1781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 22, 2017, 02:00:32 AM
I sold my bitcoin today. I think the price jumped too much too fast. My opinion is that it will drop below 5,000 soon and in that case I will buy back again because i expect bitcoin to increase significantly in the long term.
What do you think??
Edit: If you are wondering at what price, i sold at $5720. I bought Litecoin with ithat money.
That is still a good decision if you are already satisfied with it and since you don"t want to risk and to assyre that you'll sell it with a high value. But at this moment, its balue is continuously increasing that already reached 6000$ and still continues. You may still invest and go along with the pumps to earn profit. If you didn't sell it early, your profit will be bigger but it's not too late too again, invest.
1782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical day bitcoin price 6000 $ on: October 22, 2017, 12:18:03 AM
Capitalization $ 100 billion

price ratio 6030 $

How do you think this year is coming?

Comment and be part of the story !!

Next year, maybe, it will be able to reach a market value of 8000$ and that's clearly possible especially if the hardfork in November will be successful and if the increase on its value will be continuous. As of this moment, the demand on Bitcoin is surprisingly high, investors of other coins are moving, making the demand increase and its value more expensive. So reaching a high market value won't be impossible for Bitcoin.
1783  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ? on: October 21, 2017, 11:35:09 PM
What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ?
Yup, I believe that it is possible for Bitcoin to reach 7000$ before this year end knowing that the increase on its market value is continuous and knowing that there's an incoming hardfork in November. And if the fork will be successful, surely it will make the market value of Bitcoin more expensive just like the recent one, making Bitcoin to achieve that amount as this year end.
1784  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC be at $10,000? Take a Guess on: October 21, 2017, 12:49:20 PM
When will BTC value be $10,000 take a guess
When do you think?

I have all ready made 2 post with each target, the fist target was to reach $2,000 usd  and it took almost 42 months to achieved that goal from the date the thread was made.

Here is the 1st thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359105.msg3842063#msg3842063

On the second thread the target change to $5,000 usd, and it took less than 5 months to achieved it, from the date the thread was made.
Heres is the 2nd thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1928740.msg19145735#msg19145735

Now this is the 3rd thread asking the same question but with a target of $10,000 usd

So what is your Guess? Do you think it will reach the 10K? and when?
I think Bitcoin will be able to reach that amount, next year. I can't say that before this year end it will already have a value of that high. Maybe, the highest value that it may reach especially if the hardfork will be successful, is 8000$, given the fact that there are only two months left before this year end.
1785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 21, 2017, 12:04:34 PM
Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.
I think, no one can determine how long exactly Bitcoin will exist. There are lots of possible thing that may happen. I think the only way that will make Bitcoin down for a long period of time is if there'll be another coin that will be better than Bitcoin in all aspects. It will affect Bitcoin negatively since it is possible that the demand it is getting from the market might be moved to that certain coin, making its value to fall. Also its users might move to that coin if and only if, a coin such that, will exist.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 21, 2017, 10:14:54 AM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?
It is only because of what happened with China and ICOs. It resylted to major cryptocurrency downfall but it is already done. Most of the coins are now recovering and some have already fully recovered. It proves that all coins won't die just because of what happened. One good example is Bitcoin, which became more successful after the downfall.
1787  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 21, 2017, 08:33:02 AM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Well, it's their decision. But in general, Cash, fiat or regular currency won't be totally obsolete by Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency since it is widely used in most of the countries unlike Bitcoin wherein there are still counties where it is not yet legal. Also, Cash is already functioning for lots of years that have passed up to the present so it would be impossible that Cash will be no longer to be used in the future.
1788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons Why Bitcoin Price Drops on: October 21, 2017, 07:53:44 AM
I would like to know your opinion on what factors cause the value of Bitcoin to drop. A brief explanation helps.
The factors that affects its value is the demand that it is getting in the market. It is the same with a normal product in the market in relation with the supply and demand. So whenever that factor changes, Bitcoin's market value is falling. And as of this moment, its value is continuously rising so it means that the demand is high.
1789  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will go down? on: October 21, 2017, 03:48:46 AM
Theory

I think because many people are buying now BTC due to "free money" the schedule to be at November ( BTC GOLD ) I believe that its price should go down because many people also transfer there funds from altcoin to bitcoin
And it good time to buy altcoin ( maybe wait even a bit longer )

What do you think?
Still, backdrops are expected given the fact that Bitcoin is volatile but I think it won't be that much, referring to the backdrop. It will be in favor for its users and investors if the increase on it value continues for the next months to come. Maybe, if the price continues to increase, it will be able to reach the 7000$-mark before this year end ,and if the fork will be successful.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: October 21, 2017, 03:15:08 AM

