261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins ? on: October 06, 2019, 02:28:19 AM
There are some altcoins that will have a commercial future as they become the central hub of business activity. Like for example Vsys or Libra.
Never heard of Vsys.  The potential of Libra is uncertain at best, tho and its not even a given that it will be released.  Plus its supposed to be a stable coin, and if so I don't believe it will have much of an impact on crypto in general.  Nobody likes a crypto that won't make a profit even if facebook churned it out.  I'm not saying Libra won't get used for anything, but its not going to be the next bitcoin by a long shot.

You need to get your facts straight. Libra is not supposed to be a stablecoin. It is pegged to a basket of assets that is - in popular economics - much more stable than any single currency.

And the creation of a monetary system is not fueled by the idea of gaining money as the instrument becomes more expensive, if it were that, then it would be a security. Money is not security.

The rising price of a newly created alternative currency (crypto) benefitting the "investors" is just a side effect of what the whole game is about.

I am way too sleepy right now to explain further, I suggest you google a bit.

There are some altcoins that will have a commercial future as they become the central hub of business activity. Like for example Vsys or Libra. While most shitcoins would just die a slow and painful death.

However, we will have a future where stablecoins become the staple of cryptocurrency-centric transactions. We're already 98% digital in all our daily economic transactional requirements, and we'll get to that crypto future soon if we all made a conscious effort. Of course, it would involve a lot of politics, but it is what it is.

Is it a descending triangle?

A descending triangle does not have a rising bottom line. And that chart is drawn inaccurately. You might want to fix that before someone picks on that. I made the same mistake a few days ago of posting a loosely drawn incorrect chart and was rightly about to get the boot to my ass.

MY post : #500359

Let me quote some of the replies to my post :

A falling wedge has a descending base, not a horizontal one.
That's  descending triangles....a beariish pattern.

(This guy's not 'normal' but he was the first to point out the flaw)

But the lines are not drawn precisely...
However, we'll see how the saga is to be continued  Cool
Just about to reload any day, so the price can only FALL after that  Roll Eyes

Falling wedge is indeed a bearish pattern. but that doesn't matter as this is exactly what graph "painters" want you to see! TA is not a prediction tool, TA is a manipulation tool. Graph "painters" use TA pseudo science to shape small fish behavior.

Yeah so .. you see?

No, fuck right off, I will not 'smear some smushed broad beans on a rice cake and top off with pea sprouts'. What kind of lunatic fringe does that? We're trying to eat healthier over here not have a fucken stroke.
Nor will I 'Try swapping out some red meat for pulses such as beans and lentils' I am not some sort of left-leaning lesbian minger.
As for all this unproven nonsense about only six grams of salt, I can't even see six grams of salt.
Refuse to even read the chocolate section; it's good for you and that's fact. In large quantities.

Well if you ask me all of that went above my head but I do have to say, that is some interesting choice of words there .. but since I understood nothing I don't know what to make of it..

I shall quote a gif meme - the first time in my Bitcointalk history.

For now, this shall suffice to justifiably showcase my reaction to.. whatever your post was.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 05, 2019, 04:29:38 PM
I should have mentioned if you do insist on interacting with it, this is the preferred way to go about it. Thank you for not quoting its text, I appreciate it.

Does that mean I am in your good guy books?  Grin

Of course, if you are getting paid in BTC, then you have different considerations including that you likely have to sell regularly, merely for your living expenses.

There are few (only nutjobs) that believe that anyone should be attempting to live 100% bitcoin when bills/expenses are most likely in fiat.

We are not far from a world where every transaction in life is done digitally. We're already 98% there IMO. Switching from this to a world where 90% (at least) of all transactions are done in crypto is not too farfetched of an idea. However, that still remains an ideal world that we few Crypto lovers want to see, until then, like you said, we have to deal with reality.

..

Hmm pretty much accurate with what I was about to say. Thanks for the assist. But I didn't see you around in these parts either. You are new as well?

This makes sense. Thanks for explaining. Now I see what @bitcoinPsycho was talking about. I wonder why the OP of the thread does not consider deleting his posts. If it is the sheer number of shitposts he makes, then I get it. It must be hard to keep track of anything in this thread.

I guess it is the numbers for sure.

And

Most people here have him on ignore for a reason.

yeah, I'm going to do the same right now.

You sir, you just earned a spot on my ignore list as well as my distrust list with this garbage shit.

..

Hey dipshit. I am from Calcutta. Did you just confuse that guy with me? Are you that blind?

