1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Are you sending news to crypto newsletter subscribers? on: March 19, 2019, 11:21:44 PM
Lest your year-long ICO / team hunt be misconstrued as nothing more than spam - please try keeping all your hiring requests under this board : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2165225.0
Or at the least under one thread - without posting so many new topics.

Good luck
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Are you providing crypto marketing services of any kind? on: March 19, 2019, 11:19:39 PM
I am interested in finding crypto marketing service providers of all kind. We are preparing to launch an initial coin offering project and we are ready to be heard far and wide. If you have got a cool marketing service or many marketing services to offer, leave a reply on this thread about your offer or contact me via PM.

You've been doing this since July 2018 - if your project hasn't launched so far - or if you haven't found a marketing team yet, what makes your latest slew of hiring requests any different from what they were nearly a year ago?

This should be posted in the Digital goods section under the invites and accounts subsection.

1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / How to track how long I can stay up and gamble-ify it? [No Sleep Challenge] on: March 19, 2019, 11:11:44 PM
Due to certain circumstances, I find myself in situations where I need to stay awake for long durations - for work-related purposes.
For instances, I need to stay up for the next 3 days and I am already awake for more than 24 hours straight.

So I was curious - is there an app, or device that I can use to verifiably track my sleep and open up a gambling game where people will bet how long I'll stay up?

Maybe I could go live for the duration, but I am not too keen on facing the camera.
Maybe I can post every 30/60 minutes in a thread with some solved puzzle that doesn't take more than a minute to do?

I am open to suggestions. Or if there are websites / apps for this thing, then let me know.

Prefix, if possible case sensitive :

If you can't do case sensitive then :

Code:

I got you both (overnight):

Pick one, or use both. If you use both, know that they're linked together now: if one of them gets compromised, they both are.

You da man! Thanks dude! I'll keep em both.

What would it cost to get a 10 character prefix?

What is MW?
Who is escrowing the deal or why somebody should trust you for the deal?
I guess it is for India but better to put the country also when you post in global forum.

In case you haven't been to our Indian subforum here- its a mess, its no surprise OP had to resort to coming here.

However, I would suggest OP to move this to the currency exchange board.

-edit-

found out OP is from africa. MW = Malawi.
1088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Binance crash/freeze regularly for anyone else? on: March 18, 2019, 08:10:20 PM
When I have the desktop app running for days on end, it does end up crashing.
I have around 16 gigs of ram so memory isn't an issue.

So I typically restart the app every 48 hours to avoid this.
1089  Economy / Gambling / Re: e͏t͏h͏e͏r͏c͏r͏a͏s͏h.ισ | 0-1% house edge | ETH & BTC Accepted 🏅 on: March 18, 2019, 07:42:19 PM
Considering our max bet is 2,000,000 ethos (2.00 eth) there is no way for a high roller to lose 3 btc in a single bet.
But of course, if in the exact round he is playing he doesn't cash out before the game crash, he will lose his bet (not his entire balance of obviously).
There is also another possibility: if someone is max betting without cashing out, but the game is high enough, he could hit the max profit (currently at 115 eth) and win that specific round.

Oh, so that how it goes. That's nice. I'll try this game soon. Thank you for informing me about what troubled my mind.

Thanks for clarifying I landed on their site yesterday and I was lost like a confused pup and as a noob in gambling, I was also full of questions.
I also wanted to know if you guys have any limitations for Indians to play on your site..
Given how our gov. still hasn't declared crypto legal or illegal - is it legal for you guys to allow us Indians on your site?

I just want to be sure of what I'm getting myself into..
1090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Altcoin Sidekick Review on: March 17, 2019, 08:23:21 AM
Recently I came across this free podcast on Itunes titled "Altcoins Sidekick" and I was quite intrigued about some of the trading concepts they've discussed.

Of course, they have a lot of fluff for the newbies, but I feel there's value in these despite their free price tag.

I've decided that over the next one week I will review 5 of their episodes in this thread, focusing trading subjects and technical analysis - discuss what they may have gotten wrong or right.

I will be deleting useless posts / comments made here that's not related to the podcast, trading ideas or if they aren't related to market analyisis.
1091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opinion Needed : On my shot term predictions on: March 16, 2019, 06:10:21 PM
I am going to lock this thread and re-open another one with a more dedicated stream of content.
It will be similar to the BTC Wall Observer thread - kindly consider joining me in that thread.

