Is it normal in the US to let your guns in your car?
Also do you have to put your gun in a security case if you are transporting it by car?

Gun control is an effective law if it is strictly implemented and followed because as we can see there are still a lot of people owning guns without license because they can buy it anywhere.
Gun control can be effective only if the government is 100% successful in preventing the criminals from owning illegal guns. But from what we have seen so far, none of the governments have been successful in doing that. That means that if gun control is implemented, then the civilians will be devoid of guns to protect themselves from the gun-bearing attackers.

The thing is you can have guns in europe. There is just no public carrying because police have the monopoly on it. I.e. in central and northern europe there exist 30-40 guns per 100 ppl. We dont just feel safer, we live safer (if you ignore the latest muslim stuff ). But at the end of the day it might be just culture. Europe had no wild west and is devided in (more or less) ethnically homogenous nation states in comparison with the US.

I'm a hardcore supporter of gun control. I don't think carrying gun individually is the right way of protecting ourselves. It is rather one of the main reasons of public violance. We can not trust people to carry guns only to protect themselves. Unfortunately we are not there yet as humanity.
What you must know is that the people who have legally acquired firearms are not the ones who going around committing crimes here and there, if you believe that we should take away their guns, the criminals will still have access to their guns and kill the innocent who's guns have been taken away.

The US is a country of immigrants looking for a better life, most of them from Europe by choice, and Africa by force. America was the first decentralized nation, built like the blockchain, no kings, no royal families. The Satoshi Founders were very smart to know the blockchain would be attacked, even from within... The code has been improved but... No fork so far... even after 237 years.

But that law also the reason why are some criminals are free to walk around and carry guns. Because there is a law supporting on it. Local authorities was having a hard time on distinguishing whether the person carrying guns has legally rights to carry it or not. Criminals respect laws? Was there any kind of crimes before the invention of the gun powder? Cavemen did no kill other cavemen? You are a criminal no matter the law because breaking the law makes you a criminal.

Speaking about America, carrying arms were legalised due to certain circumstances. But nowadays everything has changed and there are no more those circumstances in this country. So the law should definitely be revised. Otherwise tragedies like shooting at schools or on live tv programs will continue...

The same is true in the U.S. especially if you remove gang shootings in our largest cities (yes, Shitcago. I'm talking about you). Very few crimes are committed by legal gun owners and almost no crimes are committed by concealed carry license holders (most of us are investigated, trained, and tested for proficiency before being issued our licenses).

This technical expert speaks to the question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0SwSvy8pyY
Although there are regional differnces in technique, this rather well known clip demonstrates the general idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qf1rZ8E3ToM

I strongly doubt you can compare muslim terror in europe with gang criminality in the US. Re legal guns: That is my biggest problem with us gun law though. It is easy for criminals to get weapons because they can just buy it in the public often without background checks. That doesnt work in europe.

You are correct. Gangs in the US kill many more people. Chicago alone had over 700 shootings in 2016 and they have some of the most restrictive anti-gun laws in the nation.

I strongly doubt you can compare muslim terror in europe with gang criminality in the US. Fundamentally they seem quite similar to me. Both groups have seem to have known environments which are more basic and violent. Re legal guns:

That doesnt work in europe.
If some group who would be interested in, say, population replacement decides to arm the 'immigrants' with firearms, Euro-land is finished. Or at least it is fair to say that one chapter is over and a new and very different one begins. The Switzers (using Machiavelli's name for them) may have a chance. Also the Eastern block who've had hard times more recently than the 'Western Democracies' and thus have not become as philosophically malleable. But of course there has never been a situation where a leadership class engineers a more manageable pleb class, and it's never been the case that an outside group arms a segment of a population to achieve a goal, so I'm sure that EU-land has nothing to worry about. After all they are a bunch of cultured white people who are favored by any conceivable powers that be. Also it is certainly the case that the migrant class from the Middle-East and Africa will happily support the legacy lighter-colored and Christian-influenced oldsters with dignity and shower them with all the support they need as they hobble toward the mortal coil.

I believe that weapons should be for every mentally healthy person so that he can protect himself and his family. This will reduce the number of unwanted crimes and will make you feel safe.

Yes, I agree with you, weapons should be available to people. Everyone should feel safe. Weapons should only be used for self-defense and in no case in order to inflict harm on others

Guns are made for one purpose, and that purpose is to kill. I believe that guns are not weapons, they are tools. How they are used is up to the person holding it. Guns are especially dangerous in the hands of people who don't know how to use them (i.e., kids and teenagers) as well as those who are mentally ill and/or have a temper problem. Gun control will not stop violence because a violent person doesn’t need a gun to be violent. After the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, support for gun control increased dramatically. Generally in America, the support for gun control has outweighed the support for gun rights. Are gun control laws constitutional? What would be your ideal set of laws regarding firearms? in my country this is a illegal if you not a police/military, and you can Considered a terrorist

Having a 9mm Walther PPQ as my EDC (every day carry) makes me a much nicer person. I really don't want to shoot anyone under any circumstances, but I certainly will in a life or death situation. The net result of being armed is that I am very considerate to my fellow human beings. I go out of my way to avoid or deescalate confrontational situations.
Most of the violent assholes who act out do so because they believe there are no consequences.
