A nice balance of both is necessary  . It also depends on your risk taking appetite. Save what you invest. Investment is necessary for any middle aged man to grow further whereas saving is necessary to retain that development.

I think investment in bitcoin can fulfill both the condition, because investment in bitcoin itself is a good saving. You do not need to invest your money anywhere, just purchase bitcoin and then hold it for a long time.

Hope that after some years bitcoin will give you a good profit. As we can see that the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing, because still people are investing in bitcoin for making money.

saving your bitcoin is like investing too so much better if you save the half of your money and invest the other half so you can make a profit on both. but i prefer my investment as a big assets such as land or house or maybe a business you can gain a stable profit from it in the near future than investin it on something you dont sure about if you're really gain a money from it.

That's a promise in the future but no assurance we can have that. I do not oppose that it's a great investment but we have to be careful with the amount we put, always ensure to limit your investment as it's a very risky kind of investment that you might regret if the outcome will not in favor of us. Saving is good but up to the amount we need for unexpected expenses and the remaining should be use for investment at your interest.

So you are saying that the price by January 2017 of after such period will decrease? I don't follow that, I have my way of speculation like what I successfully did this year, I believe that if we buy now we can still enjoy selling with  a profit since bitcoin has no signs of going down, it's a little stable but actions are mostly going up.

I hear some people who have the same perspectives as yours on which they commonly hold off their bitcoin to make profits and its true bitcoin could also serve as an investment even if you are just holding it and as you said it would not take efforts to earn but some would really tend to invest it in order to see profits for a short period of time. Saving is a good thing same goes with investment.

Yeah you're right it's better to have it both ways and when you save bitcoins through wallets it already acts as an investment as your money is not really stagnant but is rising as well with bitcoin's movement. I saved a couple of bitcoins in my wallet a few months ago and just left it there and now the value of my savings are up because of bitcoin's rise.

Yeah, it is right, because only hold the money, it is not a way to earn money and gain profit, So better is that choose that way, where you can earn profit from your money, And now a days, too many ways are here, where we can invest our money and earn from it, If we are talking about bitcoin, So bitcoin is best way to invest wise and also saving wise, But about bitcoin my opinion will be different, i choose only save the bitcoin, and wait for price increasing.

Every savings is not kind of investment but it depend on where you're saving and how. if you're saving your money in your piggy bank then you will not going to get any daily interests out of it but if you're saving on a real bank you will get it.

lol me either although I am not actually celebrating the Christmas Day but I need save money for that upcoming event because I really want to buy some stuffs that I need such as wine or brandy and some foods in order to relax myself away from other people on that day also I need to prepare for the new year's day because it will be very riotous I need to find some place that I will never be disturbed speaking of investments lol i have no comment for that

Both are good actually, saving money and invest money. It's depend on the situation and your priority. For me, i choose both, i save some money and also i invest some of my money. So my idle money can growth and make profit.
