Real Madrid's performance against Villarreal didn't satisfy me at all. Of course the result is the most important thing here but this level of effort isn't good enough for the rest of the season.

Hopefully Real Madrid won't maintain the same effort in the La Liga and Champions League. Otherwise it would be very difficult for them to win a title. Athletic Bilbao are another challenging team to defeat for Real Madrid. Because there isn't a big difference between Villarreal and them now. It feels like both teams would find goal(s) comfortably. But for the result of the match I can't be confident of anything now. Real Madrid might be able to win by a close margin again maybe. They had better do so to prevent the point gap with Barcelona to get bigger.

Ancelotti's strategy didn't work out perfectly in the first half, Villarreal continued to press in the first half, so Ancelotti's strategy didn't go well. Villarreal's performance was very impressive and was able to score a quick goal in the fourth minute through an assist by Gerard Moreno and completed by Etienne Capoue, towards the end of the first half Samuel Chukwueze added to Villarreal's lead. Ancelotti began to respond in the second half, Dani Ceballos and Marco Asensio came on for Toni Kroos and Rodrygo.

Substitutions made by Ancelotti managed to make Real Madrid find the rhythm of the game, Vinicius Junior scored the first goal, while Eder Militao and Dani Ceballos completed two goals for Real Madrid's victory in that match, Dani Ceballos' impressive performance must be a consideration for Ancelotti to give him more playing time.

Yes, Ancelotti's strategy failed miserably in the first half, but we have to admit that Villarreal played brilliantly and scored two fast goals. Real Madrid's replacements, however, showed that in soccer, everything is possible. Amazingly, they were able to alter the tide of the game and score three goals. But Villarreal is also deserving of praise for their performance, particularly those two early goals. Real Madrid was under a huge deal of strain, and it was evident that they own some exceptional players. If they can learn to maintain their advantage and continue playing at this level, they will definitely earn the Copa title. I was very excited to meet Real after he had overcome the challenges.

I assume Atletico Madrid will end their winless streak of two matches this time. They are going to host Valladolid tomorrow and it is an easy win on paper.

Atletico Madrid have a huge domination over their opponent in their history. Valladolid have had a terrible form in the recent times as well. They lost four matches in a row and this would be a big demotivation source for them. I'm aware of how bad Atletico Madrid are this season. But I still think this is a match in which they can lose points. I expect a dominating game from their side in both halves and a win by two goals in the worst case. They really need this win while they are having issues.

The strategy implemented by Real Madrid did not work effectively, they were still lucky because the players in the squad were able to show hard work that allowed them to still give their best for the results of the match. I can't imagine when the players who are now key to their game are no longer in the squad. Maybe it will be a very significant decrease. They had to move as quickly as possible to solve the problems they were now facing. In the future the schedule of matches they will play will be very tight, and surely they will be forced to rotate players, and that's when the vulnerability will be even greater.

Real Madrid did not have any control over this match in the first half. I believe that Real Madrid could have done better in the first half and especially on the defensive side of things. I know that Real Madrid has a great record of making comebacks. But that does not disregard the fact that it is still very scary. Real Madrid could have very easily lost that match.

And yes I also agree that Real Madrid will have to play a lot of matches in a very short period of time. So, I think there will be some problems for Real Madrid players to perform consistently in all those matches.

Even if you look at the first half they weren't like Real Madrid because they always made a few unforced errors which made it difficult for them to keep up with Villarreal and of course the 2 goals were proof of their carelessness.
But for an impressive comeback I quite agree with what you said because regardless of anything they can always be there and it's interesting to see Ceballos as a supersub in this match, this is inseparable from the contribution of the Madrid players who immediately surrounded Villarreal in the final minutes which made this very good for brand win.

Actually here Mallorca is better they are in 10th place the La Liga table, also this match will be held at Iberostar Stadium the advantage as a host definitely big for them. Even at home they can to win against Atletico Madrid at November, meanwhile Celta Vigo in 16th place but their last 5 matches in La Liga are not too bad. This match maybe equally strong so I think there will be a draw, what do you think guys?

Looking at the head to head statistics for the two teams proves that both are equally strong, but certainly at home, Mallorca is far superior in this match. Celta Vigo are almost at the relegation zone line at the moment, if they are able to win this match they can immediately move up to 12th in the standings and shift Valencia's position. Maybe my prediction is 1-0 for Mallorca to win.

Real Madrid should improve their defensive play because they have conceded a lot in recent matches. They played well in attack, not every team can score 3 goals against Villarreal and besides, it was a strong-willed victory.

I don't recognize Villarreal, I can't remember the last time they missed three goals in one half, they should have played better defensively in the second half, especially since they are good at it.

In the next match, Real Madrid will travel to Atletico Bilbao's headquarters. This will be a difficult match for them. Even though Atletico Bilbao is in 8th place with only one win in their last 5 matches, Atletico Bilbao is not a weak team. They are in the middle of the table and usually the team that is there will show a lot of surprises, and that can happen in their matches. Real Madrid must be really wary of them.

