1681  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low on: January 02, 2018, 06:58:38 PM
I will like you to see it in 3 ways.
1. See it as a correction that was bound to happen anyway, after the huge non stop buying for months now.
2. See it as whales cashing out and some noobs getting scared and selling at losses. (they will get to learn from experience later on)
3. See it as a Christmas gift, if you want to get in at a lesser price because later on, this year or next year, we are coming back at some point to test back the previous top. Some call it black Friday for crypto shopping.

Jokes apart though, there is really nothing to worry about. You are welcome to the volatile world of crypto. It is a bloodbath out there right now and they happen once in a while. It will pass and forget anything else you are hearing.
I think it is because a summary from the 3 reasons above that made this huge down fall. But I wil keep hodling my coins and will se what 2018 brings.
Yes the lrixe is actually getting low as of now but i still believe that the value will rise up again because investors and buyers will not stop to buy. Hence, it was really an opportunity for them to buy because the price is low and then when they bought BTCs the demand is getting higher and the price is also rising up.

1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: December 27, 2017, 03:16:22 PM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?
As a bitcoin holder. My greatest fear is that the value of bitcoin falls down. Because when the price fall down it is directly proportional to my holdings which is bitcoin and other crypto tokens that im holding because when i sell it even if the sell value is high when it converted to bitcoin nothing matters.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: December 27, 2017, 01:58:45 PM
You should change the topic title as why people are so selfish. Base on OP, I don't see any direct point saying "why people scam."

Anyway, the point of view of people who are not donating some money to people who are just begging is that those will become dependant instead of finding a job, a decent one, instead of just opening your hand while sitting in the streets waiting for someone to give them a coin.

Those who deserve to receive donations are those who are facing health issues like cancer but they can't afford it, those who are working hard yet still it is not enough and etc.
Those people is so greedy. They only wanted to earn by themselves not thinking the hardwork of the other people exerting effort to do their tasks well and then the eagerness to esrn of scammers is so high so that they will do anything just to earn big amount of income. So disappointing to experience that kind of greediness.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon? on: December 27, 2017, 12:05:24 PM
"Soon" would be in the next 1-3 years or so.

One of the biggest dangers for BTC is something more useful coming along and investors switching - a process which could happen extremely fast, once started.

So to all the tech savy people in here - what advantages could other cryptocurrencies bring that will give them a crucial edge over BTC, and how fast could something like that come along?
Chances that may vary to change fiat into crypto as a preference of money usage? I think therr so many reasons why because bitcoin is a fastest way of payment system so i think the transaction is also fast if that happened. But i dont think cryptos cant replace today because although there is so many advantages that you get when you use bitcoin there is also disadvantages to consider before it will happen.
1686  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 27, 2017, 10:44:34 AM
I don't really have a strategy that I use. I just buy some Bitcoins every now and then when the price has gone down to hold for the long term. That's all I do at the moment. I am not even trading. It's purely holding what I do. I am so happy with my Bitcoin investment that I never look into any other investment. Bitcoin is more than enough for me as I believe in its full future potential.
About investing. Dont have any strategies because honestly i didnt know how to invest here. What ive only know about investing is that you are buying some bitcoins wherein you will deposit that bitcoin here in some particular ICOs. And when that signature campaign reached their hard cap or even their soft cap. Maybe the value that you deposited in to that campaign will be doubled or being tripled.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: December 26, 2017, 12:37:28 PM
Just imagine. If ALL OF US would be rich, that means we would live our lives out from dividends, or any passive income of at least $1k a month. Then it would be jawesome, right ? Well, but then I do have a question.
WHO on this Earth would bake the bread for ALL OF US ?
Robots, you might say?
OK, nice idea.
But then, WHO on Earth would maintenance these robots ?
Another robots ?
I don't think so.
Even if so, even if there would be a Skynet of robots, who would not just bake the bread, but also harvest the grains, transport it, deliver to our doors. What then ?
We could eat for free, as much as you want?
Cool, but what about overweight then.
Doctor? But hey wait, NO ONE on this Earth work, so we have no doctors.
OK, we have Doctor Robots.
Who would teach our kids? Robots! Who would change the diapres? Robot!
Even if humans would master all this, we would need to have all the knowledge to teach our robots to work for us. To be slaves for us. (no minds, just pure robotic hands/arms and so on, Tesla's and autopilots)
But even then, there is one huge problem.
I do not want to touch any country, or race, or group of people, but imagine, if you put infinite amount of resources to any kind of animal (including humans), they would reproduce themselves to infinite. Because they simply can. Because parents do not need to parent their kids anymore, because we have robots! So we would need a limit of reproducing, no right to reproduce as much as you can handle (infinite resources), because we would simple have like 50-100billion people on this planet, and there would be no robots who could grow so much grains to bake bread. (perhaps hyper dense pills could be the away).
So, back to the original question, why do people believe, they all can be rich ?
It was, is, and will be, ALWAYS about that who is going to earn more, not enough, but more than the others.
Why?
If there is only one mansion on the Bahamas, which is large enough, sunny enough, sexy enough, there is no freaking way, ALL OF US could buy it. Just one. 1. One. And if only 10 buyers come with their million, to who would seller sell this mansion to? First ? But second also have million and ALL OF US want to be rich (own that one mansion). So second would have to offer 2 million, right?
Wrong.
No one would want to sell such mansion in the first place, as he is already rich. We all are.
It true tyat everybody wants to be rich but not by just magic but also through our various endeavours in our activities being rich as an accountant will not mean I will stop being an accountant or the barber will just quit without making alternative. Also, the meaning of riches differ from people to people while riches to others mean that they should be able to meet their needs as at when due and doing their daily jobs, others are planning in the direction of being wealthy and that is when you get to recieve dividends.
No! I didnt expect that. Not really. Because im here just to eanr money to sustain my daily need or to buy the things that i want. And i didnt expecting to be rich here because im just joining in a signature campaign and i have a very low possibility to become rich by using this way of earning here. Maybe that is possible when im investing some money here but i dont have enpugh knowledge about investing.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that digital currencies will replace Fiat? on: December 26, 2017, 10:59:48 AM
Maybe, not impossible but will take a lot of time i guess, there are a lot of people who has less knowledge in technologies, once their generations passed, blockchain tech will soon be known by the world and that time fiat may be out-valued by cryptos.
I dont think that will happen. But we cant predict. Maybe that will happen but for me there are so many disadvantage of digital money. Whats wrong with fiat? I think thats enough to use and digital money to be use to buy things online.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: December 25, 2017, 05:31:14 PM
Bitcoin is promising currency, but somehow because of it's volatile value. How can bitcoin help the community? especially the 3rd world country.

