1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: December 02, 2020, 10:27:04 PM
It is not surprising that the blockchain is now being discussed and courses being created. Albeit there are already thick books dedicated to the study of Blockchain and its applications. So it is just a matter of who wants to teach the said discipline? Who wants to learn this new technology? Not all academia would want to have cryptocurrency as a course in their schools, especially those who are against the said technology. We just have to show these people that the technology is noble and that blockchain has many uses.
We all know that bitcoin is really profitable and it is not really surprising if some schools are now teaching cryptocurrency to students. Now we can say that they can really secure their future by studying every important information about cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. Blockchain technology also takes an important role in cryptocurrency which serves as an innovative technology that is being supported by cryptocurrency. Not all academies are teaching this kind of subject, let us say that every college should approve that subject. Not only to help the students but to spread knowledge about cryptocurrency, so that as they grow older they are not ignorant of what cryptocurrency is.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: December 02, 2020, 10:05:24 PM
banks have been there long before even our grandparents existed not only to offer loans, and etc but to also act as a safehaven for users to lock their money in. Some banks like the Swiss Bank offer added protection which induces some people to use it for money laumdering and other illegal activities. Now, after reading all that, one can argue tjat it will take a very long time for banks to stop existing.
Banks and Cryptocurrency have both importance of existing. It is true that banks are important until now since it is traditional and it has a lot of benefits to us, especially when securing money, its just that you should choose a bank that has high security because sometimes the system is being hacked. Banks are still useful until now since cryptocurrency is not yet known by all people, What I am saying is that yes a lot of people know what cryptocurrency is, but still there are people and countries that don't know what is the nature and benefits of using it.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty rewards on: December 02, 2020, 09:45:43 PM
I am usually joining a bounty campaign since I've known what cryptocurrency is, especially joining a particular signature campaign. Most of the bounty projects that are being developed are paying using their own coins depending on them how much they will divide the allocation and it is also depending on the stake. There are actually different types of supporting a project, it is either you will promote the project by using the signature and avatar while you are posting on the forum, there are also social media websites that you can promote the particular project. Sometimes the project is giving free rewards known as airdrop but that is not enough because it is just a small amount of coin.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 6 cryptocurrency , Invest in 2020 on: November 30, 2020, 01:10:43 PM
There are actually lots of people who are really investing on some tokens, but there are people who are putting their money on some projects that are really not trusted, they are the ones that are not taking any study or research. Knowledge is very important to success. So if you want to really earn some income you should study a particular token or project to secure your money. You should have a solid portfolio when you are trading so you have a guide to follow.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: November 30, 2020, 11:43:36 AM
A vaccine will only render a person immune to the virus, it is not a cure for the virus. Now with your question whether this will be the last of COVID-19, that will heavily depend on the public itself, do they still have fear and respect for the damages the virus can inflict? Or are they making fun of it thinking it wouldn't hit them?
As of now, every doctors and scientist are now researching for the vaccine and they are running some trials and so many vaccines are being produced but still that is not enough to kill the virus, there are some things for them to consider before it will go in public. We are all hoping that the vaccine will be created before the year end and the world will go back to normal. This crisis affects so many sectors especially the economy of every country. This virus also affects the market somehow but it really recovers as time passes by, just like what we have seen right now.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't venture into something you aren't completely sure about. on: November 30, 2020, 07:22:43 AM
It actually depends on them if they want to mine or not. Maybe some people want to mine some tokens because they have some resources to use and they can really earn in that way without making more expenses. There are some people also who want to mine but they have no resources to use, sometimes they want to mine tokens but the expenses like the power usage are so expensive so they decided not to mine. Giving time and effort to something you want is normal but you should make sure that you are making a profit with your way of earning.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: November 29, 2020, 11:25:28 PM
I'm not really surprised at all. I still believe only less than 0.5% of the world's population are actually adopting or knowledgeable about Bitcoin right now. Even if it's more than a decade old, Bitcoin still has long ways to go before the whole world would finally recognize it. Just like the evolution of money, transitioning from barter to gold to physical coins/bills really takes a lot of time (like we're talking about decades for instance). We just have to be grateful that we are the early adopters of Bitcoin, etc.
Not only that, there are still places that are not recognizing the usage of bitcoin because the government doesn't allow it to. There are also places that are not really innovated in terms of technology so we can say that the only ones that are using bitcoin are those who can access the internet and able to use technology with their own knowledge. But still, the knowledge about bitcoin is continuously spreading because of some reason like adopting, just like what happened when Paypal accepting bitcoin as payment. We are hoping that while technology is innovating the people are also gaining new knowledge and can understand the nature and benefit of using cryptocurrency.
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: November 29, 2020, 11:05:15 PM
How hilarious that prediction about a year coming, moves opposite to the prediction, in 2019 many would hope and say 2020 would be exciting, great well but for the people in china that knows about the virus, 2020 had it excitements but more of evils, every year comes with a version of its making, that what makes the world unpredictable, 2021 next year could wipe away all the bad events of 2020, or it is more of the same next year, regardless we anticipate it content.
We cannot actually predict what will happen in the future, just like what you have said, there are actually lots of speculations that this year will be prosperous but look what happened to us right now there's crisis because of the pandemic. It is maybe normal nowadays that bad things are happening, maybe because there are lots of people that are greedy with knowledge and power that they using their might to gain those two, without thinking the equivalent cause of their action.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: November 29, 2020, 10:45:13 PM
Telegram groups are quite important. as you know that communication is one way to see whether a project is serious or not. At least we can also confirm the truth of the information that is circulating and confirm it from the telegram group, for example the date of listing, partnerships and others related to the project.
It is, of course, important because there are times that the team is joining in the telegram and they are giving an answer to some frequently asked questions of the investors, it is also quite important because sometimes they can give some updates about the progress of the project and they can also give some important information about the projects, sometimes there are also rewards or some airdrop. Everything that is important must be included in the telegram group, such as a whitepaper, website, and roadmap links.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 28, 2020, 07:03:57 PM
They are not scared, I think the right term to describe how they feel towards Bitcoin is " Doubtful".

