461  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a partner in a marketing site. [Need web developer] on: August 19, 2019, 03:53:43 PM
I am looking for a website designer. I will handle everything related to the business. The website will need updates etc and so you will receive a portion of the business which will be advertised off of Bitcointalk.

Why not hire one on Fiverr, if you have a tight budget they will create a simple looking website, you can start there, creating content is not an easy job, some freelancers are asking hundreds or even thousands of dollars to create customized content, and you want to hire them free for a future percentage, you can get a newbie designer but not a pro.

Really I just need a website built, it wouldn't have to look super insane. Just something that businesses could go to in order to see my services available and portfolio.

Why not try Wix then? It should be good enough for you.
Wix is a pain in the ass, really.

If anyone finds Wix a pain in the ass then they are incompetent. A 5-year-old child can make a website on Wix with it's drag & drop editor.

If Wix is too tough for you, then use Weebly, or Squarespace, or even good old Jimdo.
462  Economy / Services / Re: Need 1 Indian user with good credit history who is having a credit card on: August 19, 2019, 03:45:01 PM
..I'm from India as well ..

That's odd, never saw you on the Indian section before. Why aren't you more active there? We can certainly use some experienced users engaging there more often..

Including you Sardasa. I rarely see you engaging on the threads under the main board. I could be wrong but either way, we need to band up if we want to make that section a bit more lively, even half as good as it used to be back in 2013.

We're a go!

Campaign is Live!

All starting posts have been reset.
464  Local / India / Re: Let's vote for a new mod for India on: August 19, 2019, 02:32:42 PM
..

If you are not Indian then you will not connect with the Indians. Suggesting Joel to mod Indian board is like asking King Arthur to speak Bhojpuri.

Also, Erika can't be a mod with his / her tainted trust.

The only one from your list that I could support is Pramod. But I have never interacted with him

Besides, guys like Patatas and I are kinda short tempered. We need people that are more diplomatic. So I'd like to interact with some of these people that you have suggested, before I rule out any other Indian on the list.

I concur that Heisenberg as Mod would be great.

A new Mod would be nice to have but what we really need is some more initiative. Great to see people getting enthusiastic towards the board.

I do wish some of the older, well-meaning people would come around. Benson is one name. Who else do you guys know?
From the older generation, I think we only have legendster being active enough.. (Older generation...lol..)

There was one guy I hated.
He's a little trigger friend. But rich-af.
I used  to call him Dishwasher. lol but his id was Disawra or Dishawara or something.

Extremely knowledgeable about mining though.

Def. not one to moderate but would be nice to have him back.

Then there was Americandesi - the resident Ripple guy. Even had a ripple based forum. And Skang - who's a big shot these days.

infonetenergy was a frequent poster. I never interacted with him though.
Amitabh - the well respected phd guy turned altcoin stealer. ( I still can't believe)
subvolatil - the pink pony cypherpunk guy. (good guy)

dashingriddler - the guy behind unocoin if I'm not mistaken.

2 Legendary slots still empty.

Signature codes available, make sure you update them.

Note :

>You must post a maximum of up to 5 posts in Local boards. Not more than 1 post in Local boards would be counted per 24 hr period.
>You must make 10 posts under Exchanges board. Not more than 1 post in Exchanges board would be counted per 24 hr period.

470  Other / Meta / Re: Signatures & preview [Chrome and firefox] on: August 19, 2019, 03:51:32 AM
Just want to make my voice heard in the matter.

Even when I designed I faced the same issue especially when large amount of ascii art is being displayed on signatures.

Now, for my LocalEthereum campaign I hired a designer to do the job due to lack of time, I am again facing the same issue. I don't use Chrome but now that I signed on to BTT with a chrome after ages, I see the same problem with every signatures.

Is there no solution to this?
471  Other / Meta / Re: Should Signature Campaigns be moved to their own sub-boards? on: August 19, 2019, 03:36:39 AM
Is there a particular reason why admin is not very proactive here?

I wouldn't say the admins are not proactive, rather it is based in priority, lots of cases are in the pipe line needing to be fixed and yours could get added but it would have to wait for the queue to be cleared. Coupled with the day to day running of the forum I would say they got their hands full.

This is a 2 year old thread dude, you can't even say that !

Yeah, I agree with this. It's not a pipeline issue.

