Trading to oneself is an option, but it doesn't lead to anything in the long run... The Bittrex wallet is disabled, so even if someone would like to deposit coins and dump them to create volume, he would not be able to do that. Chain should be fixed first of all.

I can understand Bittrex not being able to sync, and it is practically impossible now...
The available bootstrap does not help, I have tried to use that, but wallet stopped loading blocks somewhere around block 300,000. The bootstrap.dat was automatically renamed to bootstrap.dat.old as if it was fully loaded. But it was not...  

We need a clean "bootstrap.dat", or  at least the ".8bit" directory zipped and made downloadable instead (probably without wallet.dat though )
Is there anyone on a right chain now..? I suppose the "right" chain is the chain with biggest number of masternodes.. All my wallets on different machines went out of sync at different times, and they do not see the masternodes at all. Are those masternodes still active on *any* chain?

Blocks should start moving within next 2-3 days, otherwise we will use this block height as the end of this blockchain and start a new one with balances recovered.
Block explorer is synced to this block so you can check your balances.
If you run any 8BIT related service (exchange, etc.) and due to this fork madness you lose any coins, please PM me - we will try to recover them from community fund. I am in touch with Bittrex with this case too.

I see that doing a bootstrap load on empty wallet, then importing wallet is faster than doing a bootstrap sync on existing wallet, especially one with lot of transactions (i.e from staking).

Definitely. I always do that way. It also makes the resulting wallet.dat smaller in size.

Any special instructions? 1. Download the bootstrap 2. install 3. let it run, 4.  when it finishes, import  my wallet dat.  What should be in the Conf. file Just want to be clear.

There's no such thing as server. This is p2p network. Your node is still syncing, everything is fine. I will provide the nodes list soon.
