In my opinion, its not necessary to each them about bitcoin now. Let them concentrate in studies now. When they grow up they will learn about it by themselves. . For everything there is a specific time period. In the case of kids, their main duty is to study well and not thinking about financial stability. I agree that we should tell them what bitcoin is . Tell them its money just like USD, EURO etc . Thats it.
You are correct, bitcoin will only be a destruction at their job age and they might lost focus on what is their priorities. Bitcoin can give them good future but it should be in the proper time and let us wait for that. i do not think so that bitcoin is going toward destruction, bitcoin is one of the most popular crypto currency and its popularity is increasing from time to time, hope that bitcoin will remain as one the most successful crypto currency and will always remain as active crypto currency of the world. people from all over the world are using bitcoin. they are using bitcoin mostly for investment purpose because still in most of the area bitcoin is still not using as fiat for shopping, therefore they are using it for making money by hold it or investing it in some profitable business or trading alt coins.

As a father, I want to teach my children about money and the wise use of it. My father taught me to be responsible, to save, and to avoid debt as much as possible, and his lessons have served me well. Now I want to pass on those principles to my children, but it gets a little tricky in a world where mainstream financial advisors point in the opposite direction, encouraging reckless lending and government bailouts. Enter Bitcoin. Teaching our kids about Bitcoin can provide valuable lessons about money management that will make them successful money managers as adults and help them to avoid the excesses that afflict our current global economy.

Teaching kids about bitcoin i think no need to do that because they are kids. Maybe teach them if they graduated in high school that is best right to teach them. But kids maybe its not the time to learn about bitcoin.
I consider it as insane. A kid is always a kid he/she having nothing to do with the profit or loss or to earn or to not. Kids are not responsible for to get a toy or anything by themselves. Let them be in their own world despite if not you are trying to snatch childhood from a kid which is horrible in my opinion. Everything has a specific time to do at. The best part is after completion of graduation let him know about the forum and let the kid find a way by their self. The only thing that an adult have to do is to guide them to a track.

I think you understand the word "kid" directly, but actually, here it means young generation in general. So, for teens or to young people who just began their career bitcoin can become good financial support. And to those kids who have the necessary skills in programming and some basic business education - bitcoin can become the greatest idea for some bitcoin based startup.

My understanding with kids are those who are still minors but there are minors who are responsible and are matured already, age is not a big issue because if he can understand and he is willing, it would be easy for him to understand about bitcoin. Kids nowadays are very smart because they have more freedom than the past, and we have seen as a result there are young entrepreneur who are successful now, even in crypto, there are young people who are making good money.

I believe that kids should learn about demand x supply and inflation x deflation because this is a good knowledge for daily stuff, not only complex cryptocurrencies. To know that when more people want something, the price of this item usually rise, and how to proceed in this scenario is a good idea Lol small children will not understand and understand about it, although you tell them about many things like demand, supply, fluctuations, they will not understand it. Because they are not ready with it yet

Obviously, who will teach kids with that kind of stuffs about demand supply infation and deflation? I don't even know how will I explain them to the kids if they asked me. Bitcoin is so advanced to teach kids, why not just introduce the kid to bitcoin and then that is enough, I mean don't explain all of them, just like , kid this is bitcoin, bitcoin this is my kid.

They don't need to be touching money in the first place. Handling money means you are giving the kids have a decision on where or how to spend it on their own, which is not right because you are giving the kids a power on which they still don't deserve at their age. The old ones are the providers of the needs of the kids they don't need money because all the needs can be satisfied by the parent.

I think telling the bitcoin to anyone let alone children is not easy. bitcoin is different from paypal, if I tell them paypal then they soon learned but when bitcoin they confused, the easiest way is to engage them in the discussion forum.

An interactive video should make it both fun and easy to learn. Yeah it is different from PayPal because it is entirely digital money it cannot be withdrawn only exchanged for cash after lenghty process. A good way to get them started is introduce them to bitcoin faucet sites like http://freebitco.in

I am quite young at the moment, so I am not very concerned about teaching my kids about Bitcoin. However, I may teach them when I have kids.

It's pretty hard to explain bitcoin to kids, we can explain it just like points in game play or like money in credit card

Can you give me links of those gaming sites? Not Casino site but rather games that can be played by kids and keep them entertain. It is really good to mildly involve kids to Bitcoin since Bitcoin can be the future of currency. Having them have an idea, though not directly participating in the economy of Bitcoin, would be nice.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.htmlThis article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money". ...what other ideas come to mind? For me, if the kids is below 10 years, I think it is not advisable for them to teach the kids about in bitcoin. But sooner or later bitcoin will spread out immediately. But now majority of the kids are always looks for enjoyment and fun.

You can easily teach kids all about bitcoins by the time they can understand things like this.A kid who is in an 5-9 years old of age must be away from this and only 10 and above must the teach if they want so.Though bitcoins usage has no age limits but there are things that are limited only to those who have real knowledge through it.

If children are interested in the topic of crypto currency, then you can give them basic knowledge. And if it is not interesting for children, then you can not teach them anything about bitcoins. When they grow up, they themselves will know everything or ask you
