841  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for affiliation partners for High Paying Affiliate Program on: May 09, 2019, 02:52:00 PM
Affiliates are one way to boost new user acquisition, sure. But have you tried hosting a bounty / signature campaign in this forum? It'd prove to be way more effective in combination with your existing affiliate structure.

HMU if you want more advice on this.
842  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring Assistant Blockchain Copywriter on: May 09, 2019, 02:48:06 PM
...an efficient but largely pointless delivery....

The only thing in your extended rant that made any sense. Although ironically.
I suggest you try to use plain-er sentences so it makes more sense to the average laymen who have nothing to do with carpet bombing.

And if your reply has nothing to do with the topic of the thread - try to hold your thoughts to yourself.

844  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you deal with power outages in a developing country (like India)? on: May 09, 2019, 04:18:37 AM
Call your power company. I don't live in a developing country but I am sure you could get something worked out with them if you called. It doesn't hurt to try.

Digging this up because ^ this is the most hilarious response ever! Dude, you realize that I am from India right? I'd have to be a fuckin billionaire for the power company to treat me like a special snowflake.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: City-academy.com Coupons - Will accept Altcoins on: May 09, 2019, 04:14:40 AM
using them at the same time is very difficult, my brother is living and working in the English town. my brother want its

Yes you cannot use them all at once, you have to use it one by one. If you need them, send me a PM and we'll talk.

Panpine has neither reached out to me on his own again and nor has he responded to my messages. The coupons are still available.
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wash trading with crypto exchanges on: May 09, 2019, 03:05:38 AM
1% real volume is insanely low compared with the reported volume... That's really insane.

However, there's one thing to remember, most wash trading is done by projects to boost of their own token's daily trade volume.
Maybe Trading Competitions are playing a vital role for fake trading volumes?

With trading competitions, they are not really trying to hide it. The very reason a trading competition takes place is to boost the coin's traded daily / weekly / monthly volume, and I think that's okay as long as everything is fair.

But a trading competition attracts early investors and whales that always have the upper hand. Also, they're financially motivated to win the competition given how most cryptos that conduct trading competition start to see their asset value drop from its face value when it was first launched.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc 223, 721 support in Ethereum Wallets on: May 09, 2019, 02:57:21 AM
I am not familiar with the first wallet, do you mind sharing a link to its website? (just curious)

The second one, Eth wallet by Freewallet, does NOT support other tokens (ERC-223, ERC-721, ERC-777), only ERC20 tokens that are listed here:Supported ERC20 Tokens. It was confirmed by their support agent too

Sorry I thought I added the url, maybe I forgot. I just edited and updated the URL's in the OP.

Walleth.org and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eth.org.freewallet.app&hl=en on the playstore - for WallETH

Thanks for the clarification on the 2nd one.
848  Local / India / Re: Project Translations in Hindi is a waste of money! on: May 09, 2019, 02:37:01 AM

Was not expecting this from you. Do you know what Geeta means? Or you just write here to write without any meaning? You have to say sorry for this or say that you don't know what Geeta means, here.

Sorry for what? I know what Geeta means. It is a name. And also a collection of fictional writing which tools like you "worship" and call it your religion. Geeta, and all the religion in the world can kiss my ass. So can you if you expect me to be or say sorry.
849  Local / India / Re: Best indian Peer to Peer or Fiat Exchange on: May 08, 2019, 10:32:41 PM
I'm not bashing him for wearing a sig. I am bashing him for wearing a sig and saying things that he does not understand. Also, Stake promotes shitposts - go read my comment at the beginning of their campaign.

Also, the p2p sites, how many of those sites that you have listed there, have you actually traded on? Maybe with an exception of Wazirx.

Even then, there's just 3 p2p exchanges, lbc, leth and wazirx, rest are dead, or have prices so high that it doesn't make sense to trade there. Take Remitano listings for example.

And why is that? Because it is - as of yet - illegal to operate a crypto-based business in this country. Your user handle sounds Indian, I think you already know what I am talking about.

3)Bisq Total privacy but less Indian users
Does bisq offer crypto/INR trading? If I am correct, bisq is an international exchange. Sorry if I am wrong. Since OP is looking for Indian fiat option, INR, bisq wouldn't be the one he is looking for.

There is INR option but the amount of Indians there? ZERO. Just go and check it out yourself.

And this is the problem with people speaking about things that they don't know about and it pisses me off.
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: May 08, 2019, 10:16:36 PM
I just published a study which explores how Binance traders are making more money than traders on other exchanges.

https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/exchange-liquidity-a-comparative-study

I'm happy to answer any questions about the study.