Watch this space as I'll update the link - might even setup a blog - will be doing it over the next one week or so.
1092  Economy / Services / Re: [SIG] Multi Asset Security Token Signature Campaign [CLOSED] on: March 16, 2019, 04:55:14 PM
Is this bounty still ongoing? I have not received my payment for this week's bounty. I would like clarification.

This is not the bounty thread, I suggest you make a post on their Bounty thread for questions related to bounty. Be advised - they do not like anyone posting bounty / signature campaign related stuff in their Telegram
1093  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My idea for a bitcoin job forum on: March 16, 2019, 07:29:51 AM
I have ..

Take a look at the Service section we have in itself - it doesn't get nearly enough traffic to sustain a forum like business model. If you plan to earn from it - that might not happen anytime soon.

1094  Economy / Services / Re: Supawin Signature campaign Jr member to Legendary, Paid in Bitcoin every Week! on: March 15, 2019, 09:12:26 PM

we do not care about Irrational criticisms of our project.
..
You are more than welcome to provide any user of any other form of evidence of us not making payouts, as we process all withdrawal request every hour.

You're being irrational - given the state of your website, people here are justified in doubting what you can or cannot afford. This community has seen far too many unpaid campaigns.

With that said - they're just doubts at this point - if you continue to act in denial, it may turn into accusal - something that some might consider a PR nightmare.

Instead of making a positive brand image - you're furthering your conquest of sinking into the same pile of quicksand that you yourself have deposited.

I hope I made sense.
1095  Economy / Services / Re: Supawin Signature campaign Jr member to Legendary, Paid in Bitcoin every Week! on: March 15, 2019, 06:04:43 PM
Although I have applied to this campaign - whether I am selected or not, I find that it is important for me to quote an old remark I made about this site.

On the point of the website's right to keep its transactional data "secret" - I had to say the following;

I don't think that's a valid argument - any gambling organization claiming to have made payments in tens of thousands of dollars should have verifiable proof of paying out that kind of money.
It's not rocket science, either you have proof or you are lying about that kind of money. Simple.

With that said, I would not advise many people to join this campaign unless they're willing to post for a few weeks and have no pay in the end - if indeed the website owners have enough money for this "signature campaign" - they could surely fund a proper upgrade to their site (or hire a bounty manager for this campaign)

So join with caution!

Update-

I am no longer participating in this campaign as I got picked in another.

1098  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Using steem for property archive storage on: March 13, 2019, 11:19:56 AM
Interesting concept, it does seem like this could actually work in the way you're describing it.
Though I would suggest to build a completely new interface around it, that uses the Steem blockchain.

Steem - is not built for that, even if doing something like what you are talking about is technically possible.

Well, that doesn't mean that someone can't build a new interface on Steem specifically for this purpose.

All the projects you've listed have way less marketcap than Steem, so it would actually make sense to use Steem for this.

So did Ethereum when it started - don't be so quick to dismiss the work of good people. We don't need 'more of the same thing' - we need to reinforce what already exists. Building something just because you can sounds like a waste of time. You first have to find out if there is a need.

See if you can implement cryptowat.ch or Tradingview charts. Would love to see cryptowat.ch implemented actually.
1100  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ask for insurance! on: March 13, 2019, 06:07:06 AM

Admit I didn't grasp the answer at first, so it probably doesn't have a global answer. I'd expect it's protected by corporate interests in the US, but perhaps in places like India, more lenient to the public by the Right to Information Act?

In any case, if more of us were like Vod in demanding to see proof of insurance before joining a business, they'd be less scams happening. Reminding myself I'm invested in a few businesses I don't have full (or any) guarantees in... I wonder if proof of insurance could still retain privacy.

Vod's take on the issue is asking for personal insurance documents of the people involved in the business - typically that is something that's considered 'private info'.

If it were business insurance or auto insurance - then it'd be a different story because the information there is accessible to regulatory bodies and therefore to the public.

Yes - ask for insurance - but all I am saying is - don't be alarmed if the person you're asking isn't too enthusiastic about sharing that info - considering how that can be seen as a breach of privacy.

This can certainly be one yardstick for measurement - but not the only move at an investor's disposal.