I agree that this was a beautiful comeback by Real Madrid, however they need to work on their defences because it was not upto the high standards set by them. Furthermore I yet believe that Real Madrid can win the La Liga title, because matches like these are a reminder of their champions mentality and thus I believe that this mentality will be the key difference as the season progresses.

Maybe this is a strategy that the Real Madrid club must change as optimally as possible, they have to change a little from their defense to get even better, lately Real Madrid's games have been getting more interesting, even this comeback match is very meaningful for the Real Madrid club, now we believe that Real Madrid will be able to win the La Liga title, even though barcelona slaughtered Real Madrid in the Super Cup match yesterday, we still believe that Real Madrid can win this La Liga Cup.

What I don't really like about this is that Ancelotti always does some experiments to replace Modric in central midfield.
They have made some changes such as when putting Camavinga in this position which is usually Tchouameni and there were several times when they put Tchoameni in the left midfield position. even though this is good for conditions where something undesirable happens, still not all players can be rotated like this. Valverde may still be able to be deployed anywhere in midfield or on the wing but not everyone can be like that.

Sevilla have a home game against Cadiz this time. This should have been a comfortable win for them on paper. However things don't look that way even though bookies are seeing Sevilla favourite very highly. The odds can be tricky in such situations.

Because Cadiz are even above Sevilla in the standings now. They have nearly the same points while they are maintaining their presence in the relegation area. In this bad situation, I wouldn't see Sevilla trustworthy for the win even a bit. I would rather giving both teams to score a chance here. These are both teams trying to get out of this area and they both have horrible defenses. I expect both sides to play attacking football and this should help us see a couple of goals at least.

The problem of defense is becoming serious for Real Madrid,  Real Madrid have been showing some weakness in their defense earlier in the season but yet it is a problem they find it tough to work on since then. The problem of defense has affected Real Madrid from getting more point to lead laliga and other games. When Real Madrid used to be in their good form Villarreal is not a team Real Madrid needs to struggle to win.  Their was no much difference between Real Madrid performance and Villarreal.

When it comes to Sevilla I feel positive about their next game honestly. Cadiz are really a team that they can beat home.

It can still be a very challenging game for them considering their recent effort. But this is really one of the games they should be able to win for their sake. They can't do better against big teams obviously. They need to put a big effort into the other games to guarantee their staying in the La Liga at least. After all those games I guess Sevilla's main goal is to cling to the La Liga. The Europa League might be in the second plan now.

Real madrid are already trailing 1-0 to villarreal where a goal came in the 4th minute by Capoue in the last 16 of the Copa del rey. if you look at the depth of the real madrid squad in this match, of course they came down with a fairly complete squad, but villarreal was able to score goals early and this was quite an impressive pressure exerted by villarreal. The atmosphere of the game was getting more interesting because Real Madrid tried to equalize but until the 31th minute there was no sign that Real Madrid was able to do this. Pretty sweet comeback from Madrid. I honestly felt for the first half that they were hopeless, but seeing the second half despite losing possession they were able to turn it into a win for them.
With this result they advanced to the next round and of course this is something good apart from avenging losing in La Liga it also makes them have more motivation to go through the next match.

I think the reason was confusion, maybe they had not recovered at that time from the previous defeat. Although this version is a bit silly, because this is soccer and you can not dwell on previous failures, in order to focus on the next matches. I think this win gave them confidence

A second loss in a row and elimination from the tournament would have been a big blow, but once again an epic comeback and Real Madrid avoided such a deep failure in such a short period of time. I'm very happy for Vinicius - he scored the most important goal that was the start of this comeback and it was a good response to the criticism that has been heard towards him lately.

Yesterday we have two matches which were play on same tempo and have similar results as well, but I was not expecting result like this from Real Madrid because they already lost their match against same opponent few days back in La Liga match and now things were not good for them, but they have done amazing fight back announce about their strength as well which could be surely now understandable for many these were feeling they are already out of the competition.

After trailing by two goals at the end of the first half Real Madrid and Manchester City both fights back in style and win their respective matches which is surely impressive from these both teams which are already on same level in their respective leagues and now have same challenge after few days in Champions League hopefully things could be good and favourable for them to win their challenging matches and qualification of the next round.

Atlético Madrid is having problems against weaker teams as well because their current strategy is not working for them, and they are not able to have consistency which is badly hurting them and with this current form they can face troubling end of this season because right now we have Real Sociedad, Betis and Athletics Bilbao as biggest challenges for them which can bring them down from their chances of going into Champions League for the next season with their current form.

Valladolid is surely having bad time as well but Atlético Madrid performance can give them some lifeline for having positive end of this match because few weak teams already steal the points from them and feel good, let's watch how things gone for the these two teams in tomorrow match.
