jeje china is like a paradise BTC world compare to other countrys.

here we  have only some ATM, but only few of them, i hope with time there will be more things related to out lovely BTC Wink

now there is only few people that know something about it, i really think this is our main problem here, the information related to the BTC.

IMHO #1.b of suspects, Hal Finney is/was S.N.

I once told my Economics teacher about bitcoin and she ended up asking me whether it is a scam or not. I told her about the coin's price volatility, the ATH that happened on November 2013, and the bad stuff about it among others. She couldn't comprehend to the technical stuff about bitcoins so I went on explaining it the noob way. Different stuffs, concepts, pros and cons about bitcoins and in the end, she'll end up asking if it's a scam or not. Sad Maybe people aren't ready yet on accepting new things and concepts that are against the norms of this society.

I think there are too much easy money out there like ponzi and everthing that come out suddenly or if they havent heard before they will relate it to ponzi so nowadays people is lack of believing things like bitcoin too. I ever asked my friend about this bitcoin since he never heard it before and he started to say this scam and everytime I play or post something he will force me not to play this again. So I think we need to change their mindset about what bitcoin is

I live in Canada, and aside from a couple friends, I don't know anyone that knows about or cares about bitcoin.  I also haven't seen any retailers accepting it.

I had friends join because of tv, it was to do with the dark-net sites to buy your goodies from lol They was hooked right there. I know a few in real life who use it but they have slowed down this year. Bitcoin will become kind of famous one day at the moment it is just chilling once we see rapid growth then news will report how great it is on the rise, this is what they do. Not sure we will have bitcoin for a life time however much I would like it, something new will be on the scene within that time period but it will have hell of a run,

Over 50% of all IT people in Denmark have heard the word Bitcoin before, but almost none use it.

But we do have the Danish company www.coinify.com that exchanges BTC and Fiat.

That is encouraging news! Where do you live?

Although my country is sometimes regarded as the Bitcoin capital of Asia, the acceptance is quite low here. And it is not growing as well. There are also fewer options for using Bitcoin as a payment option in retail and online shopping.
