Holding bitcoins = investment ( Long term )
Investing in altcoin = More money ( short term and long term ) . It completely depends on you , whether you want to make quick money or you can wait , how much money you are expecting , if 2% or 3% , then pumping and dumping of altcoins can easily make you money . If you are looking for huge returns , then you must hold your btc and wait for the price to increase .
Exactly and if you want to earn good money from bitcoin then you should hold it at least for next 5 to 10 years and that will really give you best returns on your investments.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
I think it´s better to save money then investing it of course there are many people with allot of money they don´t have to save anything. But be sure you will have enough till the end so investing on that point is not wrong but, not everyone has the same amount of cash. I disagree about that because the fact is that investing is now good, its the right time to do it in my opinion. The bitcoin has a good future a head and there is a huge chance that the bitcoin is gonna rise in its price.

Saving money is good but it will not help you in long run, you also need to keep inflation rate in mind, investment will allow you to grow your money in future.
you are wrong friend, saving money can help you in long time, in future your son have more needs, like collage, etc. so you can use your saving money to pay it. Have you heard of inflation rate? Definitely it is not something that will help you pay your child college and it is something that will make the value of your money keep on decreasing every year. The money that you saved will be lower and lower in value every single year and at one point it will be useless so you thinking your investment will survive in inflation rate ? not all investment will be succes you think bitcoin "always" give ou interest perday ? permonth ? peryear ? be reasonable sometimes bitcoin price will be fail, look at bitcoin chart in 2013-2014 I don't believe in inflation rate by investing in bitcoin, as you can see now, the price is very stable and it would rise nearing the halving. It was already predicted my many here that it will happen. Let's forget out the past of bitcoins and focus on the future. if bitcoin price stable at this time, and slowly rise you will thinking bitcoin "always rise" ? in fact you know bitcoin rising $500 in some month ago and down to under $400 , so i think the bitcoin rate should be fail after or before rise better to save your money at fiat and bitcoin. not only invest at bitcoin. and never thinking saving money not help you.

If you have the capacity, now is always a right time to invest. The only thing that can go wrong is where you are investing. If you invest in a right instrument, now is alway right. If you go long term, you minimizes your risk and maximizes profit. And I believe bitcoin is a good investment vehicle.

I can confirm it with my experience, I'm always either late to invest in something or ignorant. I don't know when is the right time to invest. That is the main problem. I see the some alts are going crazy, when I invest in it, it surprisingly starts dropping as everyone else are dumping. It's really hard to know when is that right time. lol

I will just add and keep in mind also that even you have a capacity or can afford the capital you will be used to start that "investment" make sure that your chosen investment is really the one you think that has "chance" to make your money grow and don't just put on in that kind of investment just because others make profit from that. There are different investments and you are the one who can choose what is right and can play along the risk associated with that kind of investment.

If project that you're investing guarantees a sure profits, then yeah. It's better to invest there, but does it give you any guarantee that it will increase or even multiply? There are chances for it to drop and has no value and endup lose everything you had and get broke. It's better you do both, saving some as a back up and investing some to multiply.

I dont know if you can life enough by using a smaller amount of cash each week it´s better to save your money instead of investing it. But if you have allot of money and only doing stupid things with it you will have no regret of investing it in something. I think people will not be able to survive when the only have a little money. so it would be nice if you could do on your own money growth and investing. most people get rich doing it. so it would be better if you do it too. become rich coming from a real movement. not just shut up and save

Investing is always better than just leaving your money sleeping in a savings account where you get around 2-3% interest per year. The only benefit of this is that you won't have to take any risks as your money is secured to a certain amount. With investing you may end up with some losses if things don't go to plan.

Hell yeah if it can be trusted. But there are doubts in peoples heart that is why they save some for safety. In case something bad happen you got something to hold on to.

From where I come from, you'd be lucky to find a bank that gives 2-3% interest per year on a savings account. Most offer just about 1%. Talk about your money being eroded by inflation. That is why I make it a point to invest in instruments that yield better than the inflation rate.

There are bank really that gives up to 3% of interest per annum but that is mostly for time deposits where they will restrict any withdrawals up to a certain period. For me, I am not buying that kind of thing because I found most profitable investing in bitcoins.

Better to invest once you have enough savings to serve as buffer if and when an emergency arises. Putting all your money in investments might not be good if one day you need to withdraw and you are still not earning from profits from it. The time it takes to withdraw money from mutual funds / stocks usually takes 3 banking days.

Hell yeah if it can be trusted. But there are doubts in peoples heart that is why they save some for safety. In case something bad happen you got something to hold on to. I have still doubt about investing since many scams are turning out of being trusted by many people but those are only dummy people created by that one person, and the risk is always there in investing. That's why I would say, investing is good, but is you are going to save more that is better.

That is a good advise, that before investing you must have a good record of your savings. And if you think your savings is enough, then you could startup a business and after that if the return of investment is fast. You could start another investment again. Investing is risky because you need to manage it well in order for that to be successful, I am even also planning of investing in real business but I don't have that required capital yet, as of now while I am an employee I set aside some portion of my salary for future investment. I also plan to invest in bitcoin as it is affordable to invest and it can also be a form of savings.

You can choose to buy yourself $50-$100 worth of Bitcoin each month. That will allow you to increase your coins each month.
