course it make you lose the opportunity to get profit for that certain amount.

Crypto investments may look easy but it is not because we have a very unpredictable market. Others say that whales or big-time investors gets better and larger profit because they have the money to maybe control the price but for me it is just a strategy and a good strategy indeed.

132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: May 05, 2018, 08:04:11 AM
I wish it would recover soon! Found this article on a good reason why it could soon be up and running again!
One word: Rockefellers.

https://medium.com/@Pecunio/why-rockefeller-joins-the-crypto-craze-eb9392c87e25
Well, some times the bitcoin price starts to improve, but when the price reaches $ 7100, the price will dump. well, whatever happens, but right now the bitcoin price is starting to rise again. hopefully this makes the price higher.
Bitcoin is starting to recover from the huge dump that started in the first month of the year.  We are surely happy about it but of course, we still worry because the price might go down again anytime.  For the past days,  the price rises but suddenly dumps also making it to look like that the volatility can suddenly start acting up again.  I have never seen bitcoin price to stay the same for two  weeks especially if it is high.

For now,  we might just want to enjoy the recovery of bitcoin price. It could be a good price to sell some coins.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: May 05, 2018, 07:13:12 AM
The biggest profit that I gained form airdrop is worth $1000 which is EXRN token, I also have one big regret from my airdrop because my old token BLUE which is from an airdrop hits $11000 now but I sell it in exchange two months ago for only $200.

Good thing for you because not all airdrop hunters are able to get a profitable coin.  Honestly,  I have  joined so many airdrops in the past but I only get tokens that is never sold.  I stop participating in airdrops since it is only consuming my time.  I also received Blue token but I needed money at that time so I also sold it for a low price.  It was a huge regret but I can't undo it now.  I am busy looking and joining for good signature campaigns now which I noticed that most campaigns ended up being scam.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: May 05, 2018, 03:45:06 AM
I think its a natural feeling and reaction when we lose not only in gambling. Yes it is, sometimes you will swear to yourself you will never do it again but then after you recovered from being shocked, here you are again. It happened to me not in gambling but in online games where playing consumed almost my whole day and i missed doing some works to do so i swore i will not play again but then i still play. Cheesy
Indeed true,  we can all be like this when emotions eat us up.  We decide and worst promise something that we ought to break once our emotions subsided.  This is the problem with us,  humans,  we can decide  about something that we haven't thoroughly think about.  When it comes to gambling,  it is easy for us to say that we are going to quit right after we lose,  especially if we lose big,   but we also get easily persuaded by things that surround us to do it again.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the rise you are looking for on: May 05, 2018, 02:26:25 AM
As we hope it to rise, always looking any rise like a saver but instead they seem like to a trap.
Just look at one month ago what happened from any graphic, from 7200 to 9200 it was a wild process it just rised too fast then everybody believed it is real and jumped, left with a bag in lap ,it came back to 6ks. So calculate well it s the same guy again moving, it will rise then another rise then a big fall. if it rises too steep that means it not natural, if its not natural grace yourself  Kiss

The difference this time is that the price of gold is rising due to geopolitical concerns, and some investors are treating bitcoin as digital gold, which is why it is rising too.
But after the growth, another dump, then same scenario over and over, just like this day while bitcoin almost reaches $9,800 then stopped..how many time do we have to see this pump and dump market..are they really manipulator?as the pattern almost the same, they will pump to encourage investors and when they bite the bait, then the price will suddenly drops again..wish to see some rise that constant for even just for two weeks
Well this had been happening for years and yet people aren't accustomed with the fluctuations of prices.  As what @carlisle1 said,  after a growth,  there will be another dump.  This is just the volatility acting up and if you have weak  hands,  you will always end up losing to the volatility.  As traders,  we should learn how to manage emotions and our investments effectively. Bitcoin and  cryptos are already complicated because of volatility,  you'll only make it more complicated if you won't understand the concept of volatility.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: May 05, 2018, 01:39:00 AM
Your money is definitely safer in the bank than in cryptocurrency wallets.  Banks are insured and you're protected from fraudulent transactions.  However, if you ask, which will give you potential higher gains, the answer will be cryptocurrencies.
People both want to have their money secured an gain big profit at the same time but I am afraid that neither banks or cryptos can have both.  Just like what they said,  banks are more secured but cryptos give bigger profits. It seems hard to choose but for me I will choose both.  I am managing my money earned from different campaigns by keeping a portion in an online wallet and when I gained something,  I sell it into fiat that will be deposited in a bank.  This way,  I both have the benefits that the two methods are offering.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin transaction fee keeps increasing? on: May 05, 2018, 12:26:18 AM
It is because of the demand from the people because the user of bitcoin is getting bigger and bigger and that caused the network to have a slower speed of transactions and the miners adjusted it by taking advantage of having more crowd and they raise the fee for the transactions into a higher rate so they can be profitable. It is just simple law of supply and demand.

