Folks, DO NOT USE
Code:
connect=node00.8-bit.ga
connect=node01.8-bit.ga
connect=node02.8-bit.ga
connect=node03.8-bit.ga
connect=node04.8-bit.ga
connect=node05.8-bit.ga

JUST YET!!

Those nodes might be on the wrong (short) chain!!

Use these:
Code:
        addnode=91.121.79.208
        addnode=104.207.131.249
        addnode=184.164.129.202
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=144.76.115.195
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=197.231.221.211
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=85.10.199.167
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=5.141.198.37
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=207.138.200.254
        addnode=91.10.24.229
        addnode=85.10.199.167
        addnode=46.101.15.38
        addnode=136.243.147.46
        addnode=98.14.211.131
        addnode=136.243.147.46

Those are from my masternode, which is using the long chain.

Or better, wait for the Dev (8-bit-party) to comment and tell what is correct to do now!

Also, DEV please clarify the rumour of the Masternode Requirement going up from 112 to 1024 coins. Is this true? Will existing masternodes owners be affected?

I am not in the telegram group. Is the Dev there?

Unless he did confirm the official nodes (the first set of nodes above) is already ready to use, it is safer to use the second set (which are taken from actual working node on the long chain).

I am not the DEV, but here is the correct answer:

the masternode collateral now is 112 coins. This may be changed in the future, but there are no specific plans/dates yet.

Can anyone confirm that it is ok to send coins from Cryptopia?

With the blokchain that he has shared I have been able to receive the cryptopia coins of July 15, which confirms that their nodes are in the cryptopia chain, with the first group of nodes synonymous but did not receive my coins.

I mean I have confirmed that the second group of nodes are in the correct chain osea the same as cryptopia

Drays, you can share the tutorial how to configure several masternodes in windows?
Because I do not have very clear that it should be written in the file.bat

i want to buy some 8bit, love the demoscene.
but with the current two chain desaster i guess i have to wait for now.
that is actualy a big problem of many altcoins and it wont get less.
more people will read up on it and maybe try themself.
im talking about the notorious double spend attack.
i guess that is the reason why there are two chains now.
buy enough hash, spend your coins, publish new chain without the record. spend your coins again.
its easier said than done but most altcoins without enough hashpower are vulnuable to it.
maybe i got a little confused and its only for PoW and not PoS

Nice movement here, really nice.

Anyway, as stated, Bittrex is on shorter chain, Cryptopia is PROBABLY on longest one. I am saying PROBABLY because they no longer display block height and therefore we do not know where they are anymore  Cool

Once I will make sure that Cryptopia is on the right chain I will:

1) update seed nodes
2) refresh block explorer
3) send parsed chain to the website & make sure Bittrex got it

Props for drays for sharing the longest chain files.

There was not attack whatsoever, neither this time nor ever before.