I wonder how the BNB price increase might offset this profitability if at all. I haven't read your report yet, but I'd be glad if I find that you've addressed this issue in there.
851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is trading on P2P wallet exchanges? on: May 08, 2019, 10:09:10 PM
trading on P2P is safe and secure , Also P2P exchanges like coinbaazar and localbitcoins connects from people around the world , Also escrow is safest way of doing a trade as both buyer/seller , rights are protected and taken care by the company.
P2P exchanges themselves are not 100% safe. They have their fair share of problems. The basic rules is that storing your crypto on any exchange(P2P or non-P2P) is risky and it is always better to use hardware or paper wallets in this case.

People will continue investing in Binance due to its insane popularity. People are still investing in other controversial exchanges too like Bitfenix etc.
P2P would still be the best choice among the two but as been said people would still use up Binance no matter what even it is already being stained its reputation.

Theres no 100% safe on the first place even when Binance isnt hacked yet but i do tell myself that there would really be a time that this exchange would have its own issue
and now it do happens.

Didnt hear ou about pint wallet yet.

never heard of this pint wallet. is it any good as a wallet?

Yep, up until about a few weeks ago, even I wasn't aware that PINT existed.
But seems like a fully featured wallet that's being actively worked on.

Also, people like to delegate responsibility. The whole point about crypto is enabling people to take responsibility of their own money. But lethargy (I guess?) leads people to seek out 'trustworthy' authoritative figures to do the heavy lifting when it comes to making things secure. Part of the reason why people trust exchanges more than themselves.
852  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet name suggestion on: May 08, 2019, 10:04:02 PM
Just out of curiosity, how is that shitposting? Huh

Simply because it is already on the list as suggested by someone else earlier. Not reading the discussion and jumping straight in with whatever you have to say - is the very definition of a shitposter in my book.

..

^ exactly what he said.
853  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 08, 2019, 10:01:30 PM
This event will significantly take a toll on the user base of binance towards its security and trust. Although the company will have the shoulder the losses, the damage is more than just the compensation, as they will be losing potential users and old ones.
Once again, despite one of the most famous exchanges in the internet, everything can still be accessible and hacked. This problem should be addressed in the cryptocurrency world and maybe a shift in a form of security must be introduced.

The security system should be more looked into. But i remember an incident where Binance caught a hack act before the assets were stolen out. I am sure its standard would remain still when the loses are compensated.

I do not think so. They'll definitely fix the system - whatever caused this in the first place. However, I wonder if they'd make the technical details of the hack public once the systems are patched up or updated.

We definitely need a third party audit of the hack, proving that it did happen and wasn't an inside job - which is what it mostly turns out to be. Think Coinsecure for example.
854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wash trading with crypto exchanges on: May 08, 2019, 09:47:28 PM
I don't think that will be a problem for me.
As long as I can take the profit from the trade, I don't care of what the bots doing because I think if I can follow the bot moves, then I can have a chance to make a profit even for just a small profit.
But yes, I am sure that will happen in all exchanges especially if, in that exchanges, whales have stayed and trying to buy and sell the coin.

Yeah? And then come running when the prices crash unnaturally due to market manipulation. Its high time people get their act together and start acting like a wise community and not just greedy nut jobs.

The more people start saying that they don't care about such things, the louder we as a community say to market manipulators to come and screw with our money. Are you sure you want to be part of that problem?
855  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 08, 2019, 04:26:05 PM
If Binance which is a top exchange could get hacked, what more with smaller exchanges?
That's the reason why I'm not storing my holdings and funds in exchange. It should be a lesson learned for us not to hold our funds in exchanges for the long term. I still find hard wallet safer to use.

Speak for yourself.

Millions of users will continue to store their funds on exchanges, it's a habit that has formed since the advent of internet business. Thank Paypal if you have to, they're the ones who have popularized this notion of leaving your balance in your online wallet without regard to what may happen if you are locked out of it.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wash trading with crypto exchanges on: May 08, 2019, 04:23:53 PM
This is no new data. It's been discussed widely in the last few weeks. However, there's one thing to remember, most wash trading is done by projects to boost of their own token's daily trade volume. Exchanges merely facilitate this.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Erc 223, 721 support in Ethereum Wallets on: May 08, 2019, 03:24:54 PM
Does anyone know if;

1. WallETH

and

2. Ethereum Wallet by freewallet

Supports :

A) Erc 223

B) Erc 721

or both? I can't find relevant information and I am not sure if Marcus (Waleth dev) has an account on this forum.

Really? I've been here since the time of OTC and I haven't seen the fair share of problems which you are mentioning. Care to elaborate?
859  Economy / Services / Re: ERC Token Exchange Listing on: May 08, 2019, 05:52:27 AM
Hi friends,

I am working with https://etherflyer.com and offering exchange listings for ERC tokens. If you are interested DM. Budget ~10 to 15 ETH depending on size of your community. We'd love to have you on our platform. Cheers!

You have zero cred here with your basically no-history profile. So unless someone from etherflyer actually verifies that you 'work' with them, I don't think you'd find many takers of your service here. If you are legit, try getting listed on their website as an agent and then use that as a credential to prove your legitimacy.