Fuck off roach

My sentiments exactly.

Since you appear to be some sort of dindu, the word "racist" to any modern day white person is nothing more than signaling that you think the world owes you something.  Actually, you don't even believe the world owes you something, you just want some type of shit for free - a scam in other words.  Well guess what?  Your scam is a failure.  You ain't gettin shit!

I am not a dindu, but a Hindu. So you're pretty close  Cheesy - Although I do not subscribe to the notion of any religion.

As far as you thinking I expect free shit, yes you are also right about that, I expect humane decency, kindness, fairness to flow naturally from human beings. As if its a natural default thing to do.

But the reality is, the world is full of idiots like yourself and others that are more conniving and opportunistic. People like you make me sad.

So go ahead, twist this statement into something that it's not. That seems to be the only thing you are good at. I wonder why you do this, just so you can feed your own need to feel justified in your weird stances about things?

The truth of the matter is, you don't matter. None of us do. We either exist collectively, or we die alone. Which is your poison?

Rule number 1 don't quote the racist  Smiley
Many people here have her on ignor and don't went to read her diarrhoea

I'm new here.

Why her? How is that a her? I refuse to believe that a woman can be so vile. Women are supposed to be nice. What has happened to this world?

Rule number 1 don't quote the racist  Smiley

Rule number whatever; Do quote the racist so that they can never deny what they said.

Got it.  Don't quote anyone from the following categories who are ranked from most to least racist:

1)  Jews
2)  Black People
3)  Asians
4)  White people

Did you just put white people as the least racist? LMAO You must be drunk on meth.

PS: - So who's left? The green hulk or the abominable snowman?

If you trust in "stable"coin shitcoins... you deserve to lose all your money.

It's not a matter of belief, sir. It is a matter of putting food on your table. Stable coins help. Whether you like it or not, they will become the staple of cryptocurrency-based economy in the future. While Bitcoin will always retain its position as the best darn thing to invest in.

"Dats raycist" is not a valid argument, especially against the 100% truth.  Perhaps you should go visit a woman's hair salon where they only discuss down syndrome-style subjects pertaining to popular opinion and the Oprah show.

You just described a typical white people afternoon. Not sure what your logic there was.

Of course we won't mind, BUT... official hats are xhomerx brand only. Talk to him, maybe send him an image you like. He's probably willing to help  Wink

I like mine to be a little different from what you guys are wearing. So as to not confuse me with some of the originals. Also, as you can see my hat is about an altcoin.

People don't like an altcoiner invade this thread, so if I tried to get an altcoin themed original styled hat, you guys might as well drown me in a dark well.
I don't feel you are invading, as long as you don't start to spread alt gospels among the faithful   Cool

Drown people in dark wells? We never do these nasty things. Now come with me, please, I'm going to show you the restroom in case you need... what? Downstairs? Ah, well yes, the guest bathroom is in the dun... ehm, dunstairs area  Roll Eyes

Devil be in you sir. Out with your pitchforks people! We gotta drive the devil out of Eddie's...er.. basement.

I wish someone had done that to that nazi motherfucker down in PDX  https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/27/us/portland-train-attack-muslim-rant.html

No point yelling at 3rd world brown people who the Jews are trying to flood the country with to destroy it on purpose (The Hooton & Kalergi plan).  They're just being used as useful idiot biological weapons.  However, it is hilarious you cheer for the Muslims in that equation when their religion is 100% incompatible with all other civilizations seeing as how they're required to convert or kill you.  So which of those two options did you pick, mentally ill leftist?

WOAAAAAAAAH!!

No wonder you are hated unequivocably here. What a racist cunt!

Starting to accept that we may not get an exciting pump until late 2020. What are your plans guys if we go relatively sideways until the halving?

I知 buying regularly, adding to my stash because I know that we値l look back on the current price in 2021 & laugh, wishing we壇 bought more.

I cannot afford to hodl if it goes beyond a certain number. Since I get paid in BTC per month, I will have to immediately switch to a stable coin upon getting paid if things get that bad.

I hope they won't get that bad.

I totally understand exchanging for fiat if you get paid in bitcoin. I need to devise a selling strategy but I知 nowhere near even considering selling a single sat at the current price.

I always have to cash out after a while but I hodl for as long as I can. But these days prices are swingy on the edge of a coin, so I might have to switch out to a stable coin the moment I get paid, in order to not lose value.

However, it is still a matter of IF since there might be a bullish tendency in a few weeks, I, like the rest of us, might just have to wait and watch.

