haha rofl . i'm student currently in college and my prof. discussed about bitcoin. and i'm amazed that some of the stores and businesses here is accepting bitcoins as a currency go cryptocurrency!!!!
You have a modern professor! Congratulations! Crypto currency is our future. I think our children will use only crypto currency. Children should get used to this
Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currency, and we know that the next time is crypto time period. Because more and more people want to know about the concept of digital currencies so it is good that we teach our kids from their earlier classes as they can understand its concept very well. So we have to educate our kids the real concept of Bitcoin and tell them about the history of Bitcoin as they develop their interest in Bitcoin and just imagine how useful our kids if they understand it and earn with it.

For me the best way to teach kids or any people about bitcoin is that, explain them what is bitcoin, teach them on how earn money, and also show them or remind them about the rules and regulation of this site. Smiley

I think kids are not yet ready to learn what bitcoin is. They must be kids now, like they play. But in doing this they must learn how to be concern in their country especially the needy.

I think like teaching how to walk and speak is similar with the teaching of bitcoin to the kids. Slowly and careful with a gentle touch of words to easily adopt bitcoin. Of course every kids is unique some will be teachable and some are not.

Kids are exposed a lot on computer games, real games and toys and on TV cartoons so the best way to teach kids about bitcoin is through these resources, make an example about bitcoin trough cartoons or games. So they willing to games trough bitcoin.

I think telling the bitcoin to anyone let alone children is not easy. bitcoin is different from paypal, if I tell them paypal then they soon learned but when bitcoin they confused, the easiest way is to engage them in the discussion forum.

It is very difficult to teach children about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.Children have a developing mind which us very unstable. It is very difficult to create interest in such a complex task.Children know nothing about the market. They do not know about trading or investment. They will gradually learn everything.Even adults find operating bitcoin a bit difficult initially. Then they also learn gradually. But children should focus in their studies and play outdoor games instead of wasting their time on internet.

I think most kids these days are exposed in one way or another to "virtual currencies".

Be it Facebook credits or Runescape dollars, or somethign else - Bitcoin really isn't different in practice only it is a lot more secure. Otherwise it is the same. I think kids will learn easily because of this. It is the adults who are going to have the most difficulty learning about it. Smiley

Kids need to know about this innovation because basically their future is revolving around bitcoin and all this will be necessary for them to know so teaching them about bitcoin is great favor to them so that they can professionally adopt bitcoin and I think now bitcoin subject should be started on every level of studies so that everyone knows about it and people will surely prefer to send their kids in bright future coin bitcoin.

I think introducing bitcoin to a child simply by educating about there are other ways they can use to make financial transactions so they are familiar with the digital currency

Playing interactive and educational game that's all about bitcoin would be a good idea that can help implant in their brain the bitcoin's significance in this era. A game that would teach them how to be patient will lead them to be a better hodler too.

It is not necessary to teach kids about digital currencies even bitcoin, I mean let them experience the word without knowing this kind of things. Learning digital currencies means that they will be learning a lot especially in the side of the economy making their lives more serious and take their freedom as a innocent child. Let them know it in their own ways, we do not need to force them even if it is giving us good profit.

It is not really necessary because they are still kids and they need a lot more knowledge and it is not the best to just teach them straight to cryptocurrencies and it is better for the kids to learn from the school first and learn it slowly but surely until they get into the stage that they are getting a lot of interest in the computer and that is the time you will teach them.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?

I think teaching children about bitcoin is hard, they don't have any interest about it on their young age, so it seems that any suggestions now is just a trial and error. That is how I understand for now.
