Yeah you're kind of correct in this. If you've saved bitcoins early part last year in your wallet, you money would've more than doubled by the years end, compared to the very minimal growth when you've placed it in a bank. That's why its the same as investing if not better. Though of course, there's the risk of the price plunging but if you've observed btc's price movement, holding on to it and waiting for the right timing could very well give good earnings as investments

but to me i think that if you are going to save your money for a long time , then the value of your money is decreasing from time to time. and if you have invested your money for long term, so hope that after long time the value of your investment will be more high than its original price, therefore i will suggest you that long term investment is more better than trading.

I agree with you that investment is better but still someone have to keep some money with them for emergencies as I have saw some people who invest in some bigger schemes much of their money but when an emergency come to them then they do not find any money to solve that issue. Yes I agree many people do have very less capital to start of trading or investments, let alone do some savings based on that. For them they should start to generate cash in order to start the market first.

The primary aim should be to save some for them before reinvesting the money. Every successful transaction they should put in at least 10% into savings rest into reinvestment.