For you though, I don't think you need to be worried from such swings. You don't draw your salary at the end of the month in Bitcoin so you're safe from such swings and can hodl out longer. Also given the fact that you've been buying for quite some time, makes it all the more easier.

However, I think I can feel your pain when BTC goes south.  Grin Grin

The website of kialara.com is new, the maker used to sell from forum itself before that and through his blog.

he has done quite few designs ranging from $99 - $2000 but their secondary market value has gone upto $20k for some bars over time.

If you want to make something, work on your own style, you won't be able to sell much if you just copy others and change a little something.

I can help you out with sales internationally if you do, there are quite few Indian Collectors as well but am not sure if you would be able to sell many or all just within our Country. And if it does turn out as beautiful as this, many international collectors will want a piece of it. So i MIGHT just pick 50% of what you make to help them out.

PS - if you go with chineese mints for the making, be sure to include error correction in terms and condition as they make a lot of errors.

Good luck

I agree with the fact about not being able to sell anything within India. But I will give it a shot. I am not a professional minter so I will definitely have very little experience with that whole 'minting' side of the things. As in how to make this a loadable coin, vs the knick knacks.

What I do have is a connection that can cast any design I give them. I do the design, and he casts them. Since I have designed medallions for gaming tourneys (similar to the one that Dota2 gave away). Unfortunately, I do not retain the rights to showcase them as my work.

So how about I connect with you through PMs/email whatever, and you can help me make the first one. I might be able to create them one at a time, my contact actually prefers to work that way. But like I said, I will need help with things that I don't know of, would you be interested in such a collab?

What makes you think that it is an Indian brand, getting a .in domain does not mean that they have anything to do with India Tongue.

Not sure if you are pretending to be dumb or you just are..

Who said anything about an Indian board or Freebitco.in having anything to do with India?

The .IN subdomain was created and released for Indian websites way before Freebitco.in even existed. And out of all the .IN websites, I think this one one is the most popular. What has that statement got anything to do with your interpretation of my statement?

Please do not misquote people.

277  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 05, 2019, 11:15:58 AM
The abuse is not the not-depositing money, the abuse is the automatic faucet usage. Hell I am quite certain if you did automatic script that claims faucet for you just for your one account even that wouldn't have been a huge problem.
There is a reason why freebitco.in is still running strong when all of the faucets we had in the past died off because of many factors which include google getting rid of the advertising option for faucets and then the other major reason was the faucet abuse and most of the sites shut their door simply because of the abuse and i am sure freebitco.in have the security feature to avoid those abuse and ban those accounts before withdrawing the money, if not they would not survive this long.

I know very little about freebitco.in apart from the fact that this is probably the most .IN website out there. Probably more popular than any domestic / international INDIAN brand.

However, I have a question. Since I am particularly feeling lazy today, is there anyone in the history of freebitco.in that has actually won a Lamborghini? And do these guys have a physically acquired Lamborghini in storage or display somewhere? In other words, how legit is the "giveaway'?
278  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Physical Crypto Collectibles on: October 05, 2019, 11:11:28 AM
I love the dragon themed design. Very Chinese.

Did you buy them directly from kialara.com? - I wonder if I custom made some of these with Indian art style - you know flowers, elephants, tigers and all (classic royal), then would anyone here be willing to buy them for a higher cost than the base making + metal price.

Is our Indian audience that developed?

PS: Before you ask, yes I can make them. And by that, I do not mean that I personally make them.
279  Local / India / Re: Buy bitcoin from binance? on: October 05, 2019, 11:07:18 AM
You can buy bitcoin using your debit/credit card through Binance and other international exchange.

The RBI notice is for banks to not allow Indian Exchange for trading, you are free to do it as an individual. Also, they have no way to know/understand that it's being done for purchase of bitcoin, unless it shows up as such in transaction.

Though keep in mind the scams going around, and ofcourse the international INR to Eur/Usd Conversion fee, you will end up paying more. You can do better buying on LBC or other Indian exchanges.

I wonder what is the statement that shows up on the bill when buying from Binance. Probably it would be their credit / debit card processing company.

Does anyone here know which company that is? Or the name that it shows up on the statement?

Guys, I get a tingling feeling that we're due for another dip into the 7k territories.

I'm about to log off for the day, I dearly hope that when I wake up, this tingling feeling doesn't turn into reality.

The tingling sensation was wrong it seems. Glad we didn't visit the 7k territories. Would be nice to see something between 9 - 10k again.
