1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinTalk IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: March 22, 2019, 02:44:15 PM
Back to the pool thing, yes I realise now. This idea is dead because of no interested cricket fans. I may continue even if this is one person and also pay minerjones his escrow fees.

Sorry to hear that, you have worked in it well but the result is not what you expected. Probably you need to do something like a vote for interest first, ask who are willing to join the prediction pool. If there are many interest then you can start it but if there is less interest then you may change the event. Find the most favorite event first.

Cricket as a sport is not really that famous outside of India - if you really want to attract cricket fans then start from the dark websites that run match-fixing betting rings. Which won't happen as they prefer to stay anonymous - after all this is the country of Azharuddin.

Remember, innocent betting on cricket matches is a huge scene in India but that's limited to local pubs - Bitcointalk as a cryptoforum has not penetrated that deep into our society.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need someone who can help me in explorer development for POS+Masternode coins on: March 22, 2019, 02:32:13 PM
Hi,
i need someone to help me out to design a new explorer for my coin , please contact on @spider764 on the telegram.

Thanks

just contact my team on telegram : @RedRo0t

He is an blockchain expert. told him you know him from Zain.

thanks.

He is not an expert in anything - if you employ Seif/Redroot be ready to get excuses upon excuses.

He will claim that he has huge holdings of crypto this and that - don't fall for it. Seif is by far the most unreliable developer I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

I had given this user so many chances to redeem himself and he has failed me more times than I can count. He has lied, manipulated, spread rumors and irreversibly jeopardized the project I was involved (which turned out to be shit anyways).
He does not understand the meaning of deadlines, do not expect any updates or any communication whatsoever, even if you do it'll be in broken English which seems to turn out pretty fine when he's asking for unreasonable amounts of money.

If you employ this user, be prepared for excuses upon excuses, and to be ultimately disappointed in the end. Do not think that this user can be trusted with any work, no matter how small, as he will fail you. Any good intentions aimed towards Seif will backfire, and he will screw up your relations with any clients, intermediaries or business partners you have in your network.

First things first. This is not the right forum section for your thread and second, it is proven long ago that cloud mining is a scam. Now please leave the forum.

Come to think of it - all cloudmining sites are nothing more than a pyramid scheme and all investors are nothing more than gamblers gambling away at their chances of making an exit before the site pulls an exit scam.

In that regard - he is in the perfect place.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to track how long I can stay up and gamble-ify it? [No Sleep Challenge] on: March 21, 2019, 12:23:22 PM
That's a very dangerous thing to do to yourself dude, it may have it's consequences if you deprive yourself of enough sleep. Anyways, i use xiaomi mi band and it does have a sleep tracker when you download the app anf sync the two. It even shows how long your deep and light sleep is. If that's what you really want, for people ti gamble on how much you're sleeping a day then i'd suggest you get yourself one.

Not dangerous.
Tell me the name of one person ever that has died of sleep deprivation.

Maybe you should ask the families of those with fatal familial insomnia?

Really? how many cases of fatal insomnia have you come across in your bio-study career? Sleep deprivation in and itself isn't harmful - I don't drive, I rarely get out of the house I live in, I've transformed into a basic a hermit golem here lol - probably one that hasn't gone crazy for a magical ring yet.

I don't know what you mean by my reputation ? And after people's money?  I find that I have a fairly good reputation in general so clarify your allegations.

You can look at any of my interviews or articles or radio interviews or tv appearances if you believe i don't exist.

I suggest you come to terms with how this forum works first.
THEN maybe try and build a reputation.

If you are so gooid at predicting markets, why not start a signaling service? If your trades are good, money will flow in. At no point in time do you need access to other people's money to do that and guess what? you will actually build a repertoire with people here on this forum.

We've seen fake lawyers, fake claims, fake names, fake certificates - so no amount of 'text' you fill in this reply box is going to get you any money.

UNLESS -

You are ready to put up 120% of collateral for every bit of money you want to 'manage'.

