FU,CK GAMBLING!!!
I am done with it now, only lost money! Around 200$ that I earned on this forum, all gone to hell!

Regards,
Joust
looks like you learned your lesson the hard way, but be glad that you only lost 200 dollars chasing your greed. also, know that gambling will more then often have you go bust, as people dont know when to stop since there isnt a limit they usually set to stop gambling. unfortunately, there is a limit on how much you can lose, which is what prompts people to finally stop.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

I used to gamble a lot, but when I started losing money I just decided to give up and not do it anymore. It was pretty easy.

I did, though I thought that just calling it a bad job and stopping was better than spending more money to try and get my original losses back. Luckily I gambled small amounts (0.01-0.1) and only lost about 0.1BTC overall, but still counts.

I've always been told that the only people that win when gambling are the bookies (those that run the gambling service), which is in most cases true.

I guess there are many players that losing more than you do and they still try to recover it anyway, just have faith in it, you are too fast to get out from this gambling world. You need some advice or may be some strategy to earn back what you loss. Play slowly to recover your loss and dont be too greedy if I can say

Suggesting people to gamble even more to cover their losts is not a good idea. That's the exact situation in which people become addicted to gambling and/or lose even more of their money.

Everyone wants to 'gamble just a little bit more' to cover the costs. If they succeed, they are likely to continue as they also want 'a little profit for their efforts'. If they loose, the cycle starts over again: they want to gamble just a little more to cover the (more) costs..  That's an addict, and a worse situation to be in.

Yes for some people its hard for them to gamble again after loss some but this guys is just loss $200 only and that will still be recovered if you play slowly, like make some goal each day to earn 0.1 or 0.05, I guess it is not that hard. Addicted if you didnt know how to control your emotion and greediness, if you can control it you will stop when you are in some profit and you can continue it again the same way for the next day

IDK how I should put this, as wrecked or profited. I gambled 0.28 btc my way up to 2.5btc then I lost it , down to 0.3 btc(I had withdrawn it before). So I guess I would say I profited.

That was the real problem = Greed

I would stay happy with 2.5 BTC for sure.

This is the point. When you way up your money like this, you think that, it will continue and your 2.5 btc is going to 25 btc. But it isn't.
This is all about wining and multipliying easly.

Gambling doesn't have extreme effects in my life as you said. I don't gamble for gaining wealth. I play for fun.

If you play for fun, are you then talking about online gambling or offline - like in a casino - ? I do understand why people would gamble in a casino and why they think it's fun: its a kind of entertainment which I understands. In fact, you could spend $50 in a club or you could spend $50 in a casino (including some drinks) - in which you might be able to earn a nice profit. Looking at gambling in casino's that way, it is not that bad.

However, what I do not understand is why people are spending huge amounts of money in online gambling. I mean, the entertainment factor is way less than in relation with offline gambling. It's okay to spend some parts of BTC in online gambling IF YOU CAN MISS IT though.

How can you have fun when you play offline? Watching a machine or ball in roulette have no fun at all, it's just a waste of time.
I say if you gamble play with small money.

It is true that it is more fun to gamble in the real life casino, but at the same time it is a lot easier and cheaper to visit a website than to travel to Veges or Macau or some other places. So for those with a small budget and little time, online gambling is the best option.

Just realize that the more you playing the more loss you will get..

Even with 1% house of edge it will hurt badly in long term playing...better to use real job for making money..T_T

People who are approaching gambling as a way to make a quick buck, or worse as an income, are going to end up in a bad way. The only sensible way to approach gambling is as a form of entertainment. When you go to a movie or to an amusement park you are not expecting to walkaway rich, and I think you need to view gambling the same way, as entertainment. If you plan on gambling "spending" $100 you should fully expect to walk away without it, same as if you spent $100 somewhere else.

Now with all that said, gambling's entertainment value does come from the fact that you can get lucky, beat the odds, and walk away with more money than you started, in some rare cases quite a bit more. But knowing full well about the house edge, you still need to realize over time the average will work against you. So again, unless you are one of the few who gambles, wins big, and never gambles again, over the long term you will end up on the losing side. Gambling is a form of entertainment only, not a means to acquire wealth.

Yes gambling is also one form of addiction like Alcohol, drugs, dope, women, etc. You get same Kick from Gambling as you get in case of above addictions. The only difference is here you directly dealing with money, so if you lose it then it's gone.