Even if you introduce Bitcoin to people, they will doubt it big instantly. The more you explain it to them, and the more their brains can't keep up, the more they will be doubtful about bitcoin, especially those old people. But I really can't imagine that they are up to ponzi scams yet they don't want a safer way to earn money. I guess people only wants easy money that's good to be true because they are thinking that if they will invest their money on a investment that will let them do nothing and earn money while they sleep, they will gain profits over it, but sad to say that it's the other way around.

I don't bother anymore introducing and explaining Bitcoin to anyone ask, because if they want to use it, they will find a way to use it without asking so many questions.
It is really hard to explain the knowledge about bitcoin especially if those people are actually beginners and they have heard the bitcoin for the first time. Saying some terms about bitcoin is really hard to explain to them, and saying what is the benefit of the bitcoin itself will actually give them some doubt if you are really saying the truth or you are really gaining some profit like what you are saying, but if you tried to explain to them with some visuals and giving them some actual tutorial, that will really help them to understand.
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 20k $ in 2021? on: November 28, 2020, 02:42:15 PM
After hitting 19.5k $, Bitcoin suddenly dumped below 17k instead of targeting for 20k $. Do you think guys will Bitcoin reach 20k $ in 2021? Or will it stay below 17k $ like as always?
Share your own thoughts and let us know friends.
Bitcoin had rough years after the dump that occured after the last highest pump but it soon recovered just within the year. Obviously, there's a possibility that it will occur once again so make sure you handle your holdings wisely. There's a possibility bitcoin will once again reach 20k dollars or higher but we should also stay lowkey and be aware that it might remain below 17k dollars, just stay careful with your investments and holdings.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for Trading on: November 27, 2020, 11:00:30 PM
The lockdown that have been brought as the result of the pandemic do really take up an impact on both crypto and stock market. If we could remember, by the month of March when the wide spread of the virus have been all over the news, the price of cryptocurrencies all dropped down over night which means there is also an effect on the crypto market somehow for it took weeks or month before it have recovered. But on the other hand, stock market from the first up until now experiences the direct negative impact of the pandemic crashing the stocks pushing people to find alternatives which they seek to find cryptocurrencies due to belief that it can save their assets from continuous crashing in the stock market.

