I just thought I'd drop by and see what Failcoin was all about. That's definately a nice looking wallet you've got there. I can tell that you've been putting in a lot of work.

I wish you the best of luck and I'll be seeing you around the forum spartak_t.

Hey,

Thank you for the kind words! Main FAIL goal is to be used in YouTube and social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
Imagine if you see funny FAIL video on YouTube and the owner posted his FAIL address for tips. It can be used for contests, donations, for fun or along with both "Like" and "Dislike" buttons. Smiley
We are going to try to work with some of the biggest YouTube channels.

P.S. My real name is Spartak (Spartacus) so no need using _t at the end. Smiley

Thanks again!

Cheers,
Spartak

That's not a bad idea. I know that my wife and I both enjoy watching videos like that on YouTube.

By the way, I've been following your posts on the forum and I had no idea that you weren't from the U.S. or the U.K. Your English is excellent.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

That's actually a brilliant idea and that is why I (and people involved in this project) are avid supporters of FAILCoin. We are talking about decentralized way for fun and even donations. Everything is only one transaction away.
The other brilliant idea is that we are going to be developed as FAILCommunity with its own cryptocurrency, not like just another coin.
I've said number of times that if Bitcoin is the movie industry, then FAIL can be its comedy genre and even more. Too bad that bigger exchanges (and many other people) probably think we are not serious about this, but I can say we are followed by few famous people (such as Riddick Bowe, Ali Spagnola, Brian Brushwood, Ben Landis, Brian Hazard and Nate Maingard) who have nothing to do with cryptocurrencies.

I hope that our "cryptoface" will look better in near future and that people will understand and accept that we are deadly serious and most of all - honest.

I am trying to be helpful and active in the forum, because my real job are cryptocurrencies and I am their passionate supporter. My company is called Cryptoventures LTD and it is VAT registered here in Bulgaria (yeah... I'm not from USA or UK Smiley). Don't think that my english is excellent though, but thank you. Smiley

I'm glad that one more person is interested in FAIL. Feel free to make suggestions and everything.

Cheers,
Spartak

Hey,

I have some personal things to take care of and that is why we (we are working as a team) will not be active in the next 3-5 days. FAIL team keeps constant contacts between project leaders through e-mail and Facebook so if there is anything urgent - it will be fixed asap or at least everybody will know about it. Next week I am going back with even more passion involved in FAILCoin's development.

P.S. I will be more specific for those who might wonder what kind of things I must take care of or if this is just some bs. On 13 June (4 days from now) it will be 1 year since my father died. Our custom is to leave the grave almost intact until one year pass. Now I have to travel to my home town and deal with casing-in the grave, coat it with marble, tombstone etc. so to be ready for 13 June when our family will gather with priest and everything. I'm not sure if you all need to know such specific details, but personally I have no problem with that. We are all human beings.

Regards,
Spartak

No worries. You still have chance to grab some FailCoin while it is cheap. I grabbed a 'few' FailCoin hopping the value will rise.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Hey FAILers,

Our main dev pnoch is going back to Thailand (he spent some time in China) and it will take few more days until we continue to work on our new wallet, which hopefully will be ready this month.
As you can see in the screenshot I posted about 10 days ago, we are working on YouTube and Twitter integration. You can also see that there are few more Tabs (such as Fun, Contests etc..)...
The idea is FAILCoin wallet to pick up Twitter hashtags (#FAILfun, #FAILcontests, #FAILdonations etc.)... Whitepaper is going to be released soon after we make sure that the new wallet is working and we will explain the main purpose (and use) of FAIL, but you probably get the idea. FAIL can work with both like and dislike buttons on YouTube for example. We will then push up for bigger exchanges and we will try to contact big YouTube channels and Twitter promoters.

Stay FAILed, and trust us that we will deliver!

P.S. Bitcoin and Litecoin are looking GREAT! Good old coins are back!!!
P.S.2. Stop supporting obvious pump and dump schemes. It's time to take cryptocurrencies on the next level where hundreds of thousands or even millions of people are going to use them!

Cheers,
Spartak

I can send you 50 FailCoin if you want. I miss the exchange too. Only manage to exchange 123 Fail - old fail in exchange. The rest are burned.. :/.

