1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: March 09, 2019, 03:20:49 AM
Recently, a Korean National has been robbed here in my place while riding the Taxi going home and lose the money that he won in the casinos, Its around 4Million Pesos or $75,000. This is not new in gambling industry since many incidents like this before. Do you ever think its a real accident or its just an inside job where the employees of casinos are involve or the casino itself?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunities to become a millionaire, and yet it is being taken easily by a more greedy people. Now I’m wondering if its still safe to go to casinos or better to play online? What’s your thought about this?

Here’s the link for your reference (it’s not translated in english but I’ve already share the summary of this news):
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/balitambayan/balita/679284/koreanong-nanalo-ng-p4m-sa-casino-hinoldap-sa-pasay/story/

Such incidences can easily be avoided if all casinos and gambling centers were regulated and required by law to payout in blockchain - doesn't have to be Bitcoin- could be something faster.
Once something like that happens the gamblers would never need to carry any cash - let alone lose them in a mugging attempt.

Also, $75000 does not a millionaire make.
1122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best DEX for date ? on: March 09, 2019, 03:18:04 AM
If its not Bisq then DDEX.

Ddex does not have the best UI out there but it is the one that has the highest volume .. or at least it did until December last year.
Goes without saying that I do have a bias towards DDEX as it was one of my first DEX.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which is the best place to learn how to play Poker online? on: March 09, 2019, 03:14:53 AM
I've never played poker, I've heard a great many things about it.
I'd like to learn .. keep in mind I haven't even played rummy (the Indian card game)..so I'll be a complete noob.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Youtube videos are all fine and dandy but I'm looking for a guided tutorial game platform where it'll dive into the more technical side of things.

Thanks in advance.

1125  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Daily Giveaway] 0.01 ETH on a daily basis. 1 Winner Announced Everyday on: March 09, 2019, 02:58:33 AM
The 0.01ETH daily competition has only 10 tweets so far. I wonder why the turnout's so low and whether you guys would even consider paying out with such low turnouts.
1126  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 Supawin.io 🎲 🎁 $10,000 Daily Jackpot 🎁 on: March 09, 2019, 02:54:04 AM
I think you should take it a little easier. It's not like you would pay 50$ for a ticket to play and it's not like there would be an enormous jackpot of 500.000$ like other gambling websites promise. I am not trying to promote anything here since I am not related with that website, all I want to say is that they  have the right to keep their money balance private just like any other casino/sportsbook. The jackpot is running on their website and not on this forum so if they don't want to show it that's it. It's your choice if you play or not.

I don't think that's a valid argument - any gambling organization claiming to have made payments in tens of thousands of dollars should have verifiable proof of paying out that kind of money.
It's not rocket science, either you have proof or you are lying about that kind of money. Simple.

we will send a token to our company (at the current rate it costs $ 34). During the year, you can exchange ...

You mean to say you'll "pay" people in shit tokens that have no value outside of the bubble you and your company lives in. Okay!
How about handing out rice bags instead of those tokens? Clearly, the rice bags would have higher utility!
1134  Economy / Services / Re: The CollectiveGO Video Game on: March 06, 2019, 08:52:52 AM
The site and other links have no mention of gaming whatsoever......it talks about providing community management services.

The idea is probably a recent development.

1137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you compare before joining any Crypto broker? on: March 05, 2019, 11:59:40 PM
There's no better alternative than to get your feet wet by yourself. I usually go by public reviews left by people on review platforms like Trustpilot etc - they tend to be more accurate than any broker comparing website / tool. My experience tells me they always upsell & promote stuff and mislead people.
1138  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking capital for algo on: March 05, 2019, 11:57:37 PM
Hi,

I'm looking capital for trading system that can work BitMex or Derebit (because they paid for MM).
This is stat arb MM system backtested during the 1 month. System do not have stops - change position logic only.

Estimate backtest for BitMex https://cloud.mail.ru/public/CxRY/AcJsfHsoZ
Execution based on strong conditions - trade price over the limit order price.

DM me if you have intresting, please.

Regards,
Eugene.

If this is a loan request then you need to put up proper collateral and move this topic to the lending section of the forum.
Without collateral, however, be ready to get red tagged.
1139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: March 05, 2019, 11:55:50 PM
Hi guys!
I'm going to make analytical research. I'm interested what small and not popular exchanges you really like? And why?
What exchange do you recommend to young ICO projects to list their coin?

Thanks in advance!

I really like Mercatox and Yobit.

Though Yobit isn't really "small".

Apart from that I like DDEX - one of the first decentralized exchanges I used.
1140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Public sale or pre ICO? can't decide on: March 05, 2019, 11:54:17 PM
Neither.

Wait for the asset to hit the exchanges. Prices will plummet like a sinking stone in the sea.
You would get higher discounts than what the pre-ico / public sale would get you.

This is the exact reason why ICO's fail these days.