Earning profit in crypto is not really that passive for you must work into something to make yourself profitable. You do still need to exert time, effort and patience to be able to earn your income in here which is basically not a passive one. Doing nothing will not guarantee you to earn income but working into something will do.
It is true that pandemic has an effect on the market but that also makes every people and even the investors invest on the market because their field jobs are not allowed so they are trying to still make their own money by investing in crypto, and also because of that, some people without knowledge are trying to invest in cryptocurrency without really gaining important information needed, that is why they are being scammed by other people or project and simplifying that cryptocurrency itself is a scam, which we all know that it is not true. Knowledge and understanding are important to gain profit. Be more aware and well-informed since this is digital money and doing some transaction online, once you have sent it, there's no turning back.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 27, 2020, 10:34:26 PM
I agree that the government poses the biggest threat.

As natural disasters would come, as high technologies would be developed in the future with strong processing power, I think it is still the government that holds the first seat. They could implement laws, they could influence people, in short, they have control over whether to stop or accept the usage of cryptocurrencies. It won't stop the technology but I think it is hard for the people using Bitcoin if all of their governments in this world ban it. When China banned Bitcoin, the price went down, that just proves how can it affect the price of Bitcoin.
I can also agree that Bitcoin's biggest threat is the government since they can do a firewall in their country if they really want to ban bitcoin usage on their authority. It has a big impact too, just imagine if all the countries are recognizing the nature of bitcoin and the benefit that it can give to every people, there's a big possibility that online transaction is being widened too. Natural disasters and pandemic are one of the reasons for making the market downfall but the market can really recover from that happenings, just like what happened when the pandemic spreads, the market falls down but look at the market today, it is really pumping and even reaching its highest peak since what happened last three years ago.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: November 27, 2020, 10:04:19 PM
Every market has two sides, bull and bear. When the bull market lasts long enough and there are signs of a reversal, it's time the bear market is about to pull in. Today the market has fallen sharply and many people lose money. I think that the rapid rise in the price of Bitcoin and altcoins has made steady growth not last long. A short-term crash is bound to happen so that the market can keep rising again.
That is because the cryptocurrency is volatile in terms of value, we all know that the price changes constantly because it is on its nature, when there are transactions happening worldwide, there are also equivalent changes on the market especially when whales are doing some transaction. Maybe as of now we are experiencing a bull run on the market but we'll never know when is the time that the market will go down again, but we are all hoping that it will continue to rise until December.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for calling Bitcoin scam on: November 27, 2020, 09:40:06 PM
the longer the year or the more advance we are the more the scams also .

thats why theres always people will say that btc was a scam but i guess the number of it has greatly been reduced and will now be reduced more now that many corporations are now introducing paypal to thier service .