Maybe it's getting delayed because the new forum software is finally in testing phase and doing any major reorganization in this old forum would be more or less a waste of time.
472  Local / India / Re: Where are the founders of Co insecure? on: August 19, 2019, 03:31:29 AM
It has been real hard time for bitcoin entrepreneurs in India. Many of them have shifted their business outside India and rest have gone into limbo state.

The only crypto-centric business that spawned in India and went out is Zebpay. Initially, they launched as BuysellBitcoins.

If there are other companies, let me know.

@OP

Its not Co - Insecure. Its Coin Secure.
473  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Discussion] SEC (Draft) Rules on Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: August 19, 2019, 02:50:58 AM
Pardon me. I am not from the Philippines. But I had a question..
Ito ba ang USA SEC o ibang Pilipino pambansang SEC?
474  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had $100 in what would you invest? on: August 19, 2019, 02:46:05 AM
This is subjective.

But if Bitdeer has its $100 slot available and btc price remained above $8k then I'd go buy me a mining plan there.
475  Economy / Reputation / Re: JSRAW and Me on: August 19, 2019, 02:14:37 AM
This thread was made so that Suchmoon and Lutpin could respond if they would consider removing the neutral tag.

Something that has been repeatedly used by trolls. Since neither of them are interested in removing it, it is pointless to keep this thread open.

JSRAW can do whatever he pleases to do with the information shared.

Thread locked.
476  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] LocalEthereum Signature Campaign (Hero/Legendary) on: August 19, 2019, 01:53:26 AM
Signature codes coming soon.

Keep applying.
477  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] LocalEthereum Signature Campaign (Hero/Legendary) on: August 18, 2019, 12:34:50 PM
I actually thought about that. But you can't enforce people to talk on currency exchange, especially if they are not actually exchanging. I don't want to clutter that section. More than what it is already.

I think @Parodium meant the Exchanges section and not Currency Exchange. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0

Of course posting in currency exchange is going to offtopic unless that poster is going to trade with the thread creator/dealer. However the Exchanges section is a good subsection for discussing about Exchanges and I believe that was why Parodium suggested it.

Ahh interesting. Thanks for pointing out.

That's one board that I have almost never posted in. I'll give it a thought and if I enforce it, I'll make the changes before the codes are published in a few hours.

Thanks guys
478  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] Yobit Signature Campaign / Sr. Member- Legendary on: August 18, 2019, 11:52:25 AM
Anyone complaining about not being paid was caught abusing our campaign with multiple accounts.  Any type of cheating will not be tolerated.

We have expanded our marketing budget and as you may have noticed, we have been running a lot of ads on coinmarketcap.com and wish to hire some quality posters from bitcointalk.org as well.

Bullshit.

I was part of your campaign's 2nd run this year and you never paid me. Never responded to the dozen support tickets I raised. Never responded on your Telegram.

So cut the bullcrap of you paying signature participants a dime.

Fix your act first and then come back.
479  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] LocalEthereum Signature Campaign (Hero/Legendary) on: August 18, 2019, 11:46:59 AM
My interpretation of "within the 10 days that this campaign would run" is that this campaign will (definitely) end after this first 10-day-period? Or is there a plan to run it for more than just 1 (10 day) period?

I already mentioned this. Please read the OP.

...This campaign is scheduled to run for 10 days and then paused for evaluating the results.

Whether or not there would be more rounds depends on what results the participants will bring. So its completely up to anyone's interpretation right now.

My job as a manager would be to ensure that the quality of posts is maintained. That, in turn, should increase the readability of the posts made sponsored by this campaign, in turn, increasing the longevity of the signature's exposure and its efficacy.

The owner of this site is certainly capable of sponsoring a few years' long campaign - provided I can justify that kind of expenditure.
480  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] LocalEthereum Signature Campaign (Hero/Legendary) on: August 18, 2019, 11:37:08 AM
Glad to see Legendster finally managing a signature campaign.

Maybe it should enforce some posts within the exchange section though?

I actually thought about that. But you can't enforce people to talk on currency exchange, especially if they are not actually exchanging. I don't want to clutter that section. More than what it is already.

However, 5 posts in Local boards and 10 anywhere in Marketplace barring Digital Goods > Invites & Accounts is a must.
