Just putting out there:
What's the appetite to raise some donations for a couple of bitcoin devs for a month or two to flesh out some details for DSDN and how that can be picked up by SPR devs, including some code outlines from the specifications i am working on?
Once I know the level of interest I'll approach two in particular. I don't want to distract Georgem at this point and some related work has already been done by others.
I'm up for $3k.
PM if you don't want to post.

Given a bit more information on what you're attempting to achieve / what you foresee the benefits being I will consider donating.

Buying some shit? No. Buying some Bitcoin developers time to create some code outlines and specifications for something to speed up block propagation times, especially as blockchains ( plural on purpose) grow. One of the weaknesses of decentralized Blockchains and blockchain based services is the internet, so we build broadband for blockchains (DSDN) If you don't want to donate, no problem. Or, spend your money on moar SPR.

Where's Georgem in all this? Haven't seen him post in a while now. Unless he's super busy coding things? Anyone can propose something and create a pull request. This is what I am doing.

Forum is pretty dead. There's not much to do but twiddle our thumbs, buy SPR, and support Georgem as he mugs through coding.
Edit: And if you're coins101 write some awesome whitepapers.

I PM'ed georgem yesterday. I asked him if he would take a donation in something else than BTC/SPR. He answered that he is indeed very busy coding, and that the next update will be in the form of a video. Looks like some sort of orgasm is about to happen. -sf-

damn, if i applied myself back in my youth instead of of doing stupid things that make your brain feel good while playing insanely loud ear damaging music (well at least it was original and not some cheesey Journy cover or some such trash) ...maybe...just maybe (very big maybe) i could be coding this puppy. unfortunatly my programming skills ended in the late 90's, compiling java code ( self taught from books like java for dummies on win 95)that resulted in output like "hello assholes!" or programming a radio shack calculator to output prime numbers which promptly siezed up around 97 (yeah thats a prime # btw). At least i can brag that my company still uses the machine tool G code macros i wrote like 15 years ago. Now im just an aging fuddy duddy cnc programmer/operator crypto fanatic growing tomatoes in the basement who drinks too much.

Java is also my favourite language. Ok, lol, it's the only language I know how to properly use. Cheer up, I can feel that good times are coming. -sf-

Been making a living off Java apps for several years now.

I have used java to create my own forex trading bots. But this was a few years ago, last time in 2013 iirc. I don't do any forex trading anymore now that I am into "bitcoin and friends". In my free time I'm trying to wrap my head around android programming with java. Shit for penetration testing.
It depends on what library you are using to do the penetration testing. Java itself is awesome. -sf-

I'd like to do a little bit more than that. I noticed that spreadcoin doesn't have an android wallet? I found this thread in the forum though: http://spreadcointalk.org/index.php?topic=102.0But there is no source code, just a dead download link. I'll see if I can manage to put an android wallet together. -sf-

I love all the fresh 'maters that come out in August. Lots of sauce, tomato juice, and soups. There's gotta be something very satisfying about growing your own stuff and I want to do it when I have some property. I may have to look into that basement set up as soon as I have more time when I'm living off Service Nodes.

My technical skills are pretty frail non-existent compared to some of the geniuses around here. Edit: I'm really envious of your wallet address.

Try to grow the smaller more valuable and rare fruits and vegetables. Who knows one day there might be a bitcoin "farmers" market xP
