in my country i see a couple of shops that accept bitcoin. there was a coffee house i saw downtown last week that i paid with bitcoin at, it was extremely fast and smooth. i think this year alot of merchants realized and understood the true potential of bitcoin and gave it a shot.
lets just hope next year, the amount of merchants supporting bitcoins increase

I would imagine it will steadily increase... but it honestly just depends on what area of your country or which country, for that matter, you live in.  I know in the U.S. there are more and more bitcoin ATM's being set up and local businesses that are adopting bitcoin as a valid payment, but in the state I'm in has yet to see it's first BTCATM, and only one or two stores accept bitcoin at the moment... and those are jewelry businesses, not your typical coffee shops..

yeah thats not possible that coffee shop accept bitcoin as a payment, but they need free internet access to their coffee shop so that customer are able to send their coins.

Most of the coffee stores already have free wifi for their customer so i think internet shouldn't be a problem here

The reason they don't accept bitcoin is either
A. They don't know bitcoin exist
Or
B. They don't care about it Roll Eyes
And it is our task as a community to convince them to use bitcoin and tell them the importance of using bitcoin Smiley

They care for every aspects but bitcoin development is a must here depends on the country.

If indian government announced bitcoin as a legal currency, India might be getting worse then now by corruption. Already we're facing a lot of problems because of black money.

I am from Spain and currently living in Colombia.

In Spain I only know about two friends that really know Bitcoin and use it, however everyone I ask has at least heard about them and say "it is risky". Only know about a guy in Colombia who have heard of it, no users that I know.

Bitcoin to fiat exchanges only need government approval or need license kind of things. But no one can stop using bitcoin for a service or a product. So, legal issues will be vanished away in near future. Bitcoin can be used in any country regardless of any government policies as long as not touching with fiats.

but bitcoin is only depending on fiat money, and how you will use your coins if you can't exchange it into your own currency? don't say that you will bought stuffs or items in some site that accepted bitcoin, because company that accept bitcoin can't exchange their coins into fiat money too.

I disagree ! With blockchain foresincs... you have have a better chance to trace the money. With black money flowing in cash there is now way to trace it. Its better to legalize it rather than ignore it  or ban it... in which case things will go underground, which is more dangerous.

Didn't know that bitcoin is even illegal in some country  Undecided Good thing you can still manage to earn and turn your BTC into cash despite of the laws on your country regarding to legality of bitcoin. May I know from what country you're from?

Anyways bitcoin popularity here on our country is growing so I can see a big future with bitcoin here despite of the warnings gave by our central bank and some medias

Damn are they. They just looking in the negative side of bitcoin. Didn't they know it just like fiat currency that faces negative traits too. They just have to make to make some deep talks about that and cover those negative that will happen or likely, give bitcoin the same security measures like our fiat currency.

But the good thing here, Bitcoin has no tax so I think it's on the side it's better that our Central Bank didn't prioritizing bitcoin.
