I missed this one, is it different x11, or I need a special miner?

What the hell is going on here? People leaving because someone has an avatar they don't like? I mean seriously?
It's just a useless tiny image. Who cares if it represents a bunch of twisted shitheads? You really going to give that small pic so much respect that you rather forget about Spreadcoin?

I'm sorry but that's fucking stupid. Grow a pair and Ignore the guy.

Georgem, ffs, can I please have an update?  You're not presenting this in front of a bunch of nobel laureates.  It's should be a brief statement of integrity on why testnet has been delayed over a month (when it was promised at the end of January) simply mentioning the technological roadblocks you've faced impeding your ability to bring this to fruition.  You obviously have had time to respond to less substantive matters recently, so what the fuck?  This is the complete polar opposite of decentralization!  No one wants to wait several weeks so you can relay a 4k video of what you can essentially say right fucking now.

I expect that I need another 50 hours or so to finish everything and put all the loose ends together before we can start testing it.

This could mean best case, that I will be ready in 1 week, or worst case by the end of january.

Is end of January still looking feasible?

Pretty much.  Smiley

I was able to do about 50% of what's still needed.
If might not be able to finish the other half in the next week (collisions with dayjob), so it might slide a few days into first week of february.

I'll probably create an explanatory video about current state of overlay network and how the blockexplorer behaves, so you better know what the problems are I'm working on.

I owe you that much.

It's just a useless TINY image.... I'm STUPID?Huh WTF
Oh, I did grow a pair and finally said something about the message it sends, which isn't in line with the ethos of this community. No one wants to be associated or defending that stuff, including you. It's BAD for what SPR stands for.

"Ignore the guy" why? I have a fair point as I have invested.

@bathrobehero

No one is leaving the boat. It's just un coup de théâtre to get cheap coins. You're a Hero Member, you have to know that. Spreadcoin will be soon in the top 10.

Is he a part of the Spreadcoin dev team? Not as far as I know which means he has no effect on what SPR stands for.
You're losing your shit over a stupid flag and doing so you're giving it power. It's basically the equivalent of feeding the trolls but more childish imo.

No, just what that flag stands for.

"You're losing your shit over a stupid flag and doing so you're giving it power."
It's not a stupid flag, it has meaning. Ask those who have REALLY suffered from this ideology, see if they think it's just a "Stupid flag". And belittling me because I care, telling me to stop talking about it, goes against the ETHOS of SPR decentralised.

Exactly.

Roadmap update?

Nothing changes.
This roadmap is supposed to be a rather general overview over the important breakthroughs we have in front of us.

It doesn't go into details though. That's what my screencast will be here for.

Patience please, too many things to get in order...

Too ignore a "Stupid flag" is to give it power. To loose one's "Shit" as you put it, is to stand up to it.
Or, you could just cower. Ask the Jews what they'd do differently this time, about a "Stupid flag"?
And as for a senior Dev to agree with name calling of an investor is shameful and unprofessional. PERIOD!

Image is EVERYTHING, and to be seen to do nothing about a "Stupid flag" that holds so much terror. Shame on you all.
I would expect the security services have already checked us all out....... Because of that "Stupid flag". Thanks.

Are we talking sovereign state flag or terrorist flag? This flag/banner is a calling, it doesn't represent a nations people, it represents an extreme ideology. Big difference. I don't cut off heads/rape/kill gays etc etc for my flag.

WRONG IMAGE, NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS, AND THE DEV'S SHOULD CARE. WE SHOULD ALL CARE.

Just remove the avatar, I don't care what you all believe in. It's upto you. But for the image of SPR keep your ideologies out of public view.

I don't see why that is a problem  Huh

Has anyone ever checked georgem's history on bitcointalk ? This guy's account was opened almost 3 years ago and he never once spoke about code. The last commit on the "spreadcoin" project on github happened 1 year and 2 months ago.

Are you bagholders this dumb ?

sigh, did you confuse the old github from the previous dev with our current github?

The current one is here: https://github.com/spreadcoin/spreadcoin

I'm sorry!

Should've checked the other github account. 1 commit on a readme file since September 2015. Impressive!

I also like the photoshop work on the "Horny Hamster" wallet (block explorer+service nodes). The only problem is that, in the "recent events" tab, the text is lower by 1px in comparison with the rest of the tabs. Looks like an error on your PS editing, but i hope that you will prove me wrong and release the working software. (doubt it)

Anyways, at least you've tried. Now it's time to fade away into obscurity.

Sorry, chaps.

I've really tried. The general view is that free speech trumps our project's rights to exist.

I've found out that this ISIS flag is illegal in Germany and Israel, but that doesn't count, apparently.

I'm opening a self-moderated, unless Georgem opens one first.

I'd don't mind trolls. But this ISIS stuff is nothing to do with the project and we can't deal with it. 'Just ignore him is the standard response'. We've tried that. It doesn't work.

The only rule for the self-moderated thread is no 'ISIS cunts'. I spent over a year brushing off trolls in the darkcoin thread. This ISIS stuff is a step too far for me.

Is this goal : decentralize everything ?

I've talked in Ethereum thread many times ; look at the Ether price now. Wink

You're still not sorry enough.  Grin

Download the most recent wallet (the one I developed) and you can see the 1px lower "recent events" tab (whatever that means) live in front of your eyes!

You might want to check the in-wallet vanity-gen while you are at it.
