Hey guys, I'm still lurking.... Looks as if there isn't enough motivated community support to bring this out of the crap hole. I could do alot here, but won't work for free, and tech isn't free either. I will stand along the sidelines and wait this one out either way. Looks dead, and needs a takeover...but I can't name one dev out there that revives coins for fun. I'm always a message away, MasterTrader777 www.ToshiDesk.com/betaCan you update us on whether or not you'll accept 8bit? and if so how much will it 8bit it will cost for your service. Seems like a better option as it gives you more incentive to work on the coin because more work you put in, the higher the price of 8bit goes and therefore the more you get paid.

Lately only threads of pretty much dead coins and ICO's are bumped. You guys will reduce the risk to be bagholders If you stop buying/pricing promises. This discussion is really pointless.

+1 We are alive and kicking. Always hope....Masternodes are going up again. We just need some donations for a new dev. Preferably one that would take 8 bit. Who said anything about a price promise. If a dev. comes and takes over price should go up, but if not ..... Is it risky investment (yes) I would say it is a gamble. So risk what you can lose.

The only way to hire new dev for 8bit is to pay with BTC, which means more loss for you. He will be most likely involved in other projects, which also means he will not be that dedicated to 8bit. When someone leaves his "baby" - game over. Period. There is no good idea behind 8bit other than pure speculation. It will be totally dead even if someone takes it over. Don't fool yourself.

I think most of these coins are pure speculation....No fooling .... And i was told the same thing with summer coin and it turned into Navajo...now look where that got me.... but your right, its rare...

Scam coins / Scam devs I hope they are proud of themselves. Altcoins were barely surviving as it was. Now they are dead. Good long term holds, IMO: 1. Blakecoin 2. Supernet 3. Dash 4. Bitcredit 5. XAI 6. Bitcoin Play it safe guys. Trying to 10x isn't worth getting rekt.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't accept 8bit to revive this coin. It needs alot of real hours put in, and me and my team would need to be paid. There are alot of bagholders in this coin. The risk for me and my dev team to take 8bit is too high, and as you say the incentive it there to take 8bit instead of btc....I would have to disagree, as I said development isn't free. If I had to dump 8bit to get my team and I paid, we would only be creating more downward sell pressure. 5-10 BTC is what it would take to make a full revive happen.

What if we just supported this coin by actively posting on this thread as a fun community, and we don't worry right now about forks and new road maps and development?
It already has a cool and appealing brand (I love 8 bit games and graphic design), and the masternodes just work. There are a ton of new projects now that require 25,000 coins to create a masternode, and I think the 112 8BIT requirement is a very unique feature of this coin, making masternodes available to the average or new crypto user.
I'm not saying that 8BIT couldn't benefit from a new, dedicated dev (It would); I am just saying that barring that, maybe if it just has an active community (constantly bumped thread, lots of reddit and Twitter posts, people posting memes and 8bit game and retro music links, etc.), we could keep this thing alive.

Would you try to revive your grandmother if she died? Lay it to rest guys. There are 100's of rekt scamcoins and I'm sure a lot of us are bag holding at least a few of them. This coin is rekt. There is literally nothing that makes our special. No need for any more boo hooing. Wipe your tears and move on.

No tears here, and not a single boo hoo . I don't invest more than I can lose, and 8BIT is by far one of my smaller investments. Nonetheless, my masternodes are producing 8BIT every day, and I can still sell them for over 13K; for some reason, a market still exists for this coin. If you're invested in the coin, why not let it ride for a while before loudly proclaiming it dead? I am just throwing out the idea that this coin can maybe survive, and perhaps even thrive a little bit, until a dev does step up (and maybe even if one never does). I've been using the same wallet for years for some coins, and they are doing OK even without new roadmaps and grandiose plans announced every other day.

I'm all for it, as I said I will stand by the sidelines and see if the dev comes back. I have the number 2 Wallet on Bittrex, I'm not going anywhere.