It's like trying to lick your elbow - there are certain things you just won't be able to do physically, so the fun lies in 'gambling' on who gets to do it the longest - for instance I did fall asleep last night.

Also - any sleep tracking app in a mobile does not actually track your sleep. It assumes you are asleep going by your presets and inactivity.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Are you providing crypto marketing services of any kind? on: March 20, 2019, 06:30:35 PM

Hi legendster! The last question made me giggle a lot, I was in a hurry and did not re-read my message. I meant to write partners and associates.

The only ones who know about the project are the core team members in our office. I started amassing a list of potential partners, advisers and marketers beforehand just like a company would amass CV's and resumes before recruiting. I did it in a timely manner to get the most out of it. We are soon going to live with our project. There will be a one month period where we will actively work on establishing partnerships, acquiring advisers and looking for additional marketing opportunities.

It is merely just a bonus for our project we are interested to explore in the free time. I will let you know when we are going live and perhaps you will give us feedback.

You know what - I'm willing to hear more from you. Anyone that can maintain their composure when they initially meet me & my criticism is certainly worth investing more time into. Let's speak through PM / Telegram.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tried Stake.com on: March 20, 2019, 04:28:54 PM
So I tested out this website just now and couldn't even log on. The website doesn't work over TOR
Why are you making things complicated, just use a normal browser such as google chrome, with google chrome, I don't have any problem accessing to the site. Or firefox.

Asking someone why they use TOR is like asking someone why they wear pants.
Its for privacy reasons dude. Not from the site but from the government, spouse, parents, roommates. Gambling doesn't inspire confidence in other people when they find out that you engage in it.

Personal opinion aside. op is salty. I am not here to defend him. I hope he can calm down.
If tor doesn't work - maybe try the incognito modes that most standard browsers offer - if the problem persists then only support can help him - whining about here won't help.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to track how long I can stay up and gamble-ify it? [No Sleep Challenge] on: March 20, 2019, 04:02:19 PM
So I was curious - is there an app, or device that I can use to verifiably track my sleep and open up a gambling game where people will bet how long I'll stay up?

There is a way to track it! We now have a lot of wearable devices available which can track your heart rate and heart rate decreases while you sleep. The decreased heart rate while sleeping obviously depends on a lot of other parameters like body weight, height, age etc. But it surely decreases. So players can track if you fall asleep using your heart rate. Even though a lot of mathematical analysis needed to reach to an exact figure but it is possible!

Now probably your programmer friends can help you to design something for you! Hope this helps!

Actually, heart rates are irregular during sleep cycles. In fact, in some cases, heart rates increase during a sleep cycle that has gone past the REM stage.

The only sure way to track if someone is sleeping is through brainwave analysis - but as far as my knowledge goes, those only monitor active sleep cycles. Complicated ways to track if someone slept is done through hormone checks - which are nontrivial nonportable processes that are kinda impractical for the intents and purposes of this 'gambling experiment'.

How if that is possible and it's not stupid.

Let me tells a story....

If I read that, I will definitely fall asleep.

open up a gambling game where people will bet how long I'll stay up?

I'm not sure such app exist so far but maybe you are inculcating it into the minds of programmers and developers.

However, my curiosity and reasoning is, if you own the gambling site and the bets on it being specifically about betting on your sleep durations etc, wouldn't you sleep or not depending on the bets placed on or against you in other to make profit for yourself and make the gamblers against you to lose  Grin

Well... Nice idea for another betting game.

The idea is not to own a gambling site - the idea is to inspire the development or at the least a discussion of a tech wearable tech that can maybe track if someone has slept + or is actively sleeping.

If by chance I ever raise enough capital for such a website - it won't about me - it would be democratized and anyone would be able to take the 'challenge' ..

Society glorifies sleep - maybe its time for something else.

I don't know where did you get the information that it has been going on here for a year.

I said "nearly" since your recruitment for team started way back in last year's July.

