Bitcoin is not to much emerged in my country which is india... But well i am trying to spread it as to give a secured and private environment of money transactions
ya it is because in india still bitcoin is not legal and they are implementing some laws on user who are using bitcoins, so their is still more time for india to accept bitcoin and cryptocurrency. still the government is in doubt If indian government announced bitcoin as a legal currency, India might be getting worse then now by corruption. Already we're facing a lot of problems because of black money. Well, you are not seeing all the possibilities. Since Bitcoin is has a public ledger, a system for public money could be coded. Like a sidechain for the goverment where everything in seen in public, so none of that money can go anywhere without being traced. Thats what they should do. But of course they will not because corruption is way easier with cash. Of course as long as people can find ways to not pay taxes they will do it, specially when they are poor and need as much money as possible. |

Anyways bitcoin popularity here on our country is growing so I can see a big future with bitcoin here despite of the warnings gave by our central bank and some medias
Damn are they. They just looking in the negative side of bitcoin. Didn't they know it just like fiat currency that faces negative traits too. They just have to make to make some deep talks about that and cover those negative that will happen or likely, give bitcoin the same security measures like our fiat currency. But the good thing here, Bitcoin has no tax so I think it's on the side it's better that our Central Bank didn't prioritizing bitcoin. Yeah indeed man, they can't see the brighter side of bitcoin which can be used as a money remittance alternative with less fees ,smooth and fast transactions, and very convenient. It would be very helpful to a lot of OFWs when sending money to their loved ones without charging a high fee and instantly. I guess banks were kinda afraid to bitcoin replacing them one day  |

Yup, but seeing that most politicians are only in it for the money, sometimes paying taxes is kinda lazy to do since ir ends up only in their pockets. Bitcoin could probably help OFWs to send money without paying much for money transfer services, although it will hurt our GNP so hard if in case all OFWs will use bitcoin for remittances as it will not account for our country's GNP. We're not yet ready for that in a wide scale remittances using bitcoins. |

I think politicians here will love bitcoin if it will be tax'ed I got your point both and Im sick too of that. Our taxes are going to nowhere. My tax per month is around BTC0.1 (as of the currenct exchange of BTC to USD). But hey open our eyes. Not all politicians are corrupt and somehow there are still progress and development I see in our country although not that noticeable. Yes we are mad with our corrupt politicians and we want to get rid of them but if Bitcoin will not be taxed thru remittances, we in middle class up to low class will suffer. This will be the end of Peso and we don't want that to happen because it will take our country to much devastation if all things will cost much. Even we bitcoiners will suffer, electricity , internet bills , transportation etc. Think out of the box. I don't want to see our jeepney fare @ Php20 for first 4Kms. Even owning a car won't help because of high cost of petroleum. Yes still there are more hole to cover. I have a relatives in other country and Bitcoin will truly help us to save taxes but I don't like to gain benefits by only me. We are Pinoys. We must help each other. Those corrupt politicians are our enemies and we don't want to include those small earner here to suffer the fate if Bitcoin will just freely send and receive without counting it to our country's remittance. Hope you got my point.  |

We now have bitcoin ATM'S in some parts of the country and many overseas workers are sending money through bitcoin as exchanges pops up. Merchants and some restaurants now accept bitcoin payments.

If I am right, bitcoin ATM here in our country is unfortunately just available in Manila. Anyway, you are right on how bitcoin knowledge goes along with the places that internet has already reached. I don't know anyone personally in my area who does use Bitcoin to do transactions but I do know there is a group in our local forum who are actively discussing Bitcoins. They use to mine back when USB Asics still works  BTC is going well in our country that we can pay bills through bitcoin. |

i am from india, here their is as per my knowledge around 25% of people know about bitcoin out of that i think more than 10% are in bitcoin earning or mining or buying selling field, some days back i came across one person in shop came for xerox of a book when i opened it it was about crypto coin red, details about some company promoting and having office in delhi. so their are user in india but how much they are involved i dont know it.
