1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 03, 2020, 04:51:57 AM
In terms of selling tokens that might be the problem because some of the bounty hunters are selling even at a low price and they cannot wait until the price pumps, it can affect the value of the tokens. But in terms of their work while the project is running, I think they are also helpful by doing their tasks in the campaign, it is either they are promoting here or in other platform like social media which is helpful to the campaign because they can gain more investors.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 03, 2020, 04:11:54 AM
My holdings have nothing to do with the pandemic since I am aiming for higher gains, I will still hold it for a longer time until the prices rises up. I have actually few tokens that I am holding for a long time. It actually depends on the people if they will spend that because at a time like this, profit is hard to gain since pandemic is still there but if you have savings that you can use, maybe just hold your bitcoin and wait for it to rise up in value.

1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 30, 2020, 02:09:18 PM
For now, we can say 2017 is the golden year. But I think we will have better golden years in the coming years. Cryptocurrencies are still unknown to many people. As more people learn, we are approaching a new golden year.
I can say that 2017 was really the Golden Year of Cryptocurrency. Because at that time almost all of the ICO projects are running successfully and giving every investor and bounty hunters profit. Almost all of the project that time is being supported, every platform, website, and technology that is being innovated is supported. That is the time also that bitcoin value reached its highest peak of price wherein it reaches twenty thousand dollars before christmas as far as I remember, it is actually good for every bitcoin holder that time making their holdings tripled or even become tenfold.
1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 30, 2020, 01:45:46 PM
There are actually lots of ways of investing when it comes to cryptocurrency especially using bitcoin. It actually becomes famous when the price of bitcoin really pumps up and reached its highest value reaching $20k in 2017. That was actually called the golden era of bitcoin. There are so many investors at that time that they are lending their money into some ICO or some trading sites just to make it bigger and gain more profit. They are willing to risk their money to gain profit, up until now there are still lots of investors who are risking their money on cryptocurrency. It's just a matter of knowledge and understanding about cryptocurrency on how it works so that you can actually consider lots of things for you to avoid failure such as scams.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 29, 2020, 02:24:27 PM
It actually depends on the project itself, because there are some projects that have a really good platform, roadmap,, and website which you can consider before joining, sometimes they are using their own account to manage the project (newbie), so you can really trust that one. But if there's a project that is not promising and they have not a good platform and website, we can say that it is a scam since there are lots of people who are deceiving others just by creating their own project and own account to manage that. There are also some projects that have a manager that is high rank in the forum but still failing, you should be careful on where you invest your money.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 29, 2020, 05:17:59 AM
I think these people tried to invest fast on bitcoin without doing a little research in everything, we all know that cryptocurrency is complex and not easy to understand so if you lend your money that fast without knowing everything, you are taking risks of your money. Maybe you should study little information first so you can secure your funds. And when you are already knowledgeable you can try and if you fail, keep on trying because you might invest in such a project that fails also. Failure is natural, just do not stop and keep trying.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 29, 2020, 04:04:18 AM
It's gone. That is actually one of the reasons why you should tell at least one member of your family which you trust the most about your wallets and investments. So that your money will not go to waste when you die, we hope not but we are all going to. It's completely gone when you die and no one really knows your wallet password and everything that has money on it. Maybe you should save it into a private folder in your computer or mobile device so that when you pass away there's one member who can open that file or folder containing important account and wallet password.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 28, 2020, 01:41:49 PM
I use the current coinbase and myetherwallet wallet. Trading on coinbase is also quick and convenient, myetherwallet is familiar when I know ETH. I have no trouble with them, both are very safe until now.

I also trust Coinbase, which is the trusted one. Besides, there are those that also deserve the attention. They can be chosen for crypto transactions and operations. Blockchain and Matbea, for instance, are very good. However, one can always pick the wallet he likes himself.
I am also using coinbase as my wallet because it has high security and it is famous to be used by many people in trading or investment. This is really a trusted wallet to be used, instead of using the not familiar wallet, you should use a famous one so that the probability of losing money is low, especially there are lots of wallets out there that are scam, worst part is you can lose your money, so we better be careful.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: October 28, 2020, 04:58:13 AM
I think it actually depends on the price of bitcoin in the future. If the value of bitcoin rises up there's a big possibility that the payment in any transaction may rises up too. But maybe because of the mass adoption, that may happen in the future, the value of gas may not rise, and that is a good thing. As of now, bitcoin is continouosly becoming popular all around the world, especially at a time like this when there's a pandemic and we need to be careful in every transaction. That makes bitcoin more famous today.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: October 28, 2020, 01:29:22 AM
Limits on the bounty campaign is really good idea because sometimes it is a cause also why the rewards is very low when campaign ends and they get the rewards. Many bounty hunters now and we know some of them are joining their multiple accounts so they get a high rewards than the other 1 account only and I hope those hunters be honest and don't join their other accounts to one campaign so the other people can join also to the campaign.
Absolutely, there should be limits on bounty campaigns because there is also limited supply allocated on the bounty and it is split into different types. There should also be a KYC when the payout is applied so that the people who have multiple accounts cannot get it. I am good at fixed rewards so that there is no confusion. Limited participants is better for the active users to be rewarded based really on what they deserved.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 27, 2020, 11:07:42 PM
As we know as a crypto Community most of people's think that a Bitcoin (any crypto currency) is illegal and scam. But Now Paypal officially integrated inbuilt features to buy/sell Bitcoin , Etherium , USDT and etc. So It is a great slap to the mostly people who think Crypto is illegal. Now they understand the power of crpyto in upcoming less than 2 years and it will change whole market , the early adopters will take great benefit.

