1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning be aware from Bestcloudsellers on: March 15, 2023, 12:58:46 PM
How could you trust a person with not even a single reputation in this forum with $40?
I wouldn't even trust such a newbie account, with $1

After be sends me the account, the account in question is protected   by 2 factor auth that I  dont have access to , so the account is useless.
Could you please post a screenshot of the account in question requesting for 2FA verification?

This looks like you purchased a Stripe account which the scammer never mentioned in any the service thread. And you could have cut your loss by not sending the second payment and using an escrow in the first place. Sorry for your loss.
Nothing can be done at this moment than to tag the scammers profile.
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Am selling bitcoin for a discount on: March 14, 2023, 09:17:01 PM
Am selling my btc account containing 0.3 btc for ethereum if it is a reputable member I go first

Unless you can withdraw funds to another wallet address (non custodial), it is probably a scam.

Please provide more details so that I can better understand your offer.
Most likely is a scam.
I am sure he going to ask you to register for an account on a platform and send you the BTC, thinking you'd send on-chain ETH to his/her wallet address.
It's better to avoid a transaction like this with OP judging by the post history the account.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Metalottery.Win - Crypto Lottery 100% Decentralized on: March 14, 2023, 09:04:57 PM
As much as I love the concept of your website, I am more concerned about the past and current performance of PLT token as shown on Coinmarketcap and it isn't really impressive and it would scare someone like me to want to purchase a token with low daily transaction volume and little liquidity. Just imagine a big win and I am unable to trade my tokens because there is no liquidity.
And also, the tokenomics are confusing as well. Currently, the top two holders are holding around 70% of the supply which is huge. According to the whitepaper, 35% is meant for Allocation for lottery pools will be distributed for 2 years for promotion and adoption, but i see nothing like that here. Wallet address 0x2179ef18000938434ffd6608631961d164def3b4 is holding 37.6408% and has been the one making outgoing transactions which I believe could be the wallet that's handling the promotion and adoption but isn't the 35% like the whitepaper said. The second wallet holding 33.7218% doesn't have outgoing transaction and the last incoming transaction on the wallet an amount 5.4 million tokens. Do you mind explaining what the wallet is meant for and why the tokenomics doesn't actually match well?
Welcome to the forum btw. Hoping to read your response.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 14, 2023, 02:40:25 PM

Managing finances properly is key to our financial life, which is well known to each of us, I guess. I feel like this is in my bones so sometimes I make some decisions subconsciously. I recently ran into a situation where I found myself really awkward. Last July or August(I can't remember that clearly), one of my extended family cousin asked me for three thousand dollars as he lost his job and could not pay off his loans. I refuse to lend him the money cause I knew him well that he was not a solid trustworthy guy. A few days ago we met on a family reunion occasion and he did not really talk to me and I suddenly realized that it was because I didn't lend him money last year. I think about it twice and if he had not been that untrustworthy, I would have definitely lent him the money. Anyway, I hope he is doing fine now and best wishes to him.

Sometimes the hardest thing it takes to learn in life is the ability to say no. There are some extreme examples and emergencies, where if you have a strong relationship, that goes equally both ways - then it can make sense to give someone money to help them out, if you have it to spare. However the keyword there is give. Lending money to friends and family is only going to lead to lots of problems in the longer run. If they need money then give it to them on the basis that you expect to lose it all and only what you can reasonably afford, that way when they do pay it back it works out best for everyone. Nobody that asks, essentially begs, for money and is angry when you refuse is worth being around anyway - your cousin did you a favor by showing how little they value you.

You know why I did not lend him the money ? We had not seen each other for years and even when we were young, he was taking every opportunity to take advantage of me. I still remember him negelecting me and my calls for so reason and how come when he needed money, he would just call me to ask for money ? To be honest, I did have the money but I refused to lend him. I bet if I were to give him the money, he would disappear for years and I would never get my money back. Well, you are absolutely right that his holding grudge shows how little he values me. Saying no to him was the right thing I have done.

