but i totally agree with with a prophet of God who over 2000 years ago said that the earth is a circle or sphere (Isaiah 40:22) and am convinced many people share my opinion

For almost 100 years, now, airplanes have flown high enough that fliers can see the curvature of the earth. How can we tell that the earth is curved, and that it is not some aberration caused by the shape of the windows? Easy. The earth is stationary only at the poles. But only at the equator is it spinning at the slow rate of near 1000 mph. Why do I say slow? Because it takes 24 hours for the earth to make a whole turn.

Place a basketball on a table. Then turn it a complete turn in 24 hours. Pretty slow spinning, huh? You have a lot to learn.