Their is no two ways about it, doubting people who their emotions is that bitcoin is a scam, it's here I realised that if you are not informed you are totally deformed, because those who try to castigates the images of bitcoin are not informed about Btc, therefore their ideas or suggestions shall see as a contribution of novice cryptocurrency especially bitcoin transactions and investment's.
Indeed, I can say that scam and illegal are different. We all know that illegal is not authorized by the law while scam is an act that deceiving people to satisfy their own wants. There is no point in thinking that bitcoin is a scam, there are lots of people that have that kind of thinking. If you try to really understand, there is an opportunity for you to make a profit because of investments, as long as you are well-knowledgeable.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: October 27, 2020, 01:08:42 PM
Considering that market has a lot of projects to be offer, many are good but some are not. So my only fear which I really don't wanna experience is that being deceived or fooled by a scam projects. But through this we have a lot of things that can be considered to avoid getting scam, and always take a risk but we just need to take a long time digging about the project when where up to.
As long as you are too knowledgeable about what you are doing, it is hard for you to lose your own money. There are actually lots of things you can consider to avoid that. There are indeed lots of scam projects that are rising but if you are too cautious about it, I think you can actually recognize what is good and what is bad for your money. Being well-informed is important.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 27, 2020, 02:45:52 AM
There is a lot of Benefits of having bitcoin of course the main reason is to make profit in investing on it. Aside from that it is really use it to the transaction because it easy to use compared to the others . Every year the name lf the bitcoin is known by a lot of people and it is good for the crypto world because it means it grow our community and everyone will gets benefits to the bitcoin.
Most of the bitcoin users' goal is to gain profit on cryptocurrency and that's one of the advantages of being a crypto user.

I benefit a lot from cryptocurrency and helped me in different things especially in the academe. But the important thing for me is the knowledge I gain in cryptocurrency. It will become useful in the future especially right now where blockchain is in demand.

This is also the stepping stone for the implementation of a cashless society in the future, maybe it's the greatest benefit of the bitcoin.
Indeed, their benefits on bitcoin are the profit itself, that they can make their own money in their own way. We all know that there are lots of ways to make your own money using your bitcoin, there are investments, trading, gambling and etc. As time passes by, bitcoin is becoming famous all around the world and every country is adopting its usage since bitcoin can make every transaction all around the world possible and fastest to do.

1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: October 27, 2020, 01:54:33 AM
The first cryptocurrency that I received was not Bitcoin. I had Litecoin in my wallet even before I received any Bitcoin. But unfortunately all of my Litecoin holdings are lost. I lost some of them when Wex.nz closed down in 2018. Whatever I had after that was gone in 2019, when Cryptopia was hacked. I still have some emotional attachment with LTC and now I regret my decision to keep my holdings in exchange wallets.
I have actually a lot since 2017 but not all of them are in the market. I am joining lots of bounty campaigns at that time and not all of them are becoming successful, but there are also become successful but when they appeared at the market, the price really dumps and I got no reason to sell it, so I hold it instead of selling it at a low price.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2020, 01:56:50 PM
I gather short videos on youtube that you can pass to your parents, grandparents, and for any other conservative people  Grin

How to explain Cryptocurrencies to Your grandparents? by Altcoin Nerds
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivntqBxkbXI

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies explained for beginners by TRT World
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO7r89_Kg7c

Bitcoin explained and made simple by The Guardian
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4g1XFU8Gto

my favorite is this one,
What is Cryptocurrency? by IMF
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDetuRLQso8
This is indeed a good technique to make them understand bitcoin. Actually, visual representation is easy to understand instead of just explaining it verbally because they can picture in their mind what they are seeing while listening. This is to spread the good effect, benefit and essence of bitcoin or why it is being created. Aside from that, they can also apply what they can learn by understanding every single information about bitcoin, they can make their own money, or they can invest, as long as they really understand what bitcoin is.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 26, 2020, 11:35:36 AM
The real question should be — Can you trust any project at all?

Almost every new project this day is including DeFi to its makeup, even when it clearly doesn't have anything to do with decentralized finance, just to deceive people. Well, the thing for me is that I won't invest in any ICO that is on a medical project to start with. I did that in the past and I know the setback I suffered on that. The DeFi angle to the project OP wrote about doesn't even sit well with me, notwithstanding. However, it doesn't mean the project won't succeed or all that. Though I will advise those putting in their money on it should only invest money they can afford to lose. The risk is there.
As of now, DeFi projects are really making lots of people profitable. There's actually lots of projects that are rising and many investors are putting their money to earn such a big money. But still, there are scam DeFi projects that are being produced, so we should be careful.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: October 26, 2020, 03:47:03 AM
Why people want this feature so much? What will you get from this? You will only loose on conversion at transaction fees
Indeed, why spend your bitcoin like that when you can actually use that to invest more in crypto, you should use your spare money when buying something especially your basic needs. At a time like this bitcoin is becoming popular and there's a lot of countries that are adopting cryptocurrency as a payment. It is really helpful this time because of the pandemic so we don't need to hold physical money or fiat.