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
It surely won"t and it is already proven. Bitcoin is ble to recover and still manage to be more expensive. Form being down to 3300$ it is now at 6000$ and is still increasing. This clearly shows that Bitcoin can still be successful without China and won't die just because China left even if it is one of the major investor.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin for beginners to start trading? on: October 21, 2017, 01:09:19 AM
Please me Im new to trading cryptocurrency. What is the best crypto that I should start to trade? Any expert advice?
I think it would be better if they would start with Etherium since ETH can be earned from campaigns which most of the people here are into. Most of the campaigns are ETH-based so, the chance of earning ETH in every campaign is big. And also, they will already earn profit from storing ETH since its value is increasing. Bitcoin is also a good option but I prefer Etherium.
1792  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin can hit 7000$ before end of this year on: October 20, 2017, 09:44:04 PM
Can bitcoin reach 7000$ before December?
What do you think?
I think it will.
Absolutely possible. It is now priced at 6000$ and reaching a market value of 7000 in 2 months will not be a problem knowing that there'll be a hardfork in November, and if it will be a success, surely, by the end of this year, Bitcoin will be more expensive just like what happened in the previous segwit2x last month of August that made Bitcoin's value to go skyrocket.
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: October 15, 2017, 07:33:00 PM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
I agree with your argument. There's a possibility that Bitcoin and other digital currency will replace regular currency or fiat in the future as the advancement on technology continues. If people will rely more onto technologies, it is possible that someday, that day will come where people will be fond of using digital currency since it will be a part of modern life routine which is with technology.
1794  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: October 15, 2017, 04:13:59 PM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

In my opinion, Bitcoin's price matters a lot. As its value is getting more expensive, bigger profit will be to its users and investors. So the profit that each if its users are earning is also proportional to the value of Bitcoin such that whatever happens to its value will also happen to the profit to be earned.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: October 15, 2017, 02:32:00 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
I don't think so. But maybe it will go this way, if Bitcoin dies altcoin will rise. Since the demand is being divided into alts and Bitcoin. It is just that Bitcoin is having a larger community and market value. So if Bitcoin will be gone, all the demand that it is getting and its community will go or be moved to altcoin that will make altcoin something to look forward with if this thing will happen.
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 14, 2017, 11:53:22 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?
Ofcourse I'd still support Etherium. Etherium at this point is continuously growing from the size of the community to its demand and market value. Problems such as what you've mentioned is already overcame by Etherium. It is now widely used in ICOs which makes the demand high that positively affects its market value making it high. So it is still worth supporting.
1797  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC hit $5600+ on: October 14, 2017, 11:10:34 PM
BTC is huge increase $5600+
i have 3BTC now what can i do SELL or HOLD?
Please suggest me
your best recommended drop below

That's definitely true. It is becoming more expensive. That's a huge amount of money if you're going to sell it at this point. But there's still probability that Bitcoin's value will increase for more since there'll be a hardfork. I suggest you to hold because if the hardfork in November will be successful, your profit from selling your Bitcoin will be bigger than now.
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: October 14, 2017, 10:47:28 PM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins
It's a big NO. It is true that the profit that its users especially the investors are getting is huge but it won't still be enough. Bitcoin is volatile and everyone here knows that. It means there are times that the value of Bitcoin is falling, meaning, the profit will also be low. A job's salary is constant, which is unlike in Bitcoin. Doing both will be more suggested especially if your goal is to earn bigger income. And practically, doing the same thing at the same time will result into good income.
1799  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 10:23:24 PM
When is the best time to buy bitcoin and when do you think is the best time to sell?
I think its a great time to buy now but when is a good time to sell (if you have any idea please share)
The best time is during the backdrops or everytime that its market value is falling and to sell whenever there's an increase on its value. And keep in mind that you should not doubt when its value is decreasing since it will eventually increase. This is the smartest way to earn profit on investing to Bitcoin. At this point,it is also a good idea to buy since its market value is continuously increasing. And as its value increases, huge profit will be to the investors.
1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin drop back down? on: October 14, 2017, 03:44:15 PM
Hey guys,

So thinking about it. It seems like the reason BItcoin is rising so fast is because everyone is putting there money in because of the upcoming "Bitcoin Gold" fork. (That is my opinion not a fact)

So do you think after the fork on the 25th it will start to decrease back to where it usually is let's say around 4K.

Anyone else been thinking this?
I am thinking that despite of its continuous increase on its market value, as the month of November is getting near, I am expecting for backdrops to take place since a hardfork will happen. But I am not expecting that its value will decrease after the hardfork especially if it will be a success. And its market value at this point is getting more expensive making it impossible for its price to decrease upto 4k as what you've mentioned.