we are now on the 21first century and we are now civilized or modernized in other words , that why there are internet and computers . btc have never been different to them .
Absolutely, as time passes by, the technology also innovating and there are lots of people who can really adapt very well and taking that advantage to scam other people which is not really good, that is why we need to be more intelligent on what we are doing, it is easy to gain some information about the technology so we should not be left behind. We should be more careful online since scams nowadays are through online transactions and on websites. People who are saying that bitcoin is a scam are the ones who are being scammed by other people, and sadly they are being scammed by people who want bitcoin and not bitcoin itself. We all know that.
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: November 27, 2020, 09:20:46 PM
It seems to me, behind the scenes, bitcoin is already, if not a world currency, then a symbol of a free world currency. Bitcoin does not recognize restrictions and controls, this is what we get used to all our lives, to the fact that we are controlled. All financial transactions in the world are controlled. If the banks don't like something, they can send you into a hole. Bitcoin is a chance to find freedom. But it is too early to become a world currency, the volatility is too high, the risks of ordinary citizens are too high.
Indeed, that is because the bitcoin itself is decentralized, meaning there are no groups of people or organizations taking part in this currency or running this cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has already achieved being famous around the world, by simply being used by many people especially investors all around the world. Although there are still countries that are banning the usage of Bitcoin, we are hoping that they will recognize the essence and the benefit when they use it, which is having the fastest and safest mode of transaction worldwide. We are also hoping that through time, the bitcoin itself will innovate.
1077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 27, 2020, 09:00:04 PM
If you want to invest in bitcoin at this time it is a risk that we have to accept quite large because at the moment we do not know if the price continues to increase or just last a moment and will fall back, but it all depends on our own decisions because we all have different beliefs, if I think now is the right time to re-enter.
It is actually better if you just gain some of the important information first, that's good to do for now because if you try to invest your money at a time like this wherein the market is pumping, it is very risky to invest because it is better to put your money on crypto then the value in the market is dumping. We have a saying that we should buy low and sell high, that is true for you to gain profit and not to lose money. It depends on you if you want to risk your money. I simply recommend gaining important information about cryptocurrency first.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To be Fair I think bitcoin will go highest highs and then will collapse on: November 26, 2020, 11:04:14 PM
It's quite funny to see how nonames bitcoin haters with their fantastic predictions revived on the forum. What's even more funny is that they hate Bitcoin during its tremendous growth, although they usually do this when the BTC is weak. If Bitcoin crashes in two years, then your beloved Ripple will go to the bottom with him, you can be sure.
They are speculating without any basis, how can they predict that it will really happen. We all know that the price of bitcoin is volatile, meaning the value is changing constantly as long as there are transactions happening worldwide, but that doesn't really mean that it will collapse easily. As of now, the price of bitcoin falls down but I don't think that it will continue to fall down, we all want to see that bitcoin will reach again its highest peak that happened three years ago.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: November 26, 2020, 10:44:22 PM
The covid-19 has brought so many hard times in many families because companies are shut down, majorly due to lack of returns to pay salaries. This has led to downsizing of work force and some total closure of businesses.
The job loss is witnessed in every country of the world and some countries are predicting serious recession now and in the future.

Above the jobloss and hard times in the real world, those who are in the online businesses have not felt badly compared to those who depend on others or government for salaries.
~

During the Pandemic, the online business provides a good opportunity for everyone who lost their job, all they have to do is learning a new thing.
among the list, probably the easiest one is dropshipping, there are plenty of options out there for getting started and register on e-commerce.
Even with limited resources, someone could start doing it with just a smartphone and internet connection.
Indeed, it was actually a great help to those affected by the pandemic especially the people who lose their job because of the quarantine, there are lots of online businesses that are rising and becoming famous because some people who really want to earn are really putting their time and effort to those online businesses to help their family. But still, there are lots of websites or any other organization that are taking advantage of the situation, giving other people hopes to earn money and giving some promising words but still, they have eager to scam other people, that is why we should still be careful of those people.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to buy now on discount? on: November 26, 2020, 10:23:29 PM
Hi guys, what is a good altcoin to buy now that we are having a correction? Seems like a good discount.

if you choose the TOP 100 coin at coinmarketcap list, you do the right
maybe the first is ethereum, this altcoins will growing more when this corrections over
then you can check this alts tron, binance chain, chainlink and cardano buddy

There are actually lots of altcoins that you can trust and it is really a good idea to choose those coins that are on the top list at the coinmarketcap since those coins are the most trusted by the investors. But since the market is now rising, it is risky to invest at a time like this because you bought a token at a high price it may be a loss to you if that particular token dumps. But if you already bought before the pump of every token in the market, it is a good idea to hold it since there is still a possibility that it will still increase in terms of value.