^^ thank you, but I am not trying to get someone elses coins for free Smiley I am trying to figure out who thought that two weeks is enough notice...

i would like to see what would happen if someone gave bitcoin users only two weeks to change over to new chain and if they didnt do it within that frame, their coins would be burned.

I dare you to think about it.

Now, after you thought about it, do you think it was a good move to do it to Failers?
I cant follow all of the 200 coins in my portfolio to keep up with the changes with every single one of them, and I would appreciate the ability to move my old coins to the new chain without a deadline.

This can be achieved if you maintain two chains until all users migrate to the new chane and have dates of the blocks be the confirming factor whether the coins are valid or not. Now you gave two weeks to users and burned the rest who didnt notice this change in time.

you burned the coins that other people own to raise the price of the new version coins a little.
good for the coin, im not denying it, but you should facilitate users that didnt migrate in time.
Not cool.

You're welcome. Cheer. What's important now is you get some Fail coin and hold them. The developers might be making a newsletter features after seeing your post. They said they already posted on Twitter, Facebook and whatever social media they can before the swap - and it is true. So I suggest you to make a 'spam-follow'* Twitter account and follow those 200 cryptocurrency you are holding. If there is something important, it will definitely catch your eye.

So you dont need to use your personal account to follow over 200 cryptocurrency Twitter. It give a bad reputation to your person account.

Hey bittick,

We started talking about the swap in December 2014. Several people contacted me after the swap was over and I did exchanged their coins. I gave them like $300 worth of coins for free just to make them happy. I didn't fully reimbursed only one guy who had billions of old FAIL (he shoulda receive something like 300-400k new coins), but I did send him 10% of them. None of those people proved that he own FAIL - they just said and I have send them without asking for anything. I can understand your frustration, but I must say that you are not right. FAIL needed the swap, because we needed BTC pair. We are not DOGE.

You had good amount of old FAIL and it is your obligation to follow and protect your investment. Our obligation is to support FAIL and keep it running and we made 10s of warnings here, on Cryptocointalk, Twitter and Facebook.

Cheers,
Spartak

Thank you  for your reply.
Yes I have seen talks in december 2014, when nothing was clear or certain.
My issue with this action you executed is that the timeframe was 2 weeks!!!

Just because you gave coins to people without confirming ownership of old coins tells me that the cross-over was not handled professionally at all.
I do agree with the fact that Fail needed the reduction and swap over.
My point is that you must facilitate the exchange of old fail into new fail once a person proves ownership of old chain coins.

If you did this to any other coin with higher value, you will be sued. no question about it.

I had something of value, now it is worthless, due to the fact that the blockchain  migrated.

Now I can confirm ownership of my coins, but wont get anything, because you gave away the funds meant for that to people who came to you and just asked for coins.

How is this me being wrong? I just dont get your logics

1. Nothing was certain, because in the past we made several promises, which we didn't kept, because we were scammed. We just want people to believe in us and that is why we are not promising anything except that we are going to deliver and we are going to support FAIL no matter what.
2. Timeframe was more than enough. You can click notify button here and receive e-mail when someone is posting for example. People had number of possibilities to follow the swap process.
3. We can't discuss professionality here, because there is no such concept with cryptocurrencies in general. What we do and we are going to continue to do is to be straight and honest with people. The swap was handled solely from EmpoEx and even I didn't know how much coins were swapped before the denomination was over. It was pretty simple - you deposit your old FAIL and EmpoEx fills your balance with new one once the deadline is reached. Personally I have exchanged coins for several people after the deadline for swap and I did it, because I love FAIL and I'm willing to do everything for the people who are interested in it. You can't blame me or sue me for giving coins for free.
4. You said that you had 272M coins, which should be 68000 new FAIL. PM me with you new FAIL address and I will send you those 68k.

Cheers,
Spartak

Dear FAILers,

Our main dev has some personal issues in China (nothing in common with health etc..) and that is why we are still on hold, but everything should be fine in near future (it will be soon, but I want to avoid using that word). I am posting this, because we remained silent for few days and I wanted to assure you that we are still here. Do not worry about anything!