The fact that you haven't finished recruiting yet could mean either you're inefficient, you don't have proper funds or you're really ambitious with your project. If its the last then hiring through BTT is not your best bet.

... lso be offered by your parents or associated, let me know about those as well!

I am sorry if I misunderstand this; are you calling me a child?

1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NanoGames.io - A social Nano crash based game! on: March 20, 2019, 09:08:14 AM
The site's going to go bankrupt pretty soon. I was on their site randomly as I had applied for their sig camp and was checking out the site out of curiosity again.
I saw their crash game give like 6000x returns .. that's crazy! I wonder if they'll ever be able to pay out anyone at that kind of multiplying odds..

I would suggest Devthedev - having used his service in the past.
Seems like he's inactive for a while.

You can rely on any of the leading lenders on the forum.

Parodium, Shashan, Zazarb, Monbux + all names already suggested above.

1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to track how long I can stay up and gamble-ify it? [No Sleep Challenge] on: March 20, 2019, 05:28:12 AM
I am pretty sure such an app does not exist and that's probably because no one thought about this before ot they were to shy to ask for it since this sounds like a stupid idea. I think there are a few app that could track your sleep even though I am sure they are not very precise but anyways none of them are related to gambling

Not sure if you are calling me stupid, or my no sleep challenge stupid. Or the need for which I am staying up as stupid.
Gambling is stupid - period! Any challenge or action done in connection to gambling is inherently stupid.

That's not going to prove that you are awake during that period of time between your posts. There are all kind of sleeping methods that people have been using to try and be more productive and one of them was to sleep multiple times during the day but only take quick naps of 20-30 minutes. Even posting every 10 minutes is not going to be enough because you can take a very quick nap for only 10 minutes.

Now THAT is stupid - no human being can sleep for 10 minutes and wake up - especially if he's not been sleeping for a few days.
I'm sure one can train themselves to sleep in small bursts - but the least amount of time in which one can get into REM sleep state is 90 minutes.
Without engaging REM state - one would feel like they're exhausted if they woke up.

From my point of view this is a must, not a maybe. Going live for the whole duration of time you are not sleeping is the only option you have because that's the only way people can truly know if you are awake or not.

I'm sure there can be technological ways to do this. For instance, the heart rate varies during sleep. So does breathing pattern. There are host of other biomarkers for sleeping and at least one of them can be done through an app (heart rate monitor).

If anything, video proof is the most easily doctor-able proof of all.

Maybe this discussion will open up new possibilities in a hardware development idea that would be able to detect if a person has been sleeping or not - imagine the number of lives it'll save if traffic cops had that kind of device.

and people can bet who is going to be the winner but it already sounds like something to complicated and I don't think that was your idea in the first place.

So not only you call me stupid but also say that I am stealing someone's idea? Now that by anyone's definition is - stupid. Especially in this day and age when doing any kind of infringement on someone else's idea is pretty hard.

UP  Grin

Lol you have to be silly to think someone will actually respond to your 'bump' knowing that not only will their own accounts will be tagged, but those new accounts would be tagged as well - theymos can track IP's if he wants to. In fact - all alts can cease to exist if theymos woke up with a bad mood one day and decided to go ahead with it.

You are a legendary member
I am not legendary. You are legendary.

so I do not think you should make a basic mistake in which board to open a new topic. General gambling discussion should not be in this board so better to move it to the more appropriate board.

It's not a mistake, I thought this was the appropriate board considering this is about 'sleep gambling' - I'll move to discussions though, thanks for suggesting.

Related your main question, there are many application at the google play store to track your sleep but I do not think there is an application which offers users to bet on how long someone will stay up.
I do not even think that this will be an interested game, simply because it is easy to be manipulated.

read this :
..to verifiably track my sleep ..

Also, I've seen people go crazy on betting who can go without bathroom the longest, among other crazy shit - I think this is a cleaner & safer game than that.

PS: Deleting your post since it didn't add any value to the conversation. But thanks anyways.