Well it is the chance for transaction platforms to take advantage of the growing number of people who performs trading and uses their platforms. I also guess that it is because of the increasing price of bitcoin.  Everything seems in sync with bitcoin if you will notice it.

For us,  traders,  this growing fee is becoming a pain in the ass but we can't blame them if they increased their fees.  Just like us,  they also want to gain profit anyway.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: May 04, 2018, 11:34:01 PM
Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?

Actually, you wont avoid losses but diversifying will minimize you losses and will help you not miss any sudden increase of value. Its hard to handle but you just jave to decide to make long term investment so it wont make you hassle. I've been diversifying investment since January,  and it actually works. I got a chance to gain better and loss better. Its just a matter of allocation, better if you'll allocate greater fund for more established coins.
It may seem costly when you diversify investments but trust these people who have better experience in trading and managing their investments. If you would calculate it or speculate, you will somehow find out that losses are reduced when you diversify. You also have more opportunity of gaining profit when you do this. Diversifying is beneficial, it may be hard managing all of investments at the same time but once you get used to it, you will see how profitable this method can be. It is proven that diversifying could give larger profits and reduce losses but of course it will definitely depend on how you are going to manage your investments most especially your time. Finding a good coin for investments is not easy especially when it comes to altcoins so you have to study as in thoroughly study the coin you plan to invest into.
139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: May 04, 2018, 10:44:09 PM
Damn such a long story,i wonder how people now got crazy just to gain few merits, that even if it took them to make story telling lol..

It seems like youre the only member here that has this huge regressions 😂😂😂

The only regrey I have in crypto since I learned this community?is "why is it I didn't  believe this the first time i have been told"

Thats my only regrets and nothing at all
A lot of people are regretting actually right now since they don't value what they do have and just take this forum for granted until the merit system has come, anyway there is always a room for improvement, it is  not yet the end of everything so I don't think that we should regret things.
Yeah, many people are having a hard time dealing with the merit system since it is very hard to get a merit unlike when the requirement for getting your rank high is the Activity. I am also against it when it was first implemented but after seeing some forum threads where there are lot of new members who seems like just getting their ranks high, I realized that the implementation of the merit system will be very beneficial to make the forum healthier.

Aside from the regret of taking granted of the forum, other members are also regretting how they didn't believe at cryptos the first time they heard it. It is understandable because it is our human nature not to believe easily but realizing that you have let go of a good opportunity before is really saddening. Anyways, it is not too late for these people can still join us here in crypto earning.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: May 04, 2018, 08:24:27 AM

I think you should join the market because it will teach you skills such as managing greed and fear.
I think to be a merchant it's better to join the community in bitcointalk, because that's where there's going to be some who want to teach you how to trade good and good. because to be a trader is not easy and the risk is also quite large later
Based from my experience, it is easy to become a trader but becoming a good trader is not. It takes a lot of patience and understanding of the market, and dealing with personal emotions when you are going to trade or if there is a current dump is the worst part. I was once a newbie trader and have also mistakenly participated with the dump. It was not my intention to sell if it is not for financial needs. Bitcoin was about $1 800 back then and it always come to my mind that, "what if I didn't need money that time?". I could have gain a very big profit from that. Anyways, as much as I want to regret that move I can't because it already happened. The money was used for a good purpose anyway.