Bitcoin can help the people in those countries especially the ones that do not have a stable job by giving them the chance and opportunity to earn for a living online. It can serve as an aid for unemployment and an alternative way of having a regular income just by staying at home.

Indeed that it could help those people, especially in the countries, included or part of the 3rd world but it limits only to those "THAT HAS an ACCESS on THE INTERNET". Bitcoin, those people at least an opportunity to earn somehow. But to pertains as a regular income? I guess not, It will depend on how does that person penetrates the world of crypto. I think the way Bitcoin can help the community is that it could let that person learn more about the economics, in which it could open up a lot opportunity they could use in the future.
Maybe just like the campaign i joined last 2 months. The project is really good. Because its an health care campaign that can help people with sickness by simply getting some donations or investors to invest in to their campaign to help people with diseases. And that project is really good. Because you can earn and at the same time you can help other people.
1690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 25, 2017, 04:52:54 PM
Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.
I think it is better if you will not be using bitcoin since you said that the government forbids the use of bitcoin, it other words, they banned it in your country.

People sell their bitcoins because they need money or they want to get their profits out of their saved bitcoin.
They sell bitcoin because they really wants money to grow. Making money with bitcoin is really a good way of earning. Because you just buying and selling its just a matter of timing and right time to wait. If the price of bitcoin is so much higher than before that you bought it. You can sell it to have interest by yourself. So you just need to wait and to have patience.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: How do I get bitcoin? on: December 25, 2017, 10:23:20 AM
Its common question of most of people who want to get online currency. For purpose of getting bit coin we have work be more creative and innovative through our own work or creativeness. When we work as skill staff we can get so many online work after accomplishing this task perfectly we will get some virtual currency like bitcoin. After getting this currency there are so many way to dispense this currency or convert this currency from virtual currency to local or international currency.
For exchanging this cypto-currency to local or international currency we need different system like PayPal and others service providers.

I believe I understand your point but I don't see the need for a different system since you now can use different payment cards charge directly to cryptocurrency this is makes it quite easy to convert cryptocurrency to local or international currencies, beside that we got multiple exchange that can be directed to your bank account and we even got cards that can charge to other coins than Bitcoin so what more do you want from a system? Today I can if I want to live almost only by using bitcoin or other cryptocurrency just by having them on my payments.

I get some bitcoins by joining in a signature campaign as my calssmate teached me how to join in a particular signature campaign. By doing constructive posts a week i can get weekly stakes and when the campaign is successfully done. And wehn the distribution of the token is also done. That is the time that i can sell it in the exchanger.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: December 25, 2017, 09:03:15 AM
I have read in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual currencies are assets and does not have the characteristics or what it takes to be a currency that could meet our modern economic needs. It was said that it does not have the fundamental attributes. What are your thoughts about it?

Personally for me Bitcoin is a aspect and a currency also. To explain to you, it is an asset if I store my money in it, and I expect it to appreciate. It is a currency for me cause I use it to buy and sell goods and services. So the answer to your question is what would you like it to be. People don't understand it is completely decentralised, strong, so it's the best, it's use depends on person to person.
Yes I agree because if you prefer it as your main job it is very risky because as you can see the bitcoin is unstable and the price is really unpredictable when the price is rising up or even falling down. It is in the matter of pump and dump system. What if bitcoin dies. Where do you get some money for your daily needs. I will only recommend to you to have a field job.
1693  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: December 25, 2017, 06:49:44 AM
Hold, man, hold. The way Bitcoin is moving now if you're trading you're more likely to miss the moves. The next option that will earn you some more coin while you're holding is to keep your coin (or some of it) with an online wallet that pays you interest. There are only a few that offer a realistic amount of interest for your coin on balance.

