Well, i always sell my bitcoins, because i need turn my bitcoins into money/fiat for my daily things. If i never sell my bitcoins, so what must i do with my bitcoins ?

Lol I think people wait and do not sell their bitcoin as they wait for high prices? they also have needs just like you. they use bitcoin and convert it to a fiat to buy daily necessities. but they certainly want to sell at high prices so they hold back and wait for higher prices

That is the problem with some of the investors here because we failed to follow the basic principle in investing, if we put our money in bitcoin we must ensure that the amount we put is the amount we can afford to lose and no matter what happen we should not cash out easily.

Take seriously the bitcoin trading. No such thing as afford to lose because if you set your mind like that, you are just allowing yourself to have a free loss. Make sure that you won't reached the status of that "afford to lose" because in the first place, you are trading to make profits so always keep on touch to your bitcoin investment.

That is not what it meant, we need to be realistic, even in gambling a limit of our wagered because we believe that there are two possible outcome of gambling which is losing and winning, even if you think that the event is going to be on your favor but still the reality will prevail that we cannot determine the future.

nope i think if you're using bitcoin to trade. I think it also helps bitcoin. because you're going to make bitcoin market being crowded in an exchange. maybe when you buy bitcoin would be to have a good effect for bitcoin. but I agree with you. Holding your bitcoins forever is useless. And yes you just need to wait for the right price so that you are going to be satisfied with it and going to get profit when the price is going to be at good range then that's the right time to sell your bitcoins. And of course read some updates, speculation of experts if it is still good to hold.

Yes that's what I have said earlier. That's true you must have set the right time before you are going to sell your bitcoins. As long as it is going to make you feel comfortable and happy at the current price by that time then it is going to give you good profit at all. But holding forever is not really a good thing.

I bought several bitcoins a few years ago. I have hold most of the coins and the price has risen quite a lot.

I do not agree with this completely. If you are an investor in Bitcoin, then you should buy and sell coins as and when needed to gain profits. Keeping them safe in wallet and not spending/selling can give u one time good profits once you sell them after few years.

it is always a good strategy to hold your bitcoins and sell it in the future because the real value of bitcoins will be seen in the future. The current price is always an opportunity for use as maybe 10 years from now it could increase substantially.

Well this is a good price range, I'm hoping also that the price is going to reach that amount and for sure I'm going to sell my bitcoins by that time.
But I think before it happens it will going to take a lot of years before it is going to happen. But for me, $1,000 is already enough before I'm going to sell all the bitcoins that I'm holding.

It is good to hold your bitcoins for the long run. Who knows what the price will be in 10 years. As long as I don't need money I will also keep my coins. No point in selling at the moment.

That is correct just set a time and amount to your bitcoin before you going to sell and forever is not gives you a high profit, an investment will gives you a high profit when you see you already an income just withdraw the capital and profit and reinvest only the capital and the profit you gain before just invest in other investment that you trust and i think will gives you multiple income.

This is the part I have issue with. I use bitcoin because I don't have to use a payment processor. If in the future a transaction costs $10, I would rather use an altcoin than something like blockstream. If adoption declines because of fees or not having direct access to the ledger then miners will also abandon bitcoin for something more lucrative.
