I don't know if we even need to teach kids about bitcoin. I dont see where they would get value from it. Maybe teens buying drugs or saving up for the future, but there are very few application that would help young children in my opinion.

Personally I feel scared to even teach my teenage brother on the way of bitcoin because of the exposure he might get which I am scared could go on and inform his decisions even as simple as claim I faucets is as a way of starters, I am skeptical about his involvement in the majority of scam sites and HYIPs and if that is to my teenage brother, the I dont think kids should be brought in to the picture at all...

Me too, I don't think that you can teach a children such boring terms ( for the kids ) about bitcoin. They will be just giving you a face frowned not knowing what you are saying or either llaying while you are telling them which is a sign of they do not care. If you really want the kids to learn them, try to introduce them to a faucet game which will they enjoy. Games like the blockchain game and the Alien run is popular on android, they will be asking questions about it when the time comes.

I have to disagree with you because if you inplement the same system to kids as adults are using it they will absolutely won't learn anything. For example how about you are teaching college algebra to kids would you think they would absorb anything after that? Of course not you have to teach the basics first before you enter rhe hard lessons especially money (Bitcoin included).

You don't get it. I am recommending them a game that is a faucet and they will enjoy playing it. I did not say i will teach them anything about bitcoin. Kids likes to play and know new stuffs, after playing games they will ask something about that, but I still dont think that they will still understand it. I did not say anything about teaching them about money and bitcoin, I said to introduce them to faucet games. (sigh)

Among everything that a kids may learn why would you ever pick Bitcoin to be the main subject to the their learning? I think it is not ideal even at introducing kids the idea of Bitcoin, they are not even recommended to touch anything internet related yet (facebook and other social media sites) as it can hinder the experience of kids having fun socializing with other kids which is better compared to sitting or lying down using a tablet or phone. My point is there is a right time for Bitcoin to be open up to the person and that is maybe when they are teenagers where money or investing can be introduce to them properly as they will know the importance of money clearly at this puberty years.

I don't get it why the one quoting my posts are saying always that I will teach them about bitcoin, I just said that I will introduce them to faucet games, and let it enjoy it, I did not say anything about teaching them bitcoin, unless there will come a time that they will realize something, not now that he/she is a child but when he grew up and be a teen or an adult. Getting scammed online never physically hurt anyone so far unless of course the damage was inflicted to one's self. If you're fine right now, then you're brother probably will be fine as well. I haven't seen someone goes to trauma or whatnot just because he got scammed by some HYIP site. You should just warn him right away to never invest in a website, never deposit money, never use personal email address, and never use the same password.

Prevention is better than cure. It should be clear to him right away that everyone will try to scam you especially if you show them that you are new in the game.

Still I can say let the children have fun during free hours and focus on study during learnig hours.  It is more helpful than forcing them to learn about Bitcoin.  Before teaching any advance, we should build the fundamentals first. and that is by letting them focus in their school activities.

While I agree with you in part, children are a lot more smart than we give them credit for so I don’t see what wrong it could do to a kid to explain to them how something like bitcoin works, if they know how to use a mobile phone and know how to send a text message then they already know enough to understand the basics of bitcoin.

i think the  best way to make them understand about bitcoins is by saying that bitcoin is another type of currency and it is not fiat like usd or any other curreny .it exits and it cant be felt and it  is  the  future and it has a lot of potential.

I think that is not a good idea to explain to them that bitcoin is a type of currency, why? Because kids today are intelligent and they can think of something new and out of their curiosity they can use it for gambling unless we are not going to open them the negative things that we can do it, other wise it is a good idea.

The kids are need more education and i think that's not the right thing to tell the bitcoin to the kid, because they're need a lot of the education. That's not the right environtment for them.

I agreed on you on that, maybe at the their right age they can start to learn about about in bitcoin. there in the stage of process of learning  to their elementary education. But  we can show them the usage of bitcoin but not to mention  that bitcoin can give profit.

In today's children are very easy to teach especially when it comes to online they can easily learn. You just teach them about bitcoin and how to earn it is easy just to tell  them that bitcoin is cryptocurrency that you can convert it into cash and you just guide them right until they learn.

I agree that kids are easy to teach especially operating computers and gadgets, but there are certain things where kids knowledge is very limited.  That is why they need to have a grasp of basic learnings on academic stuff.  And that is why they should focus on their schoolings first than getting cents from faucets or games.  Would you exchange the future of your kids to a merely cents because it is about Bitcoin?

Yes, it is just a topic, but in reality kids have no need to know about bitcoin. Most of the reasons are here, but in short, childhood is a limited period and in this time, no need to doing a job and take hard study, better is that children play with their toys and friends and do their own study and live a happy childhood period.

For me, if you are going to teach kids about bitcoin, the age should be considered. There are many ways to introduced bitcoin to kids but the age will surely matter since kids in different ages have also different taste in learning. Kids are surely smart today, kids can easily learn and remember what they are taught but it will be based on how you teach them. Kids in ages 3-5 years old can learn or have an idea about bitcoin through videos (especially animated ones) since at this age, we cling to graphics. The next range which is 6-8 years old can be taught by solving puzzles and games related to bitcoin but I don't think that they should be allowed to play gambling. The next range which is 8 years old and above are kids who can learn about bitcoin (if they are interested) by reading about bitcoin. At this age, the introduction about bitcoin like what is bitcoin, where is it for, what can bitcoin do and etc are the fundamentals for kids to know something about bitcoin. By the way, this is just my opinion.

Yeah teaching kids about bitcoin is really a hard thing, but this can be made perfect through games that give small earning in the form of bitcoin. In my view it's good to teach them if they like it else leave on their own as childhood is the stage were they are supposed to learn various other necessary activities.

Kids might not be interested with bitcoin, they have their world and they need to grow.
If we teach them with faucets without telling that what really is bitcoin, that will not help them grow, we have to be very
transparent, hence we choose what age we need to teach them, the age where they are matured enough to understand bitcoin.

Tell them that bitcoin is also another form of money but rather than you can only see them online. Meaning its actually the money inside the internet. You need to explain what are the usage of bitcoin and how to withdraw and earn them.

Correct we can teach kids and there is a chance they will learn it easily because kids nowadays has a knowledge on internet even if we will not explain to them there is a chance they will learn it by themselves

Kids nowadays are fast learners and can easily understand, so if I teach a kid about bitcoin I will present video. I will allow to watch video about bitcoin on whats the process and on how it works though. That bitcoin is a form of digital currency that can be use in an instant way.

Kids these days are increasingly smart and have so much more access to things. Games are the way to go, solve puzzles make a few satoshi (very few) and in exchange to these satoshis you unlock more puzzles or get some kind of a virtual reward.
This would enable the thought process that you've got to earn if you want something for yourself, and also keeps them in close vicinity to crypto-currency and the crypto-world.

I would agree, games are the way to go.  Something bright and easy, perhaps incorporate some kind of mining aspect into it so they can understand the process.  Could start off collecting some satoshi by completing puzzles and then be able to rent mining rigs / hardware in order to make more or something to that effect but definitely gaming is the way to go in my opinion.

As of now kids are very smart and fast learners because of technology and when it comes to bitcoin i teach a kid about bitcoin i will play slideshow to them that focus on how to earn in bitcoin and the important of bitcoin

It's hard to teach kids something that they haven't done before like bitcoin, so the first thing to do is to teach children a little knowledge about economics, second is to teach them step by step about bitcoin, what bitcoin is and what are the advantages of it and thing to avoid, if they have questions answer it in a complete thought for them to understand it properly. The next thing you'll know children will become a pro after years.