If you want to know more, PM me.

Did you own Bitcoin on August 1st?
Investing? Mining? Trading? There is so many ways of making money here in bitcoin. Just like me. I am joining in a signature campaign just to get tokens and to sell it when it was distributed to the members that is doing constructive posts to get stakes every week or even in the whole campaign. Holding some tokens teach me to have patience because theres a perfect time that the particular token value rises up.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: December 21, 2017, 02:02:16 AM
Not rich by any means.  I don't earn money with bitcoin, as most investment opportunities are straight up scams.  And trading is risky as hell.  I use my own money, hard-earned from my job, to buy btc.  Maybe I'll get rich, maybe not.
The dream of getting more bitcoin and become millionaire? No. For me, its okay to earn here in bitcoin just to sustain my daily needs and to buy things that i want to buy like gadgets or any clothes or even new shoes that is limited edition
.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: December 21, 2017, 12:35:49 AM
Bitcoin is not a magic wand which will end world poverty. It simply doesn't have the power to end such a massive thing. Also bitcoin is not a payment system anymore. We have moved to a different goal long back, when the confirmation time increased and transaction fees hiked. These confirmation time and transaction fees is going to be increased again and again. So we will move from the initial goal further.

Bitcoin has now purely became an investment asset. IT can provide a huge return which any other conventional investment will never be able to offer ever. So I take bitcoin purely as an investment and a trading asset. I earn profit  and keep it for the future.
I dont think bitcoin can end the world poverty because bitcoin is not already know by all people. It can help the poor but it doesnt solve the world poverty unless it is teached to all people and bitcoin is our primary currency all around the world.
1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wihch crypto should i buy? on: December 20, 2017, 05:37:03 PM
hi

which is good crypto for buy, right now?

for low price, now i buy and then i will wait for years,
If you have decent amount of money I'd suggest Ethereum, if not - Ripple (it costs a few bucks but grows fast).
O domt think which is the best crypto to buy this time. But in my own opinion. Ethreum is the best crypto because the volume of eth is next to bitcoin and higher than any other crypto. And for me. It is the 2nd known crypto next also to bitcoin.
1697  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 20, 2017, 05:12:42 AM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.

I also put aside 20% of my daily jobs earning as saving. And then the what's left is I budget it. It has works wonder for me up to today. I'm glad that I'd listen to my parents early on regarding saving. You might try it if so see if it's fits you. Others do to the opposite, they do the budget first and the rest put into saving. I guess you have to try and experiment it yourself. And always ask yourself if you really need or just want it before spending your precious money.
For me, the best way to save your own money is to store it on your application wallet on your phone or in web wallet. And do not spend it for unneccesary things just to fulfill your satisfaction. You should save it and think on your future expenses that if you need money you have money to get if you need it.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: December 19, 2017, 04:29:11 AM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

yes because of social media the bitcoin is growth. social media is the one of most reason why bitcoin is discover of some country in this world its because some people got advertise it into the social medias like facebook, twitter and all the sites that they advertise bitcoin!
Yes. Because  there is so many people in social media. So if you endorse or convince other people. You should choose to endorse it in sociaal media. It is very effective especially there so many people can access social media. Such as facebook. Twitter.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: December 19, 2017, 12:35:45 AM
I don't trust all these HYIP websites and I'm looking for a more reliable way to invest.
Any suggestions?

If you have time, have ideas, are expert in something connected with bitcoin, you can earn some bitcoins join signature campaigns. Go to the section "services" of this forum and there you can find to many sites which pay if you put their publicity as a signature in your profile. The bitcoin earned are few but not nothing. You must have fun doing posts and read the posts of the others to discuss about the matters they write otherwise you will find very hard to do this "job".

This is not an investment or a way to invest but a way to learn more about bitcoin and to earn some bitcoin. Maybe you can have interest about it in the free time.
The best way for me to make your bounty grow is to invest here in bitcoin. Why can i say that? Just look on the price of the bitcoin as of now, reaching $20k and it is very high value that a one currency cam reach. It is so unexpected that bitcoin will rise into this value. So if you invest here in bitcoin also your profit is bitcoin and when you look to the price. Your earning is according to a particular ICO that you invested in.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: December 13, 2017, 10:09:37 PM
I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.

I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

Now, what have been your experience with internet scams?
How do we help people not to get scammed?

I will say that almost all the members here have been scam one time or another, specially at the beginning of their journey. I was also a victim of HYIP, I invested few satoshi's before and it was paying at the start and I was so happy with the result.  Was even looking at the calendar to see how much bitcoin I will get. Then I re-invested, but unfortunately one day the site went offline and I was late, I have been scammed. Just a simple research of the website will help you identify a scam and of course this forum is the biggest help. Just ask around for opinions before investing.
Im not exactly being scammed. But its loo like that because i do my require posts in a particular signature campaign and then i didnte receive any income because that signature campaign which i joined in is not being successful. And that thing is the worse to haplen because of the effort you exerted is not being payed off.