This right here!
You had genuine intentions for him when you were guys were young but he had the opposite. I wonder why he lost his job in the first place. And there is also a lot more than the story he might have cooked up for you.
It very risky to associate money with such person.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 13, 2023, 08:49:45 PM
Nothing to feel bad about here. I understand it's family but one must think first about risks when it comes to lending no matter the story they cook up. And good thing you know your cousin well and was able to take a good decision and not the other way, which could have led to lose of that money.
Communicate with him and do like nothing happened.
6  Economy / Lending / Re: I need a 220 usd loan, please (filled) on: March 13, 2023, 07:12:32 PM
I already knew it was going to end bad, reading the first few posts and the negative tags on OP profile.
It is a really big mistake to lend someone, especially a newbie a non collateral.
Lender should have been patient and maybe someone would have made a caution.
Lesson learnt here today.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 13, 2023, 06:53:55 PM
I personally think futures trading is only for the professionals. Even professional traders, at times, find it difficult to manage futures trading.
Most newbies lose money in futures trading. Beginners should master spot trading first before they dive into futures.
The thought of getting higher returns by using higher leverage is the main reason why many lose money eventually.

I totally agree with you. Beginners are not much experienced with their funds management. In future trading we should have a entry point and exit point with proper analysis but but in many times beginners falls into the trap and gets liquidated. That is the worst part of Future Trading to be liquidated.
This is not only beginners problem, expert traders also get liquidated.
One can lose money in both futures and spot trading. Only tools needs is discipline to an higher extent and not allowing greed take over ones mind.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Common red flag to detect a scam on: March 13, 2023, 12:38:22 PM

-High pressure tactics: A key indicator of a potential scam is if you receive repeated messages and calls from the investment firm urging you to act quickly or risk losing the opportunity, Bonuses, or discounts that are being offered at the time. So it's Always important to take your time to research well and fully comprehend what you are getting into.

This is how most scammers are able to scam their victim. Trying to capture their victim mind without them having to say no or think twice.
This is currently being used by scammers in NFT space. They always claim to have received millions of funding from big VCs but they end up setting a high mint price, or they give or short mint window so as to create FOMO.
Proper research and investigation will help a lot if you sense this kind of tactic.
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What could make an exchange to seize users assets on: March 13, 2023, 12:25:37 PM
Crypto exchanges can seize users fund for reason like
receiving stolen funds
discrepancies in details submitted during account registration or insufficient info during AML process.
use of unsupported tools in ones account.
there are lot to mention And these exchanges will never give you reasons because of confidential reasons.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will shiba inu coin beat bitcoin ? on: October 31, 2021, 10:33:19 PM
Top 5? Yes.
With the current hype? No.
They need to come up with something apart from being just a meme coin. Look at supply for example, it's too much and would take time for it's mcap to go up.
Invest and take your profit just like everyone else.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors desire on meme coins are insane on: October 31, 2021, 03:23:49 PM
But they can't beat the coins you mentioned in terms of mcap and use cases. This meme coins are just trends which dies sooner or later. It's better to invest wisely in them and divert their profits into big mcap coins.

" 31,666,666$
Assuming mark invested in bitcoin at the time instead of buying WhatsApp.  Currently he would have become one of the highest holder of bitcoin or probably  the richest man alive at the moment  thereby leaving a very thin line for anyone to surpass his wealth, investing  in bitcoin would have been a wiser choice though.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TWT x Binance Exchange on: December 29, 2020, 09:47:45 PM
Yeah, some twt is cool but what the point if it not listed on binance?
It's uses Binance Chain and also listed on BinanceDex and otherexchanges including Same Binance also own Trustwallet. As OP said, you need to withdraw it from Binance before January 5, 2021.
TWT has been performing really well and I think it will do more, next year. A lot of TWT was airdropped and price didn't really crashed.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really 'Sell High and Buy Low' in this 2020 BITCOIN Bull Run? on: December 29, 2020, 07:41:09 PM
Well, you already in profit. If you're good at trading, you could have made a lot of profit with the little price reversal that happens especially when it got to over 28k and went back down to 26k and did a little pump.
If you aren't good, you could start accumulating every dip and always find a good entry.
19  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ledger Email on: December 29, 2020, 06:15:39 PM

We're going to see at least a couple of attempts per week, performed upon the leaked Ledger database, with whatever pretext (be it Ledger related or not).

So many attempts but one could easily tell that it's fake with the mail subject I received, only a newbie would click a Google form link when it appears to be clearly fake and unprofessional. I only signed up for newsletter on the email I received the phishing link on. Ledger needs to upgrade their level of security.
Imagine what was sent to a user email. I actually saw this in a Facebook group
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Fake Ledger Email on: December 29, 2020, 04:30:12 PM
I received and email two days ago from a fake Ledger email saying that there's a withdrawal attempt on my Ledger device. I opened the link which is a Google form link but the page looks like it was well edit to look like a normal web page. There's is a part to choose Ledger model. This is an attempt to steal people's keys and seeds.
Form link which doesn't seem to be loading.
Then it redirects to this
